He stared at her for a moment gathering his thoughts. "Did you just say, 'Kiryu?'" She nodded. "But..Toshiro...he is the progenitor of that bloodline...that's his father...what does Zero not know?"

"He didn't specify what Zero knew, Kaname-sama," she whispered. "Toshiro Kiryu-sama said that Zero-sama thought Cross was his last name and his father never told him the truth. He married a hunter woman when Zero-sama and his twin were still babies. She was the younger sister to Kaien Cross-san. He feared for his children's safety, so he told them their last name was Cross. He ended up having a half hunter half pureblood daughter with his wife. All the children, including himself, used the last name Cross. He told me he wanted to protect his children, and he did for almost 17 years. Rido Kuran-sama was a friend of his before he had children. But they had a fallout and Toshiro Kiryu-sama threatened Rido Kuran-sama and told him to stay away from him. He found out that Toshiro Kiryu-sama had children and a hunter wife. He killed his wife and daughter before Toshiro Kiryu-sama was able to flee. He took Ichiru-sama and ran, leaving Zero-sama and Kaien to Rido-sama."

"Wait, he abandoned his son and brother-in-law? What happened to them? If what you are saying is accurate, Zero should be at least a teenager and not a child."

"I know, Kaname-sama," Seiren whispered. "Rido Kuran-sama brought someone with him who could perform spells. He spelled Zero-sama and forced him to be a child with no memories for at least 1,000 years and that once it broke, he would regain those memories and begin to age again. He wanted Kaien dead, but when the spell hit Zero-sama, Kaien held onto him and the spell also ended up affecting him. So he was stuck at his age for over 1,000 years before he began to age once again."

Kaname took a deep breath, trying to decide what he was going to do with this information. "After they got spelled, why didn't he kill them then?"

"Because that person who cursed them also put a protection spell on them. Rido Kurana-sama almost killed them for doing that, but the person managed to put him into a deep sleep for many years," Seiren continued. Kaname took a deep breath. He had looked down. "Toshiro Kiryu-sama wants to meet with you." Kaname's head shot up and he looked her in the eye. "He gave me this." She handed over a note, as he took it.

After a minute, Kaname closed his eyes. "I will go." Seiren only nodded, as Kaname got to his feet. He turned to her. "You are dismissed." Within seconds, her presence was far away and he sighed. He left his room, before he summoned his nobles, along with Yuuki and Zero. "I'll be leaving the dorm for a few days. I have an urgent matter to deal with and I'm unsure how long it will take." His eyes landed on Yuuki and Zero. "You two are coming with me." Zero and Yuuki's eyes widen in shock, but the two of them nod. "Ruka, Aido." The two nobles stepped forward. "Help them dress, we need to leave quickly." The two nobles nod, as they lead the children away.

Once they were out of sight and hearing range, Takuma turned to Kaname, as the other nobles watched. "What is going on Kaname? You seem troubled."

Kaname furrowed a brow before he closed his eyes. "Zero is about to get the shock of his life and you all are not to say anything to anyone." They waited as Kaname reopened his eyes, tinging with a hint of crimson. "He is the son of the progenitor who created the Kiryu line." A gasp was heard, as he looked at Taukma.

The blond looked extremely shocked. After a few moments, he managed to calm himself. "Does he know?"

"I'm not sure," Kaname's answer was proof enough for them not to ask anything else. "There is a lot more, but unfortunately I don't have the time to tell you."

Yuuki, Zero, Ruka, and Aido reappeared, with the children dressed. Kaname smiled at them. "Let us go." He turned to Takuma. "Inform Ruka and Aido, the three of us will return." With that, he grabbed a hand of each and walked out of the Moon Dormitory.

Toshiro was sitting in a quiet cafe, and a cup of coffee was in front of him. His mind was in shambles after he met with Kaname Kuran's informer. He wasn't going to lie to the girl and only told her what he had to. He needed to know if his son survived and when he found out that he did and what Rido had done, the father's anguish turned to red-hot anger. He would make Rido pay for what he did to his family and somehow reunite with Zero if his son would even accept him. 1,000 years of longing and he didn't know how Zero felt about him. Did he still hate him? He wouldn't blame him if he did.

"Ichiru, Kaiya, I know you two can hear me," Toshiro's voice was hardly a whisper, yet the two siblings sitting in the corner looked his way. "You need to go before Kuran gets here with his sister and Zero. Zero will recognize you both instantly."

"Father, he'll recognize you as well," Kaiya whispered back.

"I understand your concern for me dear, but I need to talk to Zero and Kuran," Toshiro closed his eyes. "So much needs to be said. He needs to learn everything. Now go," Within seconds, the table was empty and they were miles away nearly instantly. They gained the ability from their father and it came in handy, especially for something like this.

Toshiro could feel three very powerful purebloods approaching, instantly recognizing his son's presence. He did feel his son hesitant, knowing Zero either recognize him or was cautious.

Zero stopped and looked at Kaname. "I might not have a right to ask, but whose presence are we sensing?" Yuuki also looked at her brother, knowing whoever it was they were more powerful than her and even Kaname himself.

"Toshiro," his voice was soft, knowing Zero should recognize the name.

Instantly he saw those amethyst hues fill with tears and Zero shook his head. "No, please tell me you're lying. Please tell me we are not about to see the man who abandoned me! A man who left me and Kaien-san for dead! A man who could care less about me!"

"If I told you the truth, would you listen?" All three turned to a voice and Zero came face to face with his father for the first time in over 1,000 years. Zero was shaking with emotions that he broke down. As Kaname and Toshiro's eyes met, Yuuki instantly engulfed Zero in a hug. Kaname could feel how powerful Toshiro was and knew if Tohsiro willed it, he would be killed. "I see your sister is attached to my son, Kuran-sama."

Kaname arched an eyebrow. "They are very close, Toshiro-sama. So close they almost act like siblings. I have taken a liking to Zero as well. He is a very special boy."

Toshiro's amethyst eyes flashed with crimson for a moment, before he closed them. "Yes, he is a very special child. I would know, I am his father after all." He reopened his eyes, as he saw Zero pull away from Yuuki. Zero faced his father, as hot angry tears fell. He reached his hand back and punched Toshiro so hard that the older vampire went back a few feet. Kaname and Yuuki both stood there completely shocked. "I deserve that! I deserve a lot more than that."

"You better believe that," Zero hissed in anger. "You abandoned me and expect me not to react? Father, I could have died! Kaien-san could have died! Did you not care about us?"

Toshiro let out a deep breath, "Zero, I care about both of you more than you know, but I have to tell you everything. Will you please listen to what I have to say?"

Kaname and Yuuki glanced between the two, knowing everything fell on Zero. Zero closed his eyes for a moment before he let out a shaky breath. "Fine, I need to know how many lies you told me. I need to know who I am, father! Cross cannot be my last name! Kaien-san is human and we are not! Mother could not have been my real mother! I want to know everything!" He reopened his eyes, the tears in his eyes broke Toshiro's heart.

"Then follow me," Toshiro whispered, as he turned and led the three of them into the cafe he was sitting in earlier.

He returned to his table, as a waiter approached. "Would you like a fresh cup of coffee, sir?" Toshiro nodded, as the waiter turned to them. " Hello Kamane-sama sir, the usual?" Kaname only nodded, as Toshiro raised a brow. "Greetings Yuuki-sama, your usual as well?" She smiled and nodded. He smiled, as he turned to Zero "And what would you like?"

Zero's eyes glanced at the menu, as the others watched him quietly. "A glass of cold milk, please." The waiter wrote it down with a nod. He walked off to get their drinks. "We are here, so talk." Tohsiro raised his eyes and met Zero's hurt ones.

"You are definitely my son," he murmured, though they all heard him. "Well for starters, I need to explain a few things. I'm not only a high-ranking vampire, Zero. I'm the progenitor of our bloodline." Zero's eyes widened, as Yuuki gasped. Kaname kept his mouth closed because he only knew because of Seiren. "Our last name is not Cross, you are right. Your birth last name is Kiryu."

"But I don't understand, why do you tell us all differently? Why did you lie?" Zero's eyes remained hurt, as Kaname placed a comforting arm around him.

The waiter brought them drinks and they silently thanked him.

Toshiro watched Kaname with careful eyes, seeing how close Kuran was to his son. Kaname stared at him, "Uneasy, Toshiro-sama?"

"Do not anger me, Kaname-sama," Toshiro responded coldly. "Despite how my son feels about you, I will not hesitate to end you." Zero and Yuuki watched as Toshiro's eyes went from a beautiful amethyst color to a terrifying red hue. He closed his eyes. "I lied to protect you, Zero." When he reopened his eyes, they were just like Zero's. Their appearance was nearly identical, except Toshiro was over thousands of years old. He looked at them all. 'I'm sure you are all well acquainted with the name Rido Kuran." Yuuki's eyes widened in fear, as Kaname's eyes turned crimson. Zero's glass fell from his hand to the ground, instantly shattering, as the milk soaked into the carpet.
