First Serious Battle for Highschoolers Engage!
The Literature Club members are staring up angrily and strongly at their opponents who have set up their battle in the Combat Fighting Gym facility, the ones who kidnap Madoka for this fight. The building itself is a two-story place with a large dumbbell and lightning bolt sign at the top.
"Before we start, there's one thing we wanna know. Where is Madoka Kuki, the girl with the coolest name in the world?" Jurai demanded, while being a little dramatic about Madoka's name.
"Hey, don't go chuni on us now." Tomoyo said.
"There's no need to worry about her, her body is still in one piece and not a single scratch can be found as well." Blueno informed.
"Oh, well… That's nice to know." Jurai surprised, he wasn't expecting these guys to be a little nice to the hostages they kidnap.
"We took her because it would be the best way to have your youngest members to go alert you fools and come accept our challenge." Kalifa mentioned as she pushes back her glasses a bit.
"Right, there's that bad guy talk I was expecting…" Jurai sighed.
"Please, Madoka has nothing to do with this war nor knowing about us having powers. Just let her go!" Shirahoshi begged.
"Oh, but then you guys wouldn't have a reason to fight us which is what we want." Kalifa grinned down at the mermaid girl.
"But why do you even wanna fight us in the first place? We never done anything to you guys in the first place!" Hakoto asked, confuse of these guys doing this sort of thing.
"Exactly, you lots haven't done a single battle throughout the Fairy War over the past seven months since you have gotten your powers like the other newbies. That normally would take a couple of weeks or a month at least." Kalifa explained.
"And when two teams of power meet, they are to fight each other in order to move on within the war and advances. You can even bet on things to make the battle "more tense" as they say, if you wish to." Blueno explained some more after Kalifa.
"It's pretty suspicious that you and your team haven't been competing in the Fairy War, but that was soon discover because of your Fairy." Kalifa mentioned.
"That's right, Marsherry didn't want anything bad happening to us since this stupid war just started and we were roped into this." Tomoyo stated.
"And because of that, you all started training with your powers to see what each of you can do even having mock battles against each other." Kalifa mentioned.
"Crap, so they even know about our training sessions." Rebecca cursed.
"I don't think they were able to see us train, it's likely that when Chifuyu uses her World Create causing a dimensional wall that forms within our club room to be prevent being seen from the outside." Robin theorized.
"That's right, we couldn't see your training, but we know that you were doing something along those lines." Blueno nodded.
"And now our leader has become quite curious about your group being a threat to his goal of winning this Fairy War, which is why we're here to test your abilities, and to win for our group as a bonus." Kalifa said lifting one leg up, getting ready to fight.
"But why?" Jurai asked.
"Why what?" Kalifa was confused about the question.
"Why do we even have to fight? There are better ways to see which of our group is the best and awesome with our superpowers, this whole fighting thing just because of some dumb war is nonsense." Jurai rejected this kind of way to use their superpowers.
"Not only that, but you guys are apparently assassins before suddenly getting your superpowers which is both pretty cool and scary at the same time! How could you guys be okay with killing people in cold blood?" Jurai asked.
"Do you really need to ask? It's because we are born into the life of assassination, such is our fate, and we accept it fully." Blueno stated.
"And it's going to your fate to fight us in this battle whether you like it or not." Blueno added as he points at Jurai.
"(Fuck… These guys are serious, they really intend on fighting us like crazy to the death.)" Jurai thought clutched his fist.
"What's the matter? Are you doing to back down?" A man's voice asked mocking.
"Huh, who's that?" Chopper asked.
"We can't have that… You just got here!" The new voice said, and a flying cutting slash attack came at Jurai.
Jurai saw the attack only though his reaction wasn't fast enough for him to move out of the way, but then he is suddenly move to the side for the flying slash attack to fly past them and Jurai is hold by Tomoyo.
"Tomoyo! You saved me!" Jurai amazed.
"Yeah, yeah, don't read too much into it." Tomoyo said.
"And there we have it, the girl with the ability to stop time at will. That's one heck of a scary power we definitely gotta be careful." The man grinned.
"I see you've finally joined us, Nero. I thought you ditch us after begging Lucci to let you come along with us." Kalifa teased in a mocking.
"Hey! I was not trying to ditch you guys, I had to go to the bathroom because of that super, extreme spicy ramen I had earlier!" Nero shouted in anger while stomping his foot.
Nero is a pale, slim man, wearing a striking attire consisting of a dark-brown T-shirt, orange pants, decorated shoes and a hat adorned with a red plume. He has two necklaces around his neck, a simple one composed of green beads, and a bigger and more elaborate one, which consists of many red jewels linked together. He wears a glove on his left hand, and bracelets around the wrist. He has a unique hairstyle, with a bald top crossed by three mohawk-like strips.
"Whoa, check out that guys' hairstyle! It's so creepy like he's bald and tattoo his own head!" Hakoto pointed at Nero's head.
"Shut the fuck up! My hair is awesome!" Nero angered.
"You kids are really pissing me off and we haven't even started the battle yet!" Nero glared at the group, but then notice that Nico Robin's arms are cross.
This made Nero realizes that he is about to be attack and blitzes away from the second before Robin's arms pop out from the ground to grab him too late.
"Damn, I could've trap him." Robin cursed herself for not catching the guy faster.
"Damn, that almost got me." Nero laughed, revealed himself to be floating in the air.
"What the fuck, he's flying?" Sayumi shocked.
"Is that his own superpower? But wait, what about that flying slash attack he did?" Rebecca asked, feeling a bit confused.
"I guess I could give you a little detail as I'm sure you already know about the Iron Body technique Blueno showed. What I'm doing right out and the slash I did are two techniques from the same superhuman marital art style we like to call the Six Powers." Nero explained.
"The Six Powers?" Shirahoshi surprised.
"That's right, it's the same fighting we learned during our assassination training, and we've been push to break the very limits of the human body to master these techniques." Blueno explained.
"And this is all before they got their powers, I feel like we might be in way over our heads." Rebecca feared.
Those three guys are very strong in their own rights with their own insane martial art style and the superpowers make them even stronger to boot, they may have a hard time fighting this trio of danger.
"We can't back down, Rebecca! We have to save Kukui!" Chifuyu reminded her older friend what they're here for.
"Don't worry, I'm not running away!" Rebecca promised.
"Say, did you two tell them where their little friend is?" Nero asked.
"No, but maybe we could make this interesting." Kalifa said, getting an idea.
"Just to let you all know, the little girl we took is locked within the main office of this building inside a small locker, and the only way to open that locker is to use a key." Kalifa showed the key in her hand.
"Oh, I guess that's simple e… nough!" Jurai shocked when he saw Nero and Blueno each with their own keys, exactly the same as the one in Kalifa's hand.
"They all have the same keys!" Tomoyo screamed.
"This must mean only one of those keys is the one to open the locker, and we would have to defeat each of them in order to get those keys." Robin said.
"Exactly right! Although, I'm disappointed that not all of you are here. I thought that girl with the power stealing ability would be here too." Nero said, referring to Mirei.
"She's not here, so you're gonna have to deal with us." Robin glared fiercely that send shivers down Nero's spine.
"Fine, we can deal with one of you missing, but we're going to make you regret not bringing her along!" Nero smirked.
"You all have three minutes to ready yourselves, you'll find each of us on which includes the roof." Blueno informed before they walk inside from the rooftop.
"Well, looks like we're really doing this." Shirahoshi said.
"Not like we have a choice in the matter." Tomoyo pointed out, fearing they might do something bad to Madoka.
"But we can win this, I know we can!" Chifuyu determined to save her best friend.
"It looks like we're gonna have to put our power training in this situation after all." Robin said, hopefully she'll be able to work her way around that superspeed.
"My father told me when people do bad things, then you should stand up to those bad people. I will not like them have their way anymore!" Rebecca readied for the battle.
"It's your call, Jurai. Should we do in?" Sayumi asked.
"Do you even need to ask? Those guys dare to cross the line and anger the Lord of Darkness himself; they shall feel the cold blackness embrace until they beg for death!" Jurai said with a serious look.
"Jun-Kun is getting serious, that means I gotta be serious too!" Hakoto said, trying to get herself pump up.
"And I'll be able to help with my doctor skills!" Chopper hoped with the medical kit he brought.
"Those people are going to regret crossing us." Robin stated.
"Alright gang, let's go in and win this!" Jurai marched forward to the door with everyone following right behind him.
Unknown to them, Marsherry is watching them from above.
"Good luck and be safe." Marsherry prayed that group will be able to get out of this battle in one piece.
The Literature Club enters the gym which appears to be empty though they know one of those assassins is here and hiding out, waiting for the perfect chance to ambush them.
"You know, I think my father goes to a gym like this." Rebecca recalled.
"Didn't he used to be an MMA fighter at a young age?" Tomoyo asked, trying to remember if she got that right from what Rebecca told her.
But suddenly two dumbbells were thrown right for Tomoyo and Rebecca's head, but the latter was able to shield herself and Tomoyo with both arms.
"Come on out, coward!" Rebecca demanded.
"Oh, so I'm a coward. How flattering." Nero snickered and appears in the air.
"The weird hair guy!" Tomoyo shocked.
"My name is Nero!" Nero grunted, feeling angry at this girl for calling him like that and making fun of his hair too.
"Call me that again after this!" Nero reeled his right leg back.
"Watch out, he's about to do something!" Robin alerted.
"Tempest Kick!" Nero threw his leg unleashed the flying cut attack as the group quickly moves out of the way, letting the attack leave a cutting trail.
"Holy fuck, did he really do that by swinging his leg?!" Hakoto shocked.
"That's right! The Tempest Kick is when the legs become so strong, they can cut the air itself! Oh, and in case you were wondering, this is also known as Moon Walk that let's you kick the air so hard that you can run on it!" Nero bragged about the two techniques of the Six Powers.
"But can any of that withstand my fist!" Rebecca jumped at Nero to punch his light out.
"Shave!" Nero suddenly disappeared in an instant from Rebecca, and he kick her in the head from behind.
"That was another Six Powers technique that you can go superfast!" Nero smirked.
"And now I'll kill you!" Nero charged down to attack Rebecca again, but he was suddenly blown away by a strong gust of wind knocking him towards a window.
"Don't think I'm going to let you hurt my friend!" Hakoto said with an upset look.
"Jun-Kun! You and the others go on ahead, me and Rebecca will handle this guy here!" Hakoto said.
"What? Are you sure?" Jurai asked worry, not sure if it's a good idea to split up.
"She's right, it's better for some of us to split up and get to Chifuyu's friend as fast as possible while she's still okay." Tomoyo stepped in, going to fight Nero too.
"Besides, I can see this guy isn't much to worry about. So, we'll catch up very soon." Tomoyo smiled at Jurai with a thumbs up.
"Jurai, I think we should trust them to handle this guy. We've all grown strong together, and I know they can win!" Shirahoshi believed with a smile.
Even though things are looking very bad for everyone right now, Jurai couldn't stop this happy feeling that everything is going to work out well and believes that they can win this battle just like Shirahoshi said they would.
"Alright, your Lord of Darkness will put his faith that you will make it out of this battle alive and I expect you to bring back a proof of your victory!" Jurai smirked before running off.
"Doesn't that idiot every learn to take thing seriously?" Tomoyo sighed.
"That's just how he is." Shirahoshi reminded her of that personality while she and the others ran off after Jurai.
"I don't need to worry about going after them, the others will be able to get the job done." Nero smirked evilly.

"Clearly, you don't know what we're really capable of when we get into a serious fight!" Tomoyo smirked back.
"And you will feel our wrath!" Rebecca jumped at Nero for a punch to the face.
However, Nero once again use the Shave technique to dodge the attack and strike her from behind again.
But then everything froze in place like something just put the pause on the whole world itself or done by someone who stops time itself.
"I doubt you guys were prepared for my Closed Clock power, now you can't escape your fate!" Tomoyo grabbed Nero and moved him in front of Rebecca.
"Now, get a taste of the fist you deserve!" Tomoyo said and resume time again.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Nero gasped, seeing himself back where he was and the fist coming right at him.
"Taste this, villain!" Rebecca threw her punch.
"Paper Arts!" Nero started to move like paper to avoid the punch from that girl.
"I'm sorry, did you mean to punch nothing?" Nero asked insulting.
Rebecca tries punching him a bunch of times only to miss every time Nero moves his body around like he's super flexible.
"This is also a Technique of the Six Powers, granting the extreme flexibility like your whole body has just become paper." Nero explained.
"Then that means paper can be burn! Rebecca, move!" Hakoto conjured fire from her hands and unleash a big flaming attack.
Rebecca jumps away to let the fire attack hit only for Nero to quickly use his speed to go right above the fire attack and unleash a Tempest Kick at Hakoto, the girl quickly use wind to move herself out of the way.
"Let me see if I can do that. Tempest Slap!" Hakoto unleash her own flying slash attack.
This shocks Nero and quickly uses his own air slash attack against Hakoto's, the two against collide and then cancel each other out.
"Don't think you've gotten the best of me!" Nero was angered that a mere girl tried to copy the ancient fighting technique of the Six Powers like it was nothing. The technique that took him years of pain and training to master.
"Trust me, we're just getting started!" Hakoto smiled.

The battle to rescue Madoka has begun as Tomoyo, Rebecca, and Hakoto stayed behind on the first floor to battle against Nero while the others went on ahead. I'm sure you already see the superpower of Kalifa and Blueno, you'll be in for a surprise of what superpower Nero has against the girls.
