F3: Welcome to chapter 6 of my Volume 5. Last time Star and company have a new objective and that is taking down a few major gang leaders. However lets get back to Weiss and company. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth. With that said Let's Dive In.

Volume 5-6: Onward to Argus.

Having adverted a fight in the tavern with the Branwen woman Weiss, Adam, and Pepper were back on track to their current objective and that was getting to Arugs. They three of them walked toward the port and luckily they haven't missed the ferry yet. Weiss paid for three tickets for them to board the ferry but they made sure to pick a room away from any prying eyes so that they could have a little bit of some privacy.

The ferrys horn rung through the skies as it departed from the port and sailed out onto Lake Matsu much to their relief.

"Finally a little bit of a break. Now we can relax for a bit. It's about the three day trip to get their." Pepper replied as she sat on one of the two beds.

"I guess so. We can take it easy for a bit until we arrive." Weiss added as she placed her katana down next to the other bed.

"We could walk around the ferry a little bit. Like Pepper said it'll take us three days to get there and then it's a straight walk to Argus." Adam stated before turning to Weiss.

"Though why did you pick a room that's further back?" He asked.

"Well to be quite honest. I felt like we were being followed by someone. So I thought picking a room further away might gives us some space away from whoever is following us." Weiss answered.

"Really? Who would that be?" Pepper asked.

"I'm not sure but I just wanted us to be on guard just incase." Weiss replied.

Pepper hummed a moment before getting an idea "What if we can lure the person out?" She said.

"You mean set a trap." Adam added.

Pepper nodded "Yeah. If we can lure whoever the person is then we can figure why they are following us. Who knows... this person could be a spy or something." Pepper replied.

"Well it's worth a shot. Though prehaps we should do it after we get something to eat. I'll order some room service for us." Weiss replied as she used the phone that was in their to phone in room service for their room.

It took about fifteen minutes as the food was brought to their room. While they were eating there food Adam spoke up.

"So how are we going to lure this person in?" Adam asked.

"Well we could use one of us as bait and see if this person follows us and the other two jump the person and then we can interrogate this person." Pepper replied.

"Okay so who's going to be doing that?" Adam questioned.

"I can do that. I'm sure whoever it is will follow me." Weiss said with confidence.

"Alright. Let's finish eating and then put our plan into action." Pepper said as the three of them finished their meals. After they finished their meals they headed out of their rooms to implament there plan.

Weiss was up first as she began walked about while Pepper and Adam waited for them to spring the trap. Weiss looked around the ferry but most importantly out toward the lake as it was rather quiet at first as the ferry just sailed onward. It was rather peaceful as Weiss got caught up in looking at the lake she didn't notice someone coming next to her.

"Wow. So this is Lake Matsu. Never thought I'd get to see it." A boys voice said next to her.

She looked to see the boy that looked around her age if not a year older but he seemed rather harmless as she looked back to the lake.

"Yeah. It's quite something isn't." Weiss simply said.

"Much better than my home but then again coming from a farm doesn't say much does it." He said.

Weiss looked at the boy again continuing the conversation "You work on a farm?" She questioned.

"Yeah. Pine Farms. It's a bit far from everything but it's rather quiet too." He said before remembering something.

"Oh right. I forgot to introduce myself. Oscar Pine. Nice to meet you." Oscar said extending a hand.

Weiss was a little skeptic but felt like he wasn't a threat for a farm guy as she took his and shook it with her metal arm.

"Weiss Schnee." She introduced herself. Inside Oscars head Ozpin noticed the metal arm.

"Hm... she must've lost it during the fight at Beacon." He voiced his thoughts to Oscar.

"Um... this might be a little sensitive but... how did that happen? I mean you don't have to answer if you don't want to." Oscar said.

Weiss seemed not to be bothered by this as she answered his question.

"It got sliced off when I was trying to get out of Vale. It was a little rough but I got the hang of it later." Weiss replied.

"Though I have a question for you Oscar if I may ask." Weiss added.

"Oh um... sure." Oscar said a little bit nervous about what she might ask.

"Why are you following me?" Weiss asked getting straight to the point in which he flinched at that.

"I'm sorry for following you but are you Weiss Schnee?" Oscar asked.

"Yes. But again why were you following us?" Weiss questioned again this time a little more forcefully.

"Um... it's rather hard to explain but what if I told I'm kinda trying to get to Haven Academy as well." Oscar replied.

"Really? That's not much of an explaination." Weiss said a little skeptic looking at him strangely.

Oscar seemed a rather nervous trying to come up with an explaination.

"Oscar allow me to take over." Ozpin replied.

Oscar went stiff as his eyes glowed slightly as his eyes had a small tent of green in them now.

Weiss noticed this and saw his posture change as he also place his hands behind his back looked at Weiss almost gentlemanly.

"My apologies Mrs. Schnee. It's been a rather trying day at most." Oscar suddenly said his voice sounding like more mature and almost familiar.

Weiss blinked a moment before she spoke again "Are you okay?" Weiss questioned.

"Yes Mrs. Schnee. Although I believe we should move things else where to talk." Oscar replied.

"Of course." Weiss said as she followed Oscar wondering what he would want to talk about.

They went toward the deck of the ferry which their weren't many people around.

"This should work for the time being." Oscar replied.

"Okay now what is it that you wanted to tell me?" Weiss asked.

"Mrs. Schnee what if I told you that there is another soul within this body and is currently talking with you right now." Oscar stated.

"I'd say you're a deranged lunatic." Weiss added crossing her arms.

"Very well it would seem you need some sort of proof." Oscar said before thinking and then spoke.

"When you and Miss Orion came to Beacon your hair was dyed black to hide the suspicion of you being a Schnee. Instead calling yourself Louve instead." Oscar replied.

What he said surprised Weiss cause there weren't that many people aside from her team that know about that which made her step back a moment.

"How do you know that?" Weiss asked nervously.

In which Oscar answered back "Are you familiar with a book call 'A Man of Two Souls.'?" He asked back.

Weiss was familiar with it as it was one Blakes books she reads on her free time but then that made her wonder about the man in front of him. Could the story really be true.

"Who are you? Really?" Weiss questioned.

"I'm happy that you asked. Though I'm surprised you haven't recognized my voice yet. Former Headmaster Opzin." Oscar/Ozpin stated.

This claim made Weiss wide eyed a moment before speaking again.

"But how!? The news said that you died at Beacon." Weiss proclaimed.

"Yes. My body died however my soul is another matter. Whenever the body my soul pocessed dies my soul exits the body in order to locate another host. Unfortuncantly it was this body that it found." He said.

"So eccentially you really can't die. But how does that even work?" Weiss asked.

"I know you have a lot of questions Weiss. However I believe we should speak to the others about this as well. What I'm concerned about is why has Adam Taurus joined forces with you?" He asked.

"I'll try and answer that as best I can." Weiss said as the two of them began walking back toward where Pepper and Adam are.

Meanwhile in the forest Yang was preparing herself to fight who would aparently be her aunt as Synin glared at Yang with her weapon at the ready. Yang was rather nervous as this could really be a fight that she couldn't win as she stared back at Synin almost like she was eying her as prey.

"C'mon blondie I don't got all day you know." Synin said impatiently.

Yang gulped nervously as she walked out to meet her but a hand on her shoulder stopped her as her mother stared back at her.

"Watch for her semblance and be careful." Raven warned as Yang nodded before walking just acrossed from Synin.

"You should've taken my offer Yang. You'd have been a fine addition to the tribe. After all you are a Branwen. Last chance to back out cause I promise you when we start your not walking out of this." Synin warned trying to intimidate Yang.

Yang took in a breath and let it out slowly to calm her nerves before getting into a fighters stance but this time it was more of a relaxed stance than any keeping her right foot back while putting her right hand into a fist and the other hand opened palm.

Ruby, Neo, and the others watched for one of them to make the first move as the winds slightly blew over them as a single leaf fell from a tree. The leaf floated down while Yang and Synin glared at each other almost testing one another to see who would make the first move. The leaf continued to float down before it finally touched the ground gently.

Without warning Yang blasted behind her giving herself a boost to speed toward Synin. The woman only smirked as she easily sided jumped the punch before swing her weapon at her with the blade facing directly at Yang. The blond barely dodge the attack but that left her open for another attack from Synin as she started swinging at Yang repeatedly. Yang dodged, ducked, and sidestepped but no matter what she did Synin continued to be persistant in her offense like she was trying to kill her.

Suddenly the moment Yang dodged one of the attacks Synin took the opportunity to kick Yang in the gut knocking the wind out of her before attacking with her weapon again this time it connected with Yangs right as she felt a burning pain coming from their. Yang punched forward to knock herself back away from the woman and felt around her right cheek. Almost immediately she felt liquid and pulled her hand back and noticed her fingers had blood on them.

The woman had managed to cut through her aura and cut her cheek.

"What you going to cry little girl?" Synin taunted. Though Yang wasn't going to fall for that as she learned the last time she fell for a taunt ended with her in the nurses office for a full day.

"Nope. I'm just warming up." Yang said.

"Well let's step it up a notch!" Synin shouted her weapon shifting to it gun bow as several strings came from the top and bottom of the bow and dust cartridge was loaded on the side of the weapon as she pulled the back of the weapon back almost ready to fire like an actual bow.

She let go of the it firing a bullet round from the barrel. Yang barely dodged it but Synin was once again on the offensive this time attacking from a distance instead of up close. However this time Yang had decided to answer back with a barrage of her own punching the air firing shot after shot from Ember Celica as each shot sail or landed near Synin cause small craters to be formed.

Synin had to stop shooting a dodge the attacks but she had another strategy. She touch the trigger of her weapon and created a small dark red glyph and one on her hand and pointed her weapon at Yang again.

Raven saw this and knew that her sister was using her semblance "Everyone take cover!" She warned as the rest of them found cover behind trees or rather large rocks.

"Try dodging these!" Synin shouted at fired but it continued to fire at an alarming right almost like it was an automatic weapon. Yang tried to dodge most of the bullets but some of them managed to hit their target damaging her aura which was fueling her semblance. Yang tried firing back but everytime she tried a shot from Synin made it impossible to counter attack.

"C'mon Yang! You can do it!" Ruby cheered her sister on but Yang was having a difficult time dodging the bullets as some of them chipped away at her aura.

"You can't dodge them forever!" Synin shouted continuing firing her bullets at Yang as one of them clipped the back of her left foot causing her to trip and fall to the ground.

"Can't you do something. Yang is going to get slaughtered." Jaune said turning to Raven.

"I can't. Once an Agna Kai is delcared no one is allowed to intervene until the fight is over." Raven replied as she hoped that Yang would be victorious in this fight. Synin stopped shooting at Yang which was a surprise for all of them as Synin lowered her weapon.

"I'm giving you one chance. Surrender or suffer." Synin offered.

Yang was breathing rather slowly trying to gather herself as she stood up but the pain from her left foot made impossible to stand for long as she was generally limping on it. Though despite the pain Yang held strong as she glared at Synin.

"Sorry. No deal." Yang replied.

Synin only sighed at this "Then you leave me no choice. Shame, you would've made a good bandit. Now you're as good as dead." Synin replied as she pointed her weapon at Yang going for a kill shot. However Yang smirked at this as she chuckled at Synin.

"Man... you really don't know that you've just been suckered in didn't you." Yang said with a smirk on her face.

"And why's that? Have you finally lost your mind?" Synin questioned.

"Nope. You thought you had me on the defensive with that weapon of yours since you have the better range. But I think you forgot one little thing." Yang stated.

"And that would be what exactly?" Synin questioned again.

"Try looking down." Yang said. Synin paused a moment and glanced down and noticed a small hand sized object that looked like a bomb.

"While you were shooting at me I carefully placed bombs around the area. You were so concentated on me that you didn't even notice." Yang smirked a with a flick of her wrist the bombs activated and exploded causing a large smokescreen around the area completely blinding Synin and everyone else.

Synin looked around to find Yang but to no avail.

"Show yourself!" Synin shouted.

"With pleasure!" Yang called out behind Synin. She turned to try and shoot Yang again but this time she didn't get the chance as Yang was right in her face and her hair pulsed with energy as her eyes were red.

Synin didn't have time to react as Yang delivered a powerful punch but not at her instead Yang aimed at the ground. Her punch connected with the ground causing it to shake destroying the ground beneath them blasting Synin upward making her lose grip of her weapon. Yang jumped upward getting above Synin and then delievered another punch to Synin sending her toward the ground taking a good dent of her aura.

Yang then fell down on top on Synin stomping on her chest. Synin roared in pain as she felt a rib break from the young girls stomp. Yang then clenched her fist and raised it above her head like she was going to punch her.

"Yield." Yang ordered.

"Like hell I'll yield to you." Synin stated as she threw Yang off her before getting up but the pain from her chest made it rather difficult for her to breath.

Yang got up quickly but still limped from her left foot.

"Using your semblance that much has wasted a lot of your aura. I don't want to hurt you but if you keep fighting you are going to get hurt or even worse." Yang replied trying to reason with Synin.

"You don't have the guts to kill me. In this world it's either kill or be killed. My sister may have trained you but I can tell that you're too soft against your opponent. That's why you will lose." Synin replied.

Yang readied herself as Synin charged at her while the others watched her hoping Yang had a plan.

"Guess that leaves me no choice but to force her to quit." Yang thought and waited for Synin to get close. Synin reeled back her right hand and threw it at Yang as hard as she could. However Yang side stepped it but this time grabbed the right arm tossed her over her shoulder onto the ground.

Very quickly and in a swift motion Yang grabbed her left hand with her own before passing her right hand over Synins head grabbing the wrist. She then placed her right foot to her side. Then got on the ground and wrapped her left leg over Synins belly. Yang then laided down on her shoulder passing her right leg over Synin head and began applying pressure for an armbar.

Synin began shouting in pain as she felt the pressure from Yang trying to escape it was starting to become too much for her as she tried to endure it.

"Yield! Yield and I'll let go!" Yang shouted at her trying to convince her to stop fighting.

"SCREW YOU!" Synin roared back trying to fight it off. At that point Yang had no choice as she continued to apply pressure to the arm until hearing a snap. Synin roared in pained as Yang let go of her and got up rather quickly and walked away from Synin.

Synin got up but her left arm was rather awkward as it was broken.

"I've taken away your shooting arm. I suggest you give up now. I don't want to hurt you any further." Yang replied.

Synin held her left arm as she stood up "You think I'm just going to give up that easily. I can still fight." Synin said as she unsheathed a short sword from her left hip holding it in her right hand.

"As long as I can still stand. I will not give up." Synin replied as she charged at Yang again going in to try and kill her.

Yang had to put a stop to it as she narrowly dodged the sword but she kept on moving backwards trying to avoid Synin as she was coming up with a way to stop her from hurting herself any further. That was when Yang glanced back and saw a tree behind her and figured she could use that to her plan. Yang pressed herself against the trees trunk.

"DIE!" Synin shouted as she thrusted her sword at Yang. Yang jumped aside as the sword stuck into the wood of the tree. Taking the advantage Yang punched the blunt end of the sword with enough force for it shatter making Synin lose her footing and fall to the ground before Yang delivered a powerful kick to Synins stomach making her fall to the ground but that also shattered her aura. Yang stood above her with her weapon pointed at her.

"Now will you give up. You're aura is broken and your arm is pulled out of socket. Don't make me hurt you any further." Yang insisted.

Synin figured out her options. Her left arm was broken and out of socket, her aura was shattered, her first weapon is out of reach, and her sword was destroyed. With a frustrating sigh Synin had no choice but to give in.

"I... yield." Synin said as Yang lowered her weapon and moved away from Synin.

Just at that time Shay and the rest of the bandits showed up and surrounded Yang and others.

"Synin! Are you alright!?" Shay called out heading toward her.

"Do I look alright to you." Synin stated.

"Don't worry. We've got them surrounded and we can take them-" Shay started but Synin stopped him.

"No! Raven called an Agna Kai... and lost." Synin replied making him paused a moment.

"You... lost but doesn't that mean..." Shay started.

"I didn't lose to Raven... but to her daughter. They wagered that if I won they would come back to the bandit camp but if I lost they would be free to go. I must honor the Agna Kai." Synin stated.

"Seriously! So we're just going to let them go!" Shay said.

"Unfortuncantly... yes." Synin answered.

"Then we're free to leave then right." Raven replied.

Shay had to honor the Agna Kai "Fine. Just get out of here." He stated not exactly liking letting them go.

Yang limped over to Raven as her foot was still hurting from the fight as Shay helped Synin up to her feet before wrapping her good arm around his neck before walking away from Yang and the others.

"Guess that means we can leave then." Yang said.

"Let me take a look at that foot Yang." Jaune said as Yang allowed him to look at her foot. Jaune grasped hold of her foot and concentrated his aura into his hands. Yang felt a warm feeling into her foot and noticed that wound was starting to heal already.

After a moment Yangs foot healed completely as she tested it as she didn't feel any pain in it.

"Whoa! It doesn't hurt anymore. How'd you do that?" Yang asked.

"Well remember when we crashed landed. Nora got pretty banged up. Out of desperation my semblance must've kicked in which allowed me to amplify a persons aura and heal wounds much faster." Jaune replied.

"Thanks Jaune." Yang thanked.

"Well. We better get going. Next stop Higanbana." Raven said.

"We've got a long way to go without our bikes it'll be a long walk." Yang said as the others nodded as they got headed out making the long walk to Mistral.

Meanwhile back on the ferry Weiss was walking back to her room with Oscar or Ozpin, whoever was in control right now and was trying to figure out how to explain to Pepper and Adam about him or how will Ozpin react to Adam.

They were outside of the room that Weiss and her friends were staying in as they stopped just outside of it.

"Um... now before we go in professor I want you to keep an open mind about Adam. I'm sure he can explain better than I can." Weiss replied.

"I'll keep my judgement until then." Ozpin added. With that said Weiss opened the door and walked inside the room seeing Pepper and Adam playing a game of cards to pass the time. Though it was Adam that noticed Weiss came into the room along with the young boy next to her.

"Okay. Who's the kid?" Adam asked.

"Um... that a rather difficult thing to say. This is Oscar Pine and... honestly I think it's best that he explains it." Weiss answered gesturing to Oscar.

Oscar remained stoic at first and looked directly at the other two before speaking.

"It's good to see that you're alive Miss Orion." Oscar stated.

Pepper crossed her arms at him with a small glare "I don't think we've met before." Pepper said.

"Oh we have Miss Orion just in a different form. I believe you and Miss Rose told me about the incident involved during the Beacon Dance." He stated.

Pepper eyes slightly widen at that "But... how would you...?" Pepper asked.

"Know." Oscar finished.

Then it suddenly hit her as to who is in front of her "Ozpin." She simply said as he nodded.

"That's right. You caught on rather quick." Ozpin stated.

"I thought he died during the attack on Beacon at least that what the reports stated." Adam replied.

"Apparently while his body died his soul remained intact allow him to reincarnate into Oscar." Weiss explained.

"So you're saying Ozpin's soul is occupying Oscar's body. That's a lot to take in." Adam stated.

"Yes. However there is something I wish to know from you Mr. Taurus." Ozpin replied rather firmly.

"And what would that be?" He asked.

"What is your intention? A member of an anti-human organization suddenly traveling with two of my formers students. One of them being a Schnee no less." Ozpin said firmly.

"I have no intention of hurting either of them or using Weiss for anything. I have a different goal and that is to stop the attack of Haven Academy. Plus... someone made me realize that what I was doing... was causing too much bloodshed." Adam said looking at Weiss how only slightly blushed at him.

Ozpin looked at Adam for a minute almonst like he was trying to gauge his conviction as Adam only stared back with his one good eye. Ozpin only smiled a bit before he nodded.

"Very well. You're conviction is sound. Now if you'll excuse me but I'll take my leave." Ozpin said as he lost the green glint in his eyes as now Oscar was back in command.

"Um... sorry if that was a little intense for all of you. Especially after the bombshell he kinda dropped on you." Oscar said.

"It's fine. We're kinda used to getting figurative bombshells dropped on us." Pepper added.

"Okay... so where are we heading?" Oscar asked.

"Argus. It has a train station we can use and then we can take that to the Wind Path." Adam added.

"Why there? Isn't that a town where it's out of the way of the authority." Oscar said.

"Yeah but apparently Adam knows of a person that might give us information about the White Fangs movements." Pepper replied.

"I thought he already knew about their movements." Oscar added.

"Not everything. The new high leader only told everyone else that after Beacon they were going to attack Haven and when. Who knows if that might've changed." Adam stated.

"Well I guess you do have a point. With this ferry it'll take about three days till we get to the port town. Then it's a day hike to Argus." He said.

"Then we better get some sleep. It'll be getting dark soon." Weiss replied.

"Hope you all sleep well." Oscar said as he left the three of them be leaving the room and returned to his own.

The three of them looked toward the two beds and were trying to figure out how the sleeping arrangments would go.

"You two can sleep on that one and I'll take the other one." Adam said as Weiss and Pepper nodded in agreement.

Weiss and Pepper took one bed and Adam the other as they now fell asleep but before Adam giving one last look toward Weiss before sleep finally took him.

F3: And that ends chapter 6. Yang defeated Synin and are now heading toward Higanbana and hopefully Kuroyuri. Oscar now joins Weiss and company to Argus. Things are certainly fairing well for them but wonder what else is to come. Don't forget to leave behind a comment and please make sure to follow/favorite this story too. With that said this is Fireuser3 and I'm Out.
