Dark Hair & Crooked Smirks
Lily Evans knew what she liked: salted caramel sweets and the bitterness of dark chocolate. The savery family recipe for a Poor Man's Pie and the sweetness of strawberries fresh from the garden. The unique loops of her grandmother's handwriting and the vibrant colors of her mother's roses.
She also knew what she preferred about people as well. Knowledge and learning was important to her, but not so much that it could be lost in its own purpose. Matched with a down-to-earth personality that wasn't too uptight or too carefree, made the perfect person in her eyes. They also had to be funny, maybe a little witty and snarky, but not too much. Charming but not overly prince-like about it; she didn't need a knight in shining armor or anything like that. Someone that understood her and looked at her as more than just a trophy to be won over, someone who saw her as she was.
So when Lily noticed a wild, dark-haired young man occupying her favorite café she frequented, she was intrigued. When he met her emerald gaze and offered a dazzling smirk, she realized that she had other, more physical preferences that she fancied. So she decided that it might be something new and interesting to explore.
This all started by smiling back and tossing her flaming red hair back over her shoulder as she took the vacant seat in front of him.
