Chapter 12
Lincoln, Stella, Clyde, and Ronnie Anne enjoyed the teleportation powers as they zapped all over the planet. They were in awe of all the sites they were gazing upon. Kyoto, Toyoko, Sydney, Rome, London, Scotland, Iceland, Cape Town, South Africa, New York City, Paris, Machu Picchu, Angel Falls, etc. The best part was that teleportation powers didn't exhaust Lincoln in the slightest.
As they explored the Olympic National Park, Stella spoke, "This is really amazing, Lincoln. There's a lot you can do with these powers."
"Yeah, if you had these powers to begin with, getting away from your family would have been a lot easier," Ronnie Anne said.
Lincoln frowned and rolled his eyes before giving her a look. Clyde frowned as well.
"Before they changed for the better," Ronnie Anne corrected.
"Speaking of your family. Are you going to tell them about this?" Stella asked.
"Yeah, why? Lincoln asked.
"Are you sure that's a good idea? Because won't they get needy and constantly ask you to teleport them everywhere? That'll create problems."
Clyde cringed, "Yeah, that is a good point, Lincoln. Maybe set some rules if you're going to tell them so that they don't take advantage of you."
Lincoln let out a sigh, "You're right. I should set rules because they'll probably want me to take them everywhere and fight over it."
"Lincoln, I know you trust them; they're your family. Which means you want to protect them and all, but don't forget to take responsibility for yourself. Don't forget to take care of yourself. You have a life and a future. Don't let your sisters drag you down with their lives," Ronnie Anne said.
Lincoln nodded in agreement.
After a moment of silence, Lincoln asked, "So, you guys ready to go home?"
"Yeah, but not before you guys try some of Great Lake City's famous hot dogs. They're to die for!"
"Do we have time for that?" Lincoln asked.
Clyde and Stella checked their phones for the time.
"I can spare half an hour," Clyde answered.
"Me too," Stella said.
"Okay, let's go," Lincoln said as they got together before teleporting.
Future Lincoln is sitting high above on a branch, observing them everywhere they went. He held out a power crystal with the same energy Lincoln now has, giving him the power of teleportation. The crystal had lost its energy as it was now in Lincoln.
"Glad to see you're grateful for the new power I gave you. I was surprised you didn't wake up at night when I transferred the energy to you," Future Lincoln said before putting away the power crystal.
Lincoln then summoned a light orb of a possible future.
"You're gonna need it, especially if you want to save some people . . . and to fight against other crystal carriers that'll want your power. You're getting stronger, little me. Hopefully, you'll be strong enough for the big finish . . . and then hopefully all your inner anger will be gone and maybe . . . that's when I can cease to exist," Future Lincoln said to himself while looking at the light orb.
The light orb showed glimpses of people in danger, like Rita, Bobby . . . and Lynn. What does the future have in store?
Meanwhile
Lynn waited patiently until they got home. She sat quietly on the couch, watching TV with her sisters, with an ice pack on her black eye. They could feel the tension from her but were afraid to say or ask her anything that might set her off. By late evening, Lynn was tapping her foot, eager for the remaining Loud family member to return home. Rita got back down from upstairs after she tucked Lily in bed.
Lincoln teleported back to his home after sending his friends home. Those hot dogs really hit the spot, making Lincoln let out a belch. He stopped at the front door, thinking of what to say.
'How do I tell them? Just walk in there and say, 'Hey, guess? I can teleport anywhere on the planet.' No, no, no, that's too forward. I got it. I'll tell them two things first. One: I love you girls. Two: you look beautiful as usual, and then I show them my powers. Nah, they'll just call me a weirdo. Well, maybe it'll work,' Lincoln thought.
He paced back and forth while trying to figure out how to tell them without them freaking out. Then he sighed heavily, "There's no easy way to tell. Just tell them. Maybe Lisa can figure out why I got another power."
He opened the door and found all his sisters and Rita sitting on the couch together, watching TV.
"Hey, ladies," Lincoln greeted.
"Hey, Lincoln," Luan said.
"You're home late. Where have you been?" Rita asked.
"I hung with Clyde for a while, and there's something I gotta tell you guys, but first, how was your day?" Lincoln asked.
Before any of them could, Lynn got up and spoke loudly and abruptly with wide eyes.
"Oh! My day was great! I lost my baseball game," Lynn answered.
"Oh, I'm so—"
Lincoln stopped, and his eyes widened as he got a good look at Lynn. She looked awful. Her hair was messy, and parts of her skin were red from when she scratched herself too hard from the itchy powder, which possibly gave her a rash, and she had a nasty black eye.
"Lynn, what happened to you? Is that a black eye?" Lincoln asked with worry in his voice.
"Yeah, it is!
"What happened?"
Lynn explained, "I couldn't stay focused. I was completely off my game! First, my clothes and hat itched like crazy. I couldn't throw straight or catch a ball. I had to dump the whole water cooler on me! Which was humiliating because everyone laughed at me. So, you can imagine how that made me feel."
"That's terrible, Lynn," Lincoln said with a sad frown.
"Yeah, it is!"
As she explained, some of the other sisters looked away in shame while feeling guilty.
"Then the crowd," Lynn shot a glare at her sisters, "Including these ankle-biting numbskulls, made noises whenever I pitched the ball, throwing off my groove. I kept missing, and then SOMEBODY coated a ball with sticky elastic! I threw it, and it stretched in my hand, flew back, and hit me square in the eye!"
"Oh my gosh, Lynn!" Lincoln exclaimed.
"Yeah, and then somebody slipped sleeping pills in my water bottle!"
"Wait, how do you know they were sleeping pills?" Rita asked.
"Because I felt so drowsy I couldn't focus, and I could taste it in the water. It had that pill taste. Someone sabotaged me!" Lynn answered.
Rita stood up, "Whoa, whoa, honey. Let's just calm down for a moment. That's a serious accusation. Let's not be too hasty to point fingers."
"I know someone sabotaged me, Mom."
"Why would anyone do that?" Lincoln questioned.
Lynn turned to face the sisters, "Let's ask them!"
Lincoln and Rita gave confused looks while the sisters looked shocked and on edge.
"Us?! What are you talking about, dude?" Luna jabbed.
"Why in the world would we sabotage you, Lynn?" Luan added.
Lynn pulled the paper that said 'Operation: Sabotage Lynn.' The sisters' eyes widened, along with gasps.
"I found this in the parking lot . . . AND I saw Lucy throw it in the trash bin AFTER she tore it out of her notebook!" Lynn shouted angrily.
The girls looked away while cringing. They've been caught. Lincoln and Rita took the paper and looked at it closely with pensive expressions.
"This is Lucy's handwriting," Lincoln said.
"Itchy powder in clothes? Noise interruptions? Sticky ball? Sleep pills?" Rita asked as she read the list.
They glanced at each other before turning to the sisters.
"Girls, what is this?" Rita questioned.
The girls hung their heads in shame with sad expressions. Lori was the first to speak.
"Okay, the truth is we did it. We sabotaged Lynn so that she would lose the game," Lori said.
Rita and Lincoln gasped. Lynn was furious as she shot glaring daggers at them.
"I knew it! I knew it was you guys!" Lynn shouted.
"Of all the shenanigans you girls pulled, this one doesn't make any sense," Rita said, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Why would you guys do that?" Lincoln asked.
"We did it to protect Lincoln!" Leni exclaimed.
Lincoln, Lynn, and Rita's eyes widened with their eyebrows raised.
"What?" Rita asked.
"Lincoln showed us the visions of the bad luck incident. It all started with Lynn losing her game and blaming him when he had nothing to do with it," Lori said.
"But she swore that she would never let it happen. You all saw the visions change," Lincoln pointed out.
"Yeah, and you said the visions were 'possible' futures. You said nothing was written in stone, so it could change at any moment," Luna said.
"If Lynn lost the game, then it would prove that she would lose no matter what, and luck had nothing to do with it. We were afraid that if she won, she would think that everything you said wasn't true and go back to believing that you're bad luck because you weren't at her game," Luan added.
"So, we sabotaged Lynn to make sure that she would lose and not go back to being a luck freak and blaming you and treating you like a pariah," Lucy said.
Lynn's face slowly turned to shock.
"Guys, Lynn would never do that! She's changed," Lincoln stated.
"So, instead of coming to us, you girls chose to gang up on Lynn and ruin her game?" Rita questioned with an upset expression.
"We were scared!" Lola objected.
"We didn't want to lose Lincoln!" Lana added.
"We didn't want to hurt Lynn, but we saw the visions of what could have happened. Lincoln would have been treated less than human, being locked out of the house, the police getting involved, and our family separated forever, all because of Lynn losing a stupid game. We just wanted to make sure that didn't happen! We were afraid of losing Lincoln! We were trying to protect him," Lori explained with watery eyes.
The other sisters had tears building up in their eyes. Meanwhile, Lynn was completely distort. All anger vanished, and a cold chill ran through her body.
"Back to believing that he's bad luck?" Lynn uttered.
Everyone turned to her.
"You think . . . you seriously believed that I would go back to believing that Lincoln is bad luck? Are you serious? After everything we've been through?! You honestly think I would believe in luck at all?! You think I would do that to Lincoln?!" Lynn exclaimed.
Luna stepped forward.
"How could we not believe that?! Lynn, for years, you've been a zealot to luck. All those stupid luck rituals before a game that you make up, FLIBBR, and the 'luck gods.' Can you really blame us? How were we supposed to know that you would never again believe in luck when it has practically dictated your life? And our family and our lives would all have been ruined because of one game. We were desperate to make sure nothing bad would happen to Lincoln," Luna explained firmly.
Lynn felt as if her heart was hit by a bus. The pupils in her eyes shrank. She felt lightheaded and weak to the knees as she slowly felt like she couldn't breathe. Her eyes shifted all around, feeling like she was surrounded by strangers.
"You . . . you don't trust me with Lincoln? You-you think—? You think I would hurt him?! You think I would do all the things the vision showed?!" Lynn asked.
The girls looked away in shame, unable to look her in the eye.
"You think I'm a monster," Lynn uttered.
Lori reached out, "Lynn, we're—"
Lynn slapped her hand away and ran upstairs to her bedroom sobbing.
"Lynn!" Lincoln called.
There was no response. Only the sound of the door slamming. Lincoln and Rita turned to the sisters. Rita looked angry and disappointed while placing her hands on her hips. Lincoln had a sad frown as he crossed his arms.
"I'm very disappointed in you girls. I thought I made it clear that if there's something wrong, you come to me, and I'll take care of it," Rita stated.
"But Mom, we were trying to protect Lincoln! We were afraid of what could have happened," Leni objected.
"Losing him is literally the scariest thing that could happen, and we love him too much to risk that terrible future happening and this family being separated forever," Lori added.
"Girls . . . don't you think that I would have warned you if Lynn would have gone back to believing in luck? Don't you think I would have said something?" Lincoln asked.
The girls' eyes all widened with their jaws slightly dropping without their mouths opening, giving a dumbfounded expression. They didn't consider that. The truth hit hard like a ton of bricks.
"We . . . didn't think of that," Lucy said while rubbing her arm.
"I admit, I did not consider that missing variable while I was too focused on preventing a terrible outcome," Lisa admitted.
"Well, you're all grounded for two weeks," Rita stated firmly.
The girls hung their heads while letting out a sigh.
"We understand. We're sorry," Luan said.
"Don't tell us you're sorry. Tell Lynn you're sorry. She's the one you hurt," Lincoln stated.
"We will. Although, we should probably wait until she's done crying," Luna said.
"And as part of your punishment, you're off the bedroom clock," Rita said.
All the girls' eyes were wide open with fear as they gasped with their pupils reduced to tiny dots. Lincoln turned to her, surprised as well.
"WHAT?!" they exclaimed.
"You heard me. That means no Lincoln in your beds," Rita stated firmly.
"Mom! Please! You can't do that to us!" Lori begged.
"We need him! We're not over our nightmares yet!" Leni pleaded.
"Actions have consequences, and this is punishment for yours," Rita said, crossing her arms.
"Mom! This is way too harsh! We'll do anything!" Luna pleaded.
"We'll do extra chores! Double the amount with-without allowance pay!" Luan offered.
"We'll clean the house twice! Even the basement!" Lola added.
"We'll clean the yard and-and the neighbor's yards! We'll give the pets baths too!" Lana added.
"Mother! If you remove Lincoln from our bedroom clock, we'll surely get nightmares. Knowing Lincoln will arrive in our bed to deliver nightmare-free nights gives us hope, which helps us therapeutically and helps us build the mental capacity to withstand our nightmares on our own. Taking him away will have us spiral down the despair of our guilt. Thus manifesting into our subconscious and wreaking havoc in our nightmares," Lisa explained.
Rita shook her head, standing firm with her decision. Lana began to cry. She tried to wipe her tears with her hands, but they kept coming.
"Mom (sobs) please, I still get nightmares. (sniffs and sobs) Nightmares of (sniffs) of the gators getting me. The only time I don't dream about them is when Lincoln is . . . is holding me close in his arms. That's when I feel safe (sobs). Nothing bad will happen because I know he's there right next to me," Lana explained sorrowfully.
Seeing Lana like this was breaking Lincoln's heart. It was getting to Rita too. The other sisters had tears rolling down their cheeks, too. Lincoln and Lola hugged her close as she continued to cry. Lori and Leni turned to Rita with their lips quivering.
"We know we messed up, Mom. We're sorry. We really are," Leni said in a broken voice.
"But . . . please, don't take Lincoln away. We need him. He makes us feel safe. We don't get nightmares when he's close by . . . and the nightmares make us feel so terrible," Lori implored.
Rita sighed heavily, "Okay, fine. You can still have Lincoln in the bedroom clock, but you'll still be working extra chores for sabotaging Lynn. When she's done crying, you will all march up there and apologize to her. And if you ever pull a stunt like this again, on Lynn or anyone for that matter, then I really will take Lincoln out of your bedroom clocks. Do I make myself clear?"
The girls all nodded.
"Crystal clear," Lori said.
"Like totes clear," Leni said.
Rita turned to Lincoln, "Lincoln, honey, have you eaten already?"
"Yeah, Clyde and I had a bite to eat at his place. So, I'm good," Lincoln lied, "But I got some room for a little bit of dinner. I'll help Luan cook."
"Thanks, Lincoln," Luan said.
As they went into the kitchen, Rita's phone rang. After a few moments, she groaned a sigh before hanging up.
"Everything okay, Mom?" Leni asked.
"Apparently, while your father was taking online courses to be a paramedic, he got two unexpected visitors. Gramps and your uncle Lance. They both saw the trial on the news and heard about it. They're not happy with your father at all, and they're asking a lot of questions about Lincoln and how we're raising you girls. So, I have to go to try and calm things down," Rita explained.
"Do I need to come with you, Mom?" Lincoln asked.
"No, I got this. Everyone eat dinner, apologize to Lynn, and then go straight to bed. I'll be gone a while."
After she left, Lincoln and Luan made chicken ramen with grilled cheese sandwiches. Lincoln went upstairs to Lynn's room with a food tray, and everyone began eating. He knocked and entered gently with caution. Lynn was in her bed, lying on her side facing the wall while hugging Bun-Bub close to her.
"Hey, Lynn. I know you want to be alone and don't want to talk. That's okay. I just brought you dinner. Try to eat it before it gets cold," Lincoln said, placing it on Lucy's bed.
Before he left, Lincoln said, "We can talk whenever you're ready, Lynn. I love you . . . and I always will. Don't ever forget that, Lynn."
He closed the door and headed downstairs. After a few minutes, Lynn forced herself up to eat dinner. She was so emotionally exhausted from crying that she felt like she had run a marathon, and her whole body was numb. Even though she didn't feel hungry, she was. She chewed and swallowed slowly.
Downstairs, the Loud siblings ate in silence. Before Lincoln sat at his place at the table, he noticed that the trophy cabinet looked slightly empty. He looked and noticed that all of Lynn's trophies were gone. The spot that had her name was empty.
"Uh, guys? Where's Lynn's trophies?" Lincoln asked.
"She threw them away," Lucy answered.
This surprised everyone.
"What? Why?" Lincoln asked.
"She said she wasn't proud of them. She won them through poor sportsmanship. You know, through her 'luck rituals.' So, she trashed them and wanted to start over by winning through good sportsmanship without luck," Lucy explained.
Lincoln looked back at Lynn's empty space and was amazed that Lynn made such a decision. Then he noticed his spot wasn't there – it was now Lucy's. He scanned the cabinet and found his name at the top. Lincoln saw that space had been made for him and his medal. It rested in its polished walnut box while opened so everyone could see the medal inside. Lincoln had mixed feelings about this. While he was happy and proud that he earned his spot in the cabinet, but didn't like how his medal was at the top above everyone else's.
"Did you guys put my medal at the top?" Lincoln asked.
"Mom did. She moved our trophies to make space for your medal and in case you'd win other stuff too, like art trophies or whatever. Since Lynn threw away her trophies, there was extra space," Lucy answered.
"I see."
Lincoln sat in his chair and began eating dinner quietly. Some of the sisters wanted to speak but were afraid to say anything. Lincoln knew that they wanted to talk, so he broke the silence and spoke.
"I know you girls have something to say. We can talk after dinner and then apologize to Lynn, okay?" Lincoln said.
Lori nodded, "Okay."
The other sisters nodded.
After dinner and washing the dishes, they went to the living room to talk.
"Lincoln, we know we messed up, but we didn't want to hurt anyone, especially not our sister. We sabotaged Lynn, and that was stupid, but you showed us visions of the future of what could have happened. We didn't want that to happen. We didn't want to lose you!" Lori explained.
"We were scared, bro. Losing you, our family, and our lives falling apart all because of Lynn losing one game. We didn't want those things to happen. We were trying to protect you," Luna said.
"We thought if Lynn lost the game, then she'd believe you and not in luck. That's why we were afraid that if she won, she'd go back to believing in luck and mistreat you like the visions foretold. We know what we did was wrong, and we're sorry," Luan added.
"Please don't hate us!" the twins said.
"Girls! I get it. You were trying to protect me. I understand that. I know why you did what you did. I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed because you didn't trust Lynn. Now I can see why you didn't trust her because she's believed in luck for so long, and you didn't want to take that chance. However, regardless, you should have come to me. Maybe I should have warned you guys not to worry, but that's no excuse for your actions," Lincoln explained.
"We understand, Lincoln. You matter to us . . . more than anything in the world. That's why we were so scared of losing and were willing to cross any line to keep you safe," Lucy said.
"I understand that, but you still hurt Lynn. She doesn't care about losing the game. It's the fact that you didn't trust her not to go back to her dug in luck ways," Lincoln said.
"You're right, Lincoln. We owe her an apology. Is she ready for us, or does she need more time?" Leni asked.
"I'll go check on her," Lincoln said.
Before he got up, the twins approached with a sad face.
Lola spoke, "You don't hate us, do you?"
"Please don't hate us," Lana begged.
Lincoln hugged them close and sat them on his lap on the couch.
"Girls, I don't hate you. I could never hate you, especially now that you changed so much for me," Lincoln said.
"Are you still afraid of us?" Lori asked.
"Mostly no. There's a tiny part of me that kind of is, but that fear is fading faster than I thought. The point is, you girls have shown how much you care for me, and those horrible futures of what you would have done to me are gone. They're gone because you made it change. You did that . . . for me. How in the world would you guys be able to do that if you didn't love me?" Lincoln asked.
"We wouldn't. No one goes that for someone without love, bro. Love is the strongest force in the world. It's more powerful than music," Luna answered.
"Exactly. Therefore, I don't hate you guys," Lincoln said.
"Even after we hurt, Lynn?" Leni asked.
"Yes, even after that. I'm not proud of you for doing that, but I don't hate you for it. Although I do appreciate that you were trying to protect me from her. It's a 'good intentions but bad actions' thing."
"I just wish we knew how to make up to Lynn because a simple sorry isn't going to cut it," Luan said.
Lori sighed, "Yeah, you're right. What would make her feel better or appreciated? What does she like?"
"Sports, Lincoln, food, winning, and Lincoln. I don't want to be mean, but the word 'shallow' would be used here," Lola said.
Lincoln frowned at that.
"She also likes Dairyland," Lucy said.
"What about the beach?" Lincoln asked.
"I believe so. She enjoys sports, and the beach offers many physical activities like surfing, volleyball, and wrestling in the water," Lisa answered.
"All right, look, what if we talk Mom into all of us going to the beach? I think maybe a vacation will do us some good, especially Lynn," Lincoln offered.
"Normally, I'd say vacations cost money, but that's not really a problem since we still have a ton from winning that lottery ticket. However, vacations also cost time, and we're still in school. It takes hours to drive to the beach and hours to drive back," Lori said.
"Actually, distance won't be a problem," Lincoln replied.
"What do you mean?" Luan asked.
"I'll show you after you apologize to Lynn. I'm gonna go check on her," Lincoln said, getting up.
The sisters waited outside of Lynn's room. Lincoln entered and spoke softly to her as she lay still in bed. Then, after a few minutes, Lincoln called for them to enter. When they did, they saw Lynn sitting upright with Lincoln holding her close from behind. He gently rocked her back and forth in a comforting manner.
Lori spoke first, "Hey Lynn . . . listen, we're really sorry for what we did. We didn't think before we acted. We're sorry we didn't trust you."
"It's just that we felt everything was hanging on this one moment, and we didn't want to leave it up to chance. We're really sorry," Luna said.
Lynn closed her tearful eyes while looking away. She rested her head against Lincoln's cheek.
"We didn't mean to hurt you, Lynn. We were stupid for not trusting you. We should have known better. We want to make it up to you. Like Lincoln, we're going to be better for you and trust you better," Luan said.
Lynn swallowed a lump in her throat and spoke in a hoarse voice, "I would rather kill myself before ever hurting Lincoln and letting those visions come true."
The sisters' eyes widened at that.
"Well, you won't have to because they'll never come true. We should have known that when we saw the light orb change at the hospital," Lori said.
Then Leni said, "Hey Lynn, Lincoln was talking about us going on a vacation to the beach. Wouldn't that be nice?"
Lynn shook her head, "The beach just reminds me of the visions where we'd force Lincoln to wear that stupid mascot costume. Do you know how much I hate that thing? I burned that costume."
"Wait, it was you who did that?" Luan asked.
"Yes! I did it mostly because of how angry I was at myself for how we would do something so horrible as to force Lincoln to wear that thing for good luck . . . and to make sure it would never happen," Lynn explained.
"Just the beach at the Great Lakes reminds you of that or any beach?" Lincoln asked.
Lynn turned to him, "What do you mean?"
"Because we could go to another beach if that would make you feel better, like, say, the beaches of Hawaii," Lincoln answered.
"Lincoln, we can't go to Hawaii," Lori said.
Lincoln grinned, "Oh yes, we can."
"Dude, it's too far away. We'd have to fly to California and then across the Atlantic Ocean. That's like 12 hours of flying!" Luna pointed out.
Lincoln stood up, holding Lynn bridal style.
"Oh yeah? What if I told you I could get you there instantly? Like in a heartbeat?" Lincoln asked.
"That's impossible, Lincoln," Lisa said.
"What if I told you it's not?"
"Lincoln, how in the world would you get us there in a heartbeat?" Luan questioned.
"That's the best part that I wanted to tell you guys all day! But why tell you when I can show you?" Lincoln asked.
The girls all stood there staring at Lincoln in confusion. Lincoln closed his eyes and concentrated his energy. Then his chest glowed in the same strange light earlier today. It was white mixed with glimpses of blue and green. The sisters' eyes widened with surprise as they gasped. Then
POOF
In an instant, a light flashed, and the siblings found themselves not in their house anymore. It was so sudden that they lost their balance and had to put effort into standing up straight. Lynn clung to her brother tightly while gasping in shock. The girls looked around, turned, and looked behind Lincoln. Behind the white-haired boy was a giant statue of a man sitting in a chair, but not just any man. It was the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.
"Is that? Is that?!" Luan stuttered.
"That's the Lincoln Memorial!" Lana exclaimed.
"We're in Washington D.C.?!" Lola asked.
"Lincoln! You have new powers?!" Lisa questioned.
"Yes, I do," Lincoln answered.
He used his powers again as he spoke. With each word, he teleported them to a different location on the planet.
"I. Can. Take. Us. Anywhere. In. The. Whole. Wide. World," Lincoln said.
He teleported them back to their house in Royal Woods in the living room. He placed Lynn down on the couch. The girls were so stunned that they stood frozen, staring into nothing with their pupils shrunken to tiny dots and their mouths uttering. Lincoln spoke again, only this time, he kissed each sister's face with each word he spoke.
"Anywhere (kisses Lori)
You (kisses Leni)
Want (kisses Luna)
To (kisses Luan)
Go (kisses Lynn)
I (kisses Lucy)
Can (kisses Lola)
Take (kisses Lana)
You (kisses Lisa)
There."
Shortly after he said that they all fainted. They lay on the floor with their eyes in 'X' marks with stars and swirls coming from their heads. Some, like Lynn and Luna, had their tongues out and to the side.
Lincoln turned to the viewers, "I love being awesome."
