Facing Giovani final fight

Lincoln and the group take the elevator back down from the volcano.

Ok guys, lets head to the center rest then call the family," Bobby said."

Lincoln sees an old mansion.

"Hey Blane, what's with that mansion?" Lincoln asked."

"Oh that, that's been abandoned for months, Pokémon are seen there," Blane replied."

(gets an idea)" why don't check it out, we might find some Pokémon," Lincoln said."

"Why not, we can find some for the gym in Viridian city," Ronnie Anne said."

Clyde and Bobby shrugged and went with them to the mansion. after they went inside, they split up to find some Pokémon.

"Hmm, this place looks like a place Lola would live in," Lincoln said."

"I'll say, with her obsession on believing she's a princess," Pikachu joked."

As they laugh, they didn't notice a piece of wood with a nail at the end. it breaks from the ceiling and swings towards Lincoln and Pikachu, until a bunny like Pokémon pushes them out of the way just in time. Lincoln and Pikachu look at the bunny Pokémon, it had dark grey body, light grey color at the end of its ears and red eyes.

"Thanks for the save, what are you?" Lincoln asked."

"I'm bunnelby, I've been living here for a while hoping to find a strong partner to team up with," Bunnelby replied." So far not one trainer wants to team up with me."

"Well, you did save us, so why not join us?" Lincoln asked."

"Really?!" Bunnelby asked."

"Yeah, you remind me of bun-bun," Lincoln replied."

"Bun-bun?" Bunnelby asked."

"he's my stuff rabbit back home," Lincoln replied."

"Hmm, I like the name," Bunnelby said."

"Then consider it your nickname," Lincoln said."

Lincoln uses a pokeball to catch Bunnelby.

"Awesome, a new Pokémon and a new shiny at that," Pikachu said."

"let's find more," Lincoln said."

Lincoln and Pikachu enter a room revealing to be an abandoned destroyed lab and found nothing but a book.

"what's with this weird book?" Pikachu asked."

"Looks like a journal, let's find out what happened here," Lincoln replied."

Lincoln reads the journal; he reads something shocking both him and Pikachu. the journal mentioned cloning Pokémon.

"Whoa, cloning Pikachu, Nido king and queen, but a Mew," Lincoln said." what's a Mew?"

"Mew is a mythical Pokémon with the DNA of all Pokémon," Pikachu replied." but they've been gone for years."

"I see. now only that, but creating two Mewtwo's and a Mewthree that's insane," Lincoln said." hold on there's more."

(reading the book)" after discovering Team rockets plans for the clones, with the help of this robed boy, I sabotaged the machines and free them, the free Pokémon gave me a hatful look knowing that they're clones and not real Pokémon they fled to who knows where. I hope they'll meet the right human that'll help them find a way," Lincoln read."

"Wow, they really have it ruff," Pikachu said."

(reads more)" the leader of team rocket Giovanni's mother madam was lost in the commotion, when I found her, it was too late. her last were that she molded her son to finish what she started, and he'll follow it through, Giovanni is like a child in chains wanted to be free, I hope someone will free him," Lincoln finishes."

Meanwhile with Clyde, he finds a little shiny Vulpix with its leg injured.

"it's ok, I won't hurt you," Clyde said."

He gives her an Oran berry while he uses a potion to heal its injured leg.

"There you go," Clyde said."

(blushing) "T-thank you," Vulpix said."

"You're welcome," Clyde said."

As he was about to head off, Vulpix grabs his pants with her mouth.

"what's wrong?" Clyde asked."

"I-I want to go with you," Vulpix replied."

"Really?" Clyde asked."

"Yes," Vulpix replied."

"Ok then," Clyde said."

He uses a love ball on Vulpix catching it.

After a while, the group reunite, Bobby and Ronnie Anne didn't find any Pokémon, but they found a red and yellow cube like items.

"They might come in handy, maybe professor oak can tell us about them," Lincoln said."

The group leaves the mansion and heads to the Pokémon center. unbeknownst to them, they were being watch by the very cloned Pokémon Mewthree from the sky. Mewthree's appearance was like a combination of two mega forms of Mewtwo.

"This boy is he really the one?" Mewthree asked." I'll continue to watch him for now."

Mewthree flies away.

At the Pokémon center in the afternoon, the group tells professor oak about the gym and what Lincoln discovered at the mansion while Bobby and Ronnie Anne showed the cube items.

"My, my, you really had a good battle. and the items you two have been a magmarizer and an electirizer, these two items will help Magmar and electabuzz evolve to their third evolve forms," professor oak said."

(holding the Magmarizer)" this can help Magmar evolve awesome," Ronnie Anne said."

"And Lincoln, that journal you found really surprised me, that fact that team rocket would clone the mythical Pokémon," Oak said."

"I know, and it's a good thing they're free and are avoiding team rocket," Lincoln said."

"that's good to here. by the way, Gary called me, and he told me that he got his final badge from the Viridian city gym leader," Oak said." just a heads up, the gym leader uses ground types."

"Great, the gym leader is back," Lincoln said." and we can strategize."

"You better rest up tomorrow to face the gym leader. by the way it'll take a boat ride to pallet town to viridian city," Oak said."

"Thanks professor, we'll do that after we call our folks," Lincoln said.

He turns off the videophone and the group get their Pokémon checked by nurse joy and have dinner until it reaches nighttime.

At the loud house, Daytime,

The louds were having breakfast.

"Man, that ways some battle link had," Lynn said."

"Yeah, and I bet little bro will win the last gym," luna said."

"don't get ahead of yourself third oldest sibling, Lincoln did tell us that Surge, Sabrina, and the final gym leader are the strongest," Lisa said."

"True, but link learns and uses different strategies," Lynn sr. said." by the Lisa are his Pokémon ready to be returned?"

Lisa nods. after breakfast everyone's wrist watches starts beeping.

"linky's calling," Lola said."

As Lisa puts the videophone and the transporter in the garage the McBrides and the Casagrandes drove up. Lisa turns on the videophone and sees Lincoln and friends on the screen.

"Hey guys," Lincoln said."

"Hey bro, you battle was epic!" Lynn said."

"I wouldn't call battling on top of a volcano epic," Rita said."

"Thanks, it really surprised me too," Lincoln said.

He and the others transfer the data from there pokedex while Lincoln explains what he found in the mansion.

"Whoa, cloning Pokémon, that's insane," Carl said."

"And a good thing team rocket don't have them," CJ said."

"I'm more impressed with the mansion, I would've remodeled it," Lola said."

"You mean filling it up with everything all about you," Carl snarked.

Lola growled at him.

"By the way Bobby, we saw the footage about that ghost trying to take you," Lori said." I don't care if she's a ghost or a Pokémon, I'll make her double dead!"

"Relax babe, even though she was beautiful I didn't fall for her," Bobby said." I'm loyal to my girlfriend."

Lori felt happy that Bobby didn't fall for the maiden ghost.

"It was still sweet that she stood there for years," Leni said."

"I'm still confused on how she turned to stone," Carlota said."

"at least we know that reincarnation is real," Lucy said."

The data was done transferring. everyone saw the data and pictures on the Pokémon Lincoln faced. including the two Pokémon Lincoln and Clyde caught.

"OMG that Vulpix is so cute," Carlota said."

"Even that bunny Pokémon, it looks just like bun-bun," Leni said."

"Bobby and I even found these," Ronnie Anne said showing the magmarizer." Professor Oak said that it'll help Magmar evolve."

"Amazing," Carlos said."

"Elder brother, we're about to send the Pokémon you sent us including togepi," Lisa said." we all know she can't be from her mother and father long despite the protest of our siblings."

The Pokémon get transferred.

"Thanks, Lisa, I also decided to send you my fossil Pokémon," Lincoln said."

(squealing)" please send them, I want to study them so much!" Lisa said."

"Calm down kiddo," Lynn sr. said."

Lincoln puts the pokeballs of Amura, Cubble, Brazaur, Zaptor, Saurobrum, Hadarina, and Saurotomb into the transporter and sends them to Lisa.

"Elder brother, I promise not to overboard," Lisa said."

"I'm more excited to meet the Pokémon with a gravestone on its back," Lucy said."

"of course, you are," Lori said."

"we'll call you guys in viridian city," Lincoln said."

"isn't that the place where you first encountered team rocket?" Rita asked."

"Yup," Lincoln said."

"Just be careful kiddo," Lynn sr. said."

"We will, night everyone," Lincoln said as he turns off the videophone."

Lisa releases Amura, Cubble, Brazaur, Zaptor, Saurobrum, Hadarina, and Saurotomb from their pokeballs, she and Carlos started studying them while Lucy easily bonds with Saurotomb. Amura felt nervous around the families and shoot a powder snow at Lynn sr.

Cinnabar island morning,

Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and togepi (in Ronnie Anne's arms) ride Gyrados while Bobby and Clyde ride Lapras through the sea to pallet town. after walking through pallet town they made it to viridian city.

"At the gym,

"we're here, just one more badge for me and (towards Ronnie Anne) two more for you," Lincoln said."

She nods. the group enter the gym.

At the loud house nighttime,

The louds, casagrandes, and mcbrides gather on the couch to see Lincoln's final gym battle.

and to their shock, they see the gym leader.

"YOU!" Lincoln said."

"Surprised to see me as the gym leader?" Giovanni asked as he reveals himself."

"So, you're both the gym leader and leader of team rocket?" Lincoln asked."

"How did the league not know this?" Clyde asked."

"Running the gym is a side job," Giovanni replied." now then, let's get this battle over with."

"No, this won't be a gym battle, this'll be a fight against the leader of team rocket," Lincoln said."

"Same here," Ronnie Anne said."

At the loud house,

Everyone was watching the TV to see Lincoln's final gym battle; they were shocked to see the gym leader.

"You got to be kidding me, the leader of team rocket is the gym leader?!" Lynn sr. asked."

"None of us saw this coming," Maria said."

"Now, I'm worried," Rosa said."

Back at the gym,

"Very well, I'll face you both," Giovanni said." and I'll use my strongest Pokémon."

"Fine then," Lincoln said."

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne get ready to face Giovanni. Giovanni sends out two Pokémon being a Golem and a Krookodile.

"Ok, Bruteroot let's go!" Lincoln said."

Lincoln sends out bruteroot.

"Mankey, let's go!" Ronnie Anne said."

She sends out Mankey.

"Golem use Roll out! Krookodile crunch!" Giovanni ordered."

Golem rolls towards Bruteroot.

"Dodge and use Solar beam!" Lincoln said."

Bruteroot dodges Golem's attack, he keeps dodging the roll out until he fires his solar beam at Golem's roll out. Golem looked like it was withstanding the attack, but it didn't and was sent towards the wall knocking it out.

"Dodge and us both mega punch and kick!" Ronnie Anne said."

Mankey jumps but Krookodile catches her by the tail and slams her to the ground and does it over and over. on the last slam Mankey uses her mega kick to get Krookodile to let go, Mankey uses both her mega punch and kick to Krookodile's stomach then uppercut it to the ground. Krookodile tries to get back up.

"Use body slam!" Ronnie Anne said."

Mankey body slams Krookodile knocking it out. Mankey suddenly started glowing, she grew bigger and became a primeape.

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, the challengers Pokémon win," the rocket grunt said."

"Hmm, not bad," Giovanni said as he recalled his pokemon."

Back at the loud house,

"Yeah, Mankey evolved!" Carl said."

"Two down, four to go," CJ said."

Back at the gym,

"I know about the cloned Pokémon and what happened to your mom," Lincoln said making Giovanni look surprised."

"So, you know what happened to her?" Giovanni asked."

"The fact that team rocket was founded by her just to make money from stolen Pokémon, and she was molding you to follow into her footsteps without asking if you wanted too," Lincoln replied."

"Yeah, you're more like kid chained up kid that wants his own dream," Ronnie Anne added."

"Even if that's true, it won't help you win," Giovanni said."

He sends out his Persian and Rhyperior.

"Persian use cut! Ryhperior rock blast!" Giovanni said."

Persian uses cut on Primeape by being so fast Primeape went down with one hit. Rhyperior fires a powerful rock blast by anticipating where Bruteroot was going to dodge it, Bruteroot got knocked out.

"it's a family business, you kids wouldn't understand," Giovanni said."

"How is stealing Pokémon from innocent people just to sell them on the black market a family business?!" Lincoln asked." do you know how the people and kids felt having their Pokémon stolen from them, you probably never saw them cry."

Giovanni suddenly has a memory flashback from his childhood, his child self-cries seeing his mother taking his poochyena away and selling it to the black market.

(crying) "Mother, why?" the kid Giovanni asked."

"it's all for business, and you'll learn that, so you'll take over team rocket when I retire," Giovanni's mother replied." besides Pokémon are just tools and with enough power no one would stand against us."

Present day,

Giovanni shakes that memory away.

'Why did have that memory?" he thought.' just who is this kid.'

"Two Pokémon are unable to battle, Giovanni's Pokémon win," the rocket grunt said."

"Kirlia, let's go!" Lincoln said."

"Deino, you're up!" Ronnie Anne said."

They send out their Pokémon.

At the loud house,

"Lincoln's right, how is that a family business?" Liam asked." a family farm, that's a family business."

"Working and passing down a restaurant is a family business," Lynn sr. said."

"Same with a family store," Hector said."

Everyone nods in agreement.

Back at the gym,

"Rock blast!" Giovanni said."

"Dodge and use aqua tail!" Ronnie Anne said."

Deino dodges the rock blast and uses aqua tail on Rhyperior. it was enough to knock it out.

(feeling something)" Persian, use fury swipes!" Giovanni said." (thinking) 'what's this feeling?'

"Kirila, use disarming voice!" Lincoln said."

Kirlia dodges Persian's fury swipes and uses disarming voice sending it flying.

"Now, confusion!" Lincoln said."

Kirlia uses confusion on Persian knocking it out.

"Giovanni's two Pokémon are unable to battle, the two challenger Pokémon win," the rocket grunt said."

'Why am I feeling like this?' Giovanni thought.'

He suddenly sees Lincoln as his younger self.

"Is this really what you wanted, to be like mom? have you forgotten what our real dream was?" the younger Giovanni asked."

He remembers his dream of being a researcher of Pokémon.

'I remember, I did have my own dream, but mother made me follow in her footsteps. (smiling) this kid is really something else,' Giovanny thought.

Reliving that same feeling as a kid he sends out his last two Pokémon Nido king and queen.

"Use double poison sting!" Giovanni said."

"Use protects!" Lincoln said."

Kirlia uses protect on himself and Deino. it worked but Nidoking uses its horn attack on Kirlia sending him flying to the wall.

"Kirlia is unable to battle," the rocket grunt said."

"Clever on protecting your friend, but it won't work," Giovanni said."

"Don't count me out yet!" Lincoln said." Shell Shocker go!"

Shell Shocker comes out.

Back at the loud house,

"Come on link, you got this," Lynn said."

"Fingers cross," Lori said."

(crossing her arms and legs) "Everything cross," Luan said."

"Use thrash and body slam!" Giovanni said."

Nido king and queen ran towards Sell Shocker and Deino.

"Shell Shocker, use sur!" Lincoln said."

Shell Shocker unleashes surf on the Pokémon doing some damage, Deino is seen riding surf.

"Aqua tail full power!" Ronnie Anne said."

Deino uses aqua tail on the Pokémon at full power causing enough damage to make them fall.

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, both Wartortle and Deino win, thus the victory goes to Lincoln and Ronnie Anne," the rocket grunt said upset."

Back at the loud house,

Everyone cheered on their victory.

"Alright, Lincoln won!" Lynn cheered."

"Now he's got all 8 badges!" Rita said."

"And Ronnie Anne needs two more," Maria said."

Back at the gym,

Giovanni walks up to Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.

"Well done," Giovanni said." and here are your badges."

(taking the badges)" we're only taking the badges from the gym leader not the leader of team rocket," Lincoln said."

"don't worry, team rocket is here by disbanded," Giovanni said."

Everyone was shocked mostly the rocket grunts.

"Sir, our you nuts?!" a grunt asked."

"No, I'm not," Giovanni said." this boy made me realize that this wasn't my calling."

"I did?" Lincoln asked."

"Yes, you did, and I thank you for it," Giovanni replied."

He suddenly gives Lincoln and Ronnie Anne two pokeballs with a note attached to Lincoln's.

"What are these?" Lincoln asked."

"they're Pokémon from an altered universe, think of them as gifts as my thanks," Giovanni replied." I hope we meet again."

Suddenly the gym lights turn off then on again. Giovanni was suddenly gone, and the grunts was about to attack until Togepi in Bobby's arms unknowingly sends off sleep powder on them making them sleep.

"he's gone," Ronnie Anne said."

"You know he has to pay for his crimes," Clyde said."

"Yeah, but I feel that we'll see him again," Lincoln said." now let's see what these Pokémon are," Lincoln said."

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne release the new acquired Pokémon they got from Giovanni. the two Pokémon revealed to look like kid superheroes with a mask and cape which made Lincoln and Clyde smile happily.

"Hi, I'm Lincoln," Lincoln said."

"I'm Comikid," Comikid said." so is she."

"you're Pokémon from an altered universe?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"Yup, from the wesco region," the female Comikid replied."

"wesco region?" Bobby asked."

"Yeah, it's a region close to Unova," Comikid replied."

"we'll then ace want to join us?" lincoln asked."

"Ace?" Comikid asked."

"Yeah, Clyde and I have a favorite comic superhero called Ace Savy," Lincoln replied."

(feeling inspired)" yes, and you call me ace," Comikid replied."

"What about you?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"Well, are there female superheroes?" the Female Comikid asked."

"Yeah," Ronnie Anne replied."

"Then yes," the Female Comikid said."

the four shake hands. as the group heads to the Pokémon center Mewthree watches from the sky.

'This boy really is what he said, I'll go report to him,' Mewthree thought as she flies away.

That's chapter 68, next chapter, Lincoln's helps Ronnie Anne face Brock and Misty.

As for Comikid, it's a fakemon from the wesco region. after seeing it I knew it would be partnered with Lincoln since he reads Ace Savy and give it its comic book nickname. as for the female one, it'll learn from comics and Ronnie Anne.

As for the cloned Pokémon, they'll be seen later.
