Day of the exams
Jiraiya was standing with Naruto in the backyard as he patted the blond on the head and gave him a Senju bean.
"Looks like you've learned to add your wind chakra to the Rasengan successfully. But remember, your full power is only to be used in emergencies. You could do some serious damage if you unleash your full potential" the adoptive father said
"Right, and I'll only use Kurama's power when necessary" Naruto said
"Right. And don't worry about your opponent, because you've done everything you can to be prepared for this. I believe in you my son"
They nodded as they walked towards the Senju compound. Jiraiya was confident in his son's abilities as he held a confident smirk. Naruto matched his look in confidence as he walked with him. Unlike his other opponents, he was very nervous against Son Gohan. He defeated him in the forest of death and he was a bit frightened by his prospects of using more Kurama's power. Even though he and the fox were on good terms, he couldn't control over 3 tails of the 9. He saw his grandfather, grandmother, Mito and Tsunade as he walked up to them. He also saw Mina, Fune, Akari and Vegeta waiting for him.
"You'd better make it past your fight so we can have our battle" she said confidently
"You know it!" Naruto said
Soon they were off to the stadium as a family. While on their way, they saw multiple foreign dignitaries and civilians ignoring them like regular people. Naruto felt a bit relieved as he wasn't glared at by the villagers and shinobi. He felt like things were getting better with the villagers and his status as a ninja.
"Looks like things are really popping off around here" Kenji said
"Be aware Kenji, we've got an invasion in coming" Trunks said
"Relax you two, we'll be fine as long as everyone stays on point" Fune said
Soon they came upon the stadium and they walked inside. The two Namikaze children were separated from the clan as they made their way into the area. They were a bit shocked at the large crowd of citizens in the viewing area. There was the Daimyo, the Kage, the regular citizens, other contestants and the ninja of the Sand, Stone and Leaf.
Son Wukong sat next to Hiruzen Sarutobi and Rasa of the Desert in the Kage booth. They watched as the crowd began to cheer for the competitors loudly as they made their way to the battle space in the round coliseum like arena.
"Looks like they're all here." Wukong said in excitement
"Hmmm, this is true" Hiruzen said
"Yes. It seems like it's time to start, eh Hokage?" Rasa asked
Hiruzen smirked and nodded and stood, walking to the front of the Kage box
"Citizens of The Hidden Leaf and the Land of Fire, we have gathered today to watch our nation's do battle and make their homelands proud. They have gone through extreme training to get here. I know they will not disappoint us. Let us enjoy a sight to see as we witness the strength of the next generation of shinobi!" He said as he finished and went back to sit down.
"And now I'll get to see how much Gohan has progressed" Wukong said
Suddenly he looked down at Naruto and smirked.
"So he had another son eh?"
Hiruzen nodded as put some tobacco in his smoking pipe. He used a snap of a finger and lit a small flame and took a puff blowing out smoke as Ebisu stood in the middle with the other candidates.
"Alright, everyone out of the ring, we're beginning the 1st match, Naruto Namikaze versus Son Gohan" he said
Naruto stood before Gohan in a different uniform. He had a blue haori with the Uzumaki symbol in red on the back, a white undershirt, black pants, white ankle wraps and black martial arts shoes. He had his headband wrapped around his right bicep.
Gohan wore an orange gi with a blue undershirt along with orange pants and blue boots with lines going down the middle. He had a serious look in his eyes as he began to exude a dangerous amount of ki. Naruto began to emit a serious blue aura as he looked into Gohan's eye with a confident look on his face.
"Are you ready?" Ebisu asked
They both smirked and nodded at one another as the ground beneath their feet cracked and splintered as debris and dust kicked up.
"Fight!" Ebisu said as he jumped backwards from the two combatants
Gohan and Naruto disappeared and reappeared clashing across the battlefield creating craters and cracks amid the arena surface. Naruto dodged a spinning kick and then another spinning back fist. Soon he jumped back pulling out a handful of shuriken, channeling wind and lightning chakra into them and threw them at Gohan, who dodged and held his hand out as a pulse of invisible ki at his opponent sending him flying as he body flickered behind him and to his surprise Naruto flipped and kicked off the ground creating 50 shadow clones.
Gohan smirked as a blue aura flickered around him and it seemed as if time stopped and he defeated all the shadow clones causing them all to puff into smoke. He reappeared behind Naruto and performed a double axe fist attack smashing him in the back sending him crashing into the ground. His body created a deep crater causing dust and smoke to kick up debris.
Naruto flipped over and saw Gohan coming towards him. Naruto lifted up his left hand and created a Rasengan as he yelled
"Rasengan Flash!"
A blue beam of energy shot out at Gohan causing him to dodge with grace. He looked down to see Naruto leaving the crater he was knocked into barrelling towards his location in the sky. Naruto spun imitating Gohan's earlier movements, surprising him as he dodged a spinning kick and a spinning back fist. Naruto created a shadow clone and flung it at Gohan with a drop kick to the stomach sending him flying across the sky, then he rebounded with a smirk on his face. Gohan lunged at Naruto bypassing the clone with practiced ease and sent a fist at Naruto who dodged and grabbed his wrist, flipping Gohan over him and sending him flying to the ground, to make a crater, kicking up dust, smoke and debris. Naruto smirked and landed across from the crater he sent him crashing into.
"Heh, guess I'm not as weak as you thought" he said with a confident gaze in his eyes as he got into his Killing Fist stance.
A burst of earth exploded behind Naruto who whirled around and blocked a punch that caused the wind to shift around them both. Naruto kicked Gohan away, sending flying across the arena grounds. Gohan skid across the ground and caught himself from skidding. He stood up, brushing the dirt off his clothes and brushing a bit of blood off his bottom lip.
In the stands:
Jiraiya was watching the battle with a keen eye with Tsunade, Mito, Kenji, Noridasu, Kenji, Fune and Akari.
"Seems like the boy is doing well, for now. Apparently, he said he wasn't even doing this good against him in the forest of death" Jiraiya said
"Well, luckily for me things are looking good for now."
"Lemme guess, you placed a bet?" Jiraiya said with a sweat rolling down his forehead.
She nodded in affirmation at him, while 9 year old Mito was watching while cheering her adoptive older brother on.
"GO NARUTO! GO NARUTO! GO NARUTO!" she yelled
Kenji sat with his arms folded watching Naruto with a keen eye.
'Heh, I was right to step up his taijutsu and ki sensing abilities. No wonder he had trouble against Gohan. The kid is clever.' he said with a serious gaze on his face
Back in the battle:
Naruto was dodging several punches and elbow strikes from his opponents. He was letting him get his attacks in as Gohan added kicks and knees into his barrage. Naruto smirked as he ducked a kick and blocked another kick with his knee. They began to fight at a lightning speed and they began to body flicker around the arena creating craters and explosions throughout the battlefield. Naruto caught Gohan's fist as he redirected the momentum of the attack, moving to the side tripping him, grabbing his shoulder flipping over him and throwing the orange and blue clad genin across the arena.
'This is too easy…Is he testing me?' Naruto asked Kurama
'You're correct, and he's about to turn up the heat on you kit. Stay on guard and raise your power level accordingly to his' Kurama retorted
Gohan stood across from the blonde in his dragon fist stance. Gohan tightened his fists as a teal aura began to wrap around him. He looked into Naruto's eyes and noticed that his blue irises turned red, and his blue aura turned red as it began to wrap around him. His facial features became more feral and his nails turned into claws, as the ground under his feet began to splinter and crack.
"You think you can hang huh? Show me what you've got then"
Gohan blinked and to his shock he had to dodge a claw swipe towards his face, then another, then another, he noticed that Naruto's speed was picking up and Gohan was pushed on the back foot of the battle. Gohan jumped back and held out his hands.
"Gekiretsu Maden! (Raging Fury Demon Bullet)"
Naruto's eyes widened as he jumped back calling forward two Rasegans to deflect several ki blasts coming towards him. He was jumping around blocking multiple attacks and looking for a way to send in a counter attack. He held out one hand and the Rasengan enlarged and he
Yelled out
"Rasengan Flash!"
A blue beam was sent towards Gohan who had to stop his assault and jump out of the way.
"Teh, looks like this guy isn't someone I can take lightly! He really trained hard…BUT SO DID I!" he said with a vengeance.
Gohan smirked as he ran and body flickered around the battlefield gaining speed as he moved around Naruto who stood in place with a Rasengan in his left hand.
The blond stretched his senses out and felt for his ki senses as he reigned in his chakra and converted it into ki. He felt the vibrations in the air and channeled chakra into his ears as well. He felt the air swoosh around him as he got into his Killing Fist stance. He felt the air shift and he weaved to the left, opened his eyes and slammed his Rasengan into Gohan's right side, sending him flying across the area, slamming into the arena wall.
"Heh, he thought I wouldn't catch him" Naruto said with a confident smirk on his face
With Gohan, he was smiling as he realized he finally found the challenge he was looking for. He could finally use his full power as he looked up at the blonde with a confident smirk. He pulled himself out of the wall and he had his fists clenched as he kept eyes locked on his opponent. He blinked and the blonde was gone again, but this time he caused the fist and dodged another right hook from the blonde and he kneed him in the stomach, causing him to cough up spit, sending him flying across the battlefield. His body began to pulsate as a teal aura expanded around him. His aura was sparking around him as he pulled off his mangled orang gi as he got into his Dragon Fist stance.
"So, you got better than I thought you would. But now, I'm gonna show you what real strength looks like." he said as his eyes began to burn with teal aura.
Naruto stood in his Killing Fist stance as his red aura flickered around him. He had been converting Kurama's chakra into ki, but he couldn't push out a huge amount at first. Also, just using his chakra and Kurama's chakra alone wasn't enough, he realized he had to convert it into ki to reinforce his body to be sturdy enough for the battle while still using ki and chakra separately.
'Kurama, can we convert a tail's worth into ki fast enough to catch back up?'
'Yeah, but anything higher and the battle will be over before it can start. Unfortunately, chakra reinforcing your body isn't enough to match him unless you have 4 tails worth of my chakra, but that's not possible without you losing yourself.' Kurama said
Suddenly Gohan leapt towards him at a speed that he didn't expect and his knee connected with Naruto's face, knocking blood and spit out of his mouth.
"Argh!"
Gohan spun around and kicked him aside and sent him flying across the battlefield. Naruto flipped and landed on his feet kicking up dust as his eyes widened and he leaned back, dodging another spinning kick. He rose back up to punch at Gohan who dodged and landed on his forearm like a feather. Naruto looked up at him with widened eyes, then he snarled and tried to punch at Gohan who flipped over him and landed in a crouch, sweep kicking his feet from under him.
"Whoa!"
Naruto caught himself on his hands and spun on his right hand to kick Gohan, who blocked the attack with his right forearm. He kicked the blond in his chest, sending him skidding across the field, kicking up smoke. Gohan held one hand over the other with his hands over his head. A yellow ki sphere appeared in his hand and expanded to the size of a baseball, then to the size of a beach ball.
"Masenko-Ha! (Demon's Flash of Light)"
A giant yellow ki wave shot out at Naruto who was just getting to his feet and he held up his arms in a cross shape to block the attack.
"ERRGGHH!"
In the stands:
Noridasu was looking down in a stoic fashion. He had trained Naruto to refine the foxes chakra into ki while he fought. He knew the Foxes chakra was strong, but converting to ki would make him more durable than most. His speed, ki senses, agility and negative emotion sensing would be boosted. His attack power would be a bit higher, but not too much, but his power was controllable and not unstable giving him better a grip on his mind and sanity than just purely using Kurama's chakra.
"What do you think, gramps? Should he use his full capacity?" Kenji asked
Noridasu smirked as he looked at the battle
"If he plays his cards right he won't have to" he said
"What do you mean? Gohan's power is enormous!" Tsunade said as she sensed his ki, she learned how to sense power levels from Kumiko and Noridasu.
"No, he's right. If he uses his techniques wisely"
Back in the battle:
Naruto stood with his blue haori blown off with a tattered white shirt intact but damaged. The blonde had lowered his arms and looked at Gohan with a serious face. He began to run through hand signs as the smoke around him died down and he ended up on the bird seal.
"Ninja Art: Howling Wind Blades!"
The air around him began to spin and his aura formed into 4 ethereal Katanas made of wind. Gohan's eyes widened as this attack looked strange to him and dangerous at the same time. Naruto grabbed one of the Katanas and used his left hand and sent out the 2 blades. Gohan smirked at Naruto and disappeared as he reappeared behind his opponent. Naruto used his ki to swipe the sentient sword at Gohan who dodged and Naruto spun around and threw the sword in his right hand at Gohan who had to tilt his head and a cut ran across his cheek. Naruto gestured with his hand for the other swords at the son of Wukong and he had to dodge the blades. He shot a ki blast at one of the blades and they collided causing a giant explosion creating another crater and smoke. Both contestants jumped back to avoid getting caught by the explosion.
As the light died down, Gohan was still in his dragon fist stance as he looked at Naruto who still had 3 wind swords around him.
'Good thing we perfected this technique, ay Kurama?'
'Heh, make sure you end it once you convert the first tails worth of chakra. The next level will take a while, so hurry up and end it' the Fox said through the seal.
Gohan smirked as his aura flickered around him. Naruto gestured for two of his swords to go after Gohan and he began to jump backwards as he fired ki blasts at the swords but they moved out of the way and the blasts were sent towards the audience.
"Try this on for size!" Gohan said as he had to control the direction of the ki blasts and he redirected them towards Naruto who had to dodge.
Gohan moved through the onslaught of swords and Naruto rerouted towards his opponent. The son of Wukong was jumping around the battlefield, misleading the attacks into the wall and the ground and they exploded. Naruto brought a wind katana back to himself and leapt towards Wukong and swung the blade as Gohan caught it with both hands and he kicked him in his stomach sending him across the field. Gohan took the sword from him and threw it back at the blonde as he had to backflip and jump backwards landing on the wall.
'NOW!' He yelled mentally as he channeled the tail worth of converted ki.
His red aura bursted around him as pushed off the wall, cracking it and flew towards Gohan at a speed that turned him into a yellow flash. He held out his arm and clotheslined Gohan, knocking him off his feet.
This causes Wukong, Hiruzen and Rasa to widen their eyes at the sight of his power and speed.
"Hehehe, Naruto is full of surprises isn't he?" Wukong said as Hiruzen nodded
"He surprises me from time to time, as does his brother" Hiruzen said
Rasa, who was Orochimaru in disguise had a gleam in his eyes.
'Kukuku, so young Naruto is that powerful eh? I'd better make sure to have him killed as soon as the invasion starts' he thought.
In the competitors box:
Sasuke had his arms crossed as he followed the battle between the two. He couldn't believe how fast his blonde teammate was. He looked over to see Gaara with a crazy look in his eyes and he looked back at the battle and smirked.
'Looks like I'll have to put him away to get to Naruto' Sasuke thought to himself
Shikamaru looked down at the battle and thought
'What a drag. How am I supposed to keep up with these guys?'
Back in the battle:
Naruto pivoted around on his right foot and launched into a spin.
"Rasen Tatsumaki Senpukyaku!"
He spun into a spinning kick as he landed the spin kick into Gohan's back, and he landed on his left foot moving around Gohan as he created 4 shadow clones and they all moved in on him. The first clone slide in drop kicking him into the air,

another clone jumped up punching him in the back,
"ZU
"MA"
another clone kicked him upwards,
"KI"
he received a head but to his back
Finally the original appeared in front of Gohan and then he used an axe kick and slammed it into his stomach.
"Uzumaki-Namikaze Barrage!"
The son of Wukong was sent crashing into the ground kicking up smoke, debris and dust. Naruto landed on the other side of the crater as he was still on guard. He knew Gohan wasn't done as soon as he held his stance. He was waiting for a sign of his opponent as he had a hand near his kunai pouch. Soon a large amount of blue ki pierced through the smoke and dust as it blew away.
"AAAAAARRRRRRGHHHH!"
Soon the ground began to crack and splinter as rocks and debris floated around him as he looked towards Naruto with a serious look in his eyes that had changed from black to yellow with a black pupil and his hair was raised up with a golden glow outlining his body. His power radiated off of him as his aura danced around him in a jagged yet calm manner. Naruto knew that he would need to be on guard.
"Looks like I had to use my trump card after all. This form taps into the primal power of our saiyan heritage when we turned into great apes. My father and I have found a wave to tap into that power. Let's see if you can handle the power of the Ikari no Jotai."
He said as he began to float upwards.
Naruto stood in his killing fist stance with a kunai drawn with a katana made of wind chakra in his hand. Gohan smirked as he blurred out of sight. Naruto caught him at the last moment and stabbed forward, causing Gohan to dodge to the side. He spun around swinging the wind katana, causing him to float over the swipe. He spun into a kick, bashing his foot across Naruto's face, sending him skidding across the arena.
Naruto stabbed the wind katana into the ground to stop his momentum. He threw his kunai at an approaching Gohan and put his free hand in the ram seal creating 29 more kunai and Gohan had to flare his aura pushing the blades back. Naruto ripped the blade out of the ground and swung it vertically at Gohan. The Saiyan took his right index finger and channeled a lot of ki into it and parried the wind blade causing the blond saiyans eyes to widen.
"What the hell?"
Abruptly Gohan disappeared and reappeared behind him and the blond had to spin around and block a ki laced finger swipe with his wind katana. Gohan held his free hand in front of Naruto's face and pulled him away with his ki.
"Urgh! Dammit! He's fast!"
Naruto rebounded and landed on his feet and threw his wind katana at Gohan who was pressing towards him again. Naruto closed his eyes and focused all his ki into his center as red aura began to swirl around him. He put his hands congruent with one another cupped together. He created a ki ball and spread his hands and stretched the aura creating another wind katana. He gripped the hilt and jumped bringing down his sword with a vertical slash, sending out a gale of wind. Gohan dodged as he created a ki blast in his right hand and shot a wave of ki at the blonde causing him to jump and spin around to send another vertical chakra slash infused gale of wind at Gohan.
Gohan leaned back and shot another ki blast at Naruto hitting him in the chest, sending him flying around the field. The blast hadn't detonated yet and so he channeled aura around his body shielding him.
"HAAAAAAAAHHH!"
He pushed the blast back and sent it flying back, surprising Gohan who dodged the attack. Naruto channeled lightning into his wind katana and it began to crackle. He created 4 blades of wind shuriken and used his left hand to send them towards his opponent.
Gohan began to dodge the recurring shuriken as he had to dodge the attacks. He tried to shoot ki blasts towards the shuriken but they were only cut in half.
"Che, ok fine!"
Gohan smirked as he leapt around the arena and headed towards Naruto. The blonde smiled as he swung his chakra blade towards his opponent who dodged him. He jumped over the 4 wind shuriken. Gohan shot a key blast at him again hitting Naruto in his back and dodging the wind shuriken as they hit the arena wall and left multiple cuts upon it. Naruto arena wall as he impacted and caused a spiderweb crack.
Naruto stood on his feet shakily
'Gotdamn that hurt!' Naruto thought
'Kit, you'd better get rid of him now!' Kurama said
'Ok how much chakra do we have left?'
'Enough for a full power strike' Kurama said
'Ok, I've got this one in the bag' Naruto said as he channeled his key into one hand as he created a red Rasengan.
Gohan channeled his aura as his ki and his aura grew stronger. He cupped his hands together making a blue aura.
"Ka, Me, Ha, Me!"
He leapt into action and rushed towards Naruto. Said blonde held out his hand and channeled chakra into the Rasengan causing it to grow to the size of a basketball. Then he raised his arm as Gohan approached and they both yelled
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHGGGGG!"
There was a big explosion of blue ki expanding everywhere, so much that Ebisu jumped into the crowd. The crowd was blinded as the explosion almost reached the stands. Vegeta, Kenji, Noridasu and Jiraiya appeared and used their ki to protect the crowd from the explosion.
'Humph, the brats actually had a decent fight and I need to learn how to access that Ikari state' Vegeta thought to himself.
'Good thing me and Dad trained Naruto up for this.' Kenji thought to himself. Noridasu smiled down upon his grandson as he witnessed his victory.
As the explosion died down and the smoke and debris calmed down, Naruto and Gohan were in the middle of a giant crater. Gohan was down on one knee while Naruto stood on shaky legs clutching his right arm in pain. They were both breathing heavily as the dust cleared up. They were covered in blood and bruises as they struggled to stay awake. Gohan tried to stand up and dropped back down to one knee as he coughed out blood.
"Hehe, you're really strong"
"Same to you. It took everything I had to reach this level and compete with you"
"I…think I'm…. gonna let you have this one…. I can't even stand" Gohan said as he fell forward and Naruto caught him by the scruff of his shirt so he wouldn't hurt himself. He helped lift Gohan over his shoulder by the arm and waited until the medics came upon them.
"Winner Naruto Namikaze!" Ebisu said
The crowd cheered loud and proud.
"YES! I KNEW HE COULD DO IT!" Mito yelled
"Damn right! The brat just made me a fortune hahaha!" Tsunade said
Kenji's body flickered down to Naruto as he almost fell after giving Gohan to the medic staff. The blonde fell and as Ebisu went to catch him Kenji appeared to catch him by grabbing his back shirt collar pulling him back up to his feet slowly and he helped his brother walk back to the stairwell of the arena.
The Namikaze and Senju clan were cheering amongst the audience. Son Wukong had a proud smile on his face from watching the battle. He couldn't help but think about the irony. He had out-speeded Minato and his son was overpowered by Minato's son. Hiruzen had a proud smile on his face at the battle he witnessed.
"Next battle of Shikamaru Nara versus Temari of the Sand will take place in 10 minutes" he said as Naruto made his way upstairs.
Shikamaru sighed as he rolled his neck.
"Looks like you're up Nara" Sasuke said with folded arms
"What a drag."
"I'm surprised you haven't forfeited"
"Oh please, if I do my mom will throw a fit"
"Hmph, then you should probably get going"
Said pineapple head nodded as he began to take the stairs down to the arena. He had his hands in his pockets as he thought about what he would do in his next match. Meanwhile Temari leapt out with her fan and jumped on it allowing it to glide over the field as she went to land gently.
As he walked down the stairs he began to hear other footsteps and he got on guard as he heard them moving forward. He whirled around the steps and realized as he descended and saw Kenji and Naruto walking upwards towards him. Kenji spoke up as he saw Shikamaru.
"Alright kiddo, I'm going back to the stands sense I'm not allowed in the contestants box." he said smiling at his brother then looking at Shikamaru he nodded as he disappeared in a yellow flash.
Shikamaru sighed as he began to walk down the stairs. As he was passing Naruto put a hand on his shoulder.
"Knock Em dead out there!"
Shikamaru shrugged with a huff and nodded.
"Sure, if I don't I'll never hear the end of it" he said as he continued to walk forward
"I've got complete faith in you!" Naruto said in his nice guy pose
Shikamaru smirked as he waved him off and continued towards the match.

There were several powerful sound ninjas gathered with a few others.
"So when do we attack?" a well built man with no shirt, green pants and 3 eyes asked
"Very soon Tien. Very soon. We will get to test our strength against the Namikaze clan" An older man with a ponytail said
"It seems that we must wait as he said, but I am becoming impatient. I wish to fight one of the so-called ninja guardians myself" A man with wild white hair, pupiless eyes and a scar across his face and red pants, a black gi, red tank top and black boots with metal shin guards.
"Relax Bison, Lord Orochimaru will have Kabuto and the others" Mizuki said
"Bah, as long as we get strong opponents, then I don't care" a black man with a jagged lining on his forehead said
Suddenly a swirl with an unnatural sound began to let out a person from it. A man with short black hair, an orange swirl mask, a black cloak with red clouds on it and black shinobi sandals appeared with 3 others behind him. They were in black cloaks with red clouds but they had hoods on their heads. He looked around at the ninjas surrounding him as he tisked.
"So he's going all out for once. For a moment I thought the snake would be arrogant and only bring a few forces and have myself and the other akatsuki as his ace in the hole. But this. It looks like the Leaf Village will fall today" Obito said
"Of course it will" said another voice as 3 hooded figures walked out into the clearing appearing out of nowhere.
Obito's sharingan looked at them with a knowing smirk under his mask
"Ahh the Kurama clan, it seems the snake wants blood just as I thought. And having chakra masking seals around the area so we can spread out around a certain perimeter of the village. This should be fun hmhmhmhmhm" Obito said with an evil chuckle
"Alright, now that everyone is here, I'll be reporting to lord Jinsuke to make sure that root provides a way for you all into the village with the summoning of the giant snakes to attack the village border" Mizuki said as he walked away and soon his body flickered away.
Little did they know that the village was prepared for them. Two of Danzo's agents had been tailing Mizuki and hiding from afar as he made his way back to the village. They disappeared and went the long way back to the village. Fuu and Torune were running through the forest not using any chakra as they made their way to Danzo. Apparently Jinsuke had been a traitor. THey had to let their leader know of this as soon as possible. Unfortunately for them, Zetsu's head appeared out of a tree as he watched them.
"Looks like we need to root out the pests" White Zetsu said
"Yes let's get rid of them quickly" Black Zetsu agreed
Fuu and Torune were on their way back to the village as they saw another agent of Danzo's waiting for them.
"Shin, did you see anyone on your way here?" Torune asked
The ninja shook his head as he looked around him.
"Good now-"
"Wait, look forward!" Fuu said as he caused all of them to turn around to see an akatsuki member looking at them with olive green hair, and half black and half white skin.
"Wh-what is that?" Fuu asked
"I don't know, but-" Torune took off his gloves and his shirt as his body began to turn all purple
"Shin, conceal your chakra and leave this place" he said as he looked at Fuu and the Yamanaka nodded at him
"Yes, Shin yo must go. Now report to lord Danzo" he said as he drew his tanto
"We will create a distraction for you to get away. But you must leave immediately, there are a lot of dangerous ninjas around here" Fuu said as a bead of sweat rolled down his face.
Torune leapt towards Zetsu who smirked going through hand seals and smashed his hand into the ground created earth spears causing Torune to jump over him. Fuu a volley of shuriken ar Zetsu who used the spears from the ground as cover. Fuu leapt into battle with his tanto drawn. Shin ran around them as Torune landed whirling around to try and touch Zetsu who jumped towards Shin only to have to avoid a stab from Fuu.
"You will not stop him!" Fuu said as Shin kept running forward
He continued to run as he heard clashing behind him and didn't look back. It would only be a matter of time before more enemy forces appeared before them. He would not allow their sacrifice to be in vain as he got the information back to Lord Danzo.

Back in the stadium:
Temari swung her fan towards Shikamaru who dodged and was sent blowing backwards but he got his balance. He pulled out a set of kunai and ran to her right, throwing out the knives in several hail. She blocked them with the steel part of her fan. She jumped to the right and spun swing the fan and sending out a gust of went at where the Nara would be hitting him direct sending him tumbling across the field.
"Argh!" He yelled as he felt a shallow gash across his chest.
He didn't have time to rest as he rolled over onto his feet leaping into the air drawing a kunai with a paper bomb tag and he threw it at her. She had to jump and she looked at her fan and smirked as half the moon was showing.
She swung out another wind scythe technique at Shikamaru's general direction. He went through hand signs as he landed.
"Earth Style: Mud Wall!" A large wall of earth rose out of the ground. He looked around and saw forest foliage a few meters away from him. He quickly created an illusion clone and had it run as he threw down smoke bombs. He knew Temari would send a gust of wind towards his illusion and he made a fast break from the foliage. He quickly had to land in the brush and jump again as another gust of wind was sent at him.
"Is running all you can do?" She asked annoyed
Shikamaru was hiding behind some of the remaining forest foliage in the arena. He had been avoiding several Wind Scythe Jutsu attacks as he was trying to find a way to defeat her with his shadow techniques. Shikamaru smirked as he thought of some form of plan to mislead her and put her on the backfoot of the battle. He went through several hand seals and ended in the Snake seal, creating an earth clone. He had the earth clone put his hands in the ram seal and created an illusion clone as well. He sent out the earth clone and had it begin to throw shuriken at Temari and then he sent his illusion clone out to the left while he went through more hand signs and ended on the rat seals.
Temari was annoyed at how basic his strategy was. She swung her wind scythe jutsu at his illusion clone tearing into it
"Is that all you've got?"
Everyone gasped until they realized the clone was a fake. Suddenly, the earth clone threw a kunai with a flash and towards her. She jumped back using her tan to block her eyes.
'Now' Shikamaru thought
Next, the original Shikamaru ran out of the bushes with his hands in the ram seal as his earth clone began to do the same running with him. As Temari landed she felt as if she couldn't move.
"Shadow Possession Jutsu success!" He said with a smirk
The earth clone ran up with a kunai held towards her next as he made her drop the fan. The earth clone kicked it away as the knife began to press against her neck.
"Do you yield?" The earth clone asked
Temari snarled as she sighed in frustration.
"I give up" she said annoyed as Ebisu nodded
"Winner, Shikamaru Nara!"
The crowd cheered as they gave the young leaf ninja a round of applause.
"Heh, I knew he could do it!" Naruto said with a fist pump
Choji and Ino were cheering while Asuma smiled to see his students progress.. Choji was eating chips fast as he had a surprised look on his face, while Ino was cheering for him.
"GO SHIKAAAA!" She said with one hand cupped around her mouth as the other fist pumped in the air.
His parents were pleased as his mother Yonshino was also cheering while Shikaku was smirking at the victory from a viewing room in the Jonin headquarters.
As he won he saw a frazzled Temari looking at him with a blush on her face.
"We'll be having a rematch soon!" she said with a bite in her tone that made a bead of sweat roll down his forehead.
"There will be a 10 minute reprieve until the next match" Ebisu said
Shikamaru walked on as Temari growled in frustration following him. As they reached the stairs she grabbed his shoulder, turning him around.
"Did you hear me?"
"Yea, I did. How troublesome. I'll agree if you leave me alone" He said and she was a bit surprised as she took a step back and nodded with a grimace on her face and body flickered into the stands with her sensei. Said Nara sighed and walked into the stairwell to see Naruto who held out a fist for him to fist bump. As their fists bumped he smirked at him.
They began to walk up the stairs and Naruto opened his mouth to say something until he felt Gaara's unstable presence. Then he shook his head as he and Shikamaru kept walking.
"Is everything alright? You did a 180 just now."
"Yea, just thinking about something" he said
"What exactly?"
"You'll know soon" he said as they kept walking up the flights of stairs
Shikamaru was quiet for a moment until they heard screaming coming from a corridor in front of them. The pineapple head was a bit shaken from the suddenly painful wails but Naruto began to stand in a relaxed posture with his eyes turning red. He began to emanate his only oppressive aura partly to protect Shikamaru as Gaara came forward with a demonic smirk on his face. His smirk widened as he felt Naruto's oppressive aura match his own. Suddenly his face turned into a grimace as he began to sweat from Naruto's aura overcoming his own. His power exploded from his body splintering and cracking the ground, causing Shikamaru to take a step back from the two.
"Remember Gaara, I hold all 9, you only have 1." he said calmly as he lowered his killing intent.
Soon Gaara began to walk with an angered visage past the 2 leaf shinobi. He continued down the stairs with a grimace on his face.
"Oh and before you worry about catching up to me, worry about Sasuke. Right now he's even stronger than me because he's gained a better control of his power than me" Naruto said as Gaara continued to walk.
Naruto and Shikamaru began to keep walking into the competitors box to see that Sasuke had left. Mina was standing with her arms folded over her chest looking at him for a moment then down at the fight.
"Looks like you two had another pissing contest again" she said to Naruto as she turned to look at him
"He killed two shinobi who threatened him in the hallway. I just made sure to give off a killing intent to protect Shikamaru from Gaara"
Mina nodded while Kankuro listened in with interest.
'That punk can match up to Gaara eh? I wonder what the Uchiha can do against him if that's the case.' Kankuro thought as he looked back at the face off.
"3rd match! Sasuke Uchiha versus Gaara of the Desert! Are you ready?"
Both ninjas nodded as they looked at one another and Sasuke took off his eyepatch to reveal his red Rinnegan with 9 tomoe.
"Fight!" Ebisu yelled as he jumped back
The cork off of Gaara's gourd popped off as the sand began to pour out of it coming to life and lifting up around him in an offensive manner. Sasuke stood with a smirk on his face as he got into his intercepting fist stance. He wasted no time and disappeared, reappearing next to Gaara slamming a back-fist into his sand barrier, then he disappeared again. He reappeared spin-kicking at Gaara's sand shield and he had to jump back as a tendril of Sand stabbed at him. He disappeared from sight again as two tendrils of sand spears stabbed at him. The two tendrils whipped around the area, eventually joined by a 3rd tendril stabbing at Sasuke.
He drew his tanto channeling lightning into it as he began to slash through the sand tendrils. He began to move so fast through the field as she became an afterimage cutting through the sand with ease. He reappeared before Gaara and slashed at his sand shield again, but instead of lightning there was fire engulfing the tanto turning it into glass. He elbow struck through the glass hitting Gaara square in the jaw, then he spun around with a low kick, tripping Gaara then smashing the butt of his tanto into the side of Gaara's head. Sasuke had to jump back with a hand made of sand, reappearing far away from Gaara in his original position. He saw cracks all over Gaara's face as he stood with his tanto drawn. He pulled out a scroll with a smirk on his face.
"Hey, are you gonna get serious or not?"
Gaara clapped his hands as two waves of sand rose from the ground.
"Wind style: Sand Shower!"
Several small bullets of armor piercing sand were sent at Sasuke who jump back and opened his scroll, setting it on the ground and stepping on the seal. A torrent of water erupted from it as he went through multiple hand signs landing on the dog sign.
"Water style: Double Headed Water Dragon!"
A large dragon with two heads rose from the torrent of water coming from the ground as it charged towards Gaara's sand bullets causing him to clap his hands and create a giant layer wall of sand to block the double headed dragon. He used his sand to raise him off the ground and move him across the field. He grunted as he surfed across the field on a cloud of sand going through hand signs creating a sand clone. As he left from behind the wall he the clone went through hand signs.
"Wind style: Double sand bullet!"
Sasuke went through hand signs ending on the tiger seal and blew out a giant fireball colliding with the sand creating glass. They split and went through more hand signs causing the remainder of the sand to rise into a wave.
"Wind style: Sand Shuriken!"
The wall shot out a volley of the blades at Sasuke who swung his sword covered in fire chakra at Gaara and his clone.
"Fire style: dancing halo crescent!"
A crescent wave of fire at the sand shuriken. Gaara and his clone began to rise as his sand clone came up to him and transformed into a sand spear. More sand began to form around his body as he added more to sand armor repairing the cracks on his face and body. His lower half under became ghost-like as his speed grew faster and he moved in a snake like fashion moving towards Sasuke and moving around him in a circle like motion, creating a sand tornado kicking up a strong wind and sand force trying to cut slash at Sasuke throughout the circle. Sasuke's lightning chakra began to burst around him and he held out his hands.
"Chidori Nagashi (lightning Current!)" He yelled out as the lightning coming from his body spread out and tore through the sand Hurricane pushing Gaara back as he jumped back as he avoided the attack.
His feet came back under him and his eyes widened as he looked over to see Sasuke was gone. He turned around and used his sand to body flicker away from a lightning coated sword slash. His eyes widened even more as he jumped back even more as Sasuke held out the sword and lightning shot out towards him in the form of a spear from the sword.
"Grrrgh! I'll kill you!" He said as he threw the sand spear at Sasuke who slashed through it with his tanto and his body began to glow blue.
"Hiyaku teki shinpo! (Quantum Leap)"
He teleported behind Gaara and slashed with his lightning-covered tanto cutting into his back. A burst of Sand exploded from the boy as Sasuke jumped back flipping in mid air going through hand signs ending on the tiger sign.
"Fire style: Phoenix flower Jutsu!"
3 small bursts of flames shot out at Gaara who used his sand to defend as he grimaced. Sasuke landed as he jumped backwards in several body flickers and landed on the wall sitting horizontal on the vertical surface of the wall. He held out his left hand and put away his tanto as a ball of fire and electricity began to form in his hand. He held out his left hand and put his right hand around the ball of fire and lightning condensing it into a light forest green.
Gaara saw this and clap his hands together and put his hands in the snake seal, then as a beast made of sand created a shield made of Shikaku's body in a ronin hat as he held up a shield. Sasuke smirked as his Rinnegan gleamed at the 1 tailed jinchuriki. He crushed the ball of ki in his hand and it crackled in green lightning around him.
"Plasma style: Chidori Collision!" he yelled as he burst off the wall with a *boom* launching towards Gaara.
Kakashi looked at his student in surprise as he pulled up his head band to look at the attack with his sharingan.
"So he took the chidori up to the next level did he?"
Guy hearing this gasped in shock as he looked at the attack.
"So, that's it eh? A new version of the lightning blade?"
Sakura, Ino, Choji and Lee looked up at him as Sakura asked
"What is a lightning blade?"
"It's a jab. A very powerful jab that has the power to cut a bolt of lightning. At least that's what Kakashi did as he used the move to do just that. The lightning blade or chidori is a move he created during the third great ninja war at -"
"That's enough Guy. They don't need to know all the details" Kakashi said
This revelation of the fact that Kakashi the copy ninja created his own jutsu that could cut a lightning bolt only solidified him as someone who earned his notorious position.
"Th-that's incredible! And Sasuke added a second element of fire to it to make it plasma" Ino said as she looked at Sasuke who was dodging several spikes of Sand from the shield of sand that Gaara was hiding inside of. He dodged them with ease as his Sharingan activated and moved in tandem with his Rinnegan. He proceeded to stab through another sand spike and tear into the dome Gaara hid in and soon he felt his hand pierce through flesh next. There was a moment of silence as Gaara felt a tingling sensation in his left shoulder.
'Mother, what is this feeling? I don't feel so-'
Soon he found himself looking at the blood gushing from his shoulder.
"BLOOD! IT'S MY BLOOD! AAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!" He yelled as he felt
Sasuke channeled lightning chakra around his arm and pulled his hand out of the dome of sand jumping away from his opponent. He jumped back landing to see his arm was being held by an arm made of sand. His Rinnegan had seen the chakra of the one tails emitting from his opponent.
"Oh, so you're transforming already huh? Bring it on!" he said as he created his chidori in his right hand
Suddenly, there were white feathers falling upon the crowd. Soon, multiple people in the group began to fall asleep, along with several ninjas. Genma,Kakashi, Asuma, Guy and Kurenai performed the genjutsu kai and so did several of their students. Several sound and sand ninjas stormed the arena and soon the Tsuchikage, Hokage and Kazekage began to clash as did their guarding Ninja. Naruto was about to fall asleep but then Shikamaru saved him from getting caught in the genjutsu. Kankuro jumped out of the contestants box with Shino following him. Mina and Neji performed a genjutsu release on the attacks as well.
Kankuro and Temari landed next to Gaara while Ebisu stood ready as Shino landed between him and Sasuke. Soon, Baki landed in front of his team and said
"Temari, Kankuro, take Gaara and get out of here!"
As he said this he turned around and blocked a kunai swipe from Ebisu.
"Sasuke, Shino, you two go after them!"
The 3 sand siblings jumped out of the stadium. Shino and Sasuke jumped after them but soon Shino had to dodge a volley of shuriken from another sand shinobi. They kept going as a the random sand both had to dodge a volley of kunai from said jonin. Shino signed as he looked back at the sand ninja
"I'll be dealing with him. I'll catch up with you in a bit" he said as his Kekkaicho began to flood out of his coat
Back in the stadium:
Krillin, Han, Yamcha and two of the Hokage's personal anbu were watching the stand off helplessly because they couldn't penetrate the barrier.
"Humph, this is annoying! What do we do?" Yamcha asked
"Lord Tsuchikage, what are your orders?" Han asked
Wukong stood in his Turtle fist stance and spoke without looking away from the Kazekage,
"Go and help out the Hidden Leaf ninjas. The Hidden Stone will fight against the Sound and Sand for their disrespect of a tradition between villages" he said
"And for the betrayal of the Hidden Leaf and the attempt on the life of the Tsuchikage, Hokage, and the death of the KazeKage your life ends here today Orochimaru" Hiruzen said as he took off his Hokage robes revealing his Hokage battle garbs.
Orochimaru tore off the face of the Kazekage to reveal his own face.
"So you knew it was me did you? Kukuku. Very interesting. But, did you know of the forces I wield with me?" he said as several explosions ignited across the village and they saw several giant snakes breaking through the East village gates.
Soon, Jiraiya and Tsunade landed near the barrier
"Sensei your orders?" Jiraiya asked
"Jiraiya take the anbu with you and stop the snakes destroying the village gates. Tsunade evacuated the village hospital with the civilians."
In the middle of the village:
Mizuki was moving through the village cutting down several chunin he found a place to hide as he cut his thumb and went through several hand signs and planted his hand on the ground as a coffin began to rise out of the ground.
"He should cause a good distraction for the real damage we plan to do to the village." he said in evil glee
The coffin opened and out stepped a man that looked like Vegeta but he was a bit older and he looked around in annoyance.
"Where am I? Who are you?"
Mizuki smirked as he put a kunai with a seal tag on the back of his head
"King Vegeta, you will be an instrument of destruction to destroy the hidden leaf village" he said
The king grimaced as he began to walk out of the alley and start killing the shinobi around them. Before he could do anything else he was kicked in the face by Han and Krillin and Yamcha followed up using both their legs kicking him in the face. Trunks shot a burning attack at the king sending him flying towards the village wall.
"K-King Vegeta. How the hell is he here?" Trunks asked
"He's a reanimation of edo tensei!" Yamcha yelled
They heard another explosion on the other side of the village and Trunks looked in fear. Krillin looked at him with a knowing glance and said,
"Go on kid, we've got this!" the bald monk said in understanding
Trunks nodded and body flickered away.
Danzo stood looking at the battle in a tower as Shin landed next to him with bruises and cuts along his body.
"Lord Danzo, we have several leaks in the village!"
"What do you have for me? Things are in a crisis"
"It's Mizuki! He's a traitor!"
"Of course he is. What else do you have?"
"It's Jinsuke he and Kabuto are working with him as well"
Danzo's eyes widened as he stood in anger, but suddenly he turned around and blocked a stab from his son Jinsuke Shimura. He heard clashes behind him as he heard Shin clash behind them as well. Soon he heard several other ninja coming forth to stab Shin in the shoulder and him in the stomach.
"Urgh!"
He kicked Jinsuke off him and then he stabbed one of the perpetrators in the chest. Shin punched his perpetrator and slashed at him but he dodged. Jinsuke went through hand signs and blew out a slash from a vacuum sphere. Danzo pushed Shin and tried to dodge but he received a slash to his waist, causing him to fall back bleeding on the floor. Suddenly a red blur moved through the room stabbing all the sound ninja in the room and Akino appeared in front of Danzo and Shin. She looked back at her grandfather then back at Jinsuke with rage in her eyes.
"YOU! WHY?!"
Jinsuke gave a saddening smile at him as his kunai dripped of his fathers blood.
"Akino, I'm sorry, but this had to be done!"
"FUCK YOU! YOU'RE ONLY SORRY BECAUSE YOU GOT CAUGHT!"
She leapt towards him and he scoffed and dodged her strike and smashed the pommel of his blade into the back of her head. Shin jumped in and kicked at him, following up with a slash. He performed a palm strike into his chest and spun around to slash his shoulder and collarbone. Shin fell to his knees and tried to stab Jinsuke in the foot but he jumped back and threw a paper bomb on the floor near Shin and body flickered away. He grabbed Akino and jumped back towards a closed window. He took out a blade and slashed the wooden window open launching out of the building as it exploded.
Back in the stadium:
Neji had leapt into action to help his fellow Hyuga clansmen to protect Hiashi alongside his father Hisashi.
Naruto used his ki to sense Sasuke and Gaara.
"Found them sensei!" he said
"Alright, look Naruto, Hinata, Shikamaru, Mina and you're-"
"My name is Ryu Hoseki sir"
"Right Sakura you listen up as well. Naruto, Shikamaru and Hinata. You all go back up Sasuke and Shino against Gaara. Mina, Ryu, and Sakura, you all go help evacuate the civilians and wake up some of the other ninja." he said. The gray white ninja went through hand seals and summoned his ninja dog Pakkun.
"Pakkun, I need you to assist these 3 in tracking down my wayward student Sasuke Uchiha"
Pakkun nodded
"No problem, I'm on it."
The dog began to sniff around and soon his head rose as he looked back and nodded at the 3 he was in charge of helping as he began to move out. Naruto, Hinata and Shikamaru leapt off to find Sasuke while Sakura, Mina and Ryu went to help the citizens. Kakashi turned around as he had to dodge a slash from a sound ninja. Guy kicked a sand ninja away from the back of Kakashi, sending him flying.
"That makes 30 to your 29 Kakashi"
Suddenly Kakashi threw a kunai past his head hitting a sound ninja in the neck.
"Hmmm, did you say something, Guy?"
"Heh, that's my eternal rival. Lets see who can get up to 60 shinobi beaten!" he said as they both leapt into action.
On the roof with Wukong, Hiruzen and Orochimaru:
The Sannin was in the fight of his life as he dodged a kick from Wukong and used his Kusanagi sword to deflect the giant shurikens.
'Tch, these two are two strong. I need to summon those two now!' he thought as he went through hand signs and summoned 2 shadow clones.
He went through several hand signs ending on clapping his hands. Wukong leapt towards one of his clones as he sent out a snake towards him. Hiruzen leapt in to punch towards one of the clones as he dodged a slash from Kusanagi trying to dispel the shadow clone. Suddenly two coffins began to rise out of the ground and soon Wukong jumped back and cupped his hands.
"Kamehame!"
He held out his hands prepared to blast a giant ki wave.
Orochimaru's clone went through several hand signs and slammed his hands on the ground.
"Triple Rashomon!"
3 giant gates rose out of the ground and Wukong yelled out
"HAAAAAAAAAAA!"
A giant blue beam of ki shot out towards the gates and it began to tear through the 1st one, but he was too late. The two coffins were opened as they showed Bardock the destroyer and Hashirama Senju, the 1st Hokage. Wukong landed next to Hiruzen as they both looked at him in fear and disbelief.
"Orochimaru…you've desecrated the graves of the fallen," Hiruzen said in a sad tone.
Wukong's blue aura sparked around him as it turned golden and his eyes turned yellow with a black pupil in the middle.
"Orochimaru! How dare you!"
Bardock and Hashirama walked out of they coffins as they looked at their opponents.
"Kakarot? Is that you? My son!"
Wukong held a serious gaze on his face as he looked at his father.
"Yes father, it's me. I would've liked to meet with you in death but fate had other means."
The first Hokage looked at Hiruzen and smiled at him as he looked over at the Tsuchikage.
"Hiruzen my student, the fact that you stand before me, whether I be enemy or not, it's good to see you. And I see you've made peace with the Hidden Stone judging from the headband of that young man."
Hiruzen nodded
"Yes, we had tried to keep the peace in the realm of shinobi, but unfortunately, my bothersome student has brought you back to wreak havoc upon our home"
"I have faith that you will stop us in time Hiruzen"
"Enough talk!" Orochimaru said putting the two kunai tags in the back of the Hokage's and Bardock's heads.
"GO MY WARRIORS KILL THEM BOTH!"
Wukong and Hiruzen leapt into action and clashed with their opponents. Wukong had drawn his staff Nyoibō. Hiruzen had drawn two kunai but he made plans to summon his staff Enma soon. Suddenly he and Wukong had to jump back as roots began to emerge from the ground into the form of trees and a forest.
"The wood style huh? I can sense from those trees that if we get touched by them we'll be drained of a good portion of our energy."
Abruptly, he had to hold up his staff and block a punch from his father and he kneed him in the chin, then kicked him away. He twirled his stand and smashed him away. He landed seeing his father stand back up as his body repaired itself. This caused Hiruzen to look back at his own opponent in worry.
"So they can just keep coming back to life I see. This is the jutsu of the Second Hokage. Impure Resurrection. Wukong, we'll need to find a way to seal them away, sending them back to the pure world."
Wukong nodded as he proceeded to get back into his battle stance and look upon his father with regret. But he quickly squashed that feeling as he looked at him and realized he was summoned against his own will and fighting against his son for a tyrant.
