Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Swords and Claws. Enjoy the 8600-word chapter. I do not own Transformer, Hasbro does.
Slash slammed through dozens of meters of concrete; her shell strong enough to shatter through layers of stone like it was paper. She was a Dinobot, they were strong enough to break almost anything on Earth.
She was beaten down by the rest of the soldiers around her… She was curious as to how it would have been like it differently for now.
To be fair? They had too much to deal with now to be distracted and it had been something for now… She had a lot of different ideas now than before.
She had not been too distracted by this; she would not be pushed past her limits from now… Now? Now she just wanted to relax…. And she would have relaxed.
(With Frost)
Frost found himself in paradise in battle. He was a soldier; the battle was something he found himself the most. He was not too much of a soldier as a warrior, someone who knew exactly how to fight, exactly how to battle the enemy.
Frost dodged around another seeker and was slammed into by another seeker. He felt their body shatter into fragments against his frame, an explosion of fire and smoke sending him crashing to the ground.
Something about battle would end… Something about it would have always ended… But he was not yet done.
"They have yet to send their best here… Either they are arrogant or cowards…. Or both." Frost stated in a tone that reeked of contempt.
Frost of all people knew that the Decepticons were not stupid. This much air power could bring any ground battle to a halt and even reduce the city to ash if they resisted.
Granted? He had no idea what their goal was… But if it was oblivion to all resistance? This combined with the massive army on the ground seemed to show that the idea of full decimation at Decepticon hands was possible.
Another explosion reminded Frost that even this war for the skies was a temporary one. They had held more and more power but they could not hold off the sheer number of seekers here.
He turned to the others, looking at one of the Aerialbots.
"Got any other tricks? We cannot hold them off much longer." Frost stated, shielding more and more fire with his wings.
"One… But it is a gambit… You are a Helluva weird Autobot." Frost heard as he snorted to himself before he looked to the side.
Frost sighed before he looked to the side and shook his head and he knew more and more the battle was bothering him as he cracked his fingers… He had not been disturbed as he paused to think of it all. He had been too much for now.
Frost was humming once more… He knew that this option might become easier and easier to relax once more as he paused to think of what was going on now.
He had been too dealt with for now… He had been too distracted as he seemed to think of it all now… He had been too distracted.
He had been too distracted it all now… An idea that he had been too much to deal with for now… He had not been too much now.
Frost smirked to deal with it all… He wanted to fight once more… He knew this move was all to deal with for now.
"If we are going to fight? We are going to fight…. Get the plan out of here… If we are going to be doing something done?" Frost stated.
The others agreed. The plan had to be unveiled… Now? Now it was clear that they had to unveil it all.
Frost seemed to be dealing with it for now… He had been too distracted with it all as he paused.
(With Slash)
Slash was silent… Very silent… But she felt at odds with everything. She was silent, very silent, and eager to understand what was going on.
She knew the battle above had thrown her off… She had felt something else had to be done and something would come now as a reaction to it all… Now? Now she knew he would not submit; she would not have allowed him to relax for now.
To be fair? The chaos within her was too much for now… It was more chaotic… More she could not have dealt with for now… More left to control and understand now within the end of it all now and always as of the time.
It was more exciting, and more something that needs to become more and more exciting… He had been taken down when it came down to it… Something about it all had been too distracted now at the end of it all… He had been all too much for now.
Slash was curious as to how it would have been done to fix it…. Something about this mission had made Slash at ease, she did not want to just do it for the hell of it all… Something about it all had been too much now and always.
It was more and more curious as to how it would have been… Odder how she turned something like this into a victory… Every single little idea in her mind as she paused to think of it all now.
Slash seemed to be dealt with as she paused and then thought of it all as she cracked her fingers once more.
It was too much to deal with for now… Slash wanted more pain and she wanted more combat at the time being.
(With Frost)
Frost flew upwards and into the sky and he had been too relaxed for now… He had been too much, he cracked his fingers and sighed, tired, his armor covered in energon and oil from fighting the enemies in front of him.
He had not been too distracted now, only beaten down when it came to relaxing… Now? Now he opened his optics.
"If you are going to be doing something? Do it, we do not have time to relax." Frost stated before he dodged around the barrage of fire.
He knew that he had been too distracted for now. He had been too beaten down, too much for now.
"We have a lot more to deal with… But that option is a last resort." Air Raid stated to which Frost snorted.
"We are nearing the end of that fiber optic cable," Frost stated, sighing as he paused, thinking of what was going on before he relaxed to himself… It had been something fun, something chaotic.
And the Eukarian was all too much now when it was all done and dusted as he paused to think of what was going on before he relaxed more and more for a good reason now and it had been too much for now.
Frost hummed and closed his optics, releasing another pair of missiles which exploded in the air for now.
Frost turned in time to notice all the Aerialbots start to smash together as he paused to think of what was going on.
'A gestalt?! Optimus has a gestalt class Cybertronian? Did he befriend Amalgamous Prime?' Frost questioned mentally.
(With Slash and the Dinobots)
Grimlock slammed the Insecticon into the wall and tore its head off before he turned to Slash.
"Optimus? We have almost cleared out the entire Insecticon hive…. There are plenty of bugs down here." Slash stated to which Frost hummed.
"How the frag did you combine!? What made you able to do that!?" Frost yelled, explosions coming over the radio.
"They? Frostfire, keep them focused on the Decepticons…. Continue to hold your position, we have almost cleared them out as of now." Frost stated before he looked to the side…
He had a lot more to try and figure it out… But Slash just remembered that Frost had never met Superion… As she had almost cracked up at the idea something like this was odd.
It was odder and odder at the time being… He had no real idea as he paused to think of what was going on before it all came down to it.
She had no real idea as of now… He had a lot more to deal with for now… As it slowly worked its way through them.
She had no idea as of now… It had been hard to think of the strategy of it all before now. She had no idea as she wished it to be the same for now… An idea like this was more than it needed to have been for now.
The tactics were simple, but the execution in getting there was not… And would never have been like that for now. She knew that for now.
She knew that more and more as it came to it…. She had not been able to think of it all properly.
Frost sounded… Surprised, thrown off, he was too easily encapsulated for now at the end of the day… He had no real idea of this.
Frost stayed silent as he relaxed once more… He had a lot more to deal with for now. Frost cleared his vocal processor and spoke a few minutes later.
"I will…. Do what I am able. The gestalt is slaughtering everything near it… Which means I am forced to keep my distance." Frost stated with obvious surprise within his words for now.
He did not at all know what was going on inside his mind… He had no idea as he paused to think of what was going to be done now and for a good reason.
(With Frost)
Frost was almost shattered with surprise when the group of Autobots slammed together, their bodies surprising and transforming as he thought of the next move.
They were doing more than transforming… They were combining, limbs snapping out of each other and a few other limbs… A massive skull rose from the top of their body.
He was surprised… But it was still odd.
That warrior trumped every Decepticon in size and power by miles… It was clear they were a massive soldier but a weapon of sheer size and power that they could not control.
They were a weapon…. And Frost was in awe of that. He was forced to fly off, unsure of what they would do. Could they make the Decepticons retreat for a time? Yes.
Could they control a combiner? No.
(With Slash and the Dinobots)
More soil and more dirt were tossed to the side. The Dinobots dug through dirt like it was water, they dug their paws in and tugged, tossing it aside.
"Why does Optimus want this cleared?" Grimlock asked to which Slash rolled her eyes at her older brother.
"So, we can get out of here," Slash stated, opening more mouth as flames belched from the chamber of her mouth… It belched out flames that cut through collapsed concrete.
"So? He too coward to back up his work?" They heard as he snorted.
"Shut up, Slug." Slash hissed as she tossed more and more concrete to the side, her arms flexing as the servos inside worked. "You are just whining Overlord whooped your skid plate halfway across the ocean," Slash added, smirking at the angry Dinobot.
Slug growled, the massive Dinobot growling out at her. Slash turned and was met face-to-face with the grumpy triceratops.
Slash snorted as she growled out a challenge, she looked over to Grimlock who turned and then slowly approached.
"Shut up…. Slug." Grimlock hissed out as he paused and then looked to the side.
Grimlock did not respect Optimus… Asking him to do anything for the Autobot leader was a 50% chance now. Now? But he was not to be done now.
Grimlock turned to Slash, the Tyrannosaurus Rex's crimson optics buried into her own. She smirked, daring her older brother to do something.
"You always take her fragging side…" Slug hissed, turning away.
"Prime? The tunnel is dug… Get bigger bots out… Dinobots will stall Decepticons." Grimlock stated.
There was silence… Something about it all gone on now and for a good reason.
Slash knew… Her brother would never claim to care, never wish to care for the other Autobots… But he hated bullies, hated the idea of others suffering.
Grimlock was a lot of things but nobody could claim he did not care about a single other Autobot.
(With Frost and the Aerialbots)
Frost barely dodged a strike which almost tore one of the wings off his spine… If one of the hits had connected? He would be scrap.
Frost put distance between the Autobot Combiner and himself. it was not like the Decepticon armada would bring down Superion… He was too tall and too powerful to be brought low by such a barrage of gunfire.
And Frost did not wish to harm the massive Autobot… He was too giant… And a friend.
"Son of Primus? As much as I dislike a dishonorable plan… I believe we might need another… The gestalt is destroying every single enemy in sight… But that also means it is attempting to slay me." Frost added, dodging around one of Superion's fingers.
He flew away, spun around, and rested with his wings flapping in front of him, framing his reptilian skull.
"Superion will retreat when he is exhausted most of his destructive rage… Return to the tunnels, Frostfire… We will clear a path…." Frost heard as he looked at the dying humans.
Frost felt his oil boil and decided he could spare a minute or two for payback. Frost unfurled his wingtip cannons.
"When I avenge the 12 dead organics who just died to help us buy time…" Frost stated, bile in his words as he roared out in fury at the savages.
He would bathe in energon… Then he would regroup. One kill for each pilot first… Then retreat.
(With Slash)
slash turned to see Magnus slam through a loose wave of limestone before transforming as other Autobots started to follow.
'Hoist, Grapple, Huffer, Skids…. The majority of Autobots were involved in fighting. No wonder most of us were led by General Magnus.' Slash thought as she counted every single Autobot passing by.
She knew not every soldier was here… Those who could find passage above ground had been able to deal with for now…. She had not been able to think of what was going on.
She had no idea what was going on before she managed to think of what was going on now.
She and he were both matched in different ways now when it came down to it as he paused to think of what was going on before she relaxed once more.
They had something else to deal with for now it paused to deal with for now as he looked to the side once more.
"Where are the Aerielbots? Where the frag is Frost?" Slash asked before another explosion was heard overhead, making her look up.
"Cowardly, dishonorable dastards! I will destroy more of you soon!" Frost hissed over the radio as the dragon slammed directly into the ground.
Slash's audio receptors slowly twitched as she and the others thought of it all before it came down to it.
"Subway station… That is where most of those damn bugs are…." Slash stated before she turned to Optimus. "I'll get him, we all meet at the junction now?" Slash asked to which Optimus nodded.
"Magnus, take the others through the tunnels! I am not leaving our flank until every Autobot has evacuated." Optimus stated as he turned.
Optimus sighed and questioned how many soldiers the humans had lost attempting to hold this city against the Decepticons. Valient as it was? They were no match for the Decepticons.
(With Frost)
Frost slammed through the small piece of concrete, his body crushing the stone as he tore through it. He cursed, Energon dripping from his frame and oil, he was tired for now.
He had no idea as to how it would come down to it for now. Frost was tired, exhausted, beaten down… Angry, confused, beaten to the idea.
Frost was thrown off, thrown off at the end of the day for now… Some battles were nothing compared to the war.
He knew the war. He knew glimpses of it at least, now? Now it was cutting into him.
Frost tore his way underground, the anger he felt was replaced with a loathing of himself. His pride, and his desire to punish those he deemed monsters had cost more brave souls their lives.
He smashed a metal fist through the wall if he was not so prideful? He could have done something… They had given 12 lives to save dozens more.
Not a fair trade, it would never be one to the Eukarian. He would make sure the Decepticons were forced from this world at all costs, even if it meant his spark.
Frost flew down the tunnels, his optics lit the areas in front of him. Frost was curious as to how this would have been done for now.
He wanted to get back to Optimus and the Autobots, his first idea was to save lives and the second those lives were at stake. They were allowed only to relax for now.
It was something else to deal with for now, he had a lot more to deal with for now.
Frost of all warriors wanted nothing more than to relax, nothing more than to be out of here… Granted, as a warrior? He was not at all allowed to let such emotions come to the surface now.
He had no idea as to what was going on before he had to retreat and back down now and for a good reason… It had to be surrounded now and for a good reason.
"Frost?" Frost heard as he blinked, curious as it. "You are heading towards the heart of the Insecticon hive… Me and my brothers have torn through most of it… But there could have been problems, more of the damned bugs there." Slash stated before she hummed to herself as she wished to relax.
Frost heard this as he paused and then thought of it all differently, he knew something was coming, and yet? He was thrown off at the end of it.
Frost cleared his throat a few seconds later, eager to get to work for now… He had no real desire to deal with it for now as it crashed downwards.
He was silent, too silent as of now… It was more and more enjoyable now when it came down to it and for a good reason.
"So? I can destroy these insects and scrape them off… Are you and the others good? Are they ok?" Frost stated before he sighed and rubbed at his temples.
Still? He had been too thrown off… He had not been able to think.
(With Slash)
Slash rushed through the tunnels, too curious as to how it would have been dealt with before now… But they expected most of them had evacuated through the tunnels.
Slash knew the Insecticons. They were annoying bugs but could be killed in direct combat. Swarms of them were all too much for now and for a good reason.
She knew that each little bug would be all too much for now… He had no idea as to how it would have been something at the end of the day.
Slash seemed to be dealt with for… He would die, she felt anger at the idea of the Eukarian throwing away his life was something that needed to be done for now.
She did not at all know what was going on now… Something about it all had been more and more relaxed once more.
Slash hurried her pace without herself noticing. She was curious as to how this would have not had to deal with for now. However? Slash was curious about what drove him to be curious as of now.
He had no idea as to how it would be… Just what he had to deal with for now…. Something about it all had been too much for now. She had not been in the right state of mind since she had been built on this planet.
Still? She had been too thrown off now and too disturbed now and again and again and again.
What little she had known was simple… She was a warrior at the end… Something about it all had been too much to deal with for now.
Slash trampled dead Insecticons, her claws crushing pipes and her body slicing through the tracks as if they were made of.
He was a good warrior and she did not wish to see him suffer… Nor did, despite how stupid he was being.
'Is Frost that eager to die? There is nothing this way besides enemies and nothing…. He wants to fight to begin with for now.' Slash thought as she arrived at the junction and tore through the hole in the wall before he hummed.
(With Frost)
All Frost smelt was raw energon. Insecticons were filthy scavengers but they had the unique ability to eat anything and turn it into raw energon… Perhaps the Decepticons had bribed them with something.
Still? He stood up… If need be. He would transform but he favored his speed and flight down in a nest of dozens of the insidious insects to begin with.
Frost tossed himself down the hole… And instantly regretted it as he landed in something sticky and rocky.
Hive coating, the damn bugs had started terraforming these tunnels into more hive… Which meant…
Frost looked to the side, dozens of holes the size of cars were punched through the dozens of meters of concrete, and the shine of violet optics greeted him.
He screeched as the bugs tore themselves after him and Frost greeted them with his weapon systems.
(With Slash)
Slash hummed as she heard explosions and plasma fire… She knew that Frost was close, she smelt weapons fire.
She leaped down the walls, slamming her claws into the metal around her as she slammed straight into the ground.
Slash seemed to be dealt with as she paused, slamming into an abandoned subway train strong enough to collapse the roof of the vehicle.
An Insecticon slammed into the wall next to her as she turned and looked to the side.
Frost slid backward, almost ready to deal with the bugs as he paused, he did not expect her yet as he checked his internal clock. 10 minutes. It had been ten minutes since he had shown up.
Frost hummed and then watched as dozens of Insecticons slowly started flying around them. Frost and Slash looked at each other.
"You missed a spot." Frost joked as he shook the Energon coating his shell off. "You are insanely fast… How far away from you?" Frost questioned, curious as the two prepared to combat most of the hive.
"Over 5 kilometers… And yes, I am fast. I am a hunter; I kill and I stalk Decepticons." Slash stated as Frost hummed.
"Show me," Frost stated, his entire body tensed up when he realized that the fight had come for them at the end.
He wanted battle, part of him still longed for battle as he knew that this all? All the battles before her had been too much… But this? This sort of thing would be entertaining and he knew damn well that they would fight.
Slash seemed to relax, something about it all had been too chaotic for now and he had no idea as to how it would go. It was just simple; he enjoyed this battle HEAVILY and that would not change now nor ever if he had any damn say in it all now and good.
Slash seemed to be dealt with for now as he thought of what was going on as he seemed to be dealt with for now.
Frost hummed, tapping his claws on the ground as he hummed.
"I smell 30…. You take 15 and I take 15?" Frost questioned before he paused to himself.
Slash shrugged, clearly thrown off now. She expected a fight and was not to be disappointed now.
One of the bugs slammed down towards her, a beetle which Frost ducked and put his tail through their skull before wrenching it to the side, separating their skull and body.
Another came from behind as Slash turned and brought up her claws and cut through their stomach, sending the bug smashing into the ground as she paused.
Frost roared at the bugs, opening his wing struts which slowly started to reveal dozens of missiles… He was eager to fight.
"Come… Feast… Or I shall rip your bodies open and feast on your dying sparks." Frost stated before he sighed to himself.
The two pondered what was going on before she sighed to herself and then shook his head before he sighed… Each little idea in his brain was burning.
Another Insecticon, Frost slashed through it from gut to stern, sending it slamming into the ground at the speed of light.
Frost hummed to think of what was going on before he sighed to himself once more. He sighed and then watched as another 2 flew towards them again.
Frost and Slash opened their mouths, fire and ice respectively shooting out of it which hit them square in the face. The two beasts slammed into the wall, detonating in a ball of fire and Energon.
Frost hummed and rose, transforming as he rose to his feet. Pieces of metal slammed into each other as Frost's wrists slid back, revealing a pair of lasers as he fired the small weapon on each wrist.
Frost growled towards the rest of the Insecticons, he fired at every single one… All of it had been an idea they had not a single thing would come for now as he paused to think of it all for now at the time being.
There was a lot more to deal with for now… It had been something else to deal with and not something either understood.
(With Optimus)
Optimus stood guard… As he always would. His Autobots? They were endangered as much as possible…. Something about it all had gone so far out of the way it was almost unholy.
They had a lot more to deal with for now as he cracked his fingers… He prepared what else was going on.
Frost and Slash… Both were coming, he knew their escape was part of the fight, part of surviving to fight another war.
Optimus did not know them, either of them… But he would be damned before he let either of them suffer or die, not one Autobot faced destruction.
It had been more and more chaotic the more things appeared to have changed now at the end of the day. Each day? He watched the Autobots and Decepticons continue to fight and kill each other at the end of the day before he seemed to think of what was going on.
Optimus sighed and then thought of the fact peace was almost impossible when it came down to it as of the time being.
(With Slash and Frost)
Frost growled, angrily gripping one of the bugs into the wall, most of them had transformed into their robot forms to attack them once more.
Frost still tore through them, they were strong, well numbered, and even had weapons… But the Insecticons were all brutes, soldiers who had torn through things that were incapable of fighting backward.
He was curious, interested, he wanted to battle… But he was a soldier, a warrior. He knew that the Insecticons could and would have killed him if he made the wrong move.
Still? He was eager to fight, he found an ability to win, an ability to fight them now at the time being.
Slash had also attacked, interested in combat when it had been torn down. He had no idea how to deal with it for now as he paused, turned, and stabbed through another of the bugs.
"Scatter to the wind, I will crush you all if I must… But tell your master this planet is under my protection… Those of my comrades." Frost stated before he sighed to himself as he cracked a smile.
He was too tired, too exhausted at the end of the day… He had battled long before this planet, long before he had gotten to this planet.
Frost turned to look to Slash, he was curious as to how she fought… She cut another of the Insecticons in half, crushing its skull under her foot as she turned, slashing and hacking at the bugs.
Slash seemed to be at ease, she was tired but she wanted to fight and she fought… Beautifully.
'She fights like a Eukarian…. Do her brothers fight as well? I want to… Fight again, fight her again. I will make sure that we survive until I can handle that.' Frost stated before he hummed.
He was curious, very curious, and interested. Each Autobot he seemed to fight with was skilled, disciplined, and well organized… He was not surprised considering a Prime led them, the soldiers.
Slash seemed to be distracted once more and then thought of what was going on before he relaxed once more.
Frost seemed to be dealing with it as he hacked through the others. He was able to think of what was going on before he sighed to himself.
Frost seemed to be thinking of what was growing on before he sighed to himself before he thought of it as he thought of it all once more.
He had plenty of ideas for now… But most of his attention was on this fight once more and relaxed more.
Frost growled, too thrown off at the end of the day for now… He had been thinking too much, too many damn thoughts of what could happen.
Frost did not even draw his sword; he did not want it to kill some bugs… Instead? He shredded them with his claws as he did so… He was bored.
He was ok… Very ok now.
The Insecticons retreated, scuttling down the tunnels and he sighed, rubbing at his armor.
Frost grunted, his side hurt from a combo of laser fire and a lucky cut from an Insecticon… Nothing his self-repair systems could not fix like most Cybertronian soldiers.
Frost shifted back into wyvern mode and looked at Slash who did the same. The two stared at each other, covered in energon, and staring at each other.
"There will… Thank you for assisting me, you fight… Well." Frost said with interest before he sighed and then thought of what was going on.
To be fair? He was tired… But not so exhausted that he could not speak once more.
"So did you… But you are hurt…." Slash stated before she sighed.
Slash seemed to be relaxed for now… But she was a soldier, a skilled one and they knew exactly what was going on… They both knew war.
Frost being himself? Spread his wings, curious only as to how they would escape when he knew more and more enemies would arrive, the enemy would soon send reinforcements to attack them, which left out plenty of options.
Yet? He had a lot of different ideas. Now? Now he was eager to get out of here, eager to get to work for now at the time.
"I still wish to fight soon… And come, I will fly you through the hole in the wall. Your kin helped carve it? the stone looks melted like your flame breath but also chipped and cracked as if someone had shattered it all to pieces." Slash heard as she sighed.
She knew him, she knew better than anything. Now? Now she knew Frost was far smarter than he looked.
"Are you ever not digging into something?" Slash questioned as Frost hummed.
"I am a warrior… My travels have brought me to other worlds before, you act as if I am not used at all to other warriors… I can confirm I am indeed used to meeting similar Eukarians, I know my homeworld well." Frost stated as he and Slash exited through the wall.
Frost knew better than to put something in towards her as she paused to think of what was going on before he sighed.
Both climbed through the hole before Frost hummed, turning, and stabbing his tail through the ceiling as he paused to think of what was going on now.
Frost allowed the small little warrior to squeeze past him. Slash looked at him as Frost tore down part of the ceiling behind him.
"The fliers can reach the extraction point easier… There are a dozen smaller tunnels that allow them to reach the point, are there not?" Frost questioned, rock and stone slamming into the ground.
He had been too distracted now and for a good reason… Something about it all had been too much.
Frost turned, cyan optics closing and narrowing. The wyvern spread out his wings, cracking his claws on the ground, both slowly walked through the tunnels, Energon dripping off their chassis.
"You could have gotten yourself killed…." Slash stated before Frost shrugged, his wings upon his back and spreading them as far as both metallic wings would extend.
"It comes with being a knight, Slash…. This is not the first battle I have fought in, simply the first war." Frost stated, optics closing for a moment before twin lights still flooded the tunnel.
Frost and Slash walked, the sound of their talons scraping the stone under them, Frost folded in his wings entirely, unsure of what was going on.
Both entered the next chamber, looking at the stone, the caverns were narrowing, and Frost saw vehicle-sized tunnels dug through the solid stone… He brought a hand to one wall.
Still warm, the Dinobots had also melted their way through it. Frost hummed, turning to the smaller reptilian transformer next to him.
"Tell me about yourself," Frost stated, tail flickering as both slowly crawled through the stone, both tearing out more stone to make the passage more accessible to them.
"Why?" Slash questioned; skull tilted to the side once more.
"You, the Son of Primus? They know about me, the group of knights I serve…. But I do not know you, you fought me, impressed me." Frost stated before he sighed to himself and then relaxed once more as he paused.
(With Optimus)
Optimus took a pair of steps backward before the sound of footsteps slowly started to descend toward them as he relaxed once more.
Both Frost and Slash slowly emerged from the stone path. Both lizard-like robots looked at him as Frost hummed.
"Son of Primus… Your team still fights above ground at the time being." Frost stated before he sighed to himself once more.
"Air Raid and the others will soon come… What is important is many lives were saved." Optimus stated as Frost frowned, his metallic mouth curving downwards.
"At the cost of others," Frost stated, frowning, head lowered towards the ground.
"It is not a cost I wish to continue to make, Frost…. But we will honor their sacrifice by continuing to resist the Decepticon occupation." Optimus stated before he sighed to himself.
"The Decepticons will be waiting for us… There are dozens of Insecticons down here. If they were here? The Decepticons must be moving troops underground." Frost stated before he sighed.
He knew damn well they had no real choice, however. Above ground they were outnumbered, outgunned. Their forces were still dangerous, dishonorable, and undisciplined to begin with.
All he could do? Was slowly vanished underground. They had to retreat, something about it all had been bothering him. Yet? He kept it buried as best he was possible.
Frost hummed… Curious as to it all, something about it all had been an idea they could not understand…. Something about it all had not yet been easily beaten.
Rather than deal with such madness? They had a lot more left… Something about it all had been harder and harder to grasp.
It was more tiresome… And it drove them crazy.
"Frostfire? I wish to ask you something… The Decepticons wish to rule this planet, exterminate humanity… I must know if your mission will cause fractures between the Autobots and yourself." Optimus stated, glancing at the knight.
Frost cleared his throat, ice billowing out as he paused and relaxed for a few seconds…. Something about the question made him silent as he sighed and thought of it.
"I will do my best to aid you… Forgive me." Frost stated before he sighed. "I am not a comrade of your army yet; your soldiers do not fully trust me. The majority know me only as a soldier who has fallen into the leadership of the Autobots." Frost added before humming.
"The Autobots are not that hard to befriend," Optimus stated as Frost hummed.
"Perhaps… But I might be." Frost stated before slowly moving ahead. "And you wished to know who I seek? The one I was sent to hunt down and crush in my talons if I ever located them?" Frost questioned his tone far more ice cold.
It was clear he was asked only for something he could not deal with… Now? Now they had little left to gain and so much more to grasp for now.
It had been harder and harder to think of it all now… Such a thing that would become harder and harder if he said anything.
But Optimus was a Prime… One of the gods of their species or at least so close the line was blurred.
Frost decided the best case was still to spill the details, to speak for the time being.
"Star Saber… Their name is Star Saber, a student of Dai Atlas." Frost stated before he turned and left through the doorway, slowly pushing away the wreckage for now.
He hummed, Slash, following next to him as he paused to think of what was going on before he rubbed at his temples, his exhaustion flooding through his mind…. He had a lot more to deal with now than it had been done and dusted.
It was part of the work left to deal with, such that he could not understand what the best move was until it was too late.
Optimus stood there for a few moments, contemplating it all once more. Frost was a newcomer to the Autobots and he knew very well that this was all part of a problem Optimus could not let go.
Now? Now he was thrown off when it came to it… An idea that would need to end now, more distracted and a lot more painful when it was all said and done at the end of the time now.
It was more than it had to be, it was part of life and something that had to be dealt with for now… Optimus knew that they had a lot more to deal with.
Still? He was a soldier at the time being as he cracked his fingers… All of him told the Autobot leader he would need to regroup and gather all the Autobots under one banner again.
"Son of Primus… Optimus, we must go… Our audio sensors hear more of the blasted bugs tunneling in the soil around us." Frost stated, tapping the side of his skull where his ears were.
(With Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave)
Starscream glowered as Megatron was projected from Soundwave's skull, the hulking hologram the size of a small mountain before he looked to the side.
"I should not be surprised…. You always were a failure, Starscream." Megatron stated, the Decepticon ruler crossing his arms.
"You did not tell us they would be adding another flier to their ranks!" Starscream hissed and glowered. "If Deathsaurus stuck to my orders? He would have wiped out the Autobots and their insect allies!" Starscream hissed to which Shockwave rolled his optic.
"There was a 30% chance of failure if he completed these instructions," Shockwave stated before he sighed emotionlessly. "And the Eukarian was on Earth long before we were… The ice he was trapped within dates to 200 Earth years before. He is younger than the majority of Cybertronians, that would explain most of his mannerisms and such." Shockwave added before he looked to the side.
"Is he? So, it is true… Optimus has another Autobot in his ranks, one who appears to be as strong as he is annoying now." Megatron stated. "He is not the first beast to fight in our little conflict… Shockwave? Have you finished the work I assigned?" Megatron questioned.
"Locating the weapon is proving more tedious than it appears… The weapon predates any Cybertronian colony on Earth. I do not know where to start locating it, only that it is in the state you have occupied." Shockwave stated before he sighed to himself.
He had been too distracted now as he paused… Something about him had annoyed the Decepticon leader. His plans had been distracting him from commanding the war efforts and he was not at all known to the Earth as he wished it to be.
Still? He would not let the war that had occupied him so long keep him from victory. Let Optimus keep one victory… This planet and the insects upon it were his as he paused to think.
Still? He could and would decimate the humans if they resisted his plans, a lot more to try and figure it as it came down to it now.
Optimus would fall, all his enemies would fall and he would rule over them sooner or later. For now? He had plans left to try and work out, something that could have been easily done if he was allowed to deal with it for now.
This plan ended and it ended now. Now things would either float or sink.
"Keep an eye on the Autobots, Soundwave… And tell Deathsaurus to use whatever means needed to lure out this new Autobot… I want to see just what they can do and what they know." Megatron ordered before he cut the feed a few seconds later.
Starscream went to say something but was shut down from a glare by Soundwave. The Decepticons had wiped out Autobots before Earth and humanity had taken great losses in fighting them.
But it was clear if someone did not take over the reins of the Decepticon empire for now. They would lose all control over the city…. And the world.
(With Optimus and the Autobots)
"I still do not believe using Omega to transport the Autobots to the fallback position is wise, commander," Magnus stated before he looked to the side.
Optimus hummed… He agreed but very few Autobots had flight modes and moving their entire army was still as risky as ordering Omega to move.
But they had no choice. Optimus valued the safety of his army… His Autobots as much as anything else
"We have no choice, old friend… We will need time and we secured everything we need to protect." Optimus stated before he sighed to himself as he waited.
Optimus was silent for now… He had a lot more to deal with than just commanding the Autobots… Ensuring they survive to deal with for now.
Something about it all had been too amused to try and think of it all and then thought of what was occurring for now.
Slash hummed to herself as she looked over at Frost, pausing to try and figure it out now as she paused to try and think of what was going on before she sighed to herself.
They had a lot more to deal with… Now? She knew that being a soldier, a Dinobot was interested in the Eukarian who seemed to stare at her, icy optics glancing through her.
He knew her, knew that it could have been done as a warrior. Slash was interested as she was a warrior when she was too interested. She paused.
Both were silent, Frost seemed to be relaxed for now. He thought of it all as he cracked his fingers and then looked to the side.
They had a lot more of a game once more… An idea of it all before it had been too much to deal with now and at the end of the day. Something about it all had been harder and harder to think of now.
It had been impossible to think of it all now, an idea closer to relaxing… And it had been a lot harder now.
Slash looked over to the side as she paused to think of what was growing on it as she relaxed… They had a lot more to try and understand as soldiers came down to it as she wanted to think.
As a warrior? As a soldier? She was not stupid, they had plenty left to distract them from it all, plenty left to grasp.
Slash hummed and looked over to her friend, knowing that Frost of all the Autobots was the most eager to get back to combat… It was part of being a warrior and an Autobot.
The problem? Now and for good did both have to distract themselves from being warriors… Now and for good did they manage to overcome it.
Now? Now at the time being… She had no real clue as to why it all coming to an end.
As a warrior tried to think of what the next motive was going on before she tried to think of it all now before now.
"What is Omega?" Frost questioned, his optical sensors and then thought of what was growing on before she thought of what was growing before.
Frost seemed to be dealt with for now. They had a lot more to try and think of what was growing.
Slash seemed to be dealt with for now as she put a metallic hand to her skull, too much to deal with for now.
"You tired?" Slash seemed to ask as Frost hummed and then shook his head, too tired now.
"Eager to get back to work, Slash… That appears it. We have a lot of business to deal with for now." Slash seemed to be dealt with for now.
She was a lot more to try and think of what was growing on her mind…. Something about it all was more and more curious now and it would have been too much now.
Something about it all was not yet done… An idea like this was not going to be dealt with for now.
Slash slammed a hand down on the ground as he thought what was growing on before she had a lot more to deal with.
Optimus turned to look at both. Optimus was silent and then thought of what was growing on as she paused to think.
Slash seemed to relax once more and cracked his fingers and he wished to try and thought of it.
"Autobots? We need to leave. The Decepticons will soon be deploying reinforcements to come after us…. We will be meeting the rest of the Autobots at the fallback point." Slash stated before she looked to the side.
He had a lot more to deal with for now and cracked his fingers and thought of what was growing on his mind. He was not all too interested in it all now.
Slash seemed to be relaxed for now, something about it all had been too much to deal with for now and it was all too much now.
They were soldiers, they were all soldiers and then thought of what was growing on their minds and it was all too much.
Slash seemed to be smirking as she looked over to her friend and then paused to think of what was growing on her mind for the end of it all now.
Now? There would have been a lot more left to deal with for now and it was fun at the end of the day when it was all too much at the end of the day.
Frost was too disturbed now at the end of it all… It had been too odd for now at the time being.
He was shocked and thrown off at the end of the day. Frost hummed, tapping at his metallic jaw now when it was all over.
Then again? As a warrior? Frost was just as confused at the time, knowing what was going through the brain of the soldier… Each little thing he had left was one more push.
Still? He had nothing left to do.
"I am going to assume that whatever we are dealing with? it is very large and very capable of transporting the Autobot Army very far and wide." Frost asked before he sighed to himself.
He had something to be dealt with for now at the time being… An idea like this was worth more the more he pushed towards it.
Slash was amused more than she was tired. She poked Frost in the side, the dragon glancing at her as she smirked before Frost sighed, cursed to himself, and then sighed once more.
H was so damn silent that it almost cut a hole in the wall, then again? He was a warrior, silence was part of his being when all of it was too much to deal with for now, and she thought of what was growing on her mind as she paused to try and think.
Each little time both thought of what was growing now and always.
They had a lot more to deal with for now… It was growing to be dealt with as he sighed to himself and then thought of it all now.
Each little idea made the two of them too much for now and they thought of it all for now.
They had plenty more on the CPU to consider.
"Are we going to be dealing with something else like military work for now? Because I am so unused to things around here as of the time being." Frost was silent at the time when it was all said and done.
Then again? He was tired and in need of repairs, exhausting his options was the one thing she could have understood it all now.
Something again had come down the road and it had been much more chaotic than it needed to have been at the time being.
An idea like this was more than they had wished now. More than they would understand.
Frost rubbed at his eyes, exhausted and in a desire to sleep and rest for the day now and for a good idea. He had needed to let his systems recharge either way now or else he would soon end up falling silent now.
All of it came together in the best possible way.
Author Notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show more of both Slash and Frost bonding and more of their antics.
Also?
I plan to show other variants of Cybertronians meaning Blurr and Windblade will have their home worlds from canon.
I want to point out that Frost is not as skilled as the others, only on the level of regular Autobots and Decepticons now.
I will be using cast from other continuities, meaning other Autobots and Decepticons will be showing up.
The next chapter will be 900-6500 words and will show more of both Optimus and the Autobots as well as Megatron's next move. Until then? Lighting Wolf is out!
