Lobo woke up to find himself in a peculiar place he was at yesterday with the moon hanging low in the sky, casting a pale glow over everything.
"Uh what the hell, why am I back here again. Is this my mindscape? I wonder where the dragon and woman are at." Lobo said.
He looked around but couldn't see where those two went. As he scanned his surroundings he heard something coming from the sky, as he looked up a sudden movement caught his eye and he turned to see a giant red dragon materializing right in front of him.
Lobo let out a shriek, stumbling back in shock as the massive creature head loomed over him. But to his surprise, the dragon began to emit a soft, feminine giggle as its form started to glow, the scales receding and shrinking until there stood a woman in place of the beast.
She is a mature voluptuous woman, red-haired with bright golden eyes. She is dressed in a Wine Red Gothic Lace Trim Top with a Corset Belt and a Handkerchief Hem Skirt.
Lobo's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the sight of the woman before him.
"Who... who are you?" Lobo stammered, struggling to find his voice as he stared up at her in awe.
The woman smiled as she looked down at him. "Greetings Lobo, it's great to finally meet face to face. Who am I? Well, I am Ophis' older sister." The woman said.
Lobo couldn't believe his eyes, and he found himself dropping to his knees, bowing his head in respect. But the woman only laughed, a light and carefree sound that filled the air. "Oh, get up, Lobo," she said, her voice filled with amusement.
"There's no need for all that. As for my name, I go by many names: Apocalypse Dragon, True Dragon, Dragon of Dragons (DD), Dragon of Dreams, The Glorious Red God of Dreams, but you can call me Great Red." She said
Lobo hesitated, uncertain, but he slowly rose to his feet, still feeling a mix of disbelief and wonder at the sight before him. "Why are you here, Great Red?" he finally managed to ask.
Great Red's smile softened, and she reached out and grasped his hand softly.
"I'm here because I need your help. I know Ophis has chosen you as her champion to come slay me. She believes that you'll have the power to kill me once and for all. But I wish for you to help me fix the rift between me and Ophis. I hope that she can see that I only want what is the best for us." She said as Lobo listened to her.
Lobo's eyes widened in surprise at her words. He hadn't expected this at all, here is the woman that he was chosen to slay. But here she is asking him to help her rectify her relationship with her sister Ophis.
Lobo ponders on what to do. On one hand Ophis had wanted him to slay her sister for something she wanted. While on the other Great Red is asking him to help her with rekindle their sisterly bond.
He knows that he has the choice to accept or decline Great Red offer and only one is the best out of all answers. So Lobo looked into her eyes and then went into a knight kneeling pose.
"I will do my best in helping you with fixing your relationship with your sister. I will grow stronger and do everything in my strength to see this through." Lobo said as Great Red eyes widened as she was taken back at Lobo declaration.
Her smile returns as she turns around as she looks up at the star filled night sky in contentment. Now she has the chance to finally be a family with Ophis once again.
She turns back to Lobo as her affection for him has risen higher as he declared that he will do everything in his power to help her. Lobo rises back up and she walks up to him and gives him a tender hug.
Lobo was taken back as Great Red hugged him. After a moment Great Red released the hug as she stared up at him.
"Thank you Lobo, this means a lot to me. I'm glad Ophis has chosen you. Maybe you are the one that will fix the broken rift between two sisters." She said
Lobo suddenly remembered the other two guests in his mindscape. "Wait what happens to the other two that are here with us." Lobo asked as Great Red tilted her head.
"Ah I put a barrier to make our talk private so my sister won't notice that I came to talk to you. As for the other two, I was surprised that you have two very powerful beings Inside you. My sister really wanted me gone." She said a little crestfallen but she smiled once more.
"Since my sister has given you powers, I suppose I can give you some of my power and tools to help you with your goal." She said as she put her hand on his chest.
All of sudden Lobo felt his body change to accommodate the power he is bestowed by Great Red. After a few seconds his body finally accepted the changes and his body felt better and stronger.
Then Great Red summoned a black grimoire with a red five-leaf clover on the front. She then handed the grimoire to Lobo as he took the grimoire from her.
"I entrust this grimoire to you Lobo. With this it should help you on your journey as I put many great abilities and techniques in this grimoire. Now I must leave before Ophis gets suspicious of my absence." She said as gave him a kiss on his snout.
Lobo eyes widened as she giggled at his reaction as her body began to glow.
"Oh before I leave I wish you the best of luck Lobo as there are many people that will try to snuff your life. But with my blessing you will be very hard to kill. Take care Lobo." She said as she dissipated.
Lobo stood there as his brain was going into overdrive as he went through so many emotions. He shook his head as he calmed down. Then he closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

When he opened his eyes he noticed that he was back in the room that Stolas had given him. Lobo slowly opened his eyes, blinking in the dim morning light that filtered through the curtains.
"Was that just a dream or was it all real." Lobo said as he hold head trying to make sense of the situation then all of a sudden a book hit his face.
He groans in pain as the book was really heavy and it hurts like hell. Then he looks at the book. It was the grimoire that Great Red had given to him. He opened the grimoire and see writing that he can't understand
"So it wasn't a dream after all huh. Maybe I should ask Stolas for help with this grimoire." Lobo said
He stretched his limbs, his muscles protesting the movement after a night of restless sleep. He groaned and rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the fog of sleep that clung to him.
As he lay there, trying to gather his thoughts, he heard a faint knock at his bedroom door. Lobo sat up, wondering who could be visiting him so early in the morning. He quickly hid the grimoire under his pillow.
He swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood, still feeling a bit groggy. He made his way to the door and opened it, revealing a tall, slender figure with a serpentine lower half wearing a maid uniform.
"Good morning," the creature said, her voice soft and melodic. "My name is Miia. I was told to bring you to master Stolas when you woke up."
Lobo blinked in surprise, taking in the sight of the half-snake, half-human creature in front of him.
He couldn't help but feel a mix of fascination and unease as he looked into her large, golden eyes.
"Stolas wanted to see me" Lobo asked, his mind still fuzzy from sleep.
"Yes Master Stolas asked me to get you," Miia answered. "I am here to escort you to him."
Lobo nodded slowly, trying to process the information. He glanced at the clothes that Miia held in her long, slender arms. They were a simple tunic and trousers, made of a soft, dark fabric. Lobo suddenly realized that he was standing there in nothing but his pants that he had on yesterday, and flushed with embarrassment.
"I, uh, I guess I should get dressed then," Lobo muttered, feeling awkward under Miia's piercing gaze.
Miia smiled and nodded as she stepped into the room, laying the clothes on the bed. She turned to face Lobo and said, "I will wait outside to give you some privacy. Please be quick."
Lobo nodded gratefully, watching as Miia gracefully slithered out of the room, closing the door behind her. He quickly dressed in the clothes she had brought, which fit him surprisingly well.
He took the grimoire from underneath his pillow wondering how he could put this grimoire away. Then he felt something on his waist and a satchel appeared. Then his grimoire flew from his hand and into the satchel.
"Huh that was convenient." Lobo said, puzzled then shook his head.
Once he was dressed, Lobo took a deep breath and stepped out of his room, finding Miia waiting for him just outside the door. She smiled as she saw him, her sharp teeth glinting in the faint light.
"Ready to go?" she asked.
Lobo nodded, feeling a mix of nerves and curiosity about Stolas and what he could want from him. He followed Miia as she led the way through the halls of the Goetia Manor.
As they made their way through the manor, Lobo couldn't help but notice the diverse array of beings that passed them by. He noticed various demons and some taller ones he couldn't recognize. Then demihumans like Miia as they either have some animal traits like ears and tails or half human and half animal chimera. Then finally anthropomorphic ones as they were wearing either maid or butler uniforms.
Finally, they reached a grand door at the end of a long, ornately decorated hallway. Miia paused for a moment before knocking, and they could hear Stolas from within, telling them to enter.
With a quick, nervous breath, Miia pushed open the door and motioned for Lobo to follow her inside. As he stepped through the threshold, he found himself face to face with Stolas, who was sitting behind his desk.
"Ah, Lobo," Stolas greeted him with a nod. "Thank you for bringing him Miia. You are dismissed." Stolas said as Miia bow then slithered out the room and gently closed the door.
"Lobo my boy, sit down and tell me what's bothering you. I can sense that something is bothering you. You can trust me, I won't judge you," Stolas said, as Lobo eyes widened.
Lobo hesitated for a moment, so he decided to tell Stolas the edited version of his story.
"The eldest one visited me last night. She had some... interesting things to say," Lobo admitted, carefully choosing his words.
Stolas's expression went into shock at the mention of Great Red. "What did she tell you?" Stolas asked.
Lobo recounted the conversation he had with Great Red "She visited my mindscape last night and wanted to have a word with me. I can't go into details as it is a sensitive matter to her but she tasked me with a goal. And she has provided me with more power and tools to help her with her goal." Lobo said.
Stolas was bewildered as both sisters decided to bestow Lobo with two different goals. He couldn't help but chuckle at Lobo's misfortune as he now has to work harder to achieve his goal.
"Well my boy it seems that your life just got really difficult, but don't worry I will help you the best I can with your journey." Stolas said
Lobo nodded his head then remembered the grimoire she gave him and he pulled it out.
"Ah one thing I need help with is that can you help me understand this language." Lobo said
He handed Stolas the grimoire but as soon Stolas held it he was violently shocked and the book flew back to Lobo.
"I'm sorry Stolas I didn't know that it would do that." Lobo said as Stolas waved him off showing no hard feelings.
"Lobo, it's fine. So I assume that she has given you a grimoire of your own to help you. Well every grimoire are different as some are easier to understand than others. But don't worry you will understand it when the time comes." Stolas said as Lobo put the grimoire back into his satchel.
Before Lobo can say anything his stomach groans very loudly as he blushes in embarrassment.
"Well it seems someone is very hungry," Then he checked the time and it was 7:30 am. "Well come along Lobo it seems breakfast is almost ready, we should head there and get something to eat." Stolas said.
Stolas got up and went to the door and beckoned Lobo to follow him to the dining room. As they left the study and headed to the kitchen for breakfast to start the day.
When they got to the dining room he spotted Octavia and Stella sitting there eating breakfast. Octavia waved at them and Stella ignored his presence getting back into her book.
As Stolas sat next to his wife and Lobo took a seat next to Octavia who gave a small smile and went back to her breakfast. A butler came by and handed Lobo a plate and glass of orange juice.
As they ate, Stolas' expression suddenly turned serious as he glanced at his phone. He muttered something under his breath and set his phone down on the table, his brow furrowed in concentration.
"I'm afraid I have to step away for a moment, my dear," he said to Stella. "There's an urgent matter that requires my attention. Octavia, would you mind showing Lobo around a bit? I don't want him to get restless while we're occupied."
"Of course, Father," Octavia replied with a smile. She looked down at Lobo, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Come on, Lobo. I'll give you the grand tour of the manor."
After Stolas departed, Octavia led Lobo through the opulent halls of the family home. She first took him to the family library, which was filled with shelves of ancient tomes, leather-bound books, and rare manuscripts.
"Wow," Lobo breathed, running his fingers lightly over the spines of the books. "This is amazing."
Octavia smiled, pleased to see him so impressed. "It's been in our family for generations," she said. "Some of these books are so old that they're practically falling apart, but they hold so much history and wisdom."
She led Lobo over to a glass display case, inside of which were a collection of delicate, intricately bound books, each one more beautiful than the last.
"These are some of the rarest books we own," Octavia explained. "Some are first editions, others are one-of-a-kind. My ancestors were known for their love of literature and their dedication to preserving the written word."
As they continued through the halls, Octavia pointed out various family heirlooms and artifacts, each one more impressive than the last. There were stunning paintings, ancient weapons, and valuable jewelry, all carefully preserved and proudly displayed.
Octavia led him to the storage collection, a room filled with valuable artifacts and treasures gathered from all over the world. The room was dimly lit, with spotlights highlighting various items throughout the space. Lobo's tail wagged in awe as he took in the sight of gleaming jewels, intricately carved figurines, and ornate works of art displayed in glass cases.
"This is where my father stores valuable artifacts and treasures gathered from Hell and Earth and other Pantheons, Lobo," Octavia said, her voice hushed with reverence.
"Each of these items has a story to tell, a history that spans centuries and continents. Some were acquired through trade, others were found in forgotten tombs or hidden ruins. They are the product of human ingenuity and craftsmanship, and they hold incredible value, both monetarily and culturally."
Lobo's eyes shimmered with curiosity as he took in the vast array of treasures before him. He had never seen anything like this before. Octavia guided him through the room, pointing out various pieces and sharing their stories.
"Here we have a set of ancient Greek pottery, dating back to the 5th century BCE," Octavia said, gesturing to a display of beautifully painted vases. "And over there, you'll find a collection of Chinese jade carvings, each one more intricate than the last. And don't even get me started on the jewelry..."
As Octavia continued to regale Lobo with tales of the collection, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer volume of history and culture contained within these walls. Each item seemed to hold a story of its own.
At one point, Octavia stopped in front of a particularly striking display of jewelry, each piece adorned with glittering gemstones and intricate metalwork. "These are some of my personal favorites," she said, a wistful smile playing on her lips. "They come from all corners of Hell and Earth, each one a testament to the skill and artistry of the people who created them."
Lobo gazed at the jewelry, mesmerized by the dazzling display of color and craftsmanship. He could feel the energy of the stones and metals, each piece telling a story of beauty and creativity.
Finally, they ended their tour in the family garden, a serene paradise filled with exotic vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and the soothing sound of a trickling fountain. Lobo felt a sense of calmness wash over him as he took in the tranquil beauty of the garden.
It reminds him of his mother where she tended to her garden in the backyard. He sighs as those memories of his mother caused him grief but he didn't want to ruin the moment.
As they sat on a bench, Octavia turned to Lobo.
"I was wondering what was your old life like you know came before you here Lobo?" Octavia asked as Lobo's eyes flashed in pain "You don't have to answer if it was painful to talk about."
Lobo sighs but shakes his head as he has been keeping the past a secret but has to let it go. He has a new life now so might as well embrace his past.
"No it's alright, I don't talk about my childhood much," he began. "But I guess it's about time I let it all out." He took a deep breath and began to recount the memories that had haunted him for years.
"I grew up in a city in the U.S with my mom, dad, and little sister. My mom was a miko from Japan and dad was in the army that was stationed in japan. He met my mother at a pub and they hit it off but dad had to return to the states and mom asked if she could go with him and they allowed her to go. Then I was born and then came along my sister. We didn't have much, but we were happy. My parents worked hard to provide for us, and life was simple and carefree."
"But that all changed when tragedy struck." Lobo's voice trembled as he recalled the day his parents and sister were taken from him.
"I was returning home from baseball practice when I went inside and I noticed bloody footprints coming from the dining room. I went into the dining room and noticed my family sitting in the chairs lifelessly riddled with stab marks and a hole in their head."
He was just a teenager at the time, and the devastation of losing his entire family left him numb. Octavia felt saddened by this tale and she went to comfort him.
"I didn't have any other family to turn to, so I lived by myself after that," he continued. "My mom's friend, a guy named Satoru would check up on me every once in a while, but I was pretty much on my own."
"Then one day I got a call from Satoru that he had found the person that killed my family. His name was Toji and he was hired to kill my father because he knew something about a group of shady people. He told me he was able to avenge my family but was needed back in Japan. So he left me an apartment that was paid for until I turned 18 and left me money to hold me out." He relaxes as he continued his story
"I got into trouble a lot, and by the time I was a teenager, I was a real delinquent." Lobo's eyes clouded with regret as he remembered the reckless choices he had made in his youth. But he refused to let those dark times define him now.
"After high school, I managed to turn my life around, landing a job as a white-collar worker and slowly working my way up the corporate ladder. Eventually, I became a manager for a successful company, and for a while, things were looking up. But then, just yesterday, everything changed once again."
Lobo's expression grew solemn as he recounted the events that had gotten him killed and sent here.
"I had been walking to work when I witnessed a young boy darting into the street to retrieve a toy, directly into the path of an oncoming truck. Without hesitation, I sprang into action, tossing the child out of harm's way and into his mother just in the nick of time. But as fate would have it, I ended up taking the brunt of the impact myself."
Lobo finished his story. "I didn't do it for recognition or glory," he said quietly. "I did it because I knew what it felt like to lose everything. And in that fleeting moment, I was able to save someone else from suffering the same fate."
Despite the heavy toll it had taken on him, Lobo didn't regret his actions for a second. They sat there in silence before Octavia got up.
"Come on, let's go and see if I can ask my dad if I can go take you shopping for new clothes." She said to lighten up the mood.
Lobo got up and walked with her to Stolas' study. As they got to the door Octavia knocked and waited for her dad to let them in. As Stolas opened the door he saw his daughter and Lobo standing there and let in.
"Ah I see you have finished giving him a tour of our home, my little starlight." he said as he sat down and Lobo chuckled while Octavia sputtered in embarrassment.
"Dad, don't call me that. I'm not a little girl anymore." She said as she blushed when Lobo laughed at her given nickname.
"OK sweetheart now is there anything else you need." He said
"I was wondering if I could...take Lobo to Pentagram city with me. You know, to get some new clothes." Octavia asked
"The city, you say?" Stolas mused, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "You do realize how dangerous it is if I let you out on your own, my dear. I can't have you roaming around without any protection."
"However," he continued, his smile turning into a sly grin, "I appreciate your trying to help Lobo. I will permit it, under one condition: you must be accompanied by a guard. Someone to ensure your safety while you and Lobo go about your business."
"Thank you, Dad! I promise we'll be careful," she said
Stolas chuckled and waved her off dismissively. "Yes, yes, my dear. Just be back before dinner. And remember, safety first both of you." He said as Octavia and Lobo nodded their heads.
As they made their way to the front entrance of the grand estate, Octavia couldn't help but marvel at the sight of the sleek, black limousine waiting for them. The chauffeur stood at attention, his uniform crisp and neat, and beside him stood a tall, burly orge like demon next him.
"Good morning, Miss Octavia," the chauffeur greeted her with a polite bow. "Your father has informed us of your plans. We are ready to accompany you and Lobo to the city whenever you're ready."
With a nod to the guard and a warm smile to the chauffeur, she climbed into the back of the limousine, Lobo by her side. The guard and chauffeur followed suit, and soon they were off.
After the limo had pulled out of the driveway and drove past the gate of the estate, Octavia couldn't help but sigh as she leaned into her elbow and peered out the backseat window. As they got further from the manor they passed a bush and didn't notice a demon sitting inside it.
"A little birdie left the nest, they are heading to the city in a limousine with little protection. It seems like a good payday today boys." The figure said
As the limousine was driving the highway they were being followed by three suvs from behind. The guard noticed and told the chauffeur to drive a little faster as he pulled out a gun. He opened the window to the back where Octavia and Lobo sat in the rear.
"Princess, we are going to return to the manor. It seems we are being followed-" he said before the three suvs came up beside them and opened fire on them. And one of the suvs pulled in front of them.
"What the fuck is going-" those were the last words the guard would ever say before a glowing white blade suddenly pierced through the window of the limousine and imbedded itself directly into his skull.
Screaming in horror, all Octavia could do was fall back into Lobo and watch as the orge's black blood oozed down his face and out of the corner of his mouth while his brain was being cooked from the inside out by the scorching hot metal.
Mere moments after the sudden death of their guard the driver began driving erratically before he too suffered the same fate as the guard. A spear of white hot metal embedded itself into its head.
The limousine drove into the barrier and smashed into it and fell to the street below. As they were falling with the front facing the concrete Lobo shield Octavia body with his to soften her from the fall.
As the limousine crashed right up the two groaned in pain from the crash as Lobo looked at Octavia to see if she had any injuries.
"Are you alright Octavia. Are you hurt? Lobo asked Octavia as she got off him and pulled him up.
"I'm fine Lobo thank you. Now we must find a way to get out of here and figure out where we are and call my dad." She said
"Alright I'll kick the door down and you'll follow behind me." Lobo said
Octavia nods and Lobo begins kicking the door and after a couple attempts he manages to get it to open. As Lobo and Octavia got out of the limousine it looked like they were in a town that was in construction. There were half built buildings still in construction and nobody in sight.
Then Lobo could hear cars coming towards their direction and saw the three suvs creeping on them.
"Come Octavia we must get away." Lobo said
He grabbed Octavia by the hand and they ran to get somewhere safe as the Suvs were gaining up on them. Lobo saw an alleyway.
"Octavia hide in the alleyway and see if you could get a signal and call your dad. I'll see if I can hold them off for a minute and buy you some time." Lobo said.
"Are you sure Lobo there are too many unknowns, you don't know what they'll do." Octavia said.
"Don't worry now, run." Lobo said as Octavia ran into the alleyways to see if she could get a signal.
As she ran Lobo faced the unexpected threat, the SUVs disgorged a group of 21 formidable-looking individuals of different races, all dressed in black. A human like figure walk up to him
"Alright mutt," the leader remarked, a predatory glint in his eyes. "Hand over the girl, and we might let you live."
Lobo chuckled, a low, menacing sound. "You think I'd hand over anyone just 'cause you asked nicely?" He said
"You want to do it the hard way alrighty then. Boys get him." The leader signaled to his underlings, who closed in on Lobo with a synchronized menace.
But Lobo was not deterred from this as he fought groups of thugs when he was delinquent.
While Lobo was occupied with the demons, the leader stealthily made his way toward Octavia.
A demon lunged towards him, Lobo effortlessly grabbed him by the head and smashed his face into the pavement. Lobo raised his foot and stomp it head and it splattered due to the force. The others began to attack him all at once.
Lobo's sharp reflexes allowed him to dodge most of their blows, but he soon found himself overwhelmed by their sheer numbers. Enraged, he fought back, using every weapon he had at his disposal - his fists, his feet, and even the nearby trash cans.
The demons, however, were well-trained and their attacks were coordinated. Lobo began to struggle under their relentless assault. He managed to take out a few more, but the others were closing in on him, their weapons drawing blood from his skin.
As he was about to take down another demon Lobo felt a sharp pain in his side. He looked down to see a dagger of white metal embedded in his flesh. He grunt in pain but refused to let it slow him down. However, as he turned to face his attacker, he felt a searing pain on his other side as another demon's blade found its mark.
Despite his injuries, Lobo fought on, his determination and strength keeping him going. But then, he felt a sharp sting on his neck.
The world seemed to slow down as he realized that he had been stabbed in the jugular. His vision blurred and he could taste his own blood in his mouth.
His body was riddled with wounds and his strength was fading fast. The demons, sensing victory, closed in on him, their blades at the ready.
As Lobo was about to attack he felt a sharp pain in his throat. He instinctively reached up to touch it and saw blood on his paws, only to realize that his throat had been slit. He stumbled back, his vision fading, and collapsed to the ground, surrounded by his enemies.
"Alrights boys, let's get back to boss and get that bitch." One of the demons said as they followed their boss.

Darting through the alleyways between the buildings, hoping that the narrow walkways would at the very least slow down the pursuing assassin. Before long, the poor Goetia princess ran straight into a wire fence that stretched from wall to wall.
Cursing her luck, but seeing no other options, she made a jump for it and started climbing the fence as fast as she could. Once she reached the top, she had no choice but to grab the barbed wire-lined top and vaulted over the fence. Her hands began to bleed from the cuts on the barbed wire.
She was halfway over when her shawl got caught in the wire. Seeing that it was stuck fast, she simply ditched the scarf, unwrapping it from her person with her now bloodied hands, falling to the ground in the process.
Staggering back to her feet and breaking into a run once more, Octavia once again turned her head to see how far ahead she managed to get, however it turns out that jumping the fence wasn't as much of a chore to the devil as it was for her. With one tremendous leap, he simply soared over the fence without any problems, much to Octavia's chagrin.
"Oh, come on!" she exclaimed, once again picking up the pace.
She didn't know how long she had been running for, or for how much longer she needed to in order to escape, but it soon became apparent to the young Goetia Princess that she was getting exhausted pretty fast, a lot quicker than the Devil seemed to be.
If she didn't find a way out of this soon, she was either gonna collapse or die the moment the angel was within reach. Alas, neither luck nor fate was on her side at that moment.
After turning around one final corner, Octavia gasped in horror as she eventually found herself almost running into a solid brick wall!
Turning around, she hoped that she had enough time to double back before the Devil managed to catch up, however, the moment she looked back, he was already rounding the corner and cutting off her only means of escaping the alley.
Her back literally up against the wall, once again trying desperately to find a way out of her predicament. However, this time, there was none.
She could try the nearby fire escape, however, the ladder was already up and the amount of time needed to bring it down would take too long, same with the manhole cover just a meter away. Octavia just had to face the facts… she was going to die!
She just couldn't believe it. Octavia Goetia, a Princess of Hell, was going to die at the hands of a Devil like a rat in the gutter! How humiliating is that!? Worse still, the damn bastard felt the need to taunt her by scratching the blade of its spear against the wall, causing a jarring screech to ring in Octavia's ears as it drew closer and closer.
Sliding down the wall until she was on the ground, all Octavia could do now was cry tears of despair and close her eyes, hoping that her inevitable demise would be quick.
"Well well it seems a little birdie is far away from her nest right now. You'll make a fine toy for the highest bidder when we sell you." The devil said
Then the Devil and Octavia heard footsteps and Octavia hoped it was Lobo but her heart shattered. It wasn't Lobo but the other demons and devils.
"Hey boss, we managed to kill the mutt. It went out like a pathetic pup like it is." One of the demons said as the Lead Devil laughed.
"It seems like nobody will come save you Princess. Maybe I should test out the merchandise before selling her off to the others. Alright boys, wait your turn while I get first dibs." The Devil said
Octavia shuts her eyes as she cries. Is this her fate? Is she really going to be defiled by these monsters? As the Devil came closer, almost reaching her.
"Barrier" Somebody shouted as Octavia opened her eyes as a yellow bubble-like barrier surrounded her.
The Devil hissed at being denied his prize as he and his minions turned around. The demons gasp as a bloody Lobo stands there.
The lead Devil stepped forward, anger twisting his features. "How are you still alive you fucking mutt?" he hissed, his voice dripping with contempt. "It doesn't matter, we will kill you for good."
With a flick of his wrist, the Devil gave the signal for his minions to attack. The demons let out a bloodcurdling roar and charged towards Lobo, their weapons aimed at Lobo.
But as they got closer, something strange happened. Lobo's pupils turned a dark shade of red, and he suddenly found himself in a state of heightened awareness. It was as if he could see everything around him in slow motion, and he could anticipate the demons' every move.
At that moment, Lobo saw 10 seconds in the future. He saw all of the demons' attack patterns, and he knew exactly how to counter them. And just as suddenly as it had come, his vision returned to normal.
With a smirk, Lobo grimoire opened and two silver sickles appeared into each of his hands. With a swift movement, he sliced through the first wave of demons, their bodies falling to the ground like broken dolls. He moved with a fluidity and grace that was almost hypnotic.
The remaining demons, realizing that they were no match for Lobo, attempted to retreat. But Lobo was not one to let his enemies escape; he pursued them through the alleyways, his sickles gleaming as he cut them down without mercy.
When the last demon had fallen, Lobo stood tall and victorious amidst the carnage. His chest heaved with exertion, and sweat dripped down his forehead, but he was exhilarated by the rush of adrenaline that coursed through his veins.
Then the devil rushed forward with a snarl, swinging its own weapon in a deadly arc.
Lobo dodged the attack with ease, his future sight allowing him to move with incredible speed and agility. As the devil's sword swung past him, Lobo quickly followed up with a slice of his own, but the devil was just as skilled and managed to block the blow.
The two opponents circled each other, their swords clashing as they fought for control. But the devil was not just relying on its physical prowess, it soon began to summon magic, hurling a fireball at Lobo.
Thinking quickly, Lobo's grimoire appeared next to him, its ancient pages fluttering in the wind. A word appeared before Lobo, and without hesitation, he spoke it aloud.
"Repulse!"
Suddenly, a shimmering shield appeared in front of Lobo, just in time to intercept the fireball. The devil was taken aback as its attack bounced off the shield and returned to it, causing it to stumble backward in surprise.
As the devil was distracted, Lobo took the opportunity to launch a sneak attack. Moving with a grace and precision that was almost inhuman, Lobo sliced through the devil's neck in one swift motion.
The devil's body fell to the ground with a thud, its head rolling off to the side. Lobo stood, panting with exertion, his sword still raised in a defensive stance.
He took a moment to catch his breath and survey the battlefield. The alleyways now littered with the bodies of the devil's minions, their black blood staining the pavement and walls.
After making sure there were no more enemies lurking in the shadows, Lobo grimoire appeared and the sickles went back into the pages. The grimoire closed itself and went back into its placeholder.
As Lobo approached Octavia he dismissed the barrier and she stood up and ran up to Lobo and hugged him. She starts crying as he saves her from a nightmare. Lobo hugged her back.
"It's okay Octavia. Everything is going to be alright just see if you can call your dad ok." He said as she nodded and released the hugs.
She gets her phone out and sees she has a signal bar. She quickly calls her dad and waits until he picks up the phone.
"Yes sweetheart is every-" then Octavia interrupted him "Dad we were attacked. Please come get us Lobo is hurt." she said
"I'll be right there dear don't move." He said as the line went dead.
"My dad is coming. Lobo hang in there, we will get you help." She said
"That Great. Just … let me take … a nap." He said before his fatigue kicked and fell to his back exhausted.
Octavia quickly ran to his side and wiped the blood from his face and she thanked her savior for saving her.
Stolas exit from the portal his attention was immediately drawn to Octavia kneeling next to Lobo who is riddled with stab marks and cuts, surrounded by a pool of blood.
His heart clenched in fear as he rushed over to the figure. "Octavia!" he called out to his daughter, his voice trembling with worry. As he got closer, he saw her face filled with fear.
She looked up at him, her face pale with shock. "Father," she said, her voice trembling.
Stolas' eyes widened in shock as he saw the condition of his daughter hand riddled with cuts.
He knelt down beside Octavia and placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Are you hurt?" he asked, his voice strained with concern.
Octavia shook her head, her eyes filled with tears. "No, I'm fine. It's Lobo, he's injured," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Stolas stood up and looked around, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. He saw his guards approaching from the portal and quickly gave them orders to check the surrounding areas and for one to alert the doctor. They nodded and hurried off, leaving Stolas alone with Octavia and Lobo.
He turned back to his daughter, his heart filled with worry for the young man.
"We need to get him medical treatment for his injuries," he said, looking down at Lobo's unconscious form.
Octavia nodded, her eyes never leaving Lobo. "Yes, let's take him to the family doctor," she said, her voice filled with concern.
Stolas gently lifted Lobo's body, his arms wrapped around the wounded wolf as he carried him towards the portal. Octavia followed close behind, her eyes never leaving her injured friend.
They stepped through the portal and emerged in the medical wing of the family manor, where the family doctor resided. The doctor was already waiting for them, having been alerted by Stolas' guards.
He told Stolas to place him on a stretcher as they quickly assessed Lobo's injuries and began treating him, as they took him to the ICU.
Octavia was also taken for the injury on her hands. They removed her bloody clothes and put on the hospital gown. The doctor began cleaning it up wounds and began treating it. As they finish treating her wounds they wrap her hands in a cast so it can heal.
As she was diminished her father and her mother who just got there hugged her.
"Oh my little girl I am so glad you are alright don't ever scare me like that again." Stella said.
"I'm fine mom. I'm a little shaken but I'll be alright." Octavia said.
"Can you tell us what happened to you and Lobo, my little starlight?" Stolas asked.
Octavia took a deep breath and began recounting the events that had taken place since her and Lobo departure.
"Well, it all started when we were on our way to the city. We were driving down the highway when suddenly, we were ambushed by the devil and his demons."
Stolas leaned forward, intrigued. "The devil and his demons? What happened next?"
Octavia let out a sigh. "Our guard didn't stand a chance. He was killed instantly, and the driver lost control of the car. We crashed through the barrier and plummeted onto the streets below."
"As we tried to escape the wreckage, the devil was hot on our heels. He was determined to get his hands on me. Lobo told me to run, and he stayed behind to fight the devil and his minions."
Octavia's voice quivered with emotion as she recalled the terrifying experience. "I ran as fast as I could, but the devil was relentless. I ended up in a dead end alley, with nowhere to go. That's when he caught up to me."
Stolas and Stella grip tight on their hug as Octavia describes the terrifying encounter with the devil. "He told me he was going to sell me off as a toy to a high bidder. I was terrified. Then he said was going to use me." Octavia cried as tears ran down her face.
Stolas and Stella rubbed her back to comfort her as she was nearly assaulted. Mad that a lowly devil would do that to their daughter.
Octavia took a moment to compose herself before continuing, "But then, out of nowhere, Lobo appeared and cast a protective barrier around me. He fought off the devil and his minions, using his powerful magic."
"Lobo saved me. He defeated the devil and his demons, and I'm forever grateful of him." Octavia said.
As they stood there in silence as Stolas and Stella were glad that Lobo saved their daughter from a horrible fate. Then the door to the ICU slammed open and one of the nurses came out. Then she called out to Stolas.
"Master Stolas, come you need to see this is very important." The nurse said as Stolas went to the room as Octavia and Stella followed behind.
As they went into the doctor and nurse stood back in shock. As the family went to Lobo they gasped in shock. The wounds on his body were healing on their own as smoke was emitted from it and was slowly stitching themselves back. They also saw that the muscles in Lobo's neck were also healing as the wound was closing.
Stolas told the doctor and nurses to check up on him and let them know when he woke up. The head doctor nods and Stolas and Stella leave but Octavia stays behind.
She stared at Lobo and rubbed his cheek affectionately as she leaned in and kissed his cheek.
"Thank you Lobo for saving me. I can never pay you back for what you did for me but I'm glad you'll be ok." She said
Then she left the room and went back to her parents. The only sound that was coming from the room was the steady beeping on the machine as Lobo healed his wounds.
