Pokeball Factory
The group is currently in the Laverre City Pokemon Center in the caferteria, looking at a map while Nazz's Pyroar and Dedenne were being treated.
"So, where's the nearest gym we haven't been to yet?" asked Jonny. Kevin looks at the map.
"There's a gym in a place called Anistar City." said Kevin. If we travel east from here, we can get to Route 15; after that, we should reach a place called Dendemille Town, then we through Route 17, then after that, we should reach Anistar City."
"Hey; if you're going to Route 17, you may need to dress warm." said a nearby trainer. "It always snowy there."
"Hey, thanks." said Nazz. A boy and a girl entered the cafeteria.
"This stinks. I really wanted to go on a tour of the Pokeball Factory." said the boy.
"Pokeball Factory?" asked Jonny, getting the girl's attention.
"Yeah; it's where pokeballs are made and delivered all over Kalos." said the girl.
"Why can't you go on the tour?" asked Nazz.
"Some people in red suits told us to leave." replied the boy. Kevin, Rolf, Jonny, and Nazz looked at each other.
"Red suits?" said Nazz.
"Sounds like Team Flare." said Jonny.
"What are those good-for-nothings up to?" asked Rolf.
"Don't know, man; maybe we should check the factory out." said Kevin.
"Yeah; if something's not done about this, there probably won't be new shipments of pokeballs for the PokeMarts." said Nazz.
"And people won't be able to catch Pokemon." said Jonny. Kevin turned towards the boy and girl.
"Where's this factory?" asked Kevin.
"Just north of here." replied the boy. Kevin puts the map in his backpack while Nazz went to the nurse, who informed her that her Pokemon's were fully recovered. After she gets them back, the group exited the Pokemon Center. They then head to the north part of the city where they soon reach a large factory complex that had a pokeball symbol on the front part of it.
"Whoa." said Kevin.
"So, this is where pokeballs are made." said Jonny. As they look down the path leading to the front doors, they see a Team Flare member standing guard.
"We need to get by that dork if we want to get inside." said Kevin.
"Rolf will take care of him." said Rolf as he starts walking towards the guard who notices him.
"The factory's closed, kid; so, beat it." said Team Flare.
"Rolf will not!" said Rolf.
"Team Flare has taken over this factory, and I'm here to make sure that people like you don't interfere with our plans." said the Team Flare member.
"Hey, man; everyone in Kalos needs pokeballs." said Kevin.
"Well, we're more stylish than everyone in Kalos, so we deserve them more." said the Team Flare member.
"Stylish?" replied Nazz. "I could try sewing something up in the dark and it would be more stylish than the tacky outfits you guys wear."
"How dare you!" said the Team Flare member as he takes out a pokeball.
"Rolf will battle you!" said Rolf as he takes a pokeball out of his pocket. The Team Flare member throws his pokeball, releasing an Electrike; and Rolf throws his, releasing his Diggersby.
"Electrike, use Bite!" said the Team Flare member. The Electrike runs at Diggersby and bites down on its side; fortunately, he doesn't flinch.
"Diggersby, use Mud Shot!" said Rolf. Diggersby launches globs of mud at the Electrike, doing super effective damage, and reducing its speed.
"Electrike, use Quick Attack!" said the Team Flare member. The Electrike moves quickly towards Diggersby and slams into his stomach.
"Diggersby, use Strength!" said Rolf. Diggersby reaches into the ground with his ears and pulls out a large rock which he slams down onto the Electrike, doing enough damage to knock it out.
"NOOOO!" yells the Team Flare member. He returns Electrike to its pokeball. "I better warn the admin!" He then tosses Rolf pokedollars and runs inside the factory.
"Way to go, man!" said Kevin. Rolf nods as he returns his Diggersby to his pokeball and begins picking up pokedollars.
"What now?" asked Jonny.
"I guess we let ourselves in and give ourselves a tour; and while we're at it, we'll take on any Team Flare dorks we see in there." said Kevin.
"Right on!" said Jonny as he and the others run inside the factory. Once inside, they look around at all the machinery used in pokeball manufacturing, and conveyor belts moving them along the assembly line.
"Rolf is amazed by these dohickeys." said Rolf.
"What are you kids doing in here?" asked a female Team Flare member who was standing near a front desk.
"We're taking you dorks, down." said Kevin.
"Oh, really?" replied the Team Flare member as she takes a pokeball out of her jacket and throws it, releasing a blue, bipedal Pokemon with a horn protrusion coming out of its head, an orange sac under its chin that's inflating and deflating frequently, and coming out of its wrists are orange claws.
"What's that?" asked Nazz as she takes out the pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Toxicroak, the Toxic Mouth Pokemon, and the evolved form of Croagunk. Its knuckle claws secrete a toxin so vile that even a scratch could prove fatal." said the pokedex. Kevin throws his pokeball, releasing his Golett.
"You guys go on ahead." said Kevin. "I'll take this dork on."
"You got it, Kevin." said Nazz as she, Rolf, and Jonny run past the Team Flare member and hop on one of the conveyor belts to move further into the factory.
"Golett, use Mud-Slap!" said Kevin.
"Toxicroak, use Sucker Punch!" said the Team Flare member. The Toxicroak thrusts a hand that's coated with dark energy into Golett, doing super effective damage, just as Golett flings mud into its eyes, also doing super effective damage, plus lowering its accuracy.
"Use Magnitude!" said Kevin. Golett slams its fist into the ground, sending a large shockwave at the Toxicroak, hitting it, and doing super effective damage.
"Toxicroak, use Feint Attack!" said the Team Flare member. The Toxicroak tries to drive one of its claws into Golett, but thanks to its lowered accuracy, it misses.
"Golett, use Mega Punch!" said Kevin. Golett runs at the Toxicroak and lands a hard punch right across its face, and thanks to Golett's Iron Fist ability, it did enough damage to knock it out.
"This can't be!" said the Team Flare member. She tosses pokedollars to Kevin and drops to her knees.
"Dork." said Kevin as he picks up the pokedollars, returns Golett to its pokeball, and runs to catch up with his friends.
"Hey! You kids get off that, it's not a ride!" said a Team Flare member, pointing at Jonny, Rolf, and Nazz who were on a conveyor.
"I don't know, this is kind of fun." said Jonny.
"I said get off!" said the Team Flare member. Jonny hops off the conveyor belt and lands in front of the Team Flare member while pulling out a pokeball, prompting the Team Flare member to do the same.
"Get him, Jonny!" said Nazz as she and Rolf continue riding the conveyor belt.
"Go, Clauncher!" said Jonny, throwing Clauncher's pokeball and releases him.
"Golbat, go!" said the Team Flare member, throwing a pokeball and releasing a Golbat.
"Clauncher, Swords Dance!" said Jonny. Clauncher's eyes glow light blue and glowing blue swords appeared around Clauncher and they point at him; Clauncher becomes surrounded by a red aura, greatly increasing his attack strength.
"Golbat, Wing Attack!" said the Team Flare member. Golbat flies at Clauncher and strikes him with one of its wings, knocking him back.
"Crabhammer!" said Jonny. Clauncher jumps at Golbat and strikes it with his bigger pincer; due to Wave Incense powering up Clauncher's water type moves, as well as Swords Dance increasing his attack strength, Crabhammer was more powerful than it originally was. Golbat was sent plummeting into the floor with swirly eyes.
"No way!" exclaimed the Team Flare member.
"Great work, Clauncher!" said Jonny. At the conveyor belt, Nazz hears the pokedex chime and she looks at it.
"Hey, Jonny; it says here your Clauncher just learned Water Pulse!" Nazz called out to Jonny.
"Cool!" said Jonny. The Team Flare member returns Golbat to its pokeball, then pulls out another one.
"Mightyena, go!" said the Team Flare member, throwing the pokeball and releasing a Mightyena. "Mightyena, use Bite!" Mightyena lunges at Clauncher and bites him, dealing damage, but not making him flinch.
"Okay, Clauncher, let's try that new Water Pulse move!" said Jonny. Clauncher aims his bigger pincer at Mightyena and opens it; a ball of water forms in it and he launches it at Mightyena. Due to Clauncher's Wave Incense and his Mega Launcher ability, Water Pulse was stronger than it normally was. Mightyena was hit by the attack and was knocking to the ground. It stumbled around, dizzily.
"Mightyena, use Assurance!" said the Team Flare member. Mightyena tried to ram Clauncher, but it rammed into a steel support beam of the factory instead, hurting itself.
"Clauncher, Flail!" said Jonny. Clauncher swings his big pincer wildly at Mightyena, hitting it, and knocking it out.
"Way to go, man." said Kevin who arrived on the conveyor belt.
"Thanks, Kev." said Jonny. "You were great, Clauncher." Clauncher raises his big pincer in victory. The Team Flare member returns Mightyena to its pokeball.
"You made me look bad, kid!" said the Team Flare member. Jonny looks at Plank, then back at the Team Flare member.
"Plank says you don't need our help making you look bad." said Jonny. "Plank thinks Team Flare does a good enough job of that on your own." The Team Flare drops to his knees and throws pokedollars at Jonny.
"Dissed by a piece of wood." muttered the Team Flare member. Jonny picks the pokedollars up, then returns Clauncher to his pokeball, and joins Kevin on the conveyor belt.
Nazz was currently facing a female member of Team Flare while each were holding a pokeball while Rolf watches.
"Scraggy, go!" said the Team Flare member, throwing Scraggy's pokeball and releasing it.
"Farfetch'd, go!" said Nazz, throwing Farfetch'd's pokeball and releasing him. "Farfetch'd, use Swords Dance!" Farfetch'd jumps into the air and spins rapidly and his attack strength increases.
"Scraggy, High Jump Kick!" said the Team Flare member. Scraggy jumps into the air and comes down toward Farfetch'd with its knee out.
"Dodge it!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd jumps aside, dodging Scraggy's attack, making it crash to the floor, hurting itself. "Now use Aerial Ace!" Farfetch'd flies towards Scraggy while surrounded by white streaks of light and rams into Scraggy, dealing super effective damage, and knocking Scraggy out. "Way to go, Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd raises his leek and cheers. The Team Flare member returns Scraggy to its pokeball. She puts it away and pulls out another pokeball.
"Mightyena, go!" said the Team Flare member, throwing the pokeball and releasing a Mightyena.
"Farfetch'd, use Fury Cutter!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd leaps at Mightyena and slashes it with his leek, dealing super effective damage.
"Use Assurance!" said the Team Flare member. Mightyena charges at Farfetch'd and rams him, knocking him to the ground, but he gets back up.
"Fury Cutter once more!" said Nazz. Farfetch'd leaps at Mightyena and slashes it with his leek while going past it. Farfetch'd lands on his feet and does a pose; Mightyena stands in place for a few seconds before it collapses.
"NO!" exclaimed the Team Flare member.
"Way to go, Farfetch'd." said Nazz.
"Farfetch'd did quite well." said Rolf. The Team Flare member returns Mightyena to its pokeball.
"You won this time!" said the Team Flare member. She throws pokedollars at Nazz and runs away. Kevin and Jonny arrived on the conveyor belt.
"You guys doing okay?" asked Kevin.
"You bet." replied Nazz. Kevin sees a flight of stairs that led up to a catwalk where he sees more members of Team Flare. He and Jonny hop off the conveyor belt and the group walks up the stairs. Upon reaching the top of the stairs, they were approached by another Team Flare member.
"Are you the kids who are giving us trouble?" asked the Team Flare member.
"You got a problem with that?" asked Kevin.
"As a matter of fact, I do!" said the Team Flare member as he pulls a pokeball out of his pocket and throws it, releasing a large, purple, bloblike Pokemon with black diamonds going around its waist, and yellow whiskers on its face.
"What's that?" asked Nazz as she pulls out the pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Swalot, the Poison Bag Pokemon, and the evolved form of Gulpin. It gulps anything that fits in its mouth. Its special enzymes can dissolve anything." said the pokedex.
"If it's the evolved form of Gulpin, then it's probably a poison type." said Kevin.
"Rolf will handle this!" said Rolf as he steps forwards and throws a pokeball, releasing his Delphox.
"Get him, Rolf!" said Nazz as she, Kevin, and Jonny run on ahead.
"Delphox, use Psyshock!" said Rolf. Delphox holds her staff out and a ball of purple energy forms in front of it which fires off a strong beam of psychic energy that hit the Swalot, doing super effective damage.
"Swalot, use Sludge!" said the Team Flare member. Swalot sucks in and spews out a large glob of black sludge which hits Delphox.
"Delphox, use Psybeam!" said Rolf. Delphox fires off a beam of multicolored psychic energy at Swalot, hitting it, and doing super effective damage; Swalot starts to stagger around dizzily a bit.
"Oh, great; Swalot's confused!" said the Team Flare member. "Swalot, hurry and use Body Slam!" The Swalot tries to lunge towards Delphox, but in its confusion, it slams, headfirst, into a steel support beam, knocking itself out.
"Rolf is the winner!" said Rolf. The Team Flare member returns his Swalot to its pokeball, then drops to his knees, and gives Rolf pokedollars.
With the others, they were reaching a small room on the upper level of the factory; they entered the room and found themselves in an office. They saw a Team Flare admin with two female Team Flare members, one with green hair and lipstick, wearing a red suit with a green tie, and green goggles, and the other with short purple hair and lipstick, wearing a red suit, purple tie, and purple sunglasses, standing in front of a desk with a man in a gray suit behind it.
"Come now, work for Team Flare." said the Team Flare admin. "If you help out, we wouldn't have to carry all these pokeballs by ourselves. "Or with a contribution of five million pokedollars, you can become a member of Team Flare."
"What are you all thinking?" asked the man. "I won't forgive any group who try to take all the pokeballs for itself!"
"Let's not waste our time with this person." said the green haired Team Flare member.
"Agreed. Let's just blow this place to smithereens." said the Team Flare admin.
"Don't even try it!" exclaimed Nazz. The Team Flare members turned around.
"Intruders!" said the Team Flare member.
"You kids; please help me!" said the man.
"You're so desperate that you actually ask kids for help?" asked the Team Flare admin. "I guess I'll just have to extinguish your little glimmer of hope." She steps forward while pulling out a pokeball while Nazz steps forward while pulling a pokeball out of her pocket.
"Dedenne, go!" said Nazz, tossing Dedenne's pokeball and releasing her. The Team Flare admin throws her pokeball, releasing a Scraggy. "Dedenne, use Nuzzle!" Dedenne rubs her cheeks with her paws, and they begin surging with electricity. She runs to Scraggy and rubs her cheek against it, dealing damage to it. Scraggy becomes surrounded by electricity and it begins twitching.
"Looks like Scraggy's paralyzed." said Kevin.
"Scraggy, Headbutt!" said the Team Flare admin. Unfortunately for Scraggy, paralysis stops it from attacking.
"Thunder Shock!" said Nazz. Dedenne releases electricity from her body and it hits Scraggy, knocking it out. "Yeah!"
"Great work, Nazz." said Kevin. The Team Flare admin returns Scraggy to its pokeball and she pulls out another.
"Houndoom, go!" said the Team Flare admin, throwing her pokeball and releasing a Houndoom.
"Dedenne, Volt Switch!" said Nazz. Dedenne forms a ball of electricity in her paws, and she launches it at Houndoom, hitting it. Dedenne returns to her pokeball and another of Nazz's pokeballs open, releasing her Pyroar.
"Houndoom, Bite!" said the Team Flare admin. Houndoom runs at Pyroar and bites her, dealing damage and making her flinch. "Now use Assurance!" Houndoom runs at Pyroar and rams her, knocking her back.
"Use Rock Smash!" said Nazz. Pyroar leaps at Houndoom and hits it with one of her front paws, dealing super effective damage, and weakening Houndoom's defense.
"Bite!" said the Team Flare admin. Houndoom runs at Pyroar and bites her, dealing damage, but not making her flinch.
"Headbutt!" said Nazz. Pyroar rams her head into Houndoom's, knocking it out.
"You did it, Nazz!" said Kevin.
"Way to go, Pyroar." said Nazz. The Team Flare admin lowers her head and returns Houndoom to its pokeball. She tosses pokedollars at Nazz's feet.
"There's no need to go all out for a pitiful president like him." said the admin. The other two Team Flare members step forward.
"Leave these kids to us, admin." said the purple-haired Team Flare member. Kevin and Jonny step forward.
"We'll take these two on." said Kevin.
"Get 'em, guys." said Nazz. Kevin, Jonny, and the Team Flare members each pull out a pokeball.
"Liepard, come out!" said the green-haired Team Flare member, throwing a pokeball and releasing a purple, feline Pokemon with tan forelegs and underbelly. Nazz points the pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Liepard, the Cruel Pokemon, and the evolved form of Purrloin. Stealthily, it sneaks up on its target, striking from behind before its victim has a chance to react." said the pokedex.
"Manectric, come out!" said the purple haired Team Flare member, throwing a pokeball and releasing a blue, canine Pokemon with a spiky yellow mane and yellow fur around its front feet and backside. Nazz points the pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Manectric, the Discharge Pokemon, and the evolved form of Electrike. It discharges electricity from its mane. It creates a thundercloud overhead to drop lightning bolts." said the Rotom Phone.
"Chestnaught, let's go!" said Jonny, throwing Chesnaught's pokeball and releases him.
"Greninja, come out, man!" said Kevin as he releases Greninja from his pokeball.
"I'll take on Manectric." said Jonny.
"Then Liepard's mine." said Kevin. Jonny and Chesnaught face the purple haired Team Flare and her Manectric.
"Manectric, Fire Fang!" said the Team Flare member. Manectric charges at Chesnaught while its mouth was covered in fire and it bites Chesnaught, dealing super effective damage.
"Rock Smash, Chesnaught!" said Jonny. Chesnaught's right arm glowed white and he smashes Manectric with it, damaging it and weakening its defense.
"Use Fire Fang!" said the Team Flare member. Manectric lunges at Chesnaught while its mouth was covered in fire.
"Use Spiky Shield!" said Jonny. Chesnaught slams his fists together and a green shield covered in spikes forms on his arms. Manectric crashes into the shield and bounces back, being dealt damage.
"Needle Arm!" said Jonny. A green orb of energy with spikes forms on Chesnaught's arm; he runs at Manectric and hits it with his fist, knocking Manectric back.
"Thunder Wave!" said the Team Flare member. Manectric releases yellow rings of electricity from its mane and they hit Chesnaught. He becomes covered in electricity. "Now use Quick Attack!" Manectric charges at Chesnaught with incredible speed and rams him, knocking him back.
"Try using Seed Bomb!" said Jonny. Chesnaught breaks through his paralysis, surprising the Team Flare member and releases glowing green seeds from his mouth and they hit Manectric, knocking it out.
"Great job, Chesnaught!" said Jonny.
"Very good, Jonny." said Rolf.
Meanwhile, Kevin's Greninja was battling the green-haired Team Flare member's Liepard.
"Liepard, use Fake Out!" said the Team Flare member. Liepard quickly moves forward and swipes its claws at Greninja, barely missing his face, and startling him enough to make him flinch and fall over, hurting himself.
"Oh yeah?" says Kevin. "Greninja, use Quick Attack!" Greninja quickly moves at Liepard and slams into it.
"Liepard, use Slash!" said the green-haired Team Flare member. The Liepard moves at Greninja and slashes him across his chest.
"Greninja, use Water Pulse!" said Kevin. Greninja releases a watery shockwave from his hands, and it hits Liepard.
"Liepard, use Fury Swipes!" said the green-haired Team Flare member. Liepard unleashes a barrage of slashes at Greninja, striking him repeatedly.
"Greninja, use Smokescreen!" said Kevin. Greninja releases a spray of smoke from his mouth which covers the area he was in.
"Liepard, use Fury Swipes!" said the green-haired Team Flare member. Liepard moves into the smoke and swipes at where it thought Greninja was but doesn't hit anything.
"Greninja, use Water Shuriken!" said Kevin. Greninja appears from Liepard's right hand side and throws a barrage of shurikens made of water at it, hitting it multiple times.
"Liepard, use Slash while it's exposed!" said the green-haired Team Flare member. Liepard hits Greninja with another strong slash, knocking him back. Greninja drops to one knee and was breathing hard. Suddenly, a blue aura flares up from his body.
"That must be Torrent!" said Kevin. "Greninja, use Surf!" Greninja summons up a large wave of water and rides it towards Liepard; it slams into it, doing a lot of damage thanks to his Torrent ability and Wave Incense powering up his water attacks. It proved too much for Liepard to endure and it passes out.
"NOOOOO!" said the green-haired Team Flare member.
"Wipeout." said Kevin with a grin. The green-haired Team Flare member growls as she returns her Liepard to its pokeball, and throws pokedollars to Kevin.
"Let's get out of here." said the Team Flare Admin. The lights suddenly went out, and when they came back on, all the Team Flare members were gone.
"What a bunch of dorks." said Kevin.
"We beat them!" said Nazz.
"We showed them; didn't we, Plank?" said Jonny. The factory president walks over to the group.
"Thank you, kids." said the president. "Who knows what those people wanted to do with the pokeballs.
"Probably nothing cool." said Nazz. The factory president walks over to his desk and pulls out four pokeballs that had purple tops with two domelike protrusions coming out of it, along with the letter 'M' on them.
"As thanks for saving me and my factory, I'd like to thank you each of you with a Master Ball." said the president.
"I think Eddy told us about that kind of pokeball before." said Jonny. "He said that those can catch any Pokemon, guaranteed."
"Your friend is correct." said the president. He then hands each of them a Master Ball, along with a gold orb.
"What are these?" asked Nazz.
"Big Nuggets." said the president. "You can sell them at a PokeMart for forty thousand pokedollars each. The group's jaws dropped after hearing that.
"That's a lot of money!" said Jonny.
"Rolf can buy many pokeballs and Potions with that kind of money." said Rolf.
"Thanks, dude." said Nazz.
Thanks to the actions of Kevin, Nazz, Jonny, and Rolf; the Pokeball Factory was saved from Team Flare. What lies in store for the group as their Kalos adventures continue?
