"What are you looking at, dork?" Boscha asked, scowling when she saw Luz looking at her.
It was breakfast at the Owl House, and its newest resident couldn't help but notice a certain human witch looking at her.
"Are you going to do it?" the human witched asked curiously.
Boscha cocked an eyebrow, confused by the human's actions, and looked to the other family members for clarity. The owl mothers just smiled understandingly at the young witch.
"It's sort of a tradition in the Owl House that a young witch can take on the family name of their adoptive parents," Lilith explained.
"Si," Camila nodded and looked at her charge. "But you don't have to add my name. I haven't adopted you."
Boscha made a face as she looked at her guardian.
"Didn't you call me Noceda-Trisight last week," Boscha pointed out.
At this, Camila smiled bashfully and let out an awkward laugh. Lilith smiled good-naturally at her "sister" and then looked at Boscha.
"Regardless of prior events, you weren't officially adopted by any member of the Familia," Lilith explained kindly. "So you don't need to take any of our names."
Luz moaned and lightly banged her head against the table. "It would be cool." the Familia heard her muttered.
That caught the Familia's attention, and they looked at the human witch.
"What would be cool, Luz?" Vee asked curiously.
Luz snapped her head up, and she had a dopey grin on her face.
"If Boscha had taken my name, we would have even numbers!" she exclaimed and pointed to herself. "I'm Luzura Noceda-Clawthorne." She pointed at Amity next. "And you're Amity Blight-Clawthorne, and Vee is Veessa Clawthorne-Nocdeda."
Luz's smile turned catty as she looked and pointed at Boscha.
"And if you became Boscha Trisight-Noceda, it would have evened things out."
The Familia gave Luz a worried look before the Owl Mothers smiled, and Amity shook her head.
"You're such a dork it's hard not to love you," the tri-track student commented.
The human witch looked at her fiancee with glee in her eyes as she thought of something.
"I'm Luz, gotta love me!" the human witch suddenly said in a high-pitched tone, causing the Familia to laugh.
Boscha was the only one not laughing. She looked at her breakfast with a thoughtful look. As Camila got her laughing under control, she saw the look on her charge's face and couldn't help but frown mentally.
She knew that look all too well and decided it might be a good idea to keep her eyes on Boscha for a while.
(Later that night)
Bosha wondered the Owl house after everyone else had gone to sleep. She moved without making a sound thanks to a potion that masked sound. She looked at the living room and smiled slightly.
She has only been here for nearly two weeks but found herself already enjoying her stay, not that she would say that out loud.
Boscha let out a sigh and took a seat on the couch. She created a small light orb and let it hang over her face. She took a moment to take in the quiet and then took out a piece of paper.
On the paper were the two names she had been called the last couple of days. Boscha Trisight-Noceda has been crossed out, while Boscha Noceda-Trisight has been circled.
Boscha stared at the paper and sighed. "What's in a name anyways?" she asked herself as she made a spell circle.
She created a flicker of fire and moved the paper towards it. Her eyes happened to catch the names written on them and snuffed the flame out. She looked at the paper and sighed. She folded it up and put it on the table.
"...I guess Boscha Noceda-Trisight is kinda cool," the three-eyed witch mutter and grin. "And if I use that name, I'm sure it would drive my "cousin" up a wall."
She leaned her head against the couch, closing her eyes and taking the silence a little while longer.
It wasn't long before the young witch was sleeping soundly. Unknown to Boscha, she wasn't alone. Camila appeared from the stairway and walked over to her charge.
"You're just like Luz when she has something on her mind," Camila said nostalgically.
She couldn't help but smile as she draped a blanket over the girl. She leaned down and gave Boscha a motherly kiss on the forehead.
She was about to head back to bed when she saw the paper Boscha put on the table and knew without looking what was on it. She looked back at her charge with a smile.
"Good night, Boscha Noceda-Trisight," she whispered fondly.

If you get the reference, you're once again, older than me. And we're reaching the end of the Boscha's arc; just one more chapter, and then we move onto some Familia's beast-focused chapter.
