Sunset Shimmer's Big Decision

The next day, Sunset Shimmer had once again left home go outside. "Once again," she thought to herself, "I need to do something today. Again! Yes, I need to decide on that."

So she ran off, and eventually, she arrived at a nearby mountain range. "All right," Sunset Shimmer said as soon as she got there, "I have no idea what to do now."

"Nothing to do now?" a voice called, "How silly of you!" Sunset Shimmer was startled. She looked around for the owner of the voice. "Over here, silly," the voice called again. Sunset Shimmer turned again.

The voice came from a male unicorn pony whom Sunset Shimmer never met before. "Hello, silly," the unicorn said. "Hi there," Sunset Shimmer replied, "My name is Sunset Shimmer, not silly!" "I see," the unicorn said.

"Who are you?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "My name is Requiem Advance," the unicorn said. "Oh," Sunset Shimmer said, "You surprised me, Requiem Advance!" "Sorry about that," Requiem Advance said, "You were just wandering about, doing nothing here. I'd thought I come along and ask what you're doing."

"I see," Sunset Shimmer said, "Well, thanks for checking anyway!" With that said, Sunset Shimmer activated her magic and teleported herself away. "Wait a minute!" Requiem Advance said in surprise, "What was that teleportation spell all about?! What do you mean checking?"

In another place in the mountain rangers, Sunset Shimmer reappeared. "That was close," she thought to herself, "Now where was I?" Sunset Shimmer thought about it for a minute. "Hey!" a voice called, "Why did you go away?" It was Requiem Advance.

"I just wanted to think about something," Sunset Shimmer answered. "By yourself?" Requiem Advance asked. "Uh, yeah," Sunset Shimmer answered. "All right," Requiem Advance said, "But can I give you some company?"

"Sure?" Sunset Shimmer answered. So Requiem Advance walked to where Sunset Shimmer is now. "You've heard of Princess Celestia, right?" Sunset Shimmer asked Requiem Advance. "Well, yes," Requiem Advance answered. "There is a school for unicorns," Requiem Advance said, "I've tried it once myself, but I couldn't do everything a gifted unicorn does. My fault."

"All right," Sunset Shimmer said, "What is this school called?" "Hmm," Requiem Advance thought, "I believe it is called the School for Gifted Unicorns. It's in Canterlot." "Canterlot?" Sunset Shimmer repeated, "That's where Princess Celestia lives in right?"

"Yes, I believe," Requiem Advance answered. "Then that is where I'm going in the future!" Sunset Shimmer declared at last. "Ok," Requiem Advance said, "If you want to." "I know so," Sunset Shimmer said.

"Now let me tell you my own stories," Requiem Advance said. "Oh brother," Sunset Shimmer groaned as she listened to many of Requiem Advance's stories for the rest of the day.

At the end of the day, Sunset Shimmer decided to go back home after she had heard enough of Requiem Advance's stories. "Well," Sunset Shimmer said, "Thanks for the day, Requiem Advance. "No problem," Requiem Advance said with a smile.

"Bye!" Sunset Shimmer said as she ran off for home. "Got to be careful around ponies like him in the future," Sunset Shimmer said to herself.
