Arnold Weskar, a man who was admitted to Arkham Asylum a few years ago, sits in his cell during a blackout. He hears the door opening.

Weskar: "Whose there!?"

Arnold feels a wet rag being placed on his mouth, before passing out. He wakes up in a run down building, cuffed to a table. A man wearing a rugged brown jacket with the hood up, a gas mask with a tan patch of felt stiched onto it, and a cut noose around his neck walks into the room, holding a puppet with a scar on the face dressed as a 1930's mobster, and approaches Weskar. He throws the puppet onto the table.

Weskar: "W-who are you?"

Scarecrow: "You may call me the Scarecrow, Mr. Weskar."

Scarecrow: "And, as you see, I brought a friend from an evidence room."

Weskar: "Stay back!"

Scarecrow sprays gas in Weskar's face, unlocks the cuffs, and leaves the room.

Scarface: "Dummy..."

Weskar: "No, you're just a puppet!"

Weskar: "You're not a living being!"

Scarface: "If I wasn't a living being, could I be talking, Dummy!?"

Scarface: "Now, pick me up!"

Weskar puts his hand into the hole on Scarface's back, and sees a door with an exit sign above it.

Scarface: "What are you waiting for, let's go!"

Arnold walks through the exit door, looks at the block, then the only car on it.

Scarface: "We're gonna have to hotwire it.."

Weskar gets in the car, sees that the keys are in the ignition, and drives off.

Alfred hears a knock at the door, answers it, and sees Lucius Fox.

Alfred: "Hello, Mr. Fox."

Lucius: "Alfred, is Mr. Wayne here?"

Alfred: "Yes, however, he is busy."

Lucius: "Thank you, I will wait."

Lucius sits on the couch, waiting for Bruce to come down, who does so after a few hours.

Bruce: "Hello, Mr. Fox."

Lucius: "So, you're the Batman the media's been talking about."

Bruce: "What?"

Lucius: "I saw the muscle car you asked me to keep at Wayne Tower on the news, and use some items you asked to take from the company's inventory."

Lucius: "You will need help with this crusade, or whatever it is you're doing as Batman."

Bruce: "Lucius, I can't have you be telling people."

Bruce: "If the public finds out, I'll need to go into hiding, and I won't be able to fund this crusade."

Lucius: "I understand, Mr. Wayne."

Bruce: "Thank you, Lucius."

Bruce: "And, I accept your offer."

Bruce looks at the time on the TV, and sees that it's midnight.

Bruce: "I have to go."

Bruce opens a secret door disguised as a bookshelf, and enters the Batcave, Lucius following him.

Lucius: "So, this is where you keep the car and suit?"

Bruce: "Yes."

Bruce approaches the mannequin, puts on the suit, puts the gadgets in the belt, walks out, and gets in the Batmobile.

Lucius: "Do you need me to do anything?'

Batman: "Alfred's gonna watch over me."

Lucius: "How?"

Batman: "I added cameras to the suit and car."

Batman shuts the car door, then drives off. He sees a police blockade out a museum, and grapples into a vent. He shuts off the power in the building, makes his way to the area the hostages are at, right hooks Rhino, left hooks Mugsy, and tries to attack Weskar, who turns.

Weskar: "Whose there!?"

Batman looks at Arnold's face, and sees a green tint in his eyes. He uppercuts him, and leaves.

The Batmobile drives into the cave, and Batman gets out.

Batman: "Someone drugged the robbers with something.."

Batman: "I just need to know who did it, and with what."
