Chapter 7

"Izuku i think i found a good therapist for you." Izuku walks to his mother to check the therapist.

It has been two days since he told her everything that happened and so much changed in that little time. For one, he was taken out from Aldera and started online school, it's nice to not fear going to school anymore and the second is the fact that she is always there for him, talking with him and making time for him, not forgetting to always remind him that he never was and never will be a burden.

"Do you mind if i see who she is Inko ?" X too tries to help Izuku as much as he can, while they couldn't train on dagobah due to searching for a new school and searching for a good therapist, that didn't stopped him from being there, always praising and trying to stop his negative thoughts.

"Her name is Dra. Linda Colins, she was born american but speak fluently japonese, and from what i saw, everyone that had gone to her only says good things about her, she seems like a good therapist." X would have nodded if he could, searching for a therapist for Izuku wasn't an easy thing, if they weren't careful it could easily backfire and cause more harm than good.

X then reminds himself of something important, his partner can't know about the therapist quirk yet or it may be harder to start a conversatiom "Izuku, mind if i talk with you in private ?" Izuku was confused at that request since they could always talk in Izuku mind, but decides to follow the blue biometal.

Inko was also confuses at that since Izuku told her about the mental link that they had, but Z also realized X plan, seeing the confused face that Inko had, Z decided to speak "Inko, can you tell me her quirk ?"

Realization dawns in her face "Oh i see...well her quirk is-"

"W-what do you need to talk about X ?" Izuku was confused about why they couldn't use the mental link to talk, maybe he didn't want risk Z hearing what he need to speak ?

"Well, it's just that i want know how are you holding up, and if you are mad about me and Z forcing you to tell Inko about the bullying." X doesn't regret making Izuku tell Inko about it, but he doesn't want his partner to be mad at him.

"O-oh, if its only that you don't have to worry, if wasn't for you i would still be there, suffering all those insults and beating, now i can focus on mastering the megaman forms and not being scared about tomorrow" And Izuku isn't lying, he was sad for X and Z forcing him to tell, but now he realized that they just wanted the best for him.

"Oh, if that is what you truly think then i'm happy that you don't hold a grudge with me and Z." Izuku laughs a little at that, he can't stay mad at them.

"Even if i wanted i don't think i could, since i meet you and Z my life is getting better." Izuku thinks back to the recent days, since the biometals entered on his life everything was getting better, his mom now believes on his dream, and he has two friends that he knows that won't abandon him like kaachan.

"Ok, thank you Izuku, now i believe its time to go and see more about the therapist." And with that they both go back to Inko and Z.

"Her quirk is empathy, it allows her to sense if the person is scared, sad, happy, angry, or any other feelings, and it seems like that if she wants she can make them feel more calm if nervous, it seems really good for her job."

"Indeed, she seems a pretty good therapist, i hope she can help Izuku, he is strong but everyone has limits." Z assumed that X wanted Izuku to be a bit far to not let him hear about her quirk since it could be used to start the conversation between Izuku and Dra Linda.

Inko then sees Izuku and X coming back and changes the topic "Oh Izuku, X, what did you talk about ?"

"O-oh, X just wanted to ask if i was angry, about making me tell you about that." Inko understands what Izuku means by that.

"i see, well changing the topic, what do you think about her ?" Izuku then checks the Dra. Linda Colins, he can't help but be appreensive, the teachers never helped him with the bullying and some times they encoraged it, making him distrust adults, but-

"Izuku...i know that you don't trust her, but there is no harm to try, should you don't like her we will search another until you find someone you like." Izuku then notices he was muttering all of that and blushes, another habit he needs to stop.

"While i dont mind your muttering, i believe we should try and avoid it, or else the villain may hear your plan Izuku" X jokes, making Izuku blush even more.

Taking a deep breath Izuku answers "I t-think there is no harming on trying." Inko then smiles, she can see that Izuku doesn't trust Dra Linda but wants to try.

"Don't worry Izuku, tomorrow we will see her, and as i said, if you don't like, then we will search for another." Izuku then remembers an important detail.

"W-wait what is her quirk ?" Inko then chuckles, Izuku always will be a quirk nerd no matter what happens.

"Nope, we won't tell you, you will have to ask her tomorrow."

"Mooooom !"

Izuku along with Inko, X and Z are at Dra Linda door, Izuku is a nervous mess but tries to be brave for his mom.

"Don't worry Izuku, if you dont want to go, then we could come later or tomorrow" Izuku wants to go home so much, but he needs to be strong.

"N-no, i need t-to face my fears, if i fear this, then how i could call myself a h-hero ?" Inko can't help but feel proud of Izuku, it's clear that he fears going there, but he wants to face that fear to be a great hero.

"Then, lets go" Before Izuku opens the door X reminds him

"(Izuku, remember, we are here, just talk in your head if you need us.)" Izuku feels less nervous at the remind that his two partners are there with him.

When Izuku enters the room he couldn't help but take a deep breath, the room air was so clean, and the atmosfere was so calm and peaciful, for a moment Izuku forgets why he was so nervous.

After looking around the room Izuku spots a female figure with white coat, blue eyes and long blue hair, she wears a glass and has an calm smile on her face, Izuku can't help but blush a little by looking at her.

"Hello, you must be Midoriya Inko." she speaks in an calm voice before looking at Izuku, "And you must be Midoriya Izuku, I'm Dra. Linda, pleasure to meet you two."

Izuku is amazed, she speaks japonese like she was born here, if his mother hadn't told him about the fact she is american, he would never suspect it.

"Hello Dra. Linda, we are here to the first session of Izuku therapy."

"I see, well then, you can sit there Midoriya and then we can start, miss Midoriya i must ask for you to please wait outside for a while." Hearing that makes Inko a bit hesitant, but she decides to leave, but not before saying that she is there and only needs to call her.

"Ok Dra Linda, and Izuku i will be just outside, if you need anything don't hesitate to call me." With that Inko leaves the room and Izuku sits on the sofa while Linda sits on a chair in front of Izuku.

"Well Mr Midoriya, you can say anything you want to me, everything you say or do will only stay on this room, you can shout, cry or ask anything, ok ?" Izuku nods, normally he would be a nervous mess, but the room atmosfere eases his worries and he gathers enough courage to ask a question that was on his mind since that day.

"I-if is not too much trouble, i want to ask, what is your quirk ?" Dra Linda lets a small chuckle, leaving Izuku blushing.

"I don't mind Midoriya, my quirk is empathy, i can read what someone is feeling and make a calming effect on them, do you want me to use use it on you ?" With a nod, her blue eyes glows and Izuku feels more calm, her quirk took away any nervousmism that he was feeling.

"I saw you were nervous so i used a calming effect on you, i hope you don't mind, and i need to ask you something, can i call you Izuku ?" With a nod she lets the calming effect fade away, but while he can't feel the calming effect, he isn't nervous anymore but Izuku had stars on his eyes, her quirk was so cool.

"That's so cool ! Can you make someone feel something else like anger or happiness? Can you feel someone from distance ? Can you make someone feel a different feeling ? Something like anger ? does your hair and eyes changes colors ? Does your eyesight gets better when you use your quirk ? Do you-"Izuku realises he is rambling and shut his mouth and blushes.

"S-sorry, i just, when i see a quirk i just can't help but be so curious about it."

Dra Linda lets out a little chuckle "Don't be, its good to ask questions and know as much as you can, and i don't mind, but to answer your questions..."

'I hope Izuku is alright, maybe i should have looked better to see if she was really good, oh god what if she is a quirkist too, maybe she is making everything worst, i should go and check on them.' But before Inko could get up a red light blinds her and then she sees Z on his physical form.

"Z ?! What are you doing here ?! Why aren't you with Izuku ?!" Inko says in a whisper, while there is no one on sight, it's better to play safe.

"I decided to leave X to watch Izuku with Dra Linda, i came here to ease your fears about her and keep you company" While Inko feels a bit better that there is someone there to keep her from freaking out, but she needs to ask.

"Z, did you saw how is going there ? Is she treating him well ? Not judging his muttering or the fact he likes quirks so much ? Or-"Before she could continue Z cuts her.

"Now i see the similarity beetween you and Izuku." Z says a bit amused making Inko blush.

"But to answer your question, from the little bit i saw about her, she seems a good person to help Izuku with his trauma, she was very patient with Izuku, and even answered his question of her quirk, but in the end, it's up to Izuku if he wants her to be his therapist." Inko feels a lot better knowing that Dra Linda is treating her soon well.

"Now there is anything else you want to talk about Inko?"

Sometime later, Z senses Izuku and Dra Linda leaving and says a quick goodbye to Inko before he disappears, Inko then sees Izuku leaving the room.

"Mom, we are back, i hope we haven't taken too much time." Izuku says, and she can see that he is less nervous than when he came here, which brings an smile to her face.

"Hello Miss Midoriya, we are back and i must say, from some of the things i saw from this session i can see that Izuku is a really smart child, he even had shown me some notes that he himself made, and i was really impressed by his talent." Inko feels a bit of relief, maybe all that her worries were for nothing, but she can't be sure until Izuku tells her.

"But miss Midoriya, i want to talk with you alone for a bit." Inko nods and Dra Linda then turns to Izuku

"Hey Izuku, do you mind if i talk to your mother alone for a second ?" With a nod Izuku sits on the chair while Inko enter the room with Dra Linda.

"S-so, what do you need to talk with me ?" Dra Linda then takes her glass off and sighs.

"Miss Midoriya, i will be honest, i am happy that you came to me or tried to reach to a therapist now." Inko now feels her worries growing, and with that she can't help but ask.

"W-what do you mean Dra Linda ?"

"It's because from what i saw from talking with Izuku, his potencial is great, he is smart and always make sure to learn what he can, it's a good trait and not only that but with how much smart he is, he can help others people to use their quirks better." Inko can't help but smile, its nice to see another person see how much smart Izuku is.

"But from our talk here, if you hadn't come to me or another therapist, it could have happened the worst." Inko freezes, she didn't need to ask what is the worst that Dra Linda spoke, and he can't even imagine that scenario happening, but then she feels a calming feeling wash over her, and when she looks at Dra Linda again, her eyes are glowing blue.

"Apologies for using my quirk on you miss Midoriya, but i was sensing your distress, i recomend you take some deep breaths to calm yourself before we continue."

After some time Inko feels the calming effect fade away, but while the effect isn't with her anymore, she feels a bit better.

"As i was saying, always keep an eye on Izuku, while we can heal the scars on his mind, he will still regress to his negative thoughts, you need to be always there for him, always making sure that no matter what happens you will be there for him." Inko would already do that, she will never doubt him again.

"Is there anything else i need to know ?" Dra Linda then frown a bit.

"I dont know if you already saw it, but you need to remind Izuku that Bakugou Katsuki, or kaachan as Izuku says, is not his friend, i will try and help him to not see him as a friend, but i will need your help too, we could start by trying to take away the nickname he still have to him." Inko nods, after what Bakugou did, he would always be seen as a villain in her eyes.

"I believe that's all for now, if Izuku wants then we can meet again to continue his therapy, Izuku is a good person, with his kind heart and determination i don't doubt he will be a great hero." Inko smiles, it's nice to see another person believe on Izuku dream.

"Thank you Dra Linda, it was nice to meet you." Linda then smiles again.

"It was a pleasure miss Midoriya, i hope we meet again."

"Well Izuku, it seems like you are better than when we first meet, am i right ?" Dra Linda says with a smile, two months has passed since the day they meet, and while there is a long way until his mind is completely healed, she can see that he is more confident on himself.

"Yes Dra Linda, those sessions of therapy has helped a lot, thank you." And he isn't lying, on those two months Dra Linda and Inko helped Izuku with a lot of things, like his stutter, now Izuku stutter almost doesn't exist, while he still stutters if embarrased or nervous, he doesn't stutter on a normal talk, not to mention his training with the megaman X and Z form, X says that soon they could try the double megamerge.

"I also need to ask, is your mother still talking with Miss Bakugou ?" Izuku frown by the reminding of Bakugou, but he takes a deep breath to calm himself before answering.

"At first my mom was a bit hesitant to talk with Mitsuki, since they were friends and what Bakugou done made her hesitant to talk with her, but i had told her that it wasn't Mitsuki fault, she mostly likely didn't knew what he does, if she knew i doubt she wouldn't do something about it, so after i told her that, she talked with Mitsuki, it was a bit hard to Mitsuki hear everything Bakugou had done, but in the end they still are friends." Dra Linda nods before asking another question.

"What about Mr Katsuki ? Did he tried to do something about to you after miss Midoriya told everything to Miss Bakugou ?" Izuku shakes his head before replying.

"No, while Katsuki is easily angered, he is smart, i doubt he would attack me or even threaten me, he wouldn't want to risk his 'perfect record' as he says and risk his chance at UA." Dra Linda nods and smiles before asking her next question.

"And what about your friend, how is she." Izuku then blushes, one month earlier he meet an online friend on the online class. "She is pretty cool and helped me a lot with some of my problems, she isn't from japan but she says she will come to UA in a few months from now on, i can't wait to meet her in person." Izuku still remembers how he meet her.

"Alright, i finished my online study for today, i dont think i have anything to study for now." Izuku then stretchs. 'With how much dad works, mom saved some money he sends to home over the years, she made sure i had everything for my online study, like a computer, it was very different from Aldera, the teachers there always made my grades worse than it truly was, making me think that i was doing bad on the tests, but here, my grades are pretty high', Izuku was even surprised at first and even thought that it was a mistake, and another different thing from Aldera was that the material was really a challenge, its a nice change from Aldera, no fear of being attacked by bullies and insults.

"Now i think you should rest a bit, you study a lot Izuku" Izuku looks at the flying biometal on his shoulder, X and Z always make sure to not miss any school work that Izuku has, both to be sure that he isn't overworking himself and that he is paying attention.

"Maybe you could talk with a classmate from your online class ? It would be nice to have someone to talk aside from us, Dra Linda or Inko." What Z said isnt a lie, Izuku doesn't have any friends, but the thought of talking for someone makes Izuku scared of being insulted again.

"Izuku remember, deep breaths, don't panic, you don't have to do that if you don't want to." Izuku didn't even realized that his breath was getting faster until X reminds him.

Taking another deep breath Izuku says"N-no, i need to be brave, when i become a hero i will have to show confidence so i need to face my fear of talking with people sooner or later."

X and Z sees how much Izuku progressed from the boy that Izuku was two weeks ago, they can't help but feel proud of their partner, but before they can say something a message pops up on the computer screen.

Melissa.

~Hey, are you Izuku ? Midoriya Izuku ?~

'Oh my god, someone is talking with me, what should i say, how should i answer the message, calm down Izuku, don't panic, take a few deep breaths like X and Z reminded you.'

After taking a deep breath and calming himself Izuku answers.

~Yes, my name is Midoriya Izuku, what is your name ?~

Ok, just a normal answer, just a normal talk, there is no need to panic... Another message appeared.

~Oh, my name is Melissa, i saw you didn't have a partner for the group exercise so i wanted to know if you want to do it together.~

'Oh my god ! a girl is talking with me ! And she asked if she wanted to partner together to finish the material ! But what if i let her down and she fails because of me !? what if-'

"Izuku remember, no negative thoughts, you don't know until you try it." Izuku is thankful that Z is there to ground him and dont let him drown on negative thoughts.

"I believe you should reply to her, it's rude to leave a girl waiting." X teases him, resulting on Izuku blushing and focus on the talk.

~Sure, i will do my best to finish the material, but i can't make sure we will have a good grade.~

After a moment Melissa replies.

~Sure, mister 'one of the highest grade of the online class'.~

And that started a great friendship beetween the two former quirkless.

Linda smiles "She seems like a good friend from what you tell me about her."

"Yeah, it feels nice to have a friend." Dra Linda nods sadly, remembering that while Izuku made Melissa as a friend, he still is a bit scared of trying to make more friends.

"Well, i believe our session today is over, i believe i will see you next week Izuku." Izuku then gets up and says goodbye before leaving.

On the way back home Izuku gets a new message.

Melissa: Hey Izu, you didn't forgot about the project did you ?

Izuku chuckles before saying to himself "Mel always reminding me of the school, and that nickname... it's good to hear it again from an friend."

Izuku: Don't worry Mel, i'm almost finishing my part of the project, and how your training is going ?

Melissa: It's going good, i feel stronger and more confident on the exam, how are yours doing, mastered your aim ?

That's another thing that X suggested, training the aim with the X mode cannons, it is a bit hard but after a while Izuku could hit the target easier, but still miss some of it.

Izuku: Not yet, but my trainer says i'm doing good, for now i will train my sword skills, after a while i'm gonna try and use both at same time.

While the aim is still not perfect, Izuku still need to work some of his sword skills need to get better, while he have practice with the Z saber, he still need to train slashing while dashing or when jumping in the air.

Melissa: It's a nice idea, you shouldn't be focusing just on long distance skills or else your enemy catches you by surprise on close combat.

Melissa: Hey Izu i need to go now, but maybe we could chat later ?

Izuku: Sure thing Mel, we can talk later if you want, bye.

After a while Izuku arrives home, after entering Izuku sees his mother finishing the lunch.

"Hi mom, do you need help on finishing the lunch ?"Inko perks up after hearing Izuku voice and answers.

"Oh Izuku you are back, and there is no need, im almost done but if you want you could help me clean the dishes after the lunch."

Izuku then sits on the chair waiting for the dinner be ready, after a while Inko serves the dinner and sits on the chair as X and Z appears on their physical form as usual.

"So, how was today session ?" Inko knows that the therapy is making Izuku get better and getting more confidence, and while the therapy helps, she won't stop encoraging Izuku and be always there.

"It was nice, she says i'm much better than i was two months ago, and it feels...nice to have a friend once again that really cares about me."

"Melissa, wasn't it ? I can't wait to meet her when she comes to Japan, i need to know what she likes to eat, i would love to have a dinner with her here."

"Yeah, i'm gonna ask her what she likes some day, she is really cool, always reminding me of the online school and never rushes anything or pressures me to finish my part of the project."

Inko and Izuku stays talking while eating, and then after finishing Izuku helps Inko clear the dishes and then goes to his room with X and Z.

After entering his room Izuku sits on his chair and starts his online study from where he left off.

Just need to finish a few more things and i can send it to Mel, i believe i will finish it before going to sleep.

After a while he finishes his part of the project that he and Melissa are working and sends to Melissa and turns his computer off.

Izuku then lies on his bed, thinking about the double megamerge, and then X interrupts his thought.

"You are thinking about the megamerge, aren't you ?" Izuku then looks at X with an guilty expression.

"Sorry X, its just...i'm really curious about it. Yes, I know it might don't work, but i can't help but feel curious about it."

"Don't worry, i am curious about it too and so is Z, maybe at the training tomorrow we could try, your time at the normal megaman form is pretty good." Z then appears on the other side of Izuku.

"X is right, i was thinking of how it would work, but i need to remind you, if that works, it may tire you twice as fast than the normal megamerge."

"Yeah, you may be right, thanks Z, and you too X" Then both biometals disappears in a flash and Izuku closes his eyes, falling asleep quickly.

Yo, new chapter and finally timeskip, (even though it was only two months) and surprise! Izuku already befriended Melissa, and i'm thinking on making a Melissa PoV (Point of view) from the time All Might made his offer to her until she meets Izuku, should i do it ?

And yes, Dra Linda Colins is the name of the OC, as i said im bad with names, REALLY BAD, so dont be surprised if you think this OC name is bad, i didnt have anything else better to name her.

And i think im gonna change the name of this fic to something like:The ultimate hero:ZX or something like that, since this wont be Izuku hero name anymore.

Edit:Hello there, just a few more chaptes before i continue the main story, this chapter changed just to show a bit of what happened with Inko and Mitsuki friendship, don't know if it was a good idea but its already done.

Edit:(10/12/2023):Heya ! Changed a few things and took away the nicknames that X and Z had to Izuku, recently i started regreting creating those nicknames, it was one of the reasons i started to rewrite the old chapters.
