A/N: Thank you for keeping up with the story! Here's a nice longer chapter for you. Trigger Warning for Asami drinking heavily.
Chapter 32
Present Day – Day 27
"Fuck Dabi, shit!" Asami hisses.
Dabi groans as he turns in the bed, trying to open his eyes at what she's getting on about. It takes him a moment to rub the sleep from his eyes and see her naked ass jumping out of the bed and heading for the bathroom.
"What is it now?" he grumbles as he leans his head back down on the bed.
He can hear running water when she returns in the room. "It's 2 o'clock in the afternoon!" she yells at him. "The Paranormal Liberation Front is going to be announced to all of the MLA's followers in one hour!"
"So," he shrugs against the mattress.
"So, you're a Lieutenant in the PLF! You're expected to be on stage!" she rolls her eyes at him.
He lifts his head at her dazed lidded eyes, lazily trailing up and down her naked frame. "Mmm, c'mere," he coos, feeling himself getting hard just looking at her stand before him like that.
"No Dabi! Get up and shower, you smell like sex!"
"What, don't want Fivehead to call you a whore again? Butterfly, the marks are all over your body."
"Ugh, you're fucking infuriating," she grumbles under her breath as she heads to the shower.
Dabi lays there for a moment with a satisfied smile on his face when he realizes that he'd rather be in that shower with her, spreading her ass cheeks and burying himself in her wet little slit.
He gets up, sauntering towards the shower before he pulls back the curtain and steps in with her. She glares at him, crossing her arms over her chest in an attempt to hide her tits from him. He snorts at this. "Little late for that, Butterfly. I first saw those beautiful mounds way back in your apartment."
Asami steps away from him with an annoyed glare on her face. "Just wash yourself off."
"I'd rather have some morning shower sex," he says approaching her with his hands landing on her hips.
"It's 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It's far from morning," she snaps back at him, feeling anxious with the time. She's never been late to anything before.
"Yeah," Dabi chuckles as he scratches the back of his head guiltily. "I guess that's what happens when you spend the whole night fucking."
His smile takes over the entirety of his face as he thinks about the various times that he woke her in the middle of the night to stretch out her slit. She never once denied him—albeit she tried each time—and they ended up going more times than he can even count. He doesn't even know how many times he made her cum, figuring she's probably even more sore this morning.
He reads the panic in her expression and he sighs, realizing that his teasing isn't doing much good. "Look," he says grabbing her face and rubbing his thumb on her cheek. "They can't announce the PLF if one of their main Lieutenants is locked in his room getting fucked."
Asami's body grows stiff and her eyes widen. She's brought back to her memory of Hawks at the Billboard Charts.
Fucking Hawks!
Asami groans as she lowers her head from Dabi's grip and buries her face in her own palms. What the fuck was I thinking? Fucking Hawks! He didn't even cross my goddamn mind any of the times I opened my legs for Dabi!
Regret flows through Asami's body as she thinks about Keigo and what this means for their relationship. He won't be able to forgive her after this. Not after she opened her legs—multiple times—for Dabi. She didn't do it out of fear, she didn't do it out of survival, she did it because she fucking wanted him. If Hawks ever finds out… what will he think of her? He will be so disappointed in her and she'll—
"D'ya want me to wash your hair?" Dabi's abrupt request pulls Asami from her self-deprecating thoughts, and she honestly forgot that he was even there for a moment.
"Umm," is all she can say before his hands are lathering a floral smelling fragrance into her scalp. Asami's eyes flutter shut as she tries to calm herself in this moment. "This smells like a girl's shampoo," she hums as his digits expertly massage her scalp.
"It reminded me of you," his voice returns in a low baritone. "I knew I'd get you in here one way or another. So, I figured I'd come prepared."
"Someone's cocky," she teases, opening one eye to look at him.
"Not cocky; determined," he corrects her. "Though I have to admit, took ya fucking long enough."
"Well, you are a villain, I guess you could've taken what you wanted."
Dabi's body freezes and she opens her eyes when she no longer feels his fingers lathering her scalp. The look on his face takes her aback. He looks almost… hurt. "I wouldn't do that to you," he says sternly, only to quickly correct himself when he realizes how soft he sounds. "I mean, it's no fun having to fight you while I'm tryna get my dick wet," he says crassly as he continues to lather the mixture.
"About that—" Asami begins.
"We'll get you the pills after the stupid announcement. Don't worry your pretty little head over it."
"It's just, I don't really want kids…" she's careful in the way she says this, hoping he doesn't take it the wrong way. "I never have."
"Yeah, well I don't really want a kid to inherit this weak body either," he grumbles and she frowns. "Plus, I don't want some little shit taking my time away from fucking you," he responds brazenly.
Asami rolls her eyes with a slight smile on her lips and moves her hands to her hair, directing her head in the stream of water to rinse away the soap. She turns to him with a bottle in her hand once she's rinsed off. "You're next," she says, voice soft as she moves to lather the shampoo in.
There is something calming about this moment with him. She's never done something this intimate with Keigo, having only showered with him a handful of times in the three years they were intimate, and during those showers they either only washed themselves, or continued sex there.
Asami's brows furrow when she looks up at Dabi's hair as the water and suds begin to run black down his back. "Do you dye your hair?" she asks him and he steps away from her, rinsing his hair in the running water. "Is it because of those white hairs I saw?" she teases him and his bright eyes flash onto hers.
"Yeah," he tells her with a tone that has no inflection into his mood.
"That's nothing to be ashamed of," she tells him with a cheeky smile. "Some would call that salt and peppered look distinguished."
A small grin touches Dabi's lips and he steps toward her. "Lemme wash your body." He doesn't wait for her response before he begins lathering soap all over her body, predictably going for her breasts before anything.
Asami's initial reaction is to moan, signaling him to continue his trek down her body, but when his hands land between her legs, her eyes widen and she sneers at him. "Dabi," she warns. "We are going to be late."
"They can fuckin wait for all I care," he returns as his fingers lather the soap at her folds. "Plus, I'm just making sure you're clean."
"How are you still able to keep going?" she asks him, suppressing a moan.
"Makin' up for lost time," he tells her, thinking about all the moments he could have had her before last night if she wasn't so fucking infuriating.
There's no use in fighting him, and his fingers feel too damn good for her to protest, so she instead moans, lifting her foot onto the edge of the tub and allowing him to do what he does best. She even finds herself grabbing for his hardened dick and giving him soft tugs while they please one another.
It doesn't take him long to get her trembling at his touch, and her eyes rolling in the back of her head. She's louder this time, or the small confines of the bathroom amplify her needy voice. Either way, he has her screaming his name once again. God, how many times have I cum in the last 24 hours?
I wasn't fast enough.
Hawks looks up at the stage with a pressed smile on his face that feigns excitement towards these new developments, when he feels all but that. His gloved hands hesitantly applaud the merger between the MLA and League while hundreds of sympathizers cheer around him. This is by far the worst-case scenario.
The winged hero looks up at the stage with upturning brows as he watches the League enter. How could they have possibly pulled this off?
Talk amongst the MLA sympathizers speak of a Quirkless Ambassador from the League that managed to run the negotiations of this merger. He thinks about the intel the Public Hero Safety Commission provided him with before he began this mission, and none of the active members of the League seem to fit the description of Quirkless, let alone someone who could manage to pull off negotiations for the League with the leaders of the MLA.
He questions if it's Giran, but he doesn't think the back-alley thug would be able to facilitate a merger this lucrative for the League. Whoever was behind this knew what they were doing and expertly maneuvered this in a way that would ensure the League was slated to come out on top, because now Shigaraki has been named as grand commander.
With Feel Good Inc.'s control over the communication networks and Detnerat's money within the Hero Industry, the League of Villains taking over the MLA is the worst possible thing that could happen to the civilians of Japan. Hawks has no idea how many Nomu are lurking in the shadows, waiting to be unleashed and with tensions building between him and Dabi, he isn't quite sure he'll be able to get that information out of him.
With all the power that Shigaraki has managed to garner, there's no telling what it will take to bring his tyranny down.
After the announcement, Hawks meanders around the crowds of MLA sympathizers. Many fanboy over him while he puts on his typical carefree front. He can't allow anyone to think that he is plotting against this organization, especially Dabi. He's been moving too slow during this whole operation with the worry of what could happen to Asami looming in the back of his mind. He needs to make his move and he needs to prove his loyalty to the league, or else Asami—and countless others—will fall to the power of the League.
Hawks hears heavy footsteps approaching him and when he looks up, he sees Dabi sauntering towards him with his hands dug deeply in his pockets. He turns to him, flashing him a cool smile as the villain watches him. "Well, don't you look happy, Number Two," the rough voice of Dabi calls out to him. "Up to something?" he accuses with a condescending tilt of his head.
"Nah, man," Hawks returns with a chuckle and crescent moon eyes. "I was just waitin' for you," he says as they begin walking with one another.
Hawks knows he can't make a move against the League yet; he needs to figure out all the key stakeholders in this game first. The identity of the Quirkless Ambassador is key to locating and removing from power, seeing how dangerous their reach is considering they managed to get the MLA to kneel to the League. Not to mention the location of the Nomu, and who is engineering them. With those two players still hidden on the gameboard, Hawks will need to be cautious of how he proceeds with the League.
He feels himself getting sick at the thought that he can't barge in and demand Asami's location. He can only imagine the torture Dabi is putting her through.
"So…" Hawks' voice hangs in the air as Dabi leads the hero outside. "What happened in Deika? That was you guys, right?"
"If only someone was strong enough to stop the League sooner, those poor citizens might not have died," his voice taunts the idea as Hawks does everything in his power to not outwardly grit his teeth.
"Oh, by the way," the black-haired villain glances over at him. "I had some tests done on the stiff you gave me," he says bringing up Best Jeanist. "Turns out everything came back positive. It really was Number Three in that bag." Dabi shakes his head and clicks his cheeks. "Gotta say, Birdy, I was a bit surprised you managed to deliver so well."
"I told you," Hawks adopts his signature carefree persona, "I am loyal to the cause." Dabi huffs in response with a nod of his head and Hawks continues. "So, does this mean I can finally meet the boss?" he asks carefully.
Dabi stands there for a moment, contemplating his next move. After a minute of waiting, he pulls his hand from his pant pocket and begins digging into his breast pocket. He grabs a pack of cigarettes and places one lazily on his mismatched lips. He lifts the pack between the two of them, offering one to the hero. The blonde respectfully declines and Dabi places the carton back into his breast pocket. He lights the cigarette with his Quirk and inhales the nicotine.
Hawks watches him carefully, waiting for his answer and hoping he didn't step over bounds.
Dabi releases the smoke he holds in his lungs and thinks for a moment. He questions if the Hero is sympathetic to their cause, weary of his intentions since he found their last location and raided it. Dabi does take note that he did not inform any other heroes about the location and only sought it out in hopes to find his little slam piece.
He bites down on his cheek at the thought that the hero couldn't just enjoy the double while Dabi took a bite of the real thing. He's having far too much fun with her to have Hawks coming in here and ruining everything.
However, Hawks has gifted him many things in the past few days. The confirmed dead body of the Number Three hero ensures that Hawks is in the palm of his hands. And his inability to locate Asami has her stepping towards Dabi every day that passes. Eventually—even if the hero sees her again—she will be so hooked on Dabi's cock, that she won't even glance his way. So, what really is the harm of having Hawks around and letting him think he's winning this game when Dabi's already won the prize?
"Alright, Bird Brain," Dabi finally speaks up. "I'll talk to the boss and set somethin' up."
"Yeah?" the blonde smiles with a lopsided grin. "That'd be great! I look forward to the meeting."
"Sure, just give me a couple days to smooth it over by him."
"Yeah, of course," Hawks says, trying to sound optimistic. "Kinda insane you guys were able to get one up on the MLA. Things will really change around here with Shigaraki in charge." Dabi nods and him, mind clearly focused elsewhere. "Gotta ask, how'd you manage that?" he tries to press for information.
Dabi chuckles as a cloud of smoke releases from his lips, thinking about how cute his butterfly looked when that fivehead mother fucker called her his whore. He loved the way her nose wrinkled when she destroyed him and his overinflated organization. But he never thought she'd manage to elevate them into this position of power.
"People really underestimate what the League is capable of," Dabi tells him vaguely, knowing that if he mentions anything about a 'Quirkless Ambassador', Hawks will go sniffing in places he shouldn't be.
"Well, it's really something to be revered," the hero chuckles at his vague response.
Hawks doesn't like where this is going one bit, but with Dabi trusting him more, and having access to the MLA hideout, Hawks will be able to strategically plant his feathers throughout the compound. Within days, he will have this entire place bugged. Once he gets wind of Asami's location, he will save her, and he will end this nightmare for the both of them.
Hawks surveys the resting smile on his face that he hasn't seen before. Typically, the Villain wears a smug and egotistical grin on his face that tells of his arrogance, but this smile is different. He can see a change in his lidded eyes as though there is a content in them. He is no longer cocky, but satisfied and Hawks wonders how he could possibly be this happy when he has a captive fighting for her life in his confinement.
"You look like you're in a good mood," Hawks mentions, hoping he isn't pressing the boundaries, but knowing he has to say something.
Dabi finishes his cigarette, crushing the butt on the ground and placing his hands back into his pockets. He is in complete shock and awe at how marvelously this has all panned out. It took longer than he'd like to admit, but his fatty is in the palm of his hands, and now, so is the Number Two hero. There's no way she's crawling back to that feathered fucker after the night they spent together, and with Best Jeanist dead and stuffed in a bag, the hero has no place to betray him.
For once, everything is going marvelously in his life, and he cannot wait to show his father how far he's come.
"Not much to complain about," Dabi says turning to him and flashing him a smile. "I like to think of the positives."
Asami's leg bounces nervously as she vehemently chews on her nails. She winces when she punctures the skin, the taste of blood touching her tongue. She sits in the common area, trying to keep herself from worrying, but it's been hours since the ceremony and she hasn't seen Dabi since this morning.
The rest of the League are in the common area except for the burnt man, so there is no reason for him to not be here. She curses herself for allowing him to cum inside her, and curses herself even more for believing that he would actually let her leave to get birth control.
Fucking asshole. I'm going to kill him!
"Asami?" the voice pulls her out of her thoughts and she glances over at the blonde sitting next to her.
"Sorry, Himiko," she smiles at the young girl. "What did you say?"
"I was asking if you saw us from below. Did I look good in my new coat?" she sings to her.
Asami shakes her head. "No, I wasn't down there. Last thing I want to see is that Detnerat asshole stroking his own ego," she grumbles as she makes a conscious effort to pull her fingers out of her mouth and cross her arms. "I've been waiting here the whole time."
"You didn't miss much," Spinner informs her as he launches himself in a chair.
"Well, I'm bored," Toga announces as she lifts her feet up on the table. "Let's do something!" she whines childishly.
"And what would you suggest?" Mr. Compress asks her with a tilt of his head.
"I dunno," she shrugs as she looks around. "I wanna go shopping."
Asami perks up at this, "Yeah that sounds like a great idea!" she says, trying not to sound so eager, but desperately needing to get out of this place so she can get some birth control, since Dabi is nowhere in sight.
"We could go to the mall!" she sings. "We have all this money, why not spend it?"
"Yeah!" Asami continues, figuring there has to be a pharmacy somewhere in the mall.
"Of course you two wanna go to the mall," Twice teases them. "Sounds boring!" another side deadpans. "Take me with you!" a third chimes in.
"I could use a few things as well," Mr. Compress thinks thoughtfully.
"I'll pass," Spinner grumbles.
"Not tonight," Shigaraki's voice speaks up as the two girls frown at him. "It's too soon after the merger for us to separate. I don't trust those Liberation losers."
"What about Dabi?" Spinner grumbles. "He was quick to run off."
"Yeah, where is Dabi anyway?" Asami speaks up, trying not to sound too worried for the information.
Shigaraki's red eyes land on Asami, only to quickly slide away. "He's working with a business partner."
Asami keeps her teeth from grinding at his vague answer and takes in a deep breath. "So, then when can we leave this place?"
"Things need to die down a bit," he informs her. "We need to make sure all of our players are on the board and safe before we start splitting off."
"Safe from what?" Asami asks him, blinking confusingly at him.
"There's talk amongst the sympathizers that they aren't too happy about the League's takeover of the Meta Liberation Army. I'm worried there might be some retaliation if the mass public find out that someone Quirkless led the negotiations." He watches her with rough eyes through the disheveled white strands of his hair. "With you being the weakest of the group, and Dabi making it clear before the announcement that we need to protect you, I'm not letting you leave until things have simmered down."
Asami narrows her eyes at Shigaraki, feeling a thumping in her chest at the idea of being trapped in here once more. So soon after she gained her freedom.
"You said I would be free to walk around here on my own. How long will I be locked away in here?" she asks with her hands on her hips.
"It's only temporary," he grumbles back at her. "A few days at least, maybe a week."
Asami grits her teeth at this information, thinking about the shit hole she's dug herself in. She is not going to be let out of here with Shigaraki watching them all, and she doubts that Dabi will know what kind of pills to get her. She feels an overweighing sinking in her chest at the thought, and she curses herself for being so fucking stupid. The last thing she needs right now is this added stress to an already stressful situation.
"Well then we'll go to the mall in a week!" Toga jumps with excitement.
Asami clenches her jaw tightly as she lifts herself from the couch with a groan and shuffles across the room. "I need a fucking drink," she mumbles to herself as she heads to the common area where she begins rummaging around for something to drown her sorrows in.
She finds a bottle of Sake within her rummaging and opens it up. She begins chugging the contents of the bottle, and the rest of the League watch her with stunned glares.
"I'm going to bed," Asami grumbles as she takes the bottle into her hands and heads to her room. Once she's in the confines of her room, she shuts the door behind her and places the bottle on her dresser as she begins getting undressed.
Her arms cross around her waist as she pulls on the fabric of her shirt and tugs it over her shoulders and head. She tosses the cloth aside, not being mindful to place it neatly in the hamper, and begins working on the zipper of her pencil skirt. She kicks that off as well and moves to her bra. She strips out of her lacy confinement and slips on a mauve silk robe that reaches above her knees. She ties the robe at her waist and moves to the bed, Sake bottle in hand.
Asami knows this is a terrible idea and she recognizes how wrong this is, but she can't trust Dabi to come back with the pills, and she sure as hell isn't going to be a mother to a villain's child, so all she can think to do is drink.
Asami leans up against the headboard of her bed and gulps down the Sake, wincing every time it burns her throat. Her mind is muddled with self-deprecating thoughts that only come when she finds herself drinking alone, which is why Asami never drinks by herself.
She can't help but feel stupid for allowing her body to overtake her rational reasonings and have unprotected sex with Dabi. It felt good. So fucking good. She moans thinking about him. But she should have been safer and smarter about her decisions. And now, she's completely reliant on the trust she has in Dabi to get her pills while he's out. He said he didn't want a kid either, so she can only hope he meant it as much as she did.
She thinks about having kids and the idea makes her want to gag. She never liked kids, and never wanted any of her own. She wanted to focus on her career, and never judged anyone who wanted to have children, but it was just something that was never meant for her. She thinks about how she and her mother had that in common, but she wouldn't end up like her and be forced into a situation that was out of her control. It was partially the reason why Asami went head first into her career. She would make damn sure that her father wouldn't sell her off to a man twice her age for financial benefit.
Asami feels a heat touching her lips as the alcohol starts to hit her. She's such a lightweight, and she snickers to herself at the thought, thinking about Hawks and how he would always tease her for it. She finds herself frowning at the thought of him.
Keigo.
She wonders why he never came to find her. He has an entire agency at his disposal to find her, and though she doesn't expect him to drop all his cases to locate her, she just figured she meant enough to him to care. Maybe it was wishful thinking, or maybe she expected too much… but what was he doing without her? Has he even noticed her gone?
She feels her throat tightening at the idea and she banishes it from her thoughts. How the hell did she get here? She is a nobody. She means nothing to Keigo. She means nothing to Endeavor. If Dabi kidnapped her to get either of them to care, his plan is clearly faulty since neither seem to care enough to go looking for her.
Asami's head is heavy, and she's pretty drunk at this point. She lifts the Sake as she clutches onto it by the neck of the bottle. She swishes it around to see that she's had only a third of the bottle and she's already fucked. She closes her eyes, feeling her head teetering back and forth as she tries to stay awake.
She tries to keep her mind off of Hawks and Endeavor, but she can't help but think about the two heroes that are less than concerned about her whereabouts or wellbeing. Was she that expendable to both of them that the second she is gone they replace her with someone else?
What about Fuyumi? Or Natsuo? Endeavor and Hawks may not be bothered by her sudden disappearance, but Fuyumi and Natsuo would be worried sick about her. Surely they would reach out to their father and force an investigation from his agency. Maybe they have? Maybe they are looking everywhere for her and that's why Shigaraki and Dabi are hellbent on locking her in this room?
I'm such a fucking idiot.
Of course Keigo cares about me. Of course Endeavor is worried about me. They are looking for me now, trying their hardest to find me and I'm…
She lifts the bottle of Sake and glares at it. "And I'm getting drunk and fucking a villain." She throws her head back, slamming it against the headboard of the bed.
Or maybe they're not looking for her. Re-Destro and his goons would have said something by now if it was publicly publicized. She imagines keeping her disappearance a secret would not benefit their search for her, so maybe she just holds herself in a higher esteem than she really is.
Maybe Keigo doesn't care. Maybe Endeavor hasn't noticed. And maybe Fuyumi and Natsuo are not as close as she'd like to think. She's ditched them plenty of times, and buried herself in her work that they probably figure she's too busy for them.
Maybe no one is looking for her because she pushed them all away. Maybe the only thing she does have left now is Dabi and the League. Maybe… she should stop trying to leave and focus on staying.
Asami's head is so muddied with thoughts of Endeavor and Hawks and her friends that she doesn't hear the clicking of her bedroom door. It isn't until he's right in front of her that she notices the black-haired villain in her room.
The image that's returned to him must be amusing, because he chuckles at her. Dabi's grin takes over the left side of his face as he approaches her. He places his hand on her cheek and she glares up at him. His smile reaches the right side of his face as he says in an amused tone, "Someone's sloshed."
A/N: Hawks is leaving feathers around, Asami's locked away again, and Dabi's back but did he get the pills? Smut and drama coming soon! As always, let me know what you think and curious to hear your predictions!
