It was 1:15 PM, when he knocked on his teacher's door.
"Who is it?" Mrs. Othmar asked.
"It's Charlie Brown. I have something to say about what happened." Charlie Brown said, feeling pretty sad.
Mrs. Othmar opened her door, and she could tell by the look on his face that he regretted what had happened.
"Mrs. Othmar? I am very sorry for causing the entire situation. I didn't know what I was thinking. I decided to own up for my actions. Please forgive me, Ma'am." Charlie Brown apologized.
"Thank you for apologizing, Charlie Brown. However, as my own personal form of punishment, I'm gonna have to ask you to spend 3 days of Lunch Detention starting tomorrow. It was pretty uncalled for of you shoving a student and slamming my classroom door. I get that you were framed, but that didn't give you the excuse to do what you did. Listen, you're a great person. But if you keep doing this, it will get you nowhere in life. Do you understand where I'm going with this? Mrs. Othmar said.
"Yes, Ma'am. I understand." said Charlie Brown.
"Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow." Mrs. Othmar said.
"You too.", Charlie Brown said.
So, Charlie Brown did have to serve three days of lunch detention as Mrs. Othmar's personal form of punishment, but the bottom line is that Ethan got punished for causing the accusations, Ethan was subject to bookbag and locker inspections, and Charlie Brown got the justice he was waiting for.
