This is the 46th chapter. I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of Justice League.
BrianShooter672: 1) They might, but it'll get them to realize they're no match of Clark or Jonathan. And yeah I would, which the HPSC might try something to get the Bat Family and the other heroes. 2) Not yet, I'm still focusing on what's in front of me. Also, it'll be a while before I do anything else.
A Twist
After the fight against the Vanguard Action Squad and with the Fear Toxins is purified thanks to Wind Dragon, Kurogiri showed up out of nowhere in the middle of the forest. Also, both Magne and Spinner somehow vanished and out of camp since they failed to capture Bakugo and Izuku, but he only left Muscular, Mustard, Moonfish, Scarecrow, Prometheus, and Black Siren behind because of the three aren't affiliated with the League of Villains and having different goals. However, the students and the group of Heroes were able to find the Fear Toxins and cuts it off to stop it from spreading, but they're having no luck on finding Ragdoll.
"Come on, we could've help them!" Eijiro protests with a scowl. "I can't let them get away with this! You gotta let me fight!"
"Not a chance." Batgirl answered.
"But why not?" Eijiro demands.
"You're still not ready to go against those criminals, and they're stronger than any of you." Red Robin told him. "And you still lack formal training and relying on your powers too much."
"But they still need help, shouldn't we get out there instead of looking for Ragdoll?!" Jurota suggests.
"You can't seriously wanna face the bad guys!" Mineta muttered, didn't want to fight.
"Jurota gets it! Even you guys are fighting those villains!" Eijiro adds.
"Only because we know what we're doing." Batgirl points out. "And trust us on this, Bruce taught us how and this is what we're meant for."
"She's right, we learned from him, Mom, and Selina. There's a big difference between you guys and us." Red Robin adds.
Apparently, the Gordon siblings made a valid point since they fought against criminals longer than them. Even though, Eijiro gritted his teeth in frustration which he was already aware of that. Until, they heard a scream loud enough to hear.
"What the heck was that?!" Eijiro asks, covering his ears. "Whoever is making that scream, it's hurting my ears!"
"That must be the Canary Cry!" Red Robin shouts.
"A what?!" Mina exclaims, also covering her ears.
"A Canary Cry, a power grants you to unleash a supersonic scream to either sent the criminals away with shockwaves or stun them." Batgirl explains. "It was used by Black Canary."
"Black Canary?!" Eijiro exclaims in shock, but grins. "Hell yeah, I'm a big fan of her! I've read so many comics of her, and let me tell ya, she's one of the deadliest fighters with a deadly scream! It's awesome and manly!"
Batgirl and Red Robin were impressed of Eijiro knowing about Black Canary, which he's a fan of her and her fighting prowess and her power. Mineta however, is started to have some perverted thoughts about the first Black Canary, causing the gun to fire right next to the pervert.
"You know, you should be focusing on running instead of thinking about women." The voice of Red Hood said as he and the others revealed themselves from the shadows. "You heard that scream too?"
"Yeah, it's coming from the camp." Batgirl answered. "I'm sure Batman and the others has it covered."
"No doubt." Red Hood agrees. "But we should get the students evacuated. Nightwing and the rest of the group are heading the same direction, if hearing that scream counts."
With that, they're now heading to camp to meet up with Batman and the others, hoping they'll be able to get there in time to help out.
At the camp, the Bat Family, the Arrow Team, Zatanna, Aizawa, and some of the students are now facing against Kurogiri who's responsible of the villains disappearance by using the Warp Gate Quirk. Though, Kurogiri wasn't able to get Moonfish, Mustard, or Muscular because they're hidden somewhere, but he has no interest on taking Scarecrow, Prometheus, or Black Siren.
"Kurogiri." Batman growls with a brooding glare.
"Batman, didn't think I'd see you and your team again." Kurogiri said. "I've been waiting for them for 5 minutes, and it would appear they somehow failed to get Midoriya and Bakugo."
"That's because we're a few steps ahead of you." Catwoman told him with a smirk, readying her whip. "We already learned you're after a certain broccoli head and that hot head over there."
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!" Bakugo yelled angrily.
However, little did the Mistress of Magic know that Mr. Compress turns himself into a marble to release himself from the chains as he uses his power to turn himself back into a human form.
"Ugh, I can't believe I've let my guard down and wrecked my exit. So humiliating." Mr. Compress said, dusting himself.
"Hm, you manage to escape from my chains. Impressive, but too bad you didn't get what you want." Zatanna states.
"Or did I?" Mr. Compress asks smugly, walking towards the portal when he revealed the marble from his fingers. "Seems I've outsmarted a Mistress of Magic. A simple misdirection and a slight hands to make it magic."
It got the students and Aizawa, except the Arrow Team, the Bat Family, and Zatanna, shocked of Mr. Compress.
"We'll see who gets the last laugh." Zatanna said.
"Oh? Well, it would appear I have the last laugh. Now, I bit you all adieu." Mr. Compress said with a tip of his hat as he vanished along with Kurogiri.
Time seems to slow down as the League of Villains retreat with Bakugo. Aizawa and the students were completely stunned that the criminals got what they came for, causing Izuku to yell at the sky with his knees down to the ground and in tears. The students were aiming to be what they could only hope to become, but the villains won. They won when Mr. Compress caught Bakugo with his own magic, crossed into the portal and disappeared.
They have failed.
Or did they?
"Will you calm down, he may have tricked me, but I still tricks under my sleeves." Zatanna told them which it got their attention.
"What do you mean? They got Bakugo!" Tenya protests. "How could you be so calm about this?!"
"Because a magician should never reveal his secrets, and like I said, we'll see who gets the last laugh." Zatanna said. "Now what's that you got stuck in your ear?"
It got Tenya confused when Zatanna pulls something out of his ear, which happens to be the marble. Tenya quickly grabs his ear in shock, but Aizawa knows what she's planning.
"Alright, now, watch as I turn this marble back into a human." Zatanna informed them, begins waving her wand. "arbadacarbA!"
Then, she slams the marble down to the ground as smoke appears when they heard a coughing sound.
"Who the hell did that?!" The voice of Bakugo shouts as the smoke disappears.
"Ta da!" Zatanna said with a smirk, motions her hands to Bakugo.
Tenya then clapped his hands with a cheer along with the students, except Aizawa, who's impressed of the magic talent and yet relieve to see Bakugo back here. Though, it got them wondering who did Mr. Compress caught from the marble, but they all know that he left empty-handed.
Around few minutes later, the police arrived after the Arrow Team and the Justice League left the scene. The police arrested the criminals from the camp, gathered the Fear Toxins, and getting the students home safely since neither of them are hurt. Commissioner Gordon are right now in front of the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta which they're having some discussion.
"Everyone is all accounted for, all except the two criminals and Ragdoll." Commissioner Gordon informed them.
"Kurogiri showed up out of nowhere and use his Quirk to get Magne and Spinner to their hideout." Nightwing informed her.
"I'm not surprised, those villains are getting pretty desperate." Commissioner Gordon said.
"Commissioner, was there any reason why they're striking us at camp when it's supposed to be not known?" Catwoman inquires, crossed her arms.
Commissioner Gordon then ponders for a few seconds, but it got her realizing the reason why those villains are attacking and cause the USJ incident along with Stain attacking the Pro Heroes at Hoso City. However, there's also Riddler causing the 'Zero Year' incident and the Court of Owls murdering innocent lives.
"There might be some link to this: 2 incidents at USJ and Hoso City, along with Riddler's Zero Year and the Court of Owls, the League of Villains are after 2 pinnacles of the superhuman society. U.A. High and All Might." Commissioner Gordon explains. "But regardless of the incidents that's been occurred, the trust of the Pro Heroes has been damaged. The management of HPSC is not even close to the League, and it keeps allowing the villains to slip away and attack. Many of the people are losing morals of trusting the Pro Heroes."
"And if they kidnap one of the students, like Bakugo, it'll only get worse." Batman states, deduced.
"Right, and after we've learned, it seems the villains are trying to do that." Commissioner Gordon agrees. "But after you guys are here and protecting the city, they're right now putting trust to all of you and the other group of independent heroes."
The Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta agreed to the Commissioner since she made a valid point after learning from the news.
"So, what will you do now?" Commissioner Gordon questions.
"We'll start gathering information of where the villains are hiding tomorrow." Batman answered. "Tonight is hectic enough for us."
"That'll be best, you deserve a break." Commissioner Gordon replied.
And with that, the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta decided to leave and start searching for information another day.
The next day at Nighteye Agency, Sir Nighteye is starting to have visions from his Quirk. His vision is beginning to show Izuku, the Bat Family, Catwoman, Delta, Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club, Task Force X, Sons of Japan Motorcycle Club, the Atlanteans, and the Justice League were being declared as public enemy by the Hero Public Safety Commission supported by the Japanese Government. Afterward, many people from around the globe turned against the HPSC and the Pro Heroes and support the heroes instead. He also saw Batman sacrificed himself to save Izuku and being killed by All For One, which made him snap and try to kill, following the incident. The HPSC are trying to recruit Izuku, who lost hope to the Hero Society, which he's been protected by the Sons of Japan Motorcycle Club and decided to quit U.A. High along with the students to join the Justice League. With the Pro Heroes consider as 'Has Being' by the people who saw them as Fake Heroes as Stain described, the HPSC decided to wage war. Afterward, a Civil War breaks up in Japan between the vigilantes known as the 'True Heroes' with some of the Pro Heroes join them against the Pro Heroes known as 'Fake Heroes'.
It got Sir Nighteye gasp with horror and dread when he saw that vision. Normally, he would try to warn All Might about that vision, but couldn't because of the argument.
'I should've warn Toshi about what my vision was like...I've never seen something so horrific...and yet, terrifying.' Sir Nighteye mentally thought.
While at U.A. High, it was still summer vacation the next day, but it's anything but peaceful. When word of the attack spread, the media descended on the school which it's no surprise they're facing a high amount of scrutiny from news outlet. And it's worse. Not only have they allowed an organized group of villains to attack and put the students in danger, but the Fear Toxins were shown from the news along with the return of Scarecrow. The people were fed up with the villains being able to gain the upper hand, but the people were glad the vigilantes took matters into their own hands. Now everything about the school was called into question in the outbreak of the scandal.
"When are you going to open the gates?!"
"We hear your silence!"
"When can we expect an official statement from U.A.'s administration?!"
Has anyone been in contact with the families of the children you've allowed to be in danger?!"
The people of the media continued to yell at the school for someone to come out and answer their questions. However, there's no one to hear them. The halls were completely empty and the classrooms were neat and tidy.
The staff members of U.A. High are at the conference room, having some serious discussions about the incident that happened recently.
"That training camp was meant to prepare students to handle villain attacks, the irony is shameful." Nezu said when he called the staff members in the conference room to go over what just happened and they could do, which the situation has completely stumped them. "We knew the League would resurface, but we lacked the fundamental understanding of their plans. They aim to destroy Hero Society, and they've already started their war."
Midnight looked down at her hands with a frown. What she heard from the reports troubled her deeply, especially when she heard that Jonathan Crane, known as Scarecrow, came back and try to test his Fear Toxins in the middle of the forest.
"Even if we had understood, could we really have avoided this attack? They're moving pieces we didn't even though they possessed." Midnight said, trying her best to maintain her professionalism which it's proven difficult. She lifted her head up to look at the principal. "Besides, All Might put an end to most organized crime. We're all rusty."
"We've definitely gotten complacent during peaceful times without realizing it." Present Mic replied. "I guess deep down all of us thought that we'd be riding the sweet life for good."
"But after what we've learned from Ethan and the others, things have been very difficult for us since the League of Assassins, Court of Owls, Riddler, and Scarecrow came and made it worse." Sniper adds.
All Might however, was hit the hardest of all and he's absolutely devastated when he got the news of the attack and the return of Scarecrow, it killed him inside when he learned of it. He thought that Izuku would be safe at camp and away from the League of Villains until they could find them. But now his successor faces the criminals, which he was lucky that help came.
"I will never forgive myself for such cowardly ignorance." All Might said in shame, racked with guilt when he sat at the table with his hands over his head. "While our students were fighting desperately for their lives while Batman and the others help out, I was just having a relaxing soak in the bath."
"We shouldn't had this Sports Festival right after the USJ attack. We wanted to show that we were still strong, but it all did was give the villains all the information needed to know about the students. Not to mention the League of Assassins killed Bruce Wayne right on the spot." Snipe said, clenched his fist in frustration. "To have him murdered by the hands of Ra's and the numbers of incidents is our greatest failures as teachers. They've taken the society's faith in Heroes away from us."
"I agree, every news out that is currently condemning U.A. High." Nezu agrees, grabbing the tablet and the article as he shows them to the staff members. In it was an image of Bakugo when he's muzzled and chained like an animal. "If Bakugo was one of the main targets, it's likely because the villains noticed his violent tendencies during the Sports Festival broadcast. If he ends up joining the side of the villains, that will be the end of U.A. as a school. However, we were lucky that Ethan and his team along with the other group of heroes prevented that from happening."
But it doesn't make them any better. While they're relieve that the group of vigilantes were able to save the students, but their reputation is badly damaged because of the villains. However, the conversation took an unexpected turn when Present Mic spoke.
"Since we're on the topic of trust, there's something I think it has to be voiced now." Present Mic said to them. "At this point, we can't deny it anymore, can we? We already know Yuga is a traitor, and we've got word from the Commissioner. Someone else outside of school tipped those villains off."
That stunned the rest of the staff members, who looked at him with widen eyes.
"I'm not say that it's Batman or anyone else, and we know only the teachers and the Pussycats knew where the training camp would be." Present Mic points out, standing up in anger. "Don't you think that's a little suspicious?! I guess someone could've used the phone to message a villain-"
"Stop this, Mic!" Midnight said sternly.
"What's the problem?! We have to find who the leak is!" Present Mic shouts.
"Could be you for all we know." Snipe said. "You got any proof that you're 100% innocent? Can we know that everyone in this room is an ally?"
Losing the argument, Present Mic groaned and sat back in his chair with his arms crossed.
"If we start doubtin' each other, we'll destroy ourselves from the inside." Snipe points out. "Accusing a traitor isn't somethin' we should take lightly."
"At the very least, I trust everyone sitting at this table." Nezu said with confidence. "Though, there's also no way for me to prove to all of you that I am innocent. For the moment, what we must do as a school is concentrate on guaranteeing the safety of our student body. This is a good time to implement something I've wanted to put in place for a while. You see, I..."
Suddenly, the lights from the conference room were turned off which it got the staff members spooked and it got them wondering of who turned the lights off. Then, the lights were turned back on, only to show Red X standing there as he slowly walk towards the principal when the staff members glared at him.
"Who are you? And why are you here?!" Present Mic shouts. "Were you-"
"If you shut up and hear me out, I'll give you what you want." Red X interrupts, then turns back to Nezu. "We need to talk."
"First, you tell me who you are and why are you here." Nezu suggests.
"Sorry, I'm not here for that, I'm here to give the information about a mole who tipped them off." Red X told them which it got their attention. "I got word from the Talia and her assassins, Jonathan Crane is the mole. He tipped the League of Villains of the Pussycats location."
It got the staff members stunned, including Nezu.
"While he gives the location to the criminals, he's basically using them as his scapegoats for his twisted experiment for the new Fear Toxins. It worked at first when he spread the gas in the entire forest, but his plan is foiled because of Batman and his team." Red X explains.
"I see, it would explain why the League came and attack the students at camp." Nezu said. "And why they're after Bakugo."
"But why are you telling us?" Midnight questions. "Even what you've told us, there should be a motive."
"Don't get the wrong idea!" Red X warns her. "I'm not picking sides; I'm only given all of you the info. If anything, you should've thought about facing reality instead of making fools of yourselves for all that crap."
Present Mic is starting to get angry, about to argue when Red X threw the shuriken next him and hit the wall, causing his cheek to trickle with blood.
"Anyway, that's all the information I can give you." Red X said, pulls out a pellet. "Later."
And with that, Red X slams his smoke pellet down to the floor as smoke appears. Snipe, Present Mic, and Midnight were about to capture him, but soon as the smoke clears, he vanished.
"What the?! When did he-"
"If what he said about Jonathan Crane is true, then I'm afraid it's already too late after what has transpired." Nezu informed them. "Also, I don't think he's in a mood for talking because of the injection of Fear Toxins according to the police."
"That make sense, and we already know who injected him with that gas." Snipe said which they knew it was Batman. "But still, wonder what are they planning next?"
"If I knew Batman, he might try to get the information." Nezu said with a ponder.
At the Batcave, the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta were now working out. Ethan is lifting the barbell that weights 400 pounds, both Dick and Jason are sparring along with the Gordon siblings and Iwao, Delta is working her marksmanship along with her tactics, and Eri and Lita were running through the obstacle course. Then, they heard the Bat Computer goes off since someone is trying to make contact. Ethan put the barbell next to the handle, about to sit up and walk over to the computer when Eri was already 2 steps ahead of him, answers the transmission and it shows Aizawa pops up on the screen.
"Oh, Ethan, Mr. Eraserman is trying to contact you." Eri informed him.
It got them snickered a bit when she mispronounces his Hero name. After they clean themselves up and getting changed, they walked up to the Bat Computer.
"First off, it's Eraser Head, not Eraserman." Aizawa told her.
"I don't know, she got you spot on." Iwao states with a smirk, much to his annoyance.
Ethan couldn't help but chuckle a bit as he moves Eri out of the computer chair and onto his shoulders.
"What can we do for you?" Ethan inquires.
"After last night at camp, Vlad King and I tried to get the information from Scarecrow of where we could find the League of Villains hideout. But...he's still in the effects of the Fear Toxins." Aizawa informed him. "Guess he's not in the mood to talk."
They got the idea why because of Ethan given Crane a taste of his own medicine.
"Anyway, we talk to Detective Tsukauchi and Commissioner Gordon after given them a comprehensive statement. They seem to find something, and it's possible they have a lead on where they're hiding." Aizawa explains while changing the subject, which it got them interested. "About two weeks ago, he sent an officer around to gather information. A bystander pointed out that he'd seen a man with face mask on his face, which we've got the idea of who it is, and he entered a building that's supposed to be vacant. They spoke with the owner, and found there's a hidden bar there. They thought it's unrelated to the kidnapping case, and didn't investigate further."
"And let me guess, they found the description of Tomura Shigaraki?" Catwoman asks.
"Yeah, they've got the call from the owner this morning." Aizawa answered. "But right now, they're planning to gather the Pros and head to the location for a cleanup mission. And I have my doubts that they'll get it done because of All For One and two Superman."
"I was thinking the same, because according to the files. Clark Kent is a Kryptonian from Metropolis and Jonathan Kent is a hybrid, which they're gonna be in for a hell of a fight they can't win. Especially All Might." Ethan points out.
Aizawa agrees to his statement.
"And that's why I call you guys, because you got the Kryptonite with you and we need it." Aizawa said. "They're hideout is located at Kamino. It'll happen tonight, better suit up and get your gear ready."
After the transmission ends, the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta started to suit up to get ready to head for Camino.
At the Camino city at the hidden bar, the League of Villains were watching the media since it's been all over the news of the attack last night. Shigaraki is very pleased of himself while turning up the volume on the TV.
"It would appear that the Principal behind the U.A. High training camp attack called themselves the League of Villains' Vanguard Action Squad. The League was previously involved in the USJ attack and the Hoso Incident-"
Shigaraki changed the channel.
"The youngest victim in the training camp attack is reportedly the son of the Pro Heroes Water Hose, who was saved by Batman and his team by the hands of Muscular-"
He changed the channel again.
"It's pretty obvious to me that there's some sort of problem with U.A.'s current management. If I had a child who wanted to become a Hero, there's no way I'd enroll them in a school that'll-"
Shigaraki then turned off the TV, cackling with pleasure with what the news reported. Even though, the outcome of the attack was something they didn't expected, with the VAS captured Bakugo.
"I'm so grateful to the media for all the free publicity lately." Shigaraki said with a glee, placing the remote down as he turns to Bakugo, but...
POP!
Bakugo popped like a balloon and the confetti was blown right in their faces, which it got them.
"What?!" Shigaraki exclaims. "What's going on?! Why did-"
"It's that Zatanna! She tricked us!" Mr. Compress shouts angrily. "I don't believe this, I've got outsmarted by that Mistress of Magic!"
The League of Villains were in disbelief, after hearing the name of Zatanna, who's the member of the Justice League and a magician. All For One broadcasts on the TV which it got their attention.
"Hmm, it would seem we've been fooled by Batman. He's always a few steps ahead." All For One told them. "I didn't want to come to this, but I'm gonna be bringing out one who's the lover of the first Batman...Wonder Woman..."
Then, the shadowy figure was revealed who's none other then Diana Prince, also known as, Wonder Woman, the Amazon of Themyscira. She was one of the co-founders of the Justice League and a hero, but died when she fought against the Legion of Doom. However, All For One somehow revived her with the Lazarus Pit and use his Quirk to mind control her.
"Thanks to Brainiac, not only we've got two Superman, but Wonder Woman with our side." All For One said. "Now, find Batman and his team, dispose of them."
Wonder Woman then complied as she left the bar, taking flight to find Batman and the other heroes. But as soon as she takes flight, Wonder Woman groans in pain as she places her hands on her head, hearing voices.
'Diana, remember of who you are! You are the daughter of Zeus! You're Wonder Woman, a hero!'
'Diana, my little sun and stars, you're the Princess of Themyscira. You are Wonder Woman, don't destroy innocent lives! You must fight it, you must remember of who you truly are!'
Wonder Woman began to grunt in pain, trying to fight it when she heard the voices of her mother, Queen Hippolyta, and the ruler of Mt Olympus, Zeus. Her mind is in turmoil when All For One uses his Quirk.
'Wonder Woman, do as you are ordered! Find Batman and kill him!'
'You be silent, you insolent worm! She doesn't belong to you! You will face the consequences for reviving her and use her as a mindless doll!?'
'Oh? And why would I? And can do whatever I please!'
'You will never control her! NOW BEGONE DEMON!?'
Wonder Woman screams when lightning strikes her in the head, breaking the mind control power and struck All For One, causing him to fly out of his seat and crashed into the tubes in pain.
Wonder Woman then shakes her head in pain, trying to shake the daze off of her. She then opened her eyes with determination as she takes flight to find Batman.
Back at the Batcave, the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta suit up for going to Camino City in order to face the League of Villains and two Superman. But just as they're about to leave, they heard an alarming sound that was coming from the mansion. Batman walks to the Bat Computer, turns it on when the screen shows Diana Prince, the first Wonder Woman appeared at the front door. It got him shocked along with the others.
"Diana! She's alive!?" Red Robin exclaims in disbelief. "How?!"
"I have a few ideas." Nightwing said, crossed his arms while Red Hood thought the same thing.
They knew that it was All For One revived Diana by using the Lazarus Pit, but tried to use his power to mind control her which it didn't end very well for him.
"Should we get her inside?" Delta questions. "It looked as if she's looking for someone."
"We should." Batman answered. "We should hear her out first."
They nodded with an agreement as they decided to head upstairs to the Wayne Manor, hoping to get answers from her.
Wonder Woman was waiting for the door to open, which she was hoping to find Bruce Wayne and get answers. Just then, she head the door open as the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta revealed themselves which it got her widen her eyes.
"Bruce?" Wonder Woman said. "It's good you survived during the fight against the Legion of Doom, but you haven't aged."
"Sorry, I'm not Bruce Wayne." Batman told her, removing his cowl. "My name is Ethan Wayne, Bruce is dead."
It got Wonder Woman shocked in disbelief when he told her.
"He's telling the truth." The voice of Red X said, earned her attention. "Bruce died by the hands of Ra's Al Ghul."
"No!" Wonder Woman exclaims.
"Why don't we come inside and I'll tell you everything." Ethan suggests as they went inside.
After a few minutes at the Wayne Manor, Wonder Woman was devastated after learning of Bruce Wayne died by Ra's Al Ghul, along with the return of Nightwing and Red Hood. She looked down to the floor, feeling broken to that he's gone.
"I see...so the world has forgotten about the Justice League." Wonder Woman said sadly.
"Basically, yeah." Lita replied.
"But we're making changes to make the world a better place and carrying out their work." Ethan points out. "And Diana, we could use your help."
"How?" Wonder Woman questions.
"We learned their hideout is at Camino city, and All For One has abducted Jonathan and revived Clark with the Lazarus Pit." Dick answered, leaving Wonder Woman shocked. "We may have the Kryptonite, but we need your help. You are the only one who can match Superman."
