To make it up to ya guys, I have added links to references of Hikari's Keyblade and her new outfit that she receives in this chapter at the end, both drawn by cousin, NoneToon. Enjoy and please, no flames~!

"So you're Kairi. It's nice to meet you."

Kairi smiled and shook my offered hand. "King Mickey told me about what you did; Thank you."

I thought I saw Naminé instead of Kairi for a moment, but when I blinked, the vision passed. I pushed the thought aside and nodded my head. "It's a good thing I was there; otherwise Lea would have burned you along with the Heartless," I teased.

I heard Lea sigh from just outside the bedroom, for which Kairi and I both laughed.

"Kairi," I began once the giggles had left me. When Kairi looked at me with a curious face, I continued. "I promise I'll save Sora and Riku."

Kairi nodded. "The King said that that was your mission. Do you have any idea where they might be?"

My thoughts immediately went to the vision I had earlier that day of Riku in that dungeon, but I wasn't going to tell of it just yet. "I have a theory about Riku's location, but as for Sora, I'm clueless. Sorry," I stated.

"It's alright. I know you'll find them, and you'll have The King and Lea to help you," Kairi reassured.

Just then, Mickey himself walked into the room. "Hikari; Master Yen Sid wishes to see you. Are you ready for travel?"

"Wait; now?" I exclaimed.

Mickey nodded.

"I-I guess." I turned back to Kairi and asked, "Are you okay with staying here with Leon and the others?"

"I'll be fine, don't worry," she replied.

I smiled and my eyes returned to Mickey. "Alright, let's go."

The mouse nodded and smiled as well.

Once we had said our good-byes, boarded The King's Gummi Ship, and were on our way to The Mysterious Tower, Mickey went on explaining what he had told Yen Sid and what I should elaborate further with him.

About half-way into the ride, I noticed that Lea was white as a ghost. "What's wrong, Lea?" I asked.

He was taking deep breaths and his eyes were closed tight. "I don't do well in cramped spaces," he muttered.

"Don't even think about losing your lunch in here," a squeaky voice stated.

"Ya, we just cleaned it," pipped in another.

I probably jumped a good foot in my seat when I heard the two new voices.

King Mickey simply laughed. "Sorry; I guess I forgot to introduce our engineers."

A screen on the dash board turned on and I met two more of the many cartooned-animals to come. Two chipmunks -one ordinary looking not eh left and the other with a big red nose on the right- stood at attention, several gears and whistling contraptions in the background.

"I'm Chip, the chipmunk on the left stated.

"And I'm Dale," the red-nosed one introduced.

"This ship runs on smiles," Chip explained. "So don't forget to smile."

I did so and nodded my head. "Kinda hard not to. Things only seem to get more and more interesting."

Chip and Dale's eyes lit up with excitement and laughed as well, then hurried with checking the machinery.

I simply just looked ahead at the grand expanse of The Lanes Between. Somewhere out there, my loved ones and fellow Keyblade Wielders were lost, prisoners of the Heartless, and I was the only one that could save them. Silently, I made a promise; Whatever happens, I will do everything in my power to bring my family and friends home.

We soon landed and when the hatch opened, Lea bolted out. Mickey and I, on the other hand, were more patient and calmly walked out. When I turned around to look at the tower, my breath was taken away.

The Mysterious Tower was a bizarre yet incredible winding, golden-brown tower that had several different spires jutting out like a tree's branches. The tops had blue cone-shaped paneled roofs, golden stars and crescent moons decorating them, and windows with warm yellow light coming from inside. Several tall pine trees surrounded the tower, and several other islands that seemed to float on nothing but the clouds themselves could be seen in the distance.

"Incredible," I said in a hushed voice of awe.

"Come on, Hikari. We can't keep Master Yen Sid waiting," Mickey called from the tower doors.

I hurried inside, composing myself as I prepared myself for what might happen next upon meeting the sorcerer.

Sitting behind a large oak table in a chair with a large spine was a grey-bearded man adorned in a large blue robe and wearing a pointy, blue hat with golden stars and moons similar to the ones that decorated the outer part of the tower. His eyes were sharp and seemed to hold many years of wisdom and experiences. A very calm and collected look was planted on his face.

I bowed my upper half in respect. "It is an honor to meet you, Master Yen Sid."

"As it is for me, Hikari," Yen Sid replied. "Mickey has told me much about you and your heroic deeds in Radiant Garden."

I straightened up and smiled. "Thank you, sir."

Master Yen Sid nodded. "Could you please summon your Keyblade?"

I dipped my head, then held out my hand and summoned my Keyblade so that it was parallel with the ground. There was a slight strain in my shoulder but nothing unbearable.

Master Yen Side studied my weapon for a moment, then looked back at me. "I have one more request; Do you have more than one form?"

That certainly wasn't what I had expected, and for a while I was silent.

Lea, who was leaning against a bookcase, coughed to get my attention. When I looked at him, he made a flapping gesture with his hands and I immediately understood.

My Keyblade vanished as I brought my arm down, and a second later, my wings appeared and my clothes were replaced with the blue gown.

The sorcerer's eyes grew wide a little in surprise, but then returned to normal. He then began to wave his hands around and a large book magically floated onto the desk in from of him. It opened up, a mysterious wind swiping through several faded pages, until it stopped on perhaps the most golden entry. "Not a few days ago, this page was completely blank," Yen Sid explained. The book rose into the air once more and turned around so that it was right-side up.

I looked at the page and my eyes grew wide; a perfect drawing of my Keyblade was sketched onto the page, runes I didn't recognize written beside it.

"But as you can see, that is no longer the case," the sorcerer finished.

I swallowed a lump in my throat. "W…What does it say?"

"In a time of Darkness, three wielders of the great Keyblade will vanish, and the worlds long since separated in the Keyblade War will begin to flood with shadows. An ancient power will be awakened from its long slumber and gift a pure-hearted soul the strength to control Light and Darkness and they alone can bring the worlds and the three wielders back from the black abyss." Master Yen Sid got up and walked over to the window directly behind his chair. "This prophecy is most troubling."

"You're telling me," I muttered, returning to my normal self. "So what you're saying is that I'm the one spoken of in the prophecy that received the ancient power?"

"Correct." Master Yen Sid turned back to me. "You and that Keyblade have incredible power from what I managed to decipher. It is called the Angel's Keyblade and you alone can wield it."

"But don't let overwhelm you," Lea commented. "You only have to save everyone from Darkness."

I gave him a dirty look and tapped my head where his stitches were located, then pointed to my mouth. Lea immediately got the hint and closed his mouth.

Yen Sid cleared his throat, bringing my attention back to him. "Lea makes a good point; You cannot fall under pressure at any moment for any reason. Mickey told me how dedicated you are to the mission that has been laid out for you, which comforts me to know you have no intention of failing."

I nodded. "It's not just Sora, Riku, and all the other worlds though, sir. I was separated from my family and I know they're out there somewhere, I'm just not sure if they're safe or not." I summoned my Keyblade once more and looked down at it. "I've been given this chance and there's no way I'm backing out now… I already promised Riku."

"You met Riku? How!?" Mickey exclaimed.

I looked at the others who were wide eyes with surprise and curiosity when I realized what I had said. I sighed heavily. "Back at Radiant Garden, after I had healed one of Lea's friends, I passed out. While I was unconscious, I had several visions." I then went on to explaining to them the things I had seen of Master Aqua and who was confirmed was Terra, as well as the visions of who I was positive was Sora, Riku, and Kairi nearly two years before. Master Yen Sid remained silent and simply listened, nodding every so often. "The last vision I think my spirit traveled to another world, like when I had first met Master Aqua. I was in what seemed like a dungeon cell and I saw Riku. He appeared sad and defeated, but when he saw me, his eyes seemed to spark with a new hope. But before I could say anything to him, a raven came down at me and I woke up," I finished.

"Maleficent," King Mickey said with frustration, pounding a fist into his other hand. "I should've known she had something to do with this."

"There's one other thing," I added reluctantly. "Before we left Radiant Garden, I talked with Naminé and she said back on the islands, a man in a black coat took Sora into a dark portal."

Hearing this, Master Yen Sid stroked his beard. "So, Xehanhort has begun to make his move. It seems the prophecy is already spinning into action."

"Xehanhort? Who's that?" I asked. Judging by the looks they had all given me, I knew it was going to be a long night.

To make a long story short, Xehanhort was the cause of all the terrible things that had happened over the expanse of the last dozen years. His actions had led to the disappearances of Master Aqua, Terra, and a boy named Ventus, and his Heartless was responsible for Riku falling to Darkness and his Nobody was the original leader of Organization XIII.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much time for me to evaluate this new information. I had to prepare for my journey; so while Master Yen Sid gathered several items I would need for my journey, I was sent into another room where three fairies -Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather- made me an outfit more suitable for travel. They argued for quite a while at first, but I eventually stepped in and stopped the quarreling by giving them an idea that they could all agree on and with the flick of their wands, my old street-clothes were replaced with more travel-worthy clothing.

The outfit consisted of a light-blue shirt that fit my torso perfectly. The left sleeve was white as snow while the other was pitch black, and a hood of a dark navy-blue was attached. I had grayish-blue cargo pants that tucked into my black and white boots that stopped just about my calves and a silk black belt to hold it up. A golden keychain of a simple cross was hooked on the side of my belt and I wore two bracelets; a golden one with wings carved into it around my left wrist and a black and white checkered band around my right wrist.

I marveled in my new wardrobe for a while, then thanked the three fairies and returned to the main room. Master Yen Sid was the only one in the room, looking out his window.

"Where's the King and Lea?" I asked, looking around.

The sorcerer turned towards me. "Mickey has gone off to check on the condition of the other worlds, and I sent Lea on a special mission," he stated.

"Oh." I was upset to here this and that I hadn't had the chance to say good-bye, but then I reminded myself that we would see one another soon. On that thought, I smiled to myself slightly and returned my focus to the task ahead.

Master Yen Sid nodded his head and walked back to his desk. He sat in his tall chair and pushed a drawstring pouch of a royal blue and decorated exactly like his hat towards me. "Some healing items and spells are inside," he explained. "They will help you on your journey."

I bowed my head and took the pouch. "Thank you."

He nodded. "I wish you the best of luck, young Keyblade wielder."

I bowed once more, then walked out of the tower. I summoned my wings and rose into the sky, entering the portal and heading onto The Roads Between.

"This is quite the predicament."

"Take this seriously you old coot! She can pose as a threat to all that we've worked for!"

"That may be, but she's only a mere child, unaware of what she's getting involved in. She may prove quite useful."

"The Darkness within her is strong, but she has a tight grip on it. Perhaps if we-"

"No."

"But her power reached beyond what we could have hoped for. Surely-"

"No one is to interfere with the path fate has set out for her. Rest assured, she will fail, but not by our hands. Let us all be patient and enjoy the show."

Lea silently hurried away from his place just outside the white room and hurried inside the portal he had created with his Keyblade. Once the doorway closed behind him, realization of how serious the situation at hand was began to kick in.

"This can't end well," Lea muttered to himself.
