Sunset Shimmer Thinks About Princess Celestia
The following day, Sunset Shimmer, was at her home, wandering around like she has no idea what to do in a busy building. Yesterday, she had seen Princess Celestia visit a nearby town and watched what she does.
"That unicorn, Pegasus can control the sun and the moon," she thought, "What amazing power! I've never known such a thing like that would be even possible!"
Sunset Shimmer knew that she'd missed her chance to see the sun rise that morning, but Sunset Shimmer kept of thinking about Princess Celestia nonetheless.
Although she never bothered to watch what important business Princess Celestia had, she remember the way she used her magic to lower the sun and raise the moon.
"At first," Sunset Shimmer went on, "I'd never thought it would be possible for a pony to raise or lower the sun." She was remembering the time when she had gone on her mountain climbing adventure and saw the sun rose over the mountains.
Of course, that is all that she remembers from that trip as she never thought about the pony who was with her, Odyssey. "But now, I know such a thing is possible!" Sunset Shimmer said.
She then walked outside to get some fresh air. She then thought about it some more. "I wonder," she said. Then she remembered her cutie mark.
"Oh yeah," she said, "My own cutie mark." Thus she remembered how she'd earned her cutie mark in the first place.
"I've focused my magic through the sun to help that garden grow super fast," Sunset Shimmer said, "It sure took a long time to get it right, but that was a huge success for me. But I wonder if me and Princess Celestia are linked together somehow."
Sunset Shimmer wandered around for a little bit. Then she made a decision. "Ok," Sunset Shimmer declared, "I'm going to find out first thing tomorrow morning! So therefore, to the library!"
Sunset Shimmer prepared to go inside, but then she changed her mind. "Actually," she said, "I chose to go now!" So with that said, she ran off to the local library.
She ran so fast that she'd never bothered to pay any attention to any of the ponies walking by. "Hey!" a pony shouted, "Watch where you're going!" But Sunset Shimmer never slowed down.
