MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU FILTHY ANIMALS!

That's a reference, not an insult... I love you guys :)

Consider this your late Christmas present. You've all made it onto the nice list!

A few seconds passed whilst the two locked eyes.

Only now did Cassie realize that the wolf had done everything in her power to make her comfortable and to stay by her side.

"T-t-thank you..." Cassie said whilst shying away placing her hand on the back of her neck.

"It's nothing kiddo. As long as your feeling better." Roxanne walked to take a seat.

"U-u-uhhhm... H-how long have you been here for?" Cassie whimpered with a stammer.

"I arrived 20 minutes late, I'm sorry Cassie, I really am." Her apology was sincere, eyes widening.

"I know this party room was booked for 10 to 11, I'm sorry I was late. I had things that I needed to tend to which brought me behind schedule. And, I'm sorry I had to see you at your worst, Cassie." Roxy tilted her head and gave a small smile.

"Believe me... I know how it feels." Roxanne thought about how she and Cooper met.

"But... Sometimes meeting someone at their lowest can be a good thing." She looked at her clenched paws and stared at them, maintaining her smile.

"You... you remember me?" Cassie questioned.

"Of course I do. You're unforgettable! One of a kind!" She jumped up to hug her young.

"Thank you Roxy." Cassie whispered quietly.

"I'll be here for you whenever you need me Cassie." The wolf replied.

"So... Obviously something's happened to get you like this." The animatronic sat down in a chair next to the girl whilst she resumed placing her arm over her shoulder.

"Mind sharing superstar?" She presented her hand to Cassie, as a gesture of sorts. The young girl took up her offer and grabbed her enormous fingers her whole hands, emphasizing Cassie's youth.

Her entire hands held Roxy's index and pinkie finger respectively. Cassie was comforted, as a warmth inside began to grow, and a smile began to blossom.

"Well... It's my birthday today." Cassie told the wolf.

Roxy looked on in anticipation for what she was going to say next. She pulled the girl slightly closer whilst making eye contact.

"Go on."

"But... No one showed up..." Cassie grew upset again, her mouth trembling and her voice quaking.

"Oh Superstar..." The animatronic pulled the girl in for another hug as she began crying into the wolf.

"I thought they were my friends! B-but they d-didn't even show up!" Cassie bawled in the arms of her angel, her muffled cries hurting Roxanne just as much as herself.

"There, there Cassie dear... I'm so sorry... I had no idea."

"A-a-a-and then I thought y-y-y-you weren't going to show up!" She cried out, still muffled.

"Superstar..." Roxy consoled the young girl, keeping the hug and gently patting her on the back.

"Poor thing... How could they do that to someone as amazing as you, hey Cassie?" Cassie hugged and squeezed her tighter.

"That's it... let it all out sweetie. Cry all the bad feelings away. Roxy's here for you." The wolf felt what could only be described as a mother's bond beginning to for with the child. She needed help and protection, she would provide all and more.

"You're my superstar."

The girl had stopped crying and began to instead enjoy the comfort of the animatronics' arms. She felt like a baby being coddled.

"Feeling better?" Roxy asked, giving Cassie space to breathe.

"Yeah. Much."

"Good." The two smiled.

"Thank you. You're the best."

"What did I tell you, whenever you need me, superstar."

Silence fell down on the two.

...

...

...

"Tell you what Cassie, it's still your birthday. Let's make it the best one yet! You don't need your friends in order to do that. You just need to do whatever it is you want to do! So tell me, what do you want to do today?" Roxy asked.

"I... I wanted to hang out and be around them..."

Roxy sighed.

"How could they do that to you? Betray you like that?" She paused.

"I'll tell you what. You. Me..." She pointed to the girl then herself. "We are going to have the best time today... And we are going to celebrate your birthday! Just us!" Roxy roared with excitement and enthusiasm.

"But... I'm only with you for two hours today... and one of those hours is almost up." Cassie looked at the tablecloth where her tears lay for the past hour.

"..." Roxy thought for a moment.

"Ah, screw the rules! You can hang out with me today!" Roxanne happily exclaimed.

"R-really?"

"Except for show times... For sure! Anything for my superstar." She rubbed the youth's hair vigorously.

"In fact... What cake did you order Cassie?"

"A carrot cake... Why?" she hesitantly replied to the wildish wolf.

"You're going to have as much of it as you want. I'm going to go get two for you... be right back!" She hastily got up and left the girl on her own.

Cassie was in awe. The whole day... with the star of the show... The star of her show... It was as if she saw a shooting star, and all her wishes came true. Roxy was right. She didn't need those losers. She was too good for those losers! She still couldn't believe it. The whole day with the glorious Roxanne wolf.

Best. Birthday. Ever.

With the day well under way and their stomachs full of cake, Roxy and Cassie walked around the Pizza Plex doing anything and everything they wanted.

From Bonnie's Bowls to Mazercise, they were doing it all. And they were doing it all fast, too. The seemingly impossible scenario of the Pizza Plex running out of attractions to satisfy the hungry guests was seeming more and more plausible.

Cassie's day was flipped on its head. Turns out all she needed was a bit of Roxy. Speaking of, the wolf was having a blast too. She never usually spent too much time with one kid, due to her need for approval from so many people, and the kids tended to get jealous easily. To her this was refreshing, and also comforting in an odd way.

Roxy felt this child was more important than all the other kids at the mall today, despite merely meeting her an hour or two ago.

Minutes had passed since the first show. Cassie had received special access to front row seats to watch the band, specifically Roxanne. It was fantastic.

The two were currently at the bakery indulging in foods with the highest sugar content possible, because why not. Something fun to do together, as they waited for their cakes to finish baking in the highly advanced and shockingly unsafe faz-ovens.

"Hey Roxy, do you ever have birthdays?" Cassie munched on a cupcake as she talked.

Slightly taken aback, the slick wolf replied.

"Oh, umm... No. I don't. Why do you ask?"

"Because you celebrate all these kids' birthdays yet you don't get to have one of your own. That doesn't seem fair." The statement made Roxanne think.

Truthfully, the only days Roxy looked forward to were Fridays, for obvious reasons.

"I don't even know when I was born. Or... made. But Fridays are nice. Their like mini birthdays, but they're better because you get one once a week instead of once a year."

Ding!

Cassie eagerly put her oven mitts on and excavated the duo's cakes.

Actually, what day is it today? Roxy wondered. She did some quick math in her head. Oh My God! It's Friday and I almost forgot!

Cassie eagerly hovered a knife over the steamy cake as Roxy's expressions changed lightning fast.

"Eat up quickly Cassie! There's a few people I want you to meet!" Roxy rushed her pup.

How could I forget? Oh I'm so sorry Cooper!

Perplexed, Cassie obliged nonetheless. She already knew all the animatronics, what was she talking about?

'ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz'

Gregory and Freddy looked over the sloth, then at each other in confusion and amusement.

"I really don't get it." Gregory began, as he gestured to the zoo that was the atrium.

"Does he not get enough sleep at home?" Freddy asked.

"No. He gets plenty. Probably more than he should." Gregory grew displeased. "He said he was going to get me something to eat! I'm starving!"

"Hmm. Good call superstar, it is approaching lunchtime. Perhaps we should embark to get some food."

"Freddy..."

"Oh, right. Sorry. Leave to get some food."

"I would but I don't have any money. Dad didn't give me any. He probably wasn't counting on falling asleep before he could give me any." Gregory crossed his arms, looking at the lifeless body.

"Well, I suppose we could wake him up. It's a miracle he's asleep in the first place." Freddy suggested, pretending to shake his shoulder to wake him.

"Pbbbbbbbt. If you do, that'll be your problem. He gets beyond cranky when he gets woken up."

"ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

"Then again... That's really annoying." Gregory contemplated.

Freddy sighed. "I will just wake him." The bear loomed over Cooper and gently shook his shoulder.

"ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz... eugh... Baby... please don't go... Roxy... ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz..."

The two looked at each other again

"Ummm... Let's ignore that..." Gregory commented. "Try again. A bit harder this time."

"ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz... eughhuu I love you... where are you going? Please Roxy... zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZ" despite mumbling and moaning as he subconsciously spoke, there was terror as he slightly trembled saying those words.

Gregory, now slightly embarrassed spoke up. "Just hit him."

"Absoloutely." Freddy replied.

"ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz- OWW-Whaa-Who???" He jolted up with confusion and looked around swiftly to see the bear and his son.

"-Oh... I'm assuming that was Freddy... Ouch..." He rubbed his back and winced.

"Apologies. That may have been too hard."

"Well... Thanks I guess. Woke me up from an awful nightmare. Its not even night either. Daymare..." He looked out at the vast atrium.

Gregory and Freddy exchanged glances, well aware of what his nightmare was.

"Anyways... Its lunchtime. Dad, can I have some cash please... Pleeeeeaaaase?" Gregory pleaded.

"Yeah, yeah... whatever." He begrudgingly leaned down in front of him into his bag to pull out some notes.

As he was, Gregory and Freddy were greeted with the surprise entrance of a strangely stealthy duo, managing to make barely a squeak as they shuffled in front of the two, Roxy barely 30 centimetres from Cooper.

"5... 10... There you go that's 20- HOOOLYYyyyyy hell..." He sighed in defeat as everyone in front of him began to laugh.

Humiliated, he held the cash out with an obnoxious frown, heart rate having spiked like a sugar high.

"I'm too good... aren't I?" Roxy spoke as she plucked the money and gave it to Gregory.

"Nice to see you too. And who's this?" The question brought Freddy's and Gregory's eyes.

"Hmm. Glad you noticed. Everyone, this is Cassie." She introduced the girl, who appeared to be shy, retreating behind the wolf's legs and tail.

"Don't be shy... They're not murderers. I hope." She briefly glanced at Cooper for less than a second before looking back at Cassie.

"What- Hey... Nuh uh, No. Explain yourself. You're not getting away with that one wolf... How am I a murderer?" He pressed. Gregory giggled, with Freddy also finding some amusement.

"Looks like I'm not the only one with good eyes." Roxy replied. "Or am I just sooo attractive that you can't look away..." She flicked her hair and spoke seductively.

Dammit, she is hot. He admitted to himself, almost biting his lip.

Cooper audibly sighed. "Ok. Good job Rox. You're ego's full. You can acknowledge everyone else." By this time Cassie was no longer behind Roxy, instead in her own space to the right of her.

"ooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooo!!!" Gregory and Freddy egged them on. The purest form of entertainment money could buy, right here.

Wha- why you...

Cooper and Roxy stared intensely at each other, seemingly going for round 2, before subtly nodding and smiling at each other. No one noticed.

"Hey Freddy..." Roxy spoke up. "Last time I checked... There is a number higher than one..." Freddy grew stumped. "I think you seemed to have forgotten we're supposed to interact with everyone... Not just one..." She pointed at Gregory. Cassie accidentally let a few giggles slip.

"ooooooOOO-"

"Don't you start boy..." Cooper warned Gregory. "Or it'll be back to the dog kennel."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

Everyone stared at him, slightly surprised.

"Too real? Not funny?" He looked around. His voice gradually died down. "Okay my bad... For the record I uh... don't... uh... keep him in a dog kennel..."

"..."

"Mmkay, well I tried." Cooper finished.

A few awkward seconds of silence went by, before Roxy loudly clapped, regaining the group's attention.

"Okay! Heheh... Umm... Anyways. Cassie. As you know, this fine bear here... Freddy Fazbear. Kind of hard to forget that one." She reluctantly thought about all of his promotional material compared to hers.

"Pleasure to see you again Cassie. He put his paw out for a handshake. Cassie lent him her hand, as Freddy's paw wrapped around it like a burrito before gently and tenderly shaking it.

"Hi again." Cassie spoke, more confident but still slightly timid.

"This is Gregory." Roxy guided Cassie along.

"Hi. I'm Gregory." The boy stiffly replied, reluctant, but eventual in making contact with the girl's hand for a handshake.

"Hi." Cassie replied.

"She doesn't have cooties you know..." Cooper mocked. Gregory shot him a fiery glance that unknowingly told him to shut the hell up dad... through gritted teeth.

Roxy repaid his wit with a disappointed glance, of which Cooper noticed and was hurt by the most. Freddy didn't care.

"So now I'm the punching bag?" He looked around.

"And last but definitively least... That's Cooper." Roxy smiled as she spoke. "No one likes him."

Cooper sighed again.

"That's me. Hey there kiddo." He half focused his eyes on Roxy during their handshake.

I love you so much. But c'mon Roxanne. C'mon sweetie.

Now having been semi acquainted with the group, Freddy, Cassie, Roxy and Gregory decided to go get lunch. Lunch consisting of carrot cake and ice cream.

The 4 headed off with Roxy leaving last, whispering something into Cooper's ear and kissing him on the lips before she left, swaying her hips and tail whilst walking away.

He could sleep easy tonight, knowing that no one likes him. But Roxanne wolf loves him.

Hopefully. Right? Surely. She HAS to.

Gregory and Cassie went on to finish the day as good friends, and kept in touch with each other, occasionally visiting one another.
