Happy Thanksgiving, Ann

(Author's Note: I literally couldn't think of a better name for this one, I'm sorry)

Many years ago, in America, we see a young Ann Takamaki going into someone's home with her parents for a social gathering. Ann's father is seen carrying a tray with sweet potatoes as they walk into the house. Upon entering the house, Ann looks around to see autumnal decorations strewn about the place. The little blonde girl looks at all of the decorations in awe as the home's owner introduces himself and guides the family of three to the dining room. She walks with her family and the home's owner into the dining room where she finds a big table with platefuls of food on them, and in the middle of the table is a cornucopia centerpiece.

It's Thanksgiving Time!

Later in the day, Ann, along with her family, the host and his family, and a few of the host's family and friends are seen in front of the T.V watching a big parade on a city street. Ann is watching as balloons and floats based on all of her favorite cartoons and anime went down the street, and bopped her head to the beat of the musical performances that the parade would offer.

Later, Ann, along with some of the other female present, watched as the men participated in a game of football before dinner. Ann and her mother cheered happily when they saw Ann's father score the winning touchdown.

Finally, Ann is seen at the dinner table with her family, the host and his family, and the host's family and friends. They all have their own plates loaded with turkey, sweet and mashed potatoes, cooked vegetables, and a buttered roll. Everyone is seen giving grace before digging into their meals. After dinner came desert, Ann's favorite part of the meal; all the cakes and pies she could eat!

Later, Ann is seen sound asleep on the couch as she watches the classic film 'Kids in Funland' (Babes in Toyland).

This was one day that Ann would never forget. And she still holds onto this happy memory to this day.

Back in Present Day…

We now see Ann Amamiya sound asleep in bed with her husband Ren. Her memory of that wonderful Thanksgiving now reduced to a happy dream that she'd have every now and again. The sound of the alarm clock wakes the couple from their slumber as they sit up in their bed and stretch their muscles before Ren turns the clock off.

"Good morning, Ann," Ren said, "How'd you sleep?"

"I just had the most wonderful dream," Ann said.

"About what?" Ren asked.

"About one of the happiest days from when I was a girl," Ann answered, "By now I'm sure you know that my parents traveled a lot for their jobs. Well, one time they actually brought me along on a trip to Chicago, and it was late November, meaning we arrived just in time for Thanksgiving. Some friends of my parents invited us over for a Thanksgiving feast at their place. Ren, I'll tell you, it was absolutely wonderful!"

"I've heard about Thanksgiving over there in the states," Ren said, "It sounds a lot different from the Thanksgivings we have here in Japan."

"It's very different, but in a very good way," Ann explained, "Every final Thursday of November in America, everyone would gather around to celebrate the holiday. There's parades, football games, and all the food you can eat!"

"What food did you eat?" Ren asked, curiously.

"Not like the food we eat here on our Thanksgivings," Ann answered, "There's mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables of all kinds, cakes, pies, and perhaps best of all, turkey!"

"It does sound scrumptious," Ren said, his stomach growling at the mention of such delectable food, "People in America really know how to celebrate a holiday."

"They really do," Ann said with a smile, before said smile descends into a frown, "Unfortunately, that day is just a distant memory now, and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to relive it."

Suddenly, Ren got an idea! He remembered that the last Thursday in November is just a few days away. Always wanting to see his wife happy, Ren came up with a plan to give Ann a traditional American Thanksgiving. One that he hoped will be just as good, if not better, than the one she experienced when she was a child.

After quickly coming up with a plan in his head, he gave his wife a hug and a kiss to cheer her up, which worked like a charm, before the two of them got out of bed to wake up their children and start off their day.

Later in the day, after Ann left home to take part in a photoshoot for Vague Magazine's (Vogue) to model for the magazine line's upcoming winter ensemble. After she left, Ren assembled his children, his friends and their children, and a few extras like Sojiro, Ryuji's mother Nanami, Makoto's sister Sae, Dr. Takemi, and Daisuke's cousin Ryuta, so he could go over his plan with them on giving Ann a great American Thanksgiving.

The group is seen gathered in the living room of the Amamiya Residence as Ren prepares to speak.

"I've gathered you all here today because I need your help with something," Ren said.

"Way ahead of you on this one, buddy," Ryuta said as he took a hammer and wrench out of his pocket, "Let's build this ark!"

"What? No!" Ren said, confused, "Is that why you thought I gathered you all here?"

"Well if you didn't gather us all here to build something I don't why we're here," Ryuta said.

"If you stay quiet and let me explain, I'll tell you," Ren said, "Anyway, when Ann was a child, she celebrated a real American Thanksgiving with parades, a football game, and a big banquet with a turkey. She told me it was the happiest memory from her childhood."

"It sounds like a lot of fun," Ryuji said.

"But that begs the question as to why we're all here," Shiho said.

"I want to recreate that happy memory for Ann, so that come Thursday she can relive that day and feel like a kid again," Ren said.

"That's very sweet, Ren," Hayato said, his heart melting.

"Ann is my girl, Hayato," Ren said, "I'll do anything to see her smile. Anyway, I can't really do this job on my own, that's where you guys come in. I've separated the 30 of us into three groups of ten so we can work on each part of this plan evenly."

"Just tell us what you want us to do dad, and we'll do it," Minato said.

"Alright," Ren began, "Group A, you're in charge of the parade. This is when you decorate your cars and/or bicycles to the best of your abilities so we can really dazzle Ann. I've chosen the best creative vision and artistic eye for this part. With that said, the People in Group A will be Yusuke, Mana, Mitsu, Hotaru, Hayato, Hifumi, Shiho, Kaito, Riku, and Morgana."

"Alright," Mitsu cheered.

"We'll make this the best parade Ann has ever seen," Yusuke said.

"Excellent," Ren said before continuing, "Group B! You ten are in charge of putting on a good game of American football for Ann. As such, I've chosen the most athletic members of our group for this job; Ryuji, Makoto, Himari, Sae, Ichiro, Sumire, Kas, Ryuta, Mishima, and Minato."

"Alright, I got the fun one!" Kas said to herself.

"Does it matter that neither of us have ever seen a game of American football?" Ichiro asked.

"Yeah, the only football I know is the one where you actually use your foot," Yuuki said.

"The internet exists for a reason, guys, use it!" Ren said before moving on to the final group, "And finally, there's Group C, the ones in charge of cooking the Thanksgiving Dinner. That group will consist of Sojiro, Futaba, Mai, Haru, Daisuke, Nariko, Nanami, Takemi, Kimiko, and myself."

"I'm down for this Ren," Futaba said, "But where are we going to find a turkey?"

"I know this place in Gotanda, Futaba," Daisuke said, "That place is like international waters. You can buy literally any kind of meat there. If they don't have turkey there, I will be so surprised."

"As long as it doesn't cost you your life savings and a kidney, I say you go for it," Ren said, "Alright everyone, get to work! We have until Thursday to get this operation off the ground."

"Uh, quick question, Uncle Ren," Kaito said, "We kind of have school then. Is this going to be an all day thing?"

"The 11 of you worked hard this semester," Ren said, "I say we give you all a mental health day in honor of Thanksgiving."

"Hey, I'm starting to really like this holiday," Kimiko said as most of the other children nod their heads in agreement.

"Okay, we all know our jobs," Ren said, "Operation Turkey Day is underway!"

"YEAH!" Everyone went in unison.

What happens next is a montage of everyone getting Ann's Thanksgiving Celebration prepared throughout the week.

#1: Ren is seen going with Daisuke to the meat shop in Gotanda he was talking about. They talk with the clerk and a few minutes later walk out with a turkey.

#2: Group B, the group in charge of putting on a game of American Football, is seen looking up videos on the sport and reading books so they know what each play means and how to play the game overall.

#3: The adults of Group A are seen decorating their cars to make them look like parade floats while the kids of this group are taking their bicycles and decorating them.

#4: Ren is watching 'How To' videos on the internet when preparing sides like sweet potatoes, stuffing, and he even looks up a video on how to properly cook a turkey.

#5: Group B is going through practice drills and working on their moves.

#6: Daisuke is seen practicing with his jazz group from high school so they can give Ann a musical performance.

#7: Hayato seems to have a similar idea as he's practicing a song on his guitar.

#8: Everyone is seen leaving the craft store to make banners for the football game before heading to another store to buy pom-poms and noisemakers for the audience members.

#9: Group A are putting the finishing touches on their cars and bicycles.

#10: Ren is seen with Hotaru as he looks through a box of DVDs when he finds the DVD that he's looking for, Kids in Funland. Hotaru hands the DVD to Ren and the bespectacled man thanks the scarlet haired boy.

#11: Ren is up late at night on the phone with someone. He wants to pull one last surprise for Ann when it comes time for dinner tomorrow.

#12: Group C are working in the kitchen in the Amamiya Residence on the big day, Thursday; Thanksgiving! They are cooking the food before Ann gets home. Ren's goal here is to prepare the food, store it in the refrigerator, then when Ann gets home he can take her to see the parade and football game they prepared. Then they can go home, heat up the food real quick in the oven, then serve it up for her and all their friends. The montage ends with everyone storing the food in the refrigerator, satisfied with a job well done.

Later that day when Ann returns home from another photoshoot, she arrives home to see her husband, cat, and children at the front door with smiles on their face.

"Mom, you're home!" Kimiko said.

"Hey everyone," Ann smiled as she gave her family a hug and a kiss, "I've never seen you all this happy. What's the occasion?"

"You, babe," Ren said, "I was sitting on what you told me about American Thanksgivings and how you looked back on it fondly, so I decided to rally all our friends together so we could help you relive that day."

"You're foolin'," Ann said in disbelief.

"You know Ren isn't one to lie, Lady Ann," Morgana said.

"Our first stop is in Kichijoji," Ren said, "Come on, let's go!"

"Lead the way, sweetie," Ann said as she, along with her kids and Morgana, followed Ren out of their house and too Kichijoji.

When the Amamiyas finally made it to Kichijoji, they were seen waiting on the side of the street for something.

"So what's the first part of this Thanksgiving surprise, Ren?" Ann asked.

"Get ready, because it's coming up!" Ren said as, as if on cue, a horn honked. The family looked and saw the decorated cars and bikes coming up.

"You guys decorated those for me?!" Ann asked, surprised.

"Yup," Kimiko said happily.

"We know it's not the same as the parade you watched when you were a kid," Ren said, "But we did our best with what we had."

"That's okay, babe," Ann said, a big smile on her face, "You all did an excellent job!"

As the cars and bicycles got closer, the Amamiyas were able to clearly see the decorations of each car and bicycle.

First in line was Yusuke's car. His car had a fox and/or vulpine theme to it, more specifically the kitsune. He willingly got a paint job for his car so it had an orange hue to it. On the roof were fox ears and on the back were nine fox tails.

Mana came following behind her father on her bicycle which she gave a My Mini Horsey (My Little Pony) theme to. She had the theme song playing on her phone, she had stickers of all of the characters on her bike, and some My Mini Horsey themed balloons attached to the back of her bike.

Mitsu came behind her, and her bike was more sci-fi themed. Her bike had flashy blue, red, and green lights and she even gave it a silver paint job to give her bike a more 'chrome' look. She even rode by wearing Exterminator (Terminator) sunglasses.

Behind her daughter came Haru in her car, which she decorated in a series of colorful flowers and carnations. Not only was Haru's car the most eye catching, but it was also the best smelling one.

After Haru came Hotaru's bike. He had made a cardboard cruise ship which he put around his bike and is seen riding down the street with it. On the side of the ship you can see the words, S.S Thankful.

Hayato came next. To fit the Thanksgiving theme he had decorated his car with autumn leaves, he had a cornucopia on the roof of his car, and on the hood and back of the car were plush turkeys.

Hifumi's car had a beach theme. She had pictures of a shoreline on the body of her car and small palm trees along the hood, roof, and trunk of the car. Also on the roof of her car is a surfboard. Hifumi has Hawaiian themed music playing from inside her car.

Riku came next on his bike. It had a video game theme with stickers of video game characters on it, and Super Marco Bros. theme balloons tied to the back of it. Riku, however, went the extra mile and tossed candy from a bag he had wrapped around him at the Amamiyas, who were quick to pick them up and put them in their pockets.

Kaito's bike was next, and it was Revengers themed (Avengers). He had the Eternity Glove (Infinity Gauntlet) on the front of his bike, stickers of the characters and Eternity Gem replicas all over it, balloons of the characters tied to the back, and Kaito himself was wearing a Steel Man (Iron Man) mask as he drove by.

Shiho decorated her car so it had a Christmas theme. The most wonderful time of the year was right around the corner after all. It had an assortment of Christmas tree lights wrapped around it, a big red nose on the front, some reindeer antlers on the roof, and Christmas themed stickers all over the car's body. Within the car, Shiho also had Christmas music blasting.

Finally came Sojiro's car, which was decorated to have a wedding theme. On top of having those tin cans tied to the back, around the body of the car was flowing white cloth which looked like a wedding dress, and on top of it was a wedding cake with toppers that look just like Ren and Ann.

"Wow, Ren, they really did a lovely job on decorating their cars and bikes," Ann said.

"I'm glad you liked them," Ren said, "But I think we should follow them now."

"Why?" Ann asked.

"Oh, you'll see," Ren said as the Amamiyas gave chase to the parade.

The family followed the parade into Inokashira Park and stopped when they reached the gazebo. When they got there, they saw the rest of their friends there waiting for them as Hayato got out of his car with his guitar case before taking a place on the gazebo.

"Is this a musical performance?" Ann asked, putting two and two together.

"Oh yeah," Ren said.

When Hayato got his guitar out and took a seat, he tuned it up real quick before playing the song he's been practicing all week. As he played he started to sing.

"You heard my voice, I came out of the woods by choice," Hayato began, "Shelter also gave their shade. But in the dark I have no name. So, leave that click in my head, and I will remember the words that you said. Left a clouded mind and a heavy heart. But, I am sure we could see a new start. So, when your hopes on fire, but you know your desire, don't hold a glass over the flame. Don't let your heart grow cold. I will call you by name. I will share your road."

After that, Hayato picked up the tempo and started playing like a man possessed

"But hold me fast," Hayato continued, "Hold me fast 'cause I'm a hopeless wanderer. And hold me fast. Hold me fast, 'cause I'm a hopeless wanderer."

Everyone danced and cheered for Hayato as he continued to play his song. A few minutes later when his song wrapped up, Hayato stood up from his chair and took a bow as Daisuke and his jazz group from high school got on to the gazebo.

"And now, here's something I hope you really like," Hayato said as he got down from the gazebo to make way for Daisuke and company.

Once Hayato got off the gazebo, Daisuke and his jazz group began playing songs from the great crooner, Hank Spinatra (Frank Sinatra). As the group played, everyone had smiles on their faces as they let the smooth melody course through their ears and into their brains. After the performance everyone applauded.

"This is great, Ren," Ann exclaimed, "A parade, musical performances. It's really starting to feel like an American Thanksgiving."

"We're just getting started, Ann," Ren said before looking over at his friends, "Who's ready for some football!"

Everyone cheered in agreement in response.

"Alright, everyone follow me!" Ren said as he led everyone to another location.

Later at the Shujin Academy gymnasium, we see the likes of Ryuji, Makoto, Himari, Sae, Ichiro, Sumire, Kas, Ryuta, Yuuki, and Minato entering the gym while everyone else sits on the bleachers holding banners and waving pom-poms, with Ann, Ren, Kimiko, and Morgana sitting courtside. The 10 players are seen wearing elbow and knee pads, but the likes of Ryuji, Makoto, Himari, Sae, and Yuuki are wearing red shirts while the likes of Sumire, Ichiro, Kas, Minato, and Ryuta are wearing blue shirts.

"I can't believe you guys actually learned American Football for this!" Ann said in amazement.

"We're willing to do anything to see you smile, babe," Ren said as he planted a kiss on his wife's cheek, causing her to blush.

"Well, Kimiko looks like she's having a good time!" Ann said as she looked over at her daughter waving her pom-poms like a typical crazed football fan.

"Go! Go! Go, Minato!" Kimiko cheered, "Take 'em out!"

With the ten players in position, Ren stood up and picked up a nearby football before taking a coin out of his pocket.

"Alright, teams, time to see who goes first!" Ren announced, "Red team, heads or tails?"

"Tails never fails, buddy!" Ryuji said.

With that, Ren flipped his coin and it landed on…

"It's tails!" Ren announced, "Red team goes first! Blue team, kick off!"

Ren throws the football over to Ichiro and he waited for his bespectacled friend to take a seat before punting it over to the Red Team. The ball flies through the gymnasium and eventually lands in Ryuji's hands.

"Cover me!" Ryuji shouted as he and the rest of his team ran forward.

First to come at Ryuji as he ran to the other side of the gym was Sumire. Fortunately, Makoto kept the female gymnast busy. As that was going on, Himari was doing everything she could to keep Kas off of her father's tail. Ichiro charges at Ryuji in an attempt to tackle him, but the blonde was too fast for the male gymnast, and Ichiro ended up tripping. Ryuta however, was quickly gaining on Ryuji.

"You're mine, Jiji!" Ryuta exclaimed as he prepared to tackle him.

"Oh no you don't!" Sae said as she tackled Ryuta to the floor.

As Ryuji continued running, he saw Yuuki in the end zone with his arms open.

"I'm open!" Yuuki shouted, "Pass the ball!"

"Look alive, Mishima!" Ryuji shouted as he threw the football to the spiky blue haired man…only to be intercepted by Minato.

"Sorry, Uncle Yuuki, nothing personal!" Minato said as he ran away from Yuuki, just barely avoiding getting tackled by him.

As he ran towards his endzone, he narrowly avoided getting tackled by Ryuji while Kas kept Himari busy, and Sumire and Ichiro kept Makoto busy. As Minato inched closer to the endzone, Ryuta broke free from under Sae and he quickly ran into the endzone. When Minato saw Ryuta, he threw the ball for him to catch it, scoring the Blue Team their first point, causing everyone to cheer!

"Woo-hoo!" Kimiko cheered as Mana and Mitsu were happily applauding, "That's what I'm talking about, Minato!"

"Why are you all praising him," Ryuta frowned, "I scored the touchdown."

"Yeah, but I did most of the work," Minato said.

"Well I would've done more if I wasn't tackled to the floor," Ryuta said.

"Don't act like you didn't love it," Sae said with a cocky smirk, causing Ryuta to blush.

Daisuke noticed his cousin's facial expression and smirked, "Oh yeah, she likes him."

"Enjoying the game so far, babe?" Ren asked his wife.

"Are you kidding," Ann said with a smile, "This is great!"

"Well we still have a big feast to look forward to after this," Ren said, "And a little surprise of my own that I dare not spoil."

"I can't wait, babe," Ann said, "But first, I want to see how the rest of this game unfolds."

"You heard the woman," Makoto said, "Let's keep playing!"

"First one to score the lucky seven wins it!" Ichiro said.

"Bring it," Ryuta said as the football game continued.

Later at the Amamiya Residence, everyone is seen gathering around the dinner table. The only ones not present at the table are the ones in charge of preparing the dinner in the first place; Ren, Kimiko, Sojiro, Futaba, Mai, Haru, Daisuke, Nariko, Nanami, and Takemi. They're currently heating up the dishes they prepared earlier in the oven. Ann is seated at the head of the table while the seat next to her is reserved for Ren. Since this day was all about Ann and helping her relive the Thanksgiving she had as a child, Ren wanted to make her feel special by giving her the seat at the head of the table.

"I can't wait much longer for this dinner," Himari said excitedly, "I hope American Thanksgiving food is as delicious as they say it is."

"Be patient, Himari," Makoto said, "It'll be here soon."

A few moments later and the ten in charge of preparing the dinner came out of the kitchen holding serving trays filled with sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, homemade cranberry sauce, steamed vegetables, fresh baked rolls with butter, an assortment of pies and cakes, stuffing, some onigiri and sushi to keep some ties to Japanese culture, and finally a delicious turkey!

As all of these dishes came out, everyone stared at them, their mouths practically watering.

"Ren, you have outdone yourself," Ann said to her husband as she stared at the banquet before her.

"I can't take all of the credit, Ann," Ren said as he took his seat at the table, "I had some help from our friends. If it weren't for them half of the things we did today wouldn't have even happened."

"You all really did go above and beyond in helping me relive the American Thanksgiving," Ann said to her husband, friends, and family, "I really can't thank either of you enough."

"Aw, thanks mom," Kimiko said.

"Well, don't forget I have one last surprise for you," Ren said, "We're still missing two very important guests."

"Really," Ann asked, "Who?"

As soon as Ann asked, there was a knock at the front door.

"Oh," Ren said, "I'd better go get that."

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Ann asked.

"I think you might want to remain seated for this," Ren said as he got up from his seat to answer the door.

A few moment later Ren returns to the dining room with two people that made Ann's eyes widen and jaw drop in amazement. What she saw was a Japanese woman with black hair and a man with blonde hair just like hers. It was Ann's parents! Ann, and by extension Ren, Kimiko, and Minato never saw Ann's parents as they were fashion designers that were always away on business. But here they were, standing right there in her dining room. Ann didn't know how Ren did it, but he managed to get in contact with them and told them to come here to take part in their daughter's Thanksgiving celebration.

Ann was so happy that tears of joy were streaming down her face.

"Oh my God!" Ann said, "Daddy! Mommy!"

"Hey, sweetheart," Mr. Takamaki said.

"We missed you," Mrs. Takamaki chimed in.

Ann didn't waste any time. She got up from her seat and ran up to both of her parents and gave them both the biggest hug she could muster.

"I can't believe it," Ann said, feeling as though she's living a dream, "What are you two doing here?"

"Your husband called us and told us about his plan to give you a traditional Thanksgiving," Mrs. Takamki said, "Just like the one you had when you were little."

"Are you surprised," Mr. Takamki asked his daughter.

"Absolutely," Ann said, "You two are always so busy."

"Well when we heard about your husband's plan, we just had to take time out of our schedule to come down and see you," Mr. Takamaki said as Kimiko and Minato came up to their grandparents, "And you know we had to check up on our grandkids."

"Hey grandma, hi grandpa," Minato said with a wave.

"We missed you guys," Kimiko chimed in.

"Oh my goodness, Minato, Kimiko, look how much you two have grown," Mrs. Takamaki said as she gave the two Amamiya children a kiss on their cheeks before looking at her daughter and Ren, "You two must be so proud having raised two beautiful children."

"Believe me, Honoka, we are," Ren said to his mother in-law.

"And great children like Minato and Kimiko deserve something very special," Mrs. Takamaki said as she reached into her purse and took out ¥15,000 ( $100) for both of them.

"Wow!" Kimiko exclaimed.

"Thanks, grandma," Minato said gratefully.

"Don't spend it all in one place, you two," Mrs. Takamaki said.

After hugging her parents enough, Ann went over and hugged her husband.

"Ren, there just aren't enough words to tell you how thankful I am that you went through all of this to give me the perfect Thanksgiving," Ann said, happy tears still in her eyes.

"Are you kidding, Ann, I love you," Ren said, "I'd give you the whole world if I could."

"You've got a very good husband, Ann," Mr. Takamaki said before looking at Ren, "Thank you for making my daughter very happy."

"I'll do anything to see your daughter smile, Oliver," Ren said to his father in-law.

"Would you two like to come and eat with us?" Ann asked her parents.

"Of course," Mrs. Takamaki said.

"We'd be delighted and honored," Mr. Takamaki said

Ren, Ann, Minato, Kimiko, and Mr. and Mrs. Takamaki sat down at the table as everyone prepared to eat.

"Before we dig in, I think it only makes sense that we say grace," Ren said, "Ann, would you like to do the honors?"

"I'd love to," Ann said as she took her husband and son's hand, and they took the hand of the person sitting next to them. Soon, everyone around the table was holding hands and bowing their heads as Ann began to say grace.

"Dear, lord," Ann began, "Thank you for the food and the hands that prepared it. And thank you for all of the blessings that you've given us; good friends, loving families, and unbreakable bonds. Bless those of us who are here, bless those in our hearts, and bless those who are not so fortunate. May they find the peace and love that they crave. Amen."

"Alright, let's eat!" Kas said excitedly as everyone began to dig into their American Thanksgiving meals.

Over the next hour or so, everyone sat around the table telling stories and jokes and conversing about the food and the day they all had. They also talked about the things that they were most thankful for in life and expressed their hopes on having another American Thanksgiving for next year, and potentially inviting more people to take part.

Once dinner was over, everyone headed for home, leaving just Ren, Ann, Minato, Kimiko, Morgana, and Mr. and Mrs. Takamaki in the house. To cap off their evening, the seven of them gathered in the living room and watched 'Kids in Funland', courtesy of Hotaru and his DVD collection.

As they watched the movie, Minato and Kimiko were sitting with their grandparents on the couch as Morgana curled up on Kimiko's lap, the little girl happily petting him all the while. Meanwhile, Ann snuggled up next to her husband on the loveseat and he wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her close to him.

When the movie wrapped up, Mr. and Mrs. Takamaki left, giving their daughter, son in-law, and grandkids a hug and a kiss before they left. The family took that as a sign that they should go to bed too, especially since Ann was looking very tired.

Morgana retreats to his cat bed while Minato and Kimiko head off to their rooms, and Ren carries his sleepy wife, bridal style, up to their room.

With bellies full of turkey, the Amamiyas drifted off into a peaceful slumber, happy in knowing that they gave Ann a wonderful Thanksgiving day.
