Flying erratically through the air, Tsubaki panics. After being up in the sky for quite a bit, she can feel herself beginning to lose altitude. She's going to be landing hard very soon if she doesn't do something. Her movement is too uncontrollable to try and land on her feet. Not seeing any other way out, she uses transformation jitsu.

Transformation jitsu needs concentration, which is hard to have when you've been launching into the air and are falling at a high speed. Between the pain of the hit to her head and being dizzy from all the flying, it's very difficult to do. Still, she manages to transform into something simple, a small pillow, like the ones in her unit's bedroom. In this soft form, she descends and ends up hitting the top of a tall tree. The pillow form greatly reduces the damage she would have taken, though she still feels some pain as she turns back into a human and grabs onto the branches.

Tsubaki rests up there for about a minute, before jumping down to the ground. Looking around, she sees no one else. She has a bit of time to assess her condition. Her head hurts, and her body hurts a bit, but she'll be fine. She's lucky to still be conscious after being slammed to the ground by the Man. She didn't think her first interaction with a man would be so painful. She pictured her first meeting with one as calmer, and more private, not shared with the rest of the village. She pictured Hana and Konoha there, acting as chaperones, as she and the boy she would be meeting would talk and-

Wait, this isn't the time to be distracted! Tsubaki shakes her head, she's thinking too much. The village is in danger. She must put aside her thoughts about men for now. Every second wasted here imagining things is a second where another student is potentially getting hurt. As one of the girls put in charge, she is responsible for all of them, and every injury they receive is a failure on her part. She begins to run back to the village. It's very dark out here, but she speeds up while trying not to trip and fall over. It hurts to keep up this pace, but she ignores it, because the other girls are depending on her as leader of-

WOOSH!

Tsubaki is suddenly picked up into the air by something. She can't even react with how fast she goes up. After settling in place, she realizes that she's been trapped in a net, and is held tightly in place. This must be one of Mizubashou's traps, and boy was it hidden, especially in the darkness. Being moved quickly doesn't help her pain, and the net squeezes her so tightly that she cannot even manage to reach for a kunai to cut the net. As expected of the village's trap master, she's created a trap that a regular person would not be able to escape from. Tsubaki does have other ways of getting loose beyond cutting the rope though. She once again transforms, this time into a small object, a cup. She falls through the net thanks to her smaller form, and changes back to normal to land properly. It hurts to change shape like that after everything that's happened tonight, but it was better than trying to use something risky like fire jitsu.

Tsubaki thought she'd flown pretty far off into the forest, but there was a trap here. Considering how strong it was, it was most likely made today. Was Mizubashou really working this far out? If so, then there must be traps all over the area. It's best not to trigger them, as every trap fallen into is more pain for Tsubaki, and one less tool against the Man. Looks like she'll have to move more slowly from here. Hopefully the others are doing fine right now, because this may take a while.

The serious leader of Tiger Unit soars uncontrollably through the air. Fuki becomes more and more disorientated as she flies high in the sky, and she eventually collides with the top of a tall tree. Holding on to it, she remains there for a while regaining her composure. While resting, she thinks about how her string jitsu failed to restrain the Man, and how her getting too close to him let him grab her. That's when she got tossed into the air, and ended up here, with the other two grabbed girls most likely being thrown as well. Fuki made a mistake and is not only paying for it, but is also making things harder for her friends back home. The guilt, combined with the feeling that she won't be much help against the Man in a fight, fills Fuki with a lot of shame.

She thinks to one of the last things she heard before being thrown away. She heard the sounds of the screaming underclassmen from inside the main building. She heard her unit members scared for her. With that in mind, there's no time for moping around and feeling sorry for herself. If she's to make up for her error, she needs to get back as soon as possible. Even if she not might be the strongest, she has to help. She can't have the others worrying about her, especially Itadori and Ume. Fuki looks around, seeing nothing but the tops of the surrounding trees. She knows the way back home, so she climbs down and examines her surroundings on the ground. No one else around. She's still a bit woozy and has with a few small injuries, but she begins to run back towards Akane. At this speed, she should make it back in-

WOOSH!

Without warning, Fuki is raised into the air by a net. It takes her a moment to release that she's been caught. Mizubashou's traps have claimed another victim, and neither one is the Man. That's embarrassing, she thinks. She completely forgot about the area around Akane being rigged up. Fuki begins to work on getting out of the trap. Her smaller stature leaves her enough wiggle room to grab a kunai. Once she's down on the ground, she looks around again. No other visible traps, but that's Mizubashou's work for you, this place isn't safe for a casual stroll, let alone a sprint. Guess she'll have to move more carefully from now on...

After spending who knows how long in the air, the quiet upperclassman begins to feel herself descending. Despite her spinning around, she can see that she's headed for a small clearing, with only a large rock in the middle. In a few moments, Shakuyaku will be landing there, most likely on the rock. If she doesn't find a way to land properly, she'll be injured badly. So she grabs her weapon and begins to turn her uncontrolled spinning into a precise spin, eventually swinging and striking the rock at just the right moment. It's a hard hit that shakes her body and destroy the rock, and she has to rest a bit after, but it's better than crashing onto the ground.

Shakuyaku looks around. She's the only one present in the clearing, and there's nothing but lots of trees and bushes in all directions. She's definitely far from the village, but where exactly, she does not know. This is somewhat familiar, she spends a lot of time out here. But she usually has her team with her, this time she's all on her own. It's lonely now, and that's not a nice feeling.

She thinks about the current situation. The Man is, to her knowledge, still at the village, and fighting everyone else. She's in a good condition to fight, but she can't do a thing now. She recognizes that she has a poor sense of direction, and knows she has no chance of making it back on her own. So instead of trying to get back by herself and ending up even more lost, she instead chooses to stay here. She takes the debris of the rock and creates a small mound. She balances on top, with her weapon in hand. Her guard is up, her weapon is ready to strike, and she will wait for her friends to come for her. Hopefully Dokudami and Aogiri are giving the Man a good beating on her behalf.

Back in the quiet Akane Village, the remaining underclassmen still sit in the dining hall, watching over the three sleeping upperclassmen. It's been almost ten minutes since the others left, around the time Touwata said to wake them up. Hagi nervously stands near Tachiaoi, ready to start shaking her and get her up. She's only stopped by the thought that the others might get upset if they find out that she started waking them up early. Hototogisu, who's also keeping track of the time, asks the Snake twins if they should wake the trio now. The Snakes say to go ahead and try, but that it might take a while.

When questioned about what they mean, they say that it will actually take some time to wake them up. The magic of the bells is fairly strong, and usually keeps it's victims asleep for a while, it's not as simple as shaking the sleeping upperclassmen a bit to wake them. Combine that with the fact that the girls are most likely tired from working so much today, and they may sleep through the whole night. The others tell the twins that this is information that should have been said before they agreed to do this, but the Snakes shrug it off. Now the girls here may not have any older protectors at all. Everyone sees how that's not good, so the girls begin to try and wake up the others, to no success.

After they give up, Hagi becomes concerned that the upperclassmen will get cold sleeping out here, and may get sick. Mukuge suggests putting them into their futons, but the Roosters point out that doing so would help them sleep, and might make it harder to wake them if they're needed. They all agree about Hagi's point though, so they compromise. They'll grab blankets for the girls to prevent the cold, but won't grab the futon or any pillows, to prevent the girls from being able to get comfortable. Three girls each get up to grab a blanket from the appropriate room of one of the sleeping girls. Hagi goes to grab Tachiaoi's blanket from the Rat Unit room. But once she picks it up off the ground, she hears something. The sound of something falling over, or worse, being knocked over, coming from outside the building. She freezes in place, listening closely, hearing something moving out there. She leaves the Rat room, and runs back to the dining room, getting there at the same time as Mukuge, who had went to the Monkey room to get a blanket for Mokuren. The duo bursts into the room, and both shout.

Mukuge and Hagi: "I heard something outside!"

Everyone present looks at them confused. The two scaredy cats look at each other confused. Hototogisu, who just returned from the Sheep room with a blanket, and heard both of them, looks at them confused. The students try to calm the two down as they yell about how the Man must have come back and now they're doomed. Azami and Tanpopo look out the windows, but see nothing. All of them stay quiet and listen, but none of them hear anything outside. Judging by the looks on Hagi and Mukuge, they aren't lying. They definitely heard something. If it was another student coming back, she would have entered and said hi already. Which would mean.. that something else is out there, and only the underclassmen can protect the village from it...
