Sunset Shimmer's Walk Through The Forest
One day, a young unicorn was walking alongside a dirt trail that goes alongside a large forest near Canterlot.
The unicorn had a yellow coat and she had red, with yellow streaks, mane and tail. Her cutie mark was a sun with red and yellow coloring. The unicorn's name is Sunset Shimmer and today, for her, it was just an ordinary day.
"Ah, another perfect day," she thought as she walked, "Today is such a nice day to go out walking. Not a cloud in the sky." Soon enough, the trail that she was on lead right into the big forest.
"I know this will be splendid walk," thought Sunset Shimmer, "Through the forest." So she started her trip into the forest. "Hmm," thought Sunset Shimmer, "Sure is nice and quiet in here. Asides from the birds chirping."
Sunset Shimmer described the sounds of other animals that live in the forest from hissing snakes to the sound of deer nibbling on the small patches of grass.
"Nice deer," Sunset Shimmer said, looking at the deer, "And I'd better be careful of some of the snakes." Although the snakes in this forest are harmless, Sunset Shimmer decided to be careful anyway as she continued on through the forest.
Inside, she saw many beautiful sights and heard many great sounds.
"Wow," thought Sunset Shimmer as she continued walking forward, "This is amazing." However, after 2 hours of walking in the forest, Sunset Shimmer started to walk around in circles and thus, she immediately knew that she is lost deep in the forest.
"Uh oh," thought Sunset Shimmer, "This is not good for me." She looked left and right, but she couldn't figure out which way to go. "Maybe it is this way," thought Sunset Shimmer and she took a left turn at a certain path.
But that only got her even more lost than she already is.
"This is really bad," Sunset Shimmer thought, "This is so bad for me." So as a result, Sunset Shimmer started to panic until she said to herself, "What am I really thinking? I'm a unicorn! I can use magic to get myself out of this!"
So that's what she did. Sunset Shimmer started to use her horn to generate magic. "It's working!" thought Sunset Shimmer, "Now to figure out which way to go."
She used some kind of a trail magic spell and it created a ghostly trail of smoke that showed her which way she came into the forest in the first place.
"Ok," Sunset Shimmer thought, "If I follow this trail, it'll lead me back out into the open, where I first started." So Sunset Shimmer followed her own trail.
So in a few minutes, after following her magic trail, Sunset Shimmer ended up right back where she started, out in the open and back onto the trail outside.
"All right!" Sunset Shimmer exclaimed, "I'm back out into the open area!" She then galloped all the way back to her home.
Normally, Sunset Shimmer would have told her friends about the adventure that she had; however, she doesn't have any friends and at the time, she had no interest in making friends.
"I can't wait to see what lies in my future!" Sunset Shimmer said to herself excitedly as she reached home.
Sunset Shimmer was excited about what lies for her in the future. Or maybe too excited for her own good.
