Present Day – Day 13
Asami lays down on the pullout couch, arms extended to each edge as she stares up at the ceiling aimlessly letting her mind wander in all directions. She thinks a lot about Keigo in here, and focuses on the simpler moments of their relationship where she was lost in the infancy of their connection before she desired more from him. Things were much simpler for them back then. It was just them, enjoying each other's company and being fully content with the idea that no one lived outside of their little bubble… until she ruined that.
She groans as she pushes those memories out of her mind and tries to eject herself from her current situation and place herself in a far better one.
Today is another one of those days where she's feeling down on herself. She's been in here for far too long, and her efforts to get any of the other members of the League to get her things has fallen flat. She has not seen anyone since Mr. Compress and Spinner, and no longer cares if they have all been arrested or killed.
There are some days where she just wishes she would be dead already so she wouldn't have to be trapped in this mind breaking limbo.
The front door clicks open and Asami makes no effort to rise from the bed as she firmly lays planted on her back. She hears heavy footsteps move towards her before his spiky black hair comes into view as he looks down on her with heavily lidded eyes.
"You dead, Butterfly?" he chuckles down at her with an amused smirk lopsidedly placed on his face.
"I wish," she grumbles in return.
"Come on, we aren't that bad," he says as he turns from her and she lifts herself into a seated position to see that Twice has joined him this time.
She watches as the black-haired villain moves from her to the refrigerator where he places some groceries inside, while Twice launches himself in the chair at the small kitchen table.
Neither of them seems in the slightest bit bothered with the idea that they have kidnapped someone and forced them to live in this nightmare they've placed them in.
Dabi's eyes light up when he sees how clean the apartment is and how her bed is made under her. He also can't help but notice the blue origami butterfly that he made for her resting next to the small table by the pullout bed. She keeps the gift from him by her bed instead of tossing it.
She's making the place her own, and getting comfortable in her surroundings and is accepting his gifts, so the more comfortable she gets with her environment, the more comfortable she gets with him, and the possibilities from there are endless.
Dabi places some containers on the table and Twice lifts his mask to his nose as he begins slurping on the Udon noodles they brought.
After placing the containers in the refrigerator, Dabi joins his villainous friend and spoons some of the contents into his own plate. She blinks up at the two of them as they happily eat their food next to one another.
She looks at Dabi and hates the feeling of her body eagerly clenching around nothing at the sight of him. She hasn't seen him since she shamefully touched herself at the thought of him, and seeing him in front of her, smiling with that shit eating grin of his makes her heart flutter with want, and that makes her sick to her stomach.
How could she have allowed herself to let him in like that? How could she allow herself to gain sexual stimulation from someone who has kidnapped her and trapped her in this hell hole? He stripped her of everything she held in her life, and she responds with panting his fucking name like a desperate whore.
He is your captor.
He is a murderer.
He is a villain.
He will kill you any chance he gets.
"Come join us, Butterfly," Dabi calls out to her as he pulls her from her thoughts to the sight of them preparing a feast before them. She can't help but remember the last time he was sitting at that table, and the shit she did with him. Suddenly, the hot showers are no longer worth the shame she feels in this moment.
She watches him as he spoons contents onto a plate for her, observing the same complacent look on his face as the last time she ate with him.
How can he be so calm and cool right now? Does he not remember the last time we were here? Does seeing me again not bother him as much as it's bothering me?
Maybe she doesn't have the same effect on him as he clearly has on her. He's so much better at hiding what he's thinking, and being unbothered by anything around him, and that drives her crazy. He has her squirming in his control once more, and she can't think of a way this time to regain that control.
"What do you want with me?" she asks them with tangling brows as the two villains glance over at her; Dabi with disinterest in his heavy eyes. "Why am I here? It's been weeks now and you've done nothing with me."
Dabi turns back to his food, slurping on his noodles as Twice does the same. Asami rolls her eyes and lifts herself to her feet, approaching the two villains and placing herself in front of them so they can't ignore her. "You had said I was your bargaining chip. So, do you plan on holding me for ransom or something? So then why haven't you taken any pictures of me or videotaped me to request money?"
Dabi lights up at this and she instantly regrets her words. "Would you like me to take pictures of you, Butterfly? I could think of a few I'd like to see you in," he teases with a cheeky grin and Asami inhales sharply as she bites down on her cheeks to keep her from telling him to fuck off.
"Can't you just do something with me?" she groans and when his eyes light up, she rolls her eyes and places her hands on her hips expectantly. "You're terrible captors," she tells them angrily. "Endeavor is the richest hero in all of Japan. If you want him to pay some sort of ransom, show him that I am in danger and make your demands. I am sure he'll pay something for me," she reassures herself more than she does them.
Dabi snickers at her words, shaking his head as he slurps at his broth. "The flaming shit-head isn't our target."
She blinks at him, shaking her head slightly as she wracks her mind for a bit. "Then who is?"
"Oh yeah, you thought that you were being sly with your relationship," he murmurs to himself. "I'm using you to make sure that flying fuck boy Number Two doesn't go play hero behind my back when I ask him to do as I please," he says as he shovels a dumpling in his mouth.
Asami thinks for a moment, deciphering his words when realization finally hits her. "Hawks?" she questions with a scoff. "You kidnapped me because of Hawks?" she asks with a huff in her voice.
"Oh don't act like it's that absurd of a plan," Dabi mumbles over the food in his mouth. "It's insulting to think that no one could piece it together," he says as he swallows his food and speaks clearly. "Work for him for two years, then suddenly quit, only to transfer to that flaming shit head with high recommendations from the company you just left?" he shakes his head and scoffs. "Doesn't take a mathematician to deduce you two were caught fucking and you were forced out."
He watches her carefully as her face goes completely red, the blush kissing her cheeks and bridging over her nose. She looks so cute when she's flustered like this, and Dabi only wants to press her even more. "So, where'd they catch you? Were you fucking on his desk or maybe being too loud in a broom closet?"
Her eyes are wide, her hands drop from her hips to hang at her sides and her mouth is left slightly open. Her eyes dart back and forth, focusing on nothing in the room as her mind pulls her to that day. She shakes the idea out of her head, not focusing on what he's saying.
Asami's eyes finally reach Dabi's who has a more than satisfied grin on his face at her reaction. She swallows hard, as her purple eyes focus on his glistening turquoise orbs. "I never accepted a raise while working for him. I never got any benefits out of him that no other girls got," she says trying to justify that she did nothing wrong with Hawks.
Dabi huffs at this pathetic reasoning, "didn't get the benefit from all three inches of his limp dick pounding inside you?"
Asami abhors at his disgusting words and tone with her and the revolted look in her eyes only makes Dabi light up even further.
"So, what's the plan?" she asks him, knowing that there is no use pretending that the relationship never happened. "Are you going to do anything with me? Or just keep me down here?"
Dabi opens his mouth to speak but Asami speaks over him. "This plan is shit, if you ask me," she continues as her hands reach her hips once more. "Assuming you've told him I've been captured; he's just going to focus his attempts to find me. And if you're using the fact that I'm here to do your bidding, there is only so much evil shit he can do for you before someone notices and he wrecks his public hero image."
She challenges Dabi's gaze and when he keeps quiet, she feels a strength to continue. "Which if that's what you're planning on doing, using someone newer to the scene and young like Hawks doesn't really have as much of an impact as using someone like Best Jeanist, who's been at this game for decades now. Hawks is young and fickle; it's almost expected of him to be flip floppy with his allegiance. But Best Jeanist is beloved by the public and they would rise up if someone as well liked as him turncoats to the League of Villains. Now that would stir up the general public, but Hawks with how young and impressionable he is," she shakes her head. "It won't be as big of an impact as you may think."
"In fact," she continues before he can argue with her, "the whole League of Villains' image needs to be overhauled and reevaluated. Public forums are showing that people are turning from the fame the League of Villains gained during the attacks on UA, and are focusing now more on the Meta Liberation Army that has been stirring up some followers. Your fifteen minutes of fame are over, and no one cares about what the League is up to these days."
Dabi watches her with the most uninterested eyes she's seen from him. His eyes are so narrowed that she wonders if the ass is pretending to be asleep from her assessment.
"People fear us!" Twice asserts, "Eh, she's got a point," he deadpans quickly after.
Dabi lifts himself from his chair, encroaching on the purple-haired girl until his face is in front of her and she can feel his breath on her face. He towers over her at this close of a proximity, standing a head's length above her and he stares down at her with an ice-cold gaze.
"How about this plan?" he begins as he brushes her hair from her face and behind her ear. "I dangle you over a crumbling building fifty stories in the air and see who Boy Wonder goes to save; you, or the hundreds of innocent civilians inside. Then we can see what that does to his public image."
Asami glares at him, not scared of him in the slightest since he's shown no desire to kill her to this point. "Beats being in here all day and dealing with you," she deadpans back at him.
His bright eyes glare down the bridge of his nose at her collarbone. She swallows at the close proximity of him, and he watches as her throat moves with the action.
His hand is quickly at her throat and her eyes enlarge at the swift movement. He lifts the small charm dangling from her collar with the pads of his fingertips. He blinks and his eyes are suddenly on hers as he watches her for a change in expression. "He can't track this, can he?" he asks her in a gruff tone as he holds the necklace in his hand.
"Hum?" she hums in response since she's too scared to open her mouth.
"Hawks," he says between gritted teeth. "He can track those pretty feathers of his. Can he track this one?" She blinks at him, brows entangling with worry at the sinister look in his eyes. He guesses not, seeing as how he'd be here if he could, but he doesn't say anything to her, not wanting her to know that the hero knows she's been captured.
"I don't know," she finally whimpers with a slight shake of her head.
Dabi nods once, quickly snatching the charm and tearing it off of her neck. He places the necklace in his pocket and takes a step away from her.
"Give that back!" she yells at him as she steps towards him, reaching for his pocket.
He swiftly pushes her to the side and she snarls at him as she makes another move to grab for the charm. He snatches her wrist, heating up his hand and singeing her skin. She tightens her jaw in pain but doesn't give him the pleasure of hearing her cry out.
He lets go of her and she cradles her wrist to her chest, feeling a sinking pit in her chest that she's lost the charm. It did not give her much relief here, as it was a constant reminder that Hawks was not here to save her from this imprisonment, but without it she feels she's been pushed even farther from the winged hero.
"Have we really been that terrible to you?" he asks turning back to her. "You've gotten everything you've asked for. You're staying here with a roof over your head, rather than on the streets as thousands of homeless in Japan are forced to live."
She opens her mouth to retaliate but he speaks over her, "We've been nothing but good to you; visiting you as much as we can," he begins with a shrug as his brightly lit eyes flash to her. "Which is more than I can say for that flying fuck-boy who left you how many times wanting in your apartment?" She tenses her jaw at him, not letting his words and her own self esteem issues get to her.
"Look," he begins with a labored sigh and shrug of his shoulders. "I understand we got off on the wrong foot, what with the whole 'kidnapping' thing," he says with a roll of his eyes as he steps towards her. "But in the end, have we not been better to you than he ever was?" he says taking another step as he stands dangerously close to her. "I mean, why else would you kiss me the way you did?" he asks her and her eyes glance over at Twice who's more interested in the food than the conversation being had between the two of them.
His face is practically touching hers when he leans in to say, "I felt the want in your panties, and unlike him, that was enough for me," he finishes with a whisper.
"You're really laying it on thick, aren't you," she says taking a step away from him. "I know what you're doing," she says with a snarl in her voice. "You're not going to get me to fuck you out of spite for my feelings with Hawks. And you're not being too subtle about it either."
He chuckles at her, "What's there to be subtle about? He's an asshole who hid you in the dark like he was embarrassed of you," he says harshly and her heart aches at his choice of words. "Not for me, Butterfly. I'd be stayin' all day and night with you. We'd be fuckin' 'til the sunrise."
"Not interested," she snaps at him. "In fact," she continues with more confidence. "I can tell that you've never really wooed a woman before, so here's some helpful tips," she says condescendingly as she makes a show of thinking about things by placing her finger on the top of her chin.
"Try not threatening her life, that's an easy one," she says tilting her head. "Try showing some desire in learning what her likes and interests are, and getting to know her more. Stop using manipulative and condescending pet names to appear less threatening than you really are," she finishes with a fake smile.
"I already know what you're interested in, Butterfly," he whispers quietly with a brightly lit deviance in his eyes. "Moaning my name in the shower showed me that much," he chuckles in his throat.
Her heart drops and her mouth flings open as her body ignites from red hot embarrassment. She lets out a staggered breath as her shaking legs stagger away from him. Her vision blurs as the panic sets in that he saw her in her most shameful moment. His eyes illuminate at her flabbergasted reaction to his words, loving the look of pure adrenaline pounding through her chest as she tries to focus on anything in the room but him.
"Now, will you stop denying the inevitable," he says as her eyes focus on Twice, who seems to be none the wiser to the conversation unfolding before him. "Cause I can guarantee you that my cock will feel better than those dainty little fingers of yours."
"You're abhorrent," she finally gains her wits as she glares at him with a slight snarl in her upper lip. "Regardless of what you saw, there's nothing that you can say to get me to turn on Hawks. So, if you're going to manipulate me, try to be a little better about it," she sneers at him.
He chuckles as he steps towards her, making a point of cornering her and trapping her against the wall. "Well, I really didn't want to show you this," he begins as he pulls a phone from his pocket and placing it in front of her face. "But he's forgotten about you."
She looks onto the phone, seeing a photo of Hawks embracing a light blue haired girl in what appears to be a passionate kiss. Her heart instinctively sinks in the pit of her stomach, but she swallows her feelings from coming up with a nauseous wave in a display that Dabi can see.
She tries to survey the picture to see if it's been photoshopped, but Dabi pulls the screen from her face. "Not to mention that he's teamed up with that Rabbit Hero with those thighs that any guy would wanna bury their face in. Only a matter of time until they start humping like… well like rabbits," he chuckles as his grin tears at the edge of his stapled cheek.
"Keigo would never," she returns with a breathy snap before she quickly bites down on her lip.
"Keigo, huh?" Dabi lights up as the fire of his quirk dances behind his threatening eyes with an excitement filling in his chest. "Of course," he says with a sinister deviance igniting in him.
She gulps at the intention in his eyes as they light up with the information. Her eyes desperately dart between his right and left eye, trying to search for his intentions with this information, but the wicked look in his eyes gives her nothing to work off of.
"Come on, Twice," he calls to the dual personality villain. "Time to get to work," his tone brings a shiver down her spine and panic sets in.
"Dabi," she calls out to him with a crack in her tone. "Where are you going?"
"Don't worry, Butterfly," he turns to her as Twice jumps up behind him. "I'll be back before you know it," he says as he turns away from her, only to quickly go back to her to say, "Oh, and keep your fingers to yourself, I'll come back to show ya what you're missing later," he finishes, winking at her as he leaves her with a heavy close of the door.
Panic builds in her chest and she wonders what Dabi will do with this information. Her shaking hands cover her lips at what she's just done. Keigo told her how important it was that no one ever know his name, and with the knowledge that Dabi now knows, she panics at what the scarred villain will do with this information.
