Kagura inserted the game into the console as Sakaki carried herself back over to the TV. She sat down while Kagura booted up the game and got everything set up. "You haven't played this before, right?" Kagura asked. Sakaki shook her head. "No, I've only seen the TV shows." She told her friend. "Do you have Skitty?"

"Skitty?" Kagura reiterated. Sakaki nodded. "Hm, I don't think that's one's in the game."

Sakaki felt a little disheartened hearing this, as she was hoping to see the Pokemon in action. Kagura could tell Sakaki was a little down, so she thought for a moment.

"You like cats, right?"

Sakaki nodded.

"Alright, then check this out."

Kagura went into the Pokemon PC and withdrew a Pokemon called "Litten". She placed it into her party then opened up the Pokemon Camp.

"This is the Pokemon Camp." She began to explain. "You can play around with all the different Pokemon here." Kagura handed the controller to Sakaki, then pointed towards a distant black and red shape. "That one's a cat, it's called Litten."

Kagura explained to Sakaki what to do to call the Pokemon over, then showed Sakaki how to play with it. Sakaki fell in love with the cat immediately, she began playing with the cat non-stop. Kagura happily sat and watched, content with knowing that her friend was having a good time. After about 15 minutes, she interrupted Sakaki and showed her the curry mini-game. Upon teaching her the basics, Sakaki became determined to make the perfect curry for her furry friend. A few minutes later, a new Pokemon appeared at the camp, which Sakaki found almost as adorable as the Litten. She began playing with that Pokemon, and then one of Kagura's Pokemon that resembled a gorilla. "Do you play this game a lot?" Sakaki asked her friend, taking her eyes away from the TV. Kagura thought for a moment. "Well, it depends what you mean by 'a lot'. Sometimes I binge game and just keep grinding or shiny hunting, and then there's other times where I don't touch the game for weeks."

"I see." Sakaki said. "Have you ever seen the show before?"

"I used to watch it when I was younger, but I haven't really been keeping up with it." The tomboy explained. "Oh! Wait! I think I have one of the movies."

She went over to her closet and opened the door. Ducking down, she pulled out a small box filled with old DVDs. "Let's see..." She said, as Sakaki came over. "Aha!" Kagura exclaimed after finding the disc. "I remember watching this one all the time as a kid! Have you seen it before?" She asked, hanging Sakaki the movie. "Pokemon: Giratina and the Sky Guardian." The title read. She flipped it over and read the back, then shook her head again. "No, I don't think I have." Sakaki answered. Kagura then had an idea. "Hey! Do you wanna watch it?" Asked Kagura. "It's been forever since I've seen it, I'm totally down to watch it if you are." A small smile grew on Sakaki's face. "Sure." She answered.

"Awesome!" Kagura exclaimed. Suddenly, her stomach began to groan. "Hey, are you hungry by any chance?"

Kagura and Sakaki both walked downstairs to prepare the noodles the tomboy had bought. As they entered the kitchen, they were greeted by Kagura's mother, who was eating leftovers at the kitchen table. "What're you girls up to?" She asked them.

"We're gonna make the noodles and watch a movie in my room." Kagura explained.

"That's nice." Her mother commented. "What movie are you going to watch?"

Kagura began to grow warm from embarrassment, and quickly tried to figure out a way to bypass the question. "It's just one of the -"

"Giratina and the Sky Warrior." Sakaki suddenly answered.

"The Pokemon one?" Kagura's mother asked. Sakaki nodded. Kagura's mother smiled, while Kagura herself blushed and began making their noodles.

"You know I actually took Kagura to see that one in the movie theater." Her mother told Sakaki.

"Really?" Sakaki asked.

"Yes, she was quite young but I remember taking her to see it. She loved it so much she spent the next two weeks doing chores to save up enough money for us to go back and see it again. I remember the look on her face when she finally saved up enough money, she loved that movie so much."

"Mooom!" Kagura turned around and complained.

"What? I'm just telling your friend a story!" Her mother joked back. Kagura smiled a little. It reminded her of how things used to be with her and her mother. While Kagura mother kept speaking to Sakaki, Kagura finished up making the noodles for the two of them. "Alright, the noodles are ready." She announced, placing a pair of chopsticks into both of the noodle cups. She handed Sakaki one of the cups, then said goodbye to Kagura's mother. "If there's anything else you girls need, let me know." She told them. "Thanks Mom." Kagura said.

"Love you, dear!" Her mother said to embarrass her. Kagura groaned. "I love you too, Mom." Kagura trudged up the stairs ahead of Sakaki, feeling slightly embarrassed by her mother. Sakaki didn't find it embarrassing at all, though. Deep down, she longed for her own mother to come back home. She wished that she could come home one day to see her mother living with her again, that she could come home and give her a hug as soon as she walked in. Her mind reminisced about the post, about how things used to be, about how she had taken for granted all the small and seeming insignificant moments she wishes so badly she could replicate once more. Through all the pain and hurt, she came out thankful that she still had her father to come home to. The two girls walked into Kagura's room and closed the door behind them. Sakaki sat down on the floor with the noodles while Kagura placed hers on the small bookshelf, next to her phone. The tomboy grabbed the DVD and placed the disc into her DVD player. She got back up to grab the noodles and then gave thanks for the food along with Sakaki. Together they ate their noodles and watched the movie, happily enjoying one another's company.
