AN: Here is the next part.

Yuuki and Zero both moaned softly, as they began to wake up. "Well look who finally wakes up," a voice called out into the darkness. Zero blinked a few times, as Yuuki rubbed her eyes. A pair of mismatched eyes was staring at them, as Zero's eyes hardened to a glare and Yuuki hid behind Zero, not wanting to look at him. "Hahaha, Yuuki you don't have to be scared of your uncle. And Zero, glaring isn't very nice."

"I see no reason to be nice to you," Zero whispered in a hateful tone. "All you do is destroy people's lives. You're sick, you're psychotic, and one day, you'll meet your match."

Within a split second, Zero found himself held up against the wall, with Rido's hand on his throat. The air was forced out of his lungs with a force he hit the wall. The shocked child struggled, as Rido brought his face close to him. "You are going to wish you never said that." Zero's eyes widened in horror, before Rido slammed him into the wall a second time, earning a cry of pain from Zero.

Spots and darkness began to cloud Zero's vision. Rido dropped him, as air filled his lungs. He earned a kick in the gut from Rido that sent him into another wall. The soft cries from the child were hardly audible. Zero coughed out some blood into his tiny hand before he felt the darkness overcome him. He landed on the ground with a thud.

"Please, stop it," Yuuki begged. "You're hurting him." Rido turned his attention to the young girl, as her brown hues stared at mismatched ones. He walked over to her, as a noble picked up the unconscious silverette.

"Don't worry, little Kuran, I won't kill him," Rido whispered, as he leaned close to her. She swallowed, as she backed up from him. "But I can't promise he won't be experiencing any pain." Her brown eyes filled with tears at his words, as he began to laugh. He glanced at his subordinate. "Make sure she does not leave and does not interfere. Sadly, she'll never see that Kiryu again." His tone held sarcasm in it, as the tears she built up began to fall.

'Zero-kun, no,' she thought. 'Please...'

Kaiya glanced at the nobles and Kaien before she continued. "He is the progenitor of the Kiryu bloodline—one of the families with the purest and richest vampire blood. One drop would cause a noble to go crazy with lust. If any pureblood tastes it, they could gain exceptional strength. As a half-blood, my blood doesn't have the same effect if a pureblood drinks it, however, a noble will still be overcome with lust." Ichiru's eyes hardened, as she gently placed her hand over his. "Nii-san, no one here will bite me."

"Oh if they do I'll shoot them with this and kill them," he whispered gesturing with his anti-vampire gun.

Takuma raised a hand, as the siblings looked at him and nodded. "If you're both purebloods, how are you both vampire hunters?" He had seen the guns strapped to them, as Kaiya looked at Ichiru who motioned with his hand.

"Because of the blood we both have," Kaiya whispered. The expressions from the nobles all held confusion. "While it's true I'm half, my brothers also have hunter blood in them."

"But how?" Kaien asked because even he didn't know that.

"Because as babies, father, and mother gave Zero and me hunter blood mixed into our drinks," Ichiru answered softly. "We were never aware of this. He stopped when we turned 5 because by then we had enough to be hunters."

"That's why none of you are a part of the council," Kaien said. "You are all hunters, even though you're also purebloods. That's why Toshiro is one as well."

"Well that's one reason," Kaiya whispered. "Now getting back to the story. Our father met the Kuran family when Kaname-sama's parents and Rido were all mere children. He was friends with their father, the last Kuran King. When he abolished the monarchy to create the council, Rido was consumed with rage. He murdered his parents and became the man we all know. It took time, but his fiancee was friends with our father. Rido believed our father stole her from him. That woman was Shizuka Hio. Our father threatened Rido to stay away from him and her. Thus ending their friendship." Kaiya stopped for a moment.

"Are you alright?" Kaien asked her and shook her head no.

Ichiru placed an arm around her. "Shizuka and father were happy and eventually had Zero and myself. Not too long after our birth, she was taken by the council from lies and claims Rido gave them. Father was ordered by the council to spy on the Cross family. He met Uncle first and then he met our mother. It surprised many that a pureblood and a hunter fell in love. There's more to that story than I can share. That's Father's right to tell you. However, before Zero and I were 17, Rido found out about our family and tried to kill us. Mother was killed, Kaiya was severely injured and before anything else, father grabbed me and ran. It left Uncle and nii-san there. He cursed Zero to be a child and he was stuck like that for over 1,000 years with no memories. He also stuck Uncle Kaien at his age for that long. Just recently the spell lifted and now he is able to age again."

Takuma looked at Ichiru who nodded. "So Zero is actually over 1,000 years old?" Ichiru nodded, as everyone aside from Kaien was dumbfounded. That little pureblood was actually older than all of them. "I am inclined to ask, did Kaname-sama know about this?" Ichiru shook his head. "Hmm...he might know, seeing him and Toshiro-sama in the condition they are in."

"Rido is a monster that I want dead," Ichiru growled as he glared at the ground. He was shaking because his rage was so great. He looked at Kaiya, who looked at him. He let a sigh and cleared his throat. "Where is she?"

"Currently, Shizuka is trying to evade the council after a few friends released her," Kaiya explained. "Shizuka could even be near Zero, but she wouldn't know who he was." Ichiru crossed his arms and closed his eyes. They could tell he was trying to focus on Zero because they were twins. After a few minutes, he gasped and opened his eyes. "Nii-san, what's wrong?"

"I...I can't feel Zero anymore..." his voice trailed off. "But that only means one thing..." Shock and horror were apparent on his face.

"No, he can't be dead," Kaiya exclaimed. The nobles, Kaien, and the Kiryu siblings all rose to their feet. She turned to them. "We need to go find Shizuka and fast." With those words, the group left the Academy in hopes they could find the one woman who might be able to help.

Zero gave a soft moan, as he began to regain consciousness. His head felt heavy and he had no idea why. He felt extremely weak and he was tightly bonded so he couldn't move. He tried to move his head up, but without any strength, he couldn't. He heard a dark chuckle and he opened his eyes. He could only see the darkness at the moment.

"Are you having a hard time lifting your head, little Kiryu?" Zero managed a weak growl, making Rido smile.

"As I told you before, I see no reason to be nice to you! You already destroyed my family! What more do you want?" His voice was so hoarse his voice cracked a bit. Tears formed in his eyes, as he wanted nothing more than to escape this hell he was in.

Rido grabbed Zero's chin rather roughly and forced his head up. It caused the child to bite down hard on his lips. Blood dripped down his chin. The man smirked at the sight of tears filling up in those amethyst eyes. He chuckled, as the tears started to fall. "Now Zero, if I told you, it would ruin the surprise for your father, who won't wake up for at least 10 years."

The horror was evident in Zero's eyes. Rido released his chin, as Zero felt the weight of the helmet on his head force it down. He felt defeated. "What are you going to do to me?"

"You won't remember anything, not even my name,' he whispered, as Zero trembled. He turned the device on and Zero screamed. He felt as though his mind was ripping apart, as Rido stood there with a grin.

From her cell, Yuuki could hear Zero's screams of agony. She closed her eyes, covered her ears, and began to cry. She couldn't do anything to help her friend and Rido was doing something terrible to him.

It felt like forever, but it only lasted a few minutes. Rido turned it off, as Zero went completely limp in her bonds. One of his subordinates approached the unconscious child and removed the helmet from his head. Rido smirked, as three of his subordinates removed the chains from the child. One of them held the unconscious Zero in his arms. He crossed his arms, as he stared at them. "Put him near the hunter association. With any luck, the first hunter to cross him will kill him. He is a pureblood after all."

"Yes Rido-sama," they all bowed before disappearing into the night with the child.

An odd feeling fell over Rido as he glanced around. After a few minutes, he shrugged it off.

Suddenly his door flew open and he found himself up against the wall by his throat. He let out a soft grunt and smirked at the sight. "Well hello again, Shizuka."
