AN: Here is the next part.
The beautiful pureblood narrowed her pink hues at the man before her. "Don't be coy with me, Rido. You destroyed my family and you will play for that." A group of nobles and a pureblood entered. "You know what to do." Was all she said, as she released Rido, and the pureblood that was with her held him by his throat. She turned from him and followed the scent she picked up. She headed down a hallway that led to a staircase. She followed it down and came around a corner gracefully. Shizuka stopped, as the noble standing there froze at the very sight of her. "Well hello there..." Her gaze drifted down to see the youngest Kuran she knew about, Yuuki. However, aside from this noble, she did not see Zero or any other boy for that matter. "It would be wise for you to release her...now." Her voice grew stern and harsh. With a quick bow, he did exactly as she ordered. "Now go before I deal with you." In a moment of seconds, he was gone. She left the deary house, letting them do what they did best, torture the man who caused her so much pain and suffering over the years.
Just as she was about to leave the property, the group from Cross Academy arrived. Shizuka raised a brow at them, as her eyes landed on the siblings. "You have nobles and a human as company?"
"To be fair he is my uncle by blood, Shizuka-hime," Kaiya explained and then she saw the woman nodding a bit. "And these nobles are part of Kaname-sama's circle."
Her eyes widened a bit. "Hmm, I know the Kuran boy was still alive. However, his uncle is currently being dealt with. Sadly Zero is not here, I arrived a little too late."
"I know for a fact he was killed," Ichiru replied strained. "My brother is dead, and my connection with him is gone. We are your children, do you not care?" Kaiya placed a hand on Ichiru and shook her head.
"I care more than you will ever know, Ichiru," Shizuka whispered. "After all I was the one who named you and your brother thinking I would be happy with Toshiro. Rido is a monster that destroyed our family. Speaking of Toshiro, where is he?"
"Rido had someone perform a sleep spell on him and Kaname-sama," Kaiya whispered. Shizuka took a deep breath before she revealed Yuuki hidden in her garments. "Yuuki-sama! You found her alive."
"Can you tell us if Zero was here?" Kaien asked her and she nodded, looking extremely upset.
"Rido told me I would never see Zero again and the screams," she covered her ears and shut her eyes. Tears were streaming down her face. "I didn't think he would stop screaming. I don't know what was done, but it was terrible." Kaien pulled Yuuki into his arms and hugged her tight. "After that, Zero's presence vanished...I think Rido killed him."
Ichiru closed his eyes, as the tears fell. Kaiya put her arms around him. He pulled her close, as the Kiryu siblings cried at the loss of their brother.
Suddenly the unmistakable smell of blood and death assaulted the air. Rido was killed thus ending his horrible reign of terror.
Hundreds of miles away, a young pureblood lay on the snow-covered ground. His strands mixed in with the snow, and his skin was slightly darker. A young man with a young child were walking around until they both stopped.
"Otou-san, what is that feeling?" The child clutched to his jacket, as the man placed a protective hand on his shoulder.
"That is a pureblood, a powerful one," he grunted. He withdrew his shotgun, as they approached a dark path. They both stopped, as the young pureblood came into view. "Wait...that's a child...we're sensing him?" He approached the child and it was indeed the pureblood he was sensing. Normally he would just rise his gun and end the creature's life, but something told him not to. The child saw him lower his gun.
"You're not going to kill him, are you?" The child hoped that his adoptive would allow him to live.
"No, but we need to get him out of here if we hope to keep him alive," he whispered, slowly picking up the weak child in his arms. Something horrible was done for him to be in such a state. "Come, we must return to the manor," The child said no more as he followed them into the dark night. Neither of them had no idea who this pureblood child was yet they both felt compelled to protect him.
AN: Apologies for the delay and the short chapter, but with the flow I am going with, it is wise to end it here.
