Yo, new chapter and this one may be the last chapter before the UA...and next one will have fighting...and i fear it wont be a good chapter due to not knowing how to write the fights and for having a bad english grammar (since english is not my first language).

And i forgot to wish happy new year for you all on the last chapter...sorry.

But in any case, i will wish on this one,(even if this one may come after a week or two after the new year) HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS !

Chapter 10

After a while, Melissa get up and dries her tears before smiling.

"Sorry about that Izuchan, i-i don't know what came over me to do this." Izuku shakes his head as he stands up.

"Don't apologise, you don't have to, that feeling of not being enough is familiar to me, but i will repeat what i told you, don't go thinking that you aren't enough, you already made a great progress by being able to use your quirk in a safe way, now all you need to do is focus on increasing the safe percentage until you can use it safely" Melissa nods while keeping her smile.

"Don't go saying all that without giving yourself more credit, without you i wouldn't have even an idea on where to start." And with those words, Izuku blushes and smiles, almost failing to keep his tears from falling, it's truly nice to be told that his notes are useful instead of creepy or a waste of time.

"T-thanks Melchan, it's nice to hear someone saying that they are useful, and that making thoses all my life weren't a waste." hearing that, X and Z can't help but feel angry at his old school, Izuku analises are pretty good, what he lacks in a quirk he more than make it up with his sharp mind, and just because he didnt have a quirk his old classmates and teachers didnt saw the immense talent he had for that.

"(Remember your notes are great, your old school was full of idiots that didn't saw your talents and only focused on your lack of quirk.)"

"(I know X, its just...feels so good to finally hear that something you liked to do for years was useful, after years being told that they were a waste of time, it's an incredible feeling.)"

"(I understand, theses months of therapy with Dra Linda made you more confident and Melissa is helping even more with that, your social skills are getting better and now someone other than us and your mom saw that your notes are great, but we are worried because you can and will regress to olds habits of doubting yourself, and our job is to make sure that wont happen, and if it happens then we will do our best to make you recover.)"

"(Thanks guys, i don't know what i did to deserve you two.)"

"(Don't worry partner, after everything that happened you deserve this and far more.)"

Melissa seeing that Izuku was spacing out moves her hand in front of him to snap him

"Hey Izuchan, did you hear what i told you ?" Blinking Izuku comes back to the talk and blushes for spacing out.

"S-sorry Melchan i didn't, what did you told me ?"

"What do you mean about someone saying your notes was a waste" At that Izuku freezes, he didn't mean to say that, but due to the fact that he was so happy because of his notes being useful he blurted that.

"U-uh i-i didn't mean that-"Melissa raises an eyebrow at that.

"Izuku, who told you that your notes are a waste ?" Izuku realises that there isn't a way out of this and decides to tell the truth later.

"I-i will explain, but please, can you wait until we finish the training, please ?" Izuku had hopes that she would forget about it when the training ended, Melissa narrow her eyes but decided to accept.

"Ok, but remember, you will tell me about that." Izuku nods and Melissa continues "So uh, what do you think i should do ?"

"Ok, now i believe you should...try moving on it, like kicking and punching or running, maybe after sometime you could slowly up the percentage, and then-" With that Izuku starts to write on his notebook and muttering while Melissa sweatdrops.

"Izuchan ? Izuku can you hear me ?" Izuku then stops his muttering, remembering about Melissa and the training.

"S-sorry, i need to stop my muttering habit." While Dra Linda helped with his confidence and self-depreciating thoughts, his muttering is still a work in progress.

"I already told you to not apologise, and what were you writing ?" Izuku then shows his notebook to Melissa before explaning.

"Here, maybe on theses days we could help you build stamina to stay on this form by making you run around and punching things to test your strength and speed at 5%, after a month training your stamina we could slowly up the percentage by 1 until you get at 100%" Melissa has wide eyes at that idea, he came with those ideas right now ? And he came with the idea to use her quirk safety without even seeing it in action ?

Izuku takes her silence as a no and starts to panic "B-but if you don't want to, then we could-" Before he could finish Melissa interrupt him.

"N-no no it's just...you had this idea right now ? And the idea to safely use my quirk...you never saw it in action so how did you came up with that ?"

Rubbing his head, Izuku answer "W-well, as i told you, i always loved writing about quirks, as you know i was a late bloomer but before getting my quirk i always dreamed of being a hero so i started analising fights and quirks my whole life, but i need to be honest, it was just a theory, i wasn't sure if it would work, and i was really afraid that maybe it would hurt you, but if i didn't know that you also were a late bloomer i would have thought that you had your quirk for years, your control was very good !" Melissa blushes at that praise, just like Izuku, she have trouble at receiving praises that isn't from her dad and she still is adapting to hear praises from her uncle.

"T-thanks Izuchan, but as i told you before, don't go and give me all the credit, you are a genius when the subject is quirks, you haven't even seen it in action and already came with all that !" Izuku face now resembles a tomato but he had a big smile on his face.

"T-thanks Melchan, but now i believe it's time to train." With that Melissa stretches while Izuku takes a few steps back as Melissa charges her quirk and red veins appears, after that the golden sparks appears while the red veins disappears.

After activating her quirk Melissa procceds to run and jump to test the speed of her quirk, and then punches and kick the air but after two minutes the golden sparks fades and Melissa sits on the ground while taking deep breaths.

Izuku slowly approaches her and sits at her side, waiting for her to catch some breath before talking.

Then, after a few minutes she speaks "Wow, moving with my quirk active takes a lot more than just standing still with it active."

"Yes, but don't worry, before UA you will have a lot more of mastery with it." Then Melissa remembers what she wanted to ask and this time she won't let him avoid it.

"Well Izuchan, do you remember that you told me that we would talk about...being happy that someone thinks that your notes aren't a waste ?" Izuku pales, should he tell her about the whole bullying or try and lie about it ?

"(Better tell her about it, you talked with her theses past months and made the projects of the online school with her while both me and Z saw it, i trust her, but the decision is yours.)" With X words, Izuku decides to tell her the full truth.

"O-ok Melchan, i will tell you everything about why i was happy about that, but it will take a while, because it started when i was 4 years old."

When Melissa gestures for him to go, Izuku takes a deep breath and explains about Bakugou when they still were friends, the promise that they made that Bakugou would be the number 1 hero and that Izuku would be his sidekick, the day his quirk appeared and how everyone at the daycare was impressed by it and started to tell him how great he would be if he became a hero, and even Izuku was pretty happy for him.

Melissa even thought it was cute that he called Bakugou 'kaachan', similar to how he gave her the nickname 'Melchan', and now she understand his reaction when she first called him Izuchan, but then Izuku told her that their friendship changed after Bakugou quirk came, and Izuku quirk didn't.

Izuku told her that their friendship took a blow due to he being quirkless, because they had promised each other that Bakugou would be the number 1 hero and Izuku would be his Sidekick.

But while their friendship took a blow because of that, what truly made their friendship end was the day Bakugou got hurt.

Izuku, Bakugou and his group found a florest and decided to explore, even when Izuku told them about the warning that told to not go to the florest.

After walking a bit inside the florest they found a area that had a river but it wasnt too high, and it had a log that could be used to cross the river, but Bakugou as the leader of the group was the first to go and we followed him after, but he was careless and he slipped and fell in the river, Bakugou and the other three were laughing, and Bakugou didnt appear to be hurt, but Izuku told her that he decided to run there and help him get up, he told her that his first thought was to help him, but he told her that he just slapped his hand away and told me to not look down on him.

And he almost forgot to mention that when he was told that he was quirkless, Bakugou came with another nickname for him, 'Deku' as 'the one who cant do anything'.

And after that day in the florest, he started to bully the other kids, he said it was because their quirks were weak, Izuku told her that he couldn't just let them get beat up for nothing, and even though he didn't have a quirk, he took the beating in their place, and every time he saw someone get bullied, Izuku ran to help and take the beating, and soon he became Bakugou main target of bullying, and it didn't matter if he told the teachers, they always would pretend that they didn't saw or would punish him for telling lies, because they couldn't risk mark Bakugou record and make him lose his chance at UA.

And then years have passed and school came, and Bakugou bullying got worse, Izuku told her that despite everything, he never gave up on being a hero and always said that would be one, and because of that, everyone at his school always mocked me, saying things like 'You, a useless Deku thinking of being a hero, don't make me laugh' or 'I can't believe someone like you could think that you have a chance to become a hero'.

Then Bakugou discovered his analises, Izuku told her that one day decided to make up by the fact he is quirkless and he started to watch the hero fights, at first it was to try and copy their fighting style, but then he started to see some flaws and mistakes that they did or better ways to use their quirks, and that skill was getting better and better until he could try and guess someone quirk and ways to use them better just by hearing what they do, and when Bakugou found out about his notes, he told the whole school about them and how creepy and a waste of time they were, Izuku told her that despite that he never gave up of them, he always thought they would be useful one day.

After telling about the notes he skipped some parts until he got at the fateful day.

He told her that he took one of his notebooks from him and used his quirk to destroy it when the school ended, and then told him to 'take a swan dive off the roof'.

At hearing the last part Melissa clench her fists, how could someone be so cruel, just because he didn't have a quirk just like her, and in a way she can understand him but she decided to let him continue.

"After leaving the school and going to home i was attacked by a villain with a slime quirk, i thought i would die there but then, All Might saved me." Izuku was curious by the fact that she didn't react as he thought she would when he mentioned All Might but he continues.

"I passed out and when i woke up All Might had sign my notebook and was going to take off but before he could, i needed to ask a question, i needed to be sure that maybe...someone would believe on me."

"The question i asked was 'Can someone without a quirk be a hero like you ?'" at hearing that, Melissa already knows the answer, she had asked the same question once to the same hero. But still, she hopes that she was wrong.

"He said no, that its too dangerous to be a hero without a quirk, that i would be better if i was something else, like a policeman or a medic."

Melissa can tell that having to tell all that its painful to him, and a part of her regret asking about that and making him relieve that pain, but the other part feels...happy, that now, she understand what happened and maybe could help him to forget theses days.

Her face may have shown what she was thinking because he started to panic a bit.

"B-but dont worry Melchan, i'm far better now, and that was month ago, after that day i started to seeing a therapist and now-" Whatever he was going to say next was cut off because she hugged him as tight as she could, and tried to comfort him.

"Izuchan, i-i'm so sorry, i never knew how hard it was for you, i just want you to know that you are my friend, i will be here forever for you, i don't care if you are quirkless or not, you are my best friend and that never is going to change." And with that, Izuku let the tears he was holding back fall and returns Melissa hug.

X and Z were watching that with sadness, they already heard all that when he told Inko everything but hearing again, just make their anger increase.

"(I still can't believe how can someone that wants to be a hero...do all that to someone without even a reason.)" X says, angry that his partner had to endure all that.

"(Indeed, a hero job is to protect the weak, how can he call himself a hero when all he does is hurt the weaker just because he can... it's like he is no different than a villain.)"

"(I just hope that he realises that and change, maybe its not too late for him, don't you think Z ?)" X asks hopeful, he thinks that maybe one day, he and Izuku could fight again but this time, as partners.

"(Its not impossible, but it will be pretty hard, i just hope UA is different and maybe they will change him, but i don't want to sound too hopeful.)"

"(I agree, but maybe they can help him, right ? I mean, UA is the best hero school for a reason, a bully wouldn't even go past the first year.)"

"(As i said, i don't want to be too hopeful to not be disappointed if UA isn't all that.)"

"(As always a pessimist.)" Z ignores that last comment and returns to watch Izuku and Melissa

After a while Izuku calm down and apologises to Melissa.

"Don't apologise, it's okay to cry after all that, and in a way i can understand how it feels to give up on a dream." At that Izuku can't help but feel curious.

"Did you got bullied too ?" Melissa nods with a frown.

"Yes, i was bullied but it wasn't as bad as your was." Izuku can tell that it's hard for her to talk about that.

"H-hey, if you dont want to talk about it then don't force yourself." Melissa laughs a bit before answering.

"Well, it's only fair i tell you about that since you told me about you, i just need a few seconds." Izuku nods and wait to Melissa start.

"W-well before i start i need to tell you something, my full name is Melissa Shield." It takes a few seconds for her name ring the bell and when it happens...

"Wait ! Do you mean Shield ?! Like David Shield ?! As the one who not only is the most important support item creator but also created All Might costumes and is known as All Might sidekick when he was in America ?!" Melissa couldn't help but giggle at Izuku outburst, she knows that he is an hero fanboy but she forgot that All Might is (or was) his favorite hero and he probably knows everything about him.

After realizing that, he blushes and sheepish scratches his head.

"S-sorry for that, i just was so excited, but i'm just curious about one thing, why you never told me about that ?"

"Its because... my former 'friends' were only my friends for two reasons, either because i was smart, so they were my friends only to get better grades or because i had money, every 'friend' i had weren't my friend at all. When i talked with you, i was scared that the same thing would happen." Izuku can see that Melissa is fearful about that, but he doesn't mind about her thinking that way when they first meet.

"i-i see, i can't blame you, you didn't even knew me when we first talked, and when we first meet in person i was also afraid that you would call my notes or my muttering creepy, so it's no problem for thinking like that." Melissa smiles, she is happy that he isn't mad at her for hiding that from him after all this time.

"But there is more, just like i told you before, at age 4 i was told that i was quirkless, but due to my father being David Shield, i wasn't bullied, but i wanted to be a hero, just like you did, and when i told that to everyone they started to whisper things about my dream, saying things like 'She is quirkless, why is she trying to be a hero without a quirk, she will just get killed' or 'Why doesn't she try to be like her father, a great support creator.' and they even tried to dissuade me from being a hero, but i never gave up." Izuku nods and gestures for her to continue.

"Due to being quirkless but being rich and smart, your friends aren't really your friends, as i told you, they befriended me but they always said 'Hey lets hang out guys, Melissa is paying' or 'Hey Melissa, can you join our group in this project.' but i was a kid, i didn't noticed, i only noticed one day when they were at the school gates and were talking, i was going to join them but when i heard what they said about me i just...ran away crying to home and i told my father about everything, the whispers, that everyone tried to talk me out from my dream of being a hero to be a support creator like him, and the final straw that my friends were only friends with me because i was smart and daughter of the biggest inventor of I-Island."

"And after i told him everything, he told me he would transfer me to another school, but...i was scared that the same thing would happen, so i asked him to let me try online school, and he agreed, and it was nice, no one knew if i had a quirk or not so there was no whispers or anything similar, but i didn't want to try and befriend someone, i was scared so i always made my projects alone."

Izuku can understand that, after getting out of Aldera and got into online school, it was far better than Aldera, he didn't had fear the verbal bullying or being pranked or even Bakugou physical bullying, and he didnt even had to fear someone calling him out if he started to write notes or muttering ideas, and the teachers were far more patient with him when he asked a question.

"And some time later...All Might came to visit my father." At hearing that, Izuku perks up, he knew that David Shield and All Might were friends once and David was even considered All Might first sidekick, but he didn't knew if they still talked with each other.

Noticing his reaction by the last part she giggles "Yeah, he and dad still are friends, and they haven't talked with each other for a while, and that was the first time i meet him, i always was a fan, but i didn't knew about dad being his first sidekick, and just like you i had asked him the same question you asked." While Izuku knows the answer and the question, doesn't stop him from being sad for her, that day was the worst for him, his idol and greatest inspiration crushed his dreams, he was lost without knowing what to do, if it wasn't for X, this day would be far different than now.

"And he said no, that it's already dangerous and very hard be a hero with a quirk, so being a hero without one would be impossible, he told me that i would be better being a support creator, just like dad, he even praised some of my hero suits, said that it would be pretty useful for others heroes." Izuku winces, he already knew the answer, but he doesn't wish what he felt that day to no one, especially to his best friend.

"But it's okay, at time i didnt even trained my body, and he was right in a way, a hero jobs isn't a game or fun, lives are at stake, and not even All Might is invencible."

'I know that more than you think Mel' Izuku thinks, he knew that due to that day at rooftop when he saw All Might skinny form, and he still respected the man greatly so he would take that secret to his grave.

"I think that it was progressive today, wasn't it Izuchan ?" Melissa says, trying to change the subject, Izuku nods as they both get up.

"Yeah, we kinda got distracted from the training, but at least we know each other more, and we even know what to do with your quirk now Melchan, so it was progressive."

"So, can we meet here tomorrow to train again ?"

"S-sure, maybe we could also spar a little with and without our quirks, maybe it could help both of us." With a nod, Melissa and leaves while waving to Izuku and Izuku does the same, today they had to relieve painful days but now, they can understand each other better and their friendship grows stronger than ever.

And so the days passed and both Melissa and Izuku made progress with their training, Melissa could hold the form (that Izuku suggested calling it full cowl) for 45 minutes at 5% and if she extended it to 10% then she could hold it for 5 minutes before it started to hurt her body, and she could use 20% but it would hurt from the moment she started to use.

Izuku had even shown his megaman forms to Melissa, and she was truly fascinated by his armor and they even suggested a spar at the same florest Izuku told Melissa about, but they decided to not use much power, or else they could hurt each other badly or may destroy the florest so Izuku had restrict himself to the safe mode and only to punchs and kicks and Melissa decided to try and adapt her body to at least 10% so they spar to try and have some experience when fighting. When they first fought, Melissa had slipped the percentage of her quirk, sometimes without meaning to, instead of using a 5% punch, it would be 7% or even 10% but after a while she managed to fully control the full cowl, and Izuku is leading the results of the fights due to the fact that Melissa not being able hold the 10% for too much time at first so Izuku would win due to her body giving out and causing the full cowl to disappear.

And so the weeks passed and Izuku, with X and Z telling him to ask Melissa to meet Inko, gathered courage and asked if Melissa wants to take a break from training and then asked if she wanted to go to his house and meet his mother, Inko always told Izuku that she wants to meet his new best friend, and Melissa agreed to meet her.

"So Izuku, when did Melissa said she would come ?" Inko says while finishing the lunch and Izuku finished cleaning the table.

Looking at the clock Izuku sees that Melissa is arriving soon "I believe she is coming in 10 minutes mom." Hearing that, Inko takes the food from the oven and places at the table.

"I hope she likes this, since i don't know what her favorite food is, i made a few different dishes, what do you think Izuku ?" Inko knows that Melissa is american, so she decided to make some foods that Melissa might like.

"I believe she will love it, your cooking is awesome mom." Izuku says with a big smile, his mother food is the best he have eaten, especially the katsudon.

"Oh thank you Izuku, but anyone can do theses food, my food its not that special." Izuku, X and Z disagrees with Inko but only Izuku voices it.

After a few minutes, they hear someone knocking on the door, Izuku goes to open and sees Melissa there, with an smile.

"Hi Izuchan !" Melissa says before hugging him, despite being friends with Melissa for weeks and even sparing with her, he still blushes at the contact.

"Hi Melchan, welcome to my home" He says while returning the hug with a blush.

Melissa feels a delicious smell coming from inside, and Izuku seeing that decides to invite her to enter. Then she sees a small woman with green hair like Izuku, it wasn't too hard to know that she is his mother.

"Hello Miss Midoriya, My name is Melissa Shield, Izuku friend" Melissa says politely and bowing slight.

Inko giggles a bit seeing that Melissa is a bit nervous "Hello dear, My name is Inko, and feel free to call me that, Izuku told me a lot of things about you." Melissa relax a bit after hearing that.

"Feel free to sit on the table, i didn't knew what you like so i made some japonese food for you to taste, feel free to eat." Melissa smiles and they both sits at the table and prepares their plates to eat.

And after a while they started to talk a lot, they talked about how it is to live in japan and Melissa even told how it is to live in I-island. Inko even told a few stories from when Izuku was a little kid, like how he always liked wearing his All Might onesie, and they both pretend that Izuku was All Might going to rescuse her, making Melissa laugh and Izuku blush so hard that he wondered if he was bleeding.

And then Inko got a bit serious before asking.

"Melissa, Izuku told me that you are planning to go to UA and become a hero with him, right ?" Melissa nods, making Inko continue

"Can i ask you something Melissa ?" Melissa, seeing Inko face of fear and determination, nods.

"Can you please help Izuku when you both go to UA, i know how Izuku is smart and strong, but i can't help but worry about him, it always was his dream to be a hero and i will always support him, but doesn't mean i won't worry. Being a hero is dangerous so please, can you promise me that you will protect him ?" Izuku and Melissa can see that tears are almost falling from Inko eyes, and even if she didn't ask that, Melissa still would do her best to protect Izuku, she won't leave her best friend alone.

"Inko, i know that a hero job isn't safe and there will be times that we can't be sure if we will win. But i promise that i will do my best to help Izuku and protect him." Hearing this calms Inko heart, she won't stop worrying about him, but she can feel a bit more at ease since there will be someone helping him on his path as a hero.

And so, they continued to talk and Izuku had even shown Melissa his notebooks and they even discussed a few ideas for hero costumes with Melissa even pointing some others ideas for him to use on his hero costume.

And after while Melissa had to leave, it was a nice day off from training, and Inko even comments to Izuku that she liked Melissa and even teased Izuku telling him that if she wanted to date him, she had her blessing, leaving the poor boy almost as red as a tomato and spluttering a lot.

And then the days passed and they were training more than ever for the exams, but they decided that the last day before the exams they would relax a bit, to be rested for the UA.

"Tomorrow is the day for the exams, right Izuku ?" Dra Linda says, those weeks have improved Izuku confidence even more, and she was happy to know that he had a friend to talk, it helps with his recovery to have someone at the same age as him to talk.

"Yes, i'm a bit nervous about it, even with all this training i feel like it may not be enough." Theses lasts days training with Melissa helped him to improve fighting without his sword or his buster, and even without his megaman form in case he uses the ZX form and be unable to transform.

"It's normal to be nervous for this, it's a big step closer to achieve your dream, right ?" Izuku nods and Dra Linda continues "But remember, you made a great progress on theses last months, you trained really hard for it, and if you feel nervous again and start to panic, take deeps breaths and focus, it won't be easy, but you can do it, i will be rooting for you."

Izuku smiles at her "Thank you Dra Linda, i will do my best to pass the UA exam." Dra Linda smiles. But still, there is something else that she needs to ask.

"But Izuku i need to ask, how do you feel knowing that Mr Bakugou will be there ?" Izuku smiles fades away and is replaced by a frown, he never forgot about Bakugou and he knows that he will be there, after all he still wants to be the number 1 hero.

"I-i don't know Dra Linda, after leaving Aldera i didn't saw Bakugou again, i don't know if i still fear him or if i'm gonna be able to face him, but i need to try, being a hero means that sometimes you need to face your fears." Dra Linda nods, happy that Izuku may be able to face his former bully.

"I see, i believe thats ends today session." Dra Linda gets up and Izuku does the same, but then Dra Linda smiles and says.

"Izuku, i wish you good luck at the exam, not only for you but also to your friend Melissa, and remember, if you ever feel nervous about it, remember that you trained a lot for both parts of the exam, you are as prepared as you could be, and even if you somehow fail, you still will have your chance at the sport festival, goodbye Izuku, and good luck once again." Izuku beams at her, the person who had made his confidence return and helped him with his problems and still tries to help in any way she can.

"Thank you Dra Linda, for everything you did to me on theses months, i know that i still have a long way until i'm completely healed about all that happened, and i know that you will be rooting for me at both the UA exam and sport festival, and that you will be there for me all the way until i'm completely fine, thank you Dra Linda." Dra Linda smile turns into a grin, she knows now, that he will be a great hero.

Izuku then turns to leave while waving at Dra Linda and she waves back, and after leaving Izuku feels lighter, he doesn't feel nervous about tomorrow, and he will get into UA alongside Melissa, be it tomorrow or at the sport festival but he will.

"(And we will be there to help you along the way partner, don't forget that.)" Izuku smiles, remembering about the two who made his dream be possible, and hearing X words only made him more confident on passing.

Z sensing his emotions needs to remind him "(Confidence is good Zuku, but remember to not be overconfident or cocky, every single person that was cocky or overconfident failed their objetives.)" Izuku knows that, that's why he will do his best when the exam happen, be it easy or not, it wont stop him.

"(I know Z, thats why i'm gonna go with all i got, be it easy or not, i will do my best !)" Izuku may have the impression that both of them are smiling at him, even though they doesn't have mouths.

"(Thats the spirit partner/Izuku)" they both say at the same time, making him chuckle a little.

On his way back home he passes at dagobah and sees Melissa there, and it looks like she is waiting for him, he runs at her, waving.

"Melchan ! How are you !?" Melissa, hearing Izuku voice, sees him coming at her running and waving, she runs to meet him excited to talk with him.

"Hey Izuchan ! How was the therapy today ?" After that day at Takoba Izuku told her how Dra Linda is, and she is happy that he is recovering mentally after all that.

"Pretty good, she wished good luck for both of us." Melissa thanks the doctor on her head because she is pretty nervous about tomorrow.

"I need to thank her after i see her one day. But Izuku i need to ask, how do you feel about tomorrow ? Aren't you nervous ?" Izuku shakes his head, leaving Melissa surprised, she thought that he would be even a little bit nervous, but it doesn't seems like it.

"Yeah, but even thought i am nervous, i need to do my best at the exam, and even if i fail, there is the sport festival, meaning i'm gonna train twice as hard for it." Melissa nods, she almost forgot that they still can be transfered to the hero course by doing well on the festival.

"Hey Melchan what about the full cowl ? Did you managed to use the 10% safely ?" Izuku knew that the last time he saw her using it, she was still trying to adapt her body to 10% by staying still and making the percentage slowly go up, it was pretty well at the beginning, but now he doesn't know how her progress is going.

"Yes, i can use 10% for 10 minutes before it starts to hurt, but i believe i will stick to the 5% at the beginning, and only use 10% after half of the exam have passed, just to be sure that i won't colapse from the strain." In Izuku head it makes sense, better be safe than sorry.

"Well, i believe its time to go, bye Melchan and see you tomorrow at the exams" Izuku says while waving which Melissa does the same and they both go to their homes.

After a few minutes, Izuku managed to get home just in time to see his mother finishing the dinner, when she notices him she smiles.

"Hello Izuku, how it was today ?" Izuku, knowing that his mother was talking about the therapy, smiled.

"It was pretty good, she wished me good luck at the exam tomorrow and even helped me to not be nervous about it." Inko smiles at that, Dra Linda was truly a blessing, her son now smiles more than ever, his stutter isn't a common thing anymore, and he even have a good friend to help him along the way, she can even feel the tears in her eyes.

And maybe she wasn't able to hold them back, because Izuku runs to calm her down. "What's wrong mom ? Why are you crying ?" Izuku panics at first, why is she crying if there is nothing wrong, but then he sees that she is smiling.

"Oh Izuku, there is nothing wrong, it's just... i'm so happy for you, you have a friend, and you are far happy than that day when you were told you were quirkless, it fills my heart with so much joy." Even thought Izuku had forgiven her and she promised herself to never let that mistake repeat itself, it's still on her mind, that day when Izuku had his dream broken. And instead of comforting him, instead of supporting him, she had failed and cried alongside him, and didn't even tried to comfort him.

Her thoughts must have shown in her face, because Izuku suddenly hugs her and says "Mom, i may be happier than ever i was since that day, but you too have to take credit. Sure, the school was the worst time of the day for me, but after the school i was back here, to this place where i feel safe, and you gave me all the love i needed all theses years, that's why i'm gonna become the best hero i can and do my best to come back home safe, i promise." And with that, Inko let her tears out, she knew that her son never resent her for that day, he made it clear when they talked to each other months ago, but to hear it again leaves her heart with so much happiness.

After all that, Inko had calmed herself and finished the dinner, and after eating, Midoriya had wished his mother a good night and had gone to his room to change and get ready to sleep.

After changing his clothes to a more comfortable one, he brushed his teeth and took a bath, and lied on his bed, but before going to sleep, his two partners appeared.

"Hey partner, tomorrow let's do our best at that exam, we trained all those months, so we will pass that exam, right ?" X knows how much his partner wants to be a hero, and theses months, both biometals got attached to him, that's why X will do his best to make his partner ace this exam

"Exactly, but remember X, on the written part, no cheating, Izuku have studied a lot, so we will just watch, right ?" X didn't say anything about that, but he feels that X was thinking on helping him at the written part by cheating.

And Izuku agrees with Z "Z is right, if i let you help me then i may develop bad habits, its like we had agreed, on the field you two can help me by warning about my enemies at my blind spots, but at training its better if i do it alone." X reluctantly accepts.

"Well, better go to sleep, or else you may wake up sleepy, or worse you may miss it, good night." X says before disappearing.

"I agree with him, the more you rest, the better, good night." Z then disappears, allowing Izuku to sleep.

But what the trio didnt knew, was that they would be seeing each other soon, but not where they expected.

When Izuku fell asleep, he had awoken on the same void he had when he used the ZX form, looking around he found X and Z, and ran to them.

"X ! Z ! Are you guys alright ?" Hearing their partner voice, they look around until they see him coming at them.

"What happened ? one moment we were inside your mind, but in the next we suddenly are here."

But before Izuku could try to answer Z question, an familiar voice made themselves know.

"I believe that's because of me." Turning around, the trio meets an young woman with green eyes, long hair tied in a long ponytail, with a blue jacket and white shorts, but the most interesting thing is that her skin is covered in a black cloth, the same way that Izuku skin stays covered when he megamerges.

"Who are you ?" Izuku doesn't know if he can even win, or if is a dream or not, but he won't go down without a fight.

Meanwhile, both X and Z are frozen in place, that girl seems almost the same as the one that had megamerged with them, but she seems more mature than the one in the vision. But even so, they feel like they had meet her before.

The woman giggles a bit at Izuku "Calm down, i'm not here to harm you Midoriya."

Hearing that only makes Izuku more suspicious of her.

"How do you know my name ?" Izuku may appear to not be scared outside, but inside, his mind is going overdrive with questions and fear, he doesn't know who she is, or where they are, or what quirk she has.

"Izuku, believe she is telling the truth, i don't think she want to harm us." Hearing X words makes Izuku relax a bit, but he still doesn't want to trust her.

X seeing that continues "If she wanted to hurt us then she would have done it already, and if you pay attention, she is similar to the teen we saw last time in the vision, that means that she was our past holder, am i right ?" Izuku has wide eyes, now paying attention he can see the how the woman in front of him appears to be very similar to the teen he saw.

Realizing that, Izuku relax a bit more, Z then tries to get answers "You were the same person that told Izuku to not use the ZX form, right ?" The woman nods and Z continues "And if what X says is right, then you were the one we had choosen before, right ?" Another nod.

Then Z ask his last question "Then can you tell us, who are you and what exactly happened to our memories ?" after saying that the woman face gets a bit more serious.

"I can tell you a little about myself and what i know, i will try to tell what is useful and what i know about you two, if needed i can tell more later if you want, ok ?" Izuku nods and the woman takes a deep breath.

"My name is Aile, and i was the previous holder of both Biometal X and Biometal Z, and the former Megaman ZX".

And Aile finally appeared officialy, and with that, the story of how X and Z came to bnha world maaaaay be revealed on the next chapter.

Out of curiosity, how does the beta reader system works ? just a little curious about it.

And i dont even know how to write the romantic part beetween Melissa and Izuku, i dont know if i should try and make Melissa or Izuku confess to each other after USJ, or after the Sport Festival, or after the training camp, I DONT KNOW, AAAAA.
