I know this is really long but I just had to post it.

I really wish I could get this apps text to speech to work again cause I know you all will have a problem with how long this is with it.

Heres to hoping its not to bad and you get through the chapter without it stopping.

the next day was Sunday, and Charlie was out fishing, which I was happy about. I was glad he was getting better. I just feel lonely, I have never felt lonely before. I have always not minded being alone. I Used to enjoy it. I looked to my left hand and frowned at my empty ring finger. It just made me think about things that I didn't want to think too much about. when Edward and I got together. I was never really alone. I always had Edward or Alice. Someone was always there when they left. I felt my eyes water. I blinked it away. I was alone until Jacobe, then I had him and the pack, then I was never alone yet again. I missed my family. After showing, I did some laundry, then put on my sneakers and walked outside. I took a deep breath. I didn't know if Edward was here watching. I don't think so since I didn't feel him, yet I walked into the woods following the path.

I walked a little bit into the woods till I found a log. I thought coming in here would bring me closer to him it didn't.

I felt my chest constrict as memories flashed in my head.

It was as if he was right there telling me goodbye again.

I started to shake and my breathing picked up.

The rustling of the trees caused me to freeze i looked around.

With the memory broken, I closed my eyes shook my head, and hurried back to the house.

I through myself Into Trig to keep my mind off of the week to come.

It helped a bit but I kept thinking about Port Angeles.

I finally gave up ignoring it and focused on it.

I needed to make a decision

I didn't want to do it.

I knew Edward would save me. I knew I would be okay in the end.

My worry was also about if I didn't do it.

If it wasn't me those guys would find someone else it would be my fault.

He had told me that One was a wanted man in other states he had done this before.

The others were just along for the ride.

Edward had said he had been watching me since we were at the store in Port Angeles he was watching me through Jessica and Angela.

If I see his car then I know he's their then I know it will be okay.

If I didn't see it then well I will think of something else.

I didn't want to involve cops my dad would just be overprotective and worried for me every time I left the house if he knew I was almost attacked.

If I told Edward he wouldn't let me go along with it.

I sighed.

Jasper and Rosalie.

Jasper thinks strategy he would use me as bait no problem and Rosalie wouldn't care as long as she got those men off the street.

How could I get them though?

I can't just go to their home.

Peter and Charlett are great and wouldn't mean to hurt me but it would be hard for them not to.

I didn't know what I could do.

I wouldn't see them before I went to Port Angeles and had no way to get in touch with them and even If I did what would I say?

By Monday I still hadn't figured it out another way.

I drove to school and sat outside enjoying the sun.

It was nice though I wish Edward were here.

"You kidding right?" I muttered under my breath.

He couldn't possibly be going to do this.

"Hi, Mike," I said in a bored tone when He walked up to me.

"Hey, I didn't notice before you have red in your hair." He commented and I pulled away when His hand reached up to touch it.

"Only in the sun," I said irritated.

He just makes things uncomfortable.

"So what did you do yesterday?"

"Oh Um, nothing really school work Trig and the English Essay."

"Oh Yeah, that's due Thursday right?"

"No Wednesday," I said I had finished the night it was assigned but I remembered this is how I got out of this before.

"Wednesday?" He frowned.

He asked what I was doing mine on and I told him of course he looked at me strangely.

"Dang I was going to ask if you wanted to go out tonight."

"Mike really," I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I mean we still can I can do my essay later." He said in a rush taking my words the wrong way.

"No thank you, Mike."I sighed "I'm not interested."

"Come on maybe Friday night then? You can't honestly be going out with that kid from La Push." He emphasized kid.

"Jake is a great guy and you're right we are not together and I don't see him that way, he's a family friend That's all." I said as I looked to Mike, hoping Edward was here listening, "I also have said I wasn't interested in you that way, and Mike you are so blind what about Jessica?"

"Jessica?"

"Mike honestly, you're here trying to get a girl that doesn't want you when there is a girl who's pretty, smart, and has so much to offer over there and the way she looks at you," I said exasperated as I did a small jester toward Jess.

Mike looked over to Jessica she was talking to Angela and Connor.

She saw us and gave a big smile to the mike and a small wave.

"See she likes you but the thing is girls don't wait forever and Connor, Connor has been staring at her since the beach outing. If someone else comes along that shows interest why would she stay with the one that ignores her." I said trying to get him to see.

"Oh." He said as he kept looking at Jessica.

Connor was looking at her he even put his arm around her and she laughed.

With that, Mike stood and walked over there.

I shook my head. "If there is a god please please let this sink into him if he asks me out one more time I will not be responsible for my actions," I said to myself softly as I looked to the sky.

I headed to class. I tried to focus in each class but failed.

In Trig and Spanish Jessica talked to me nonstop excited to go dress shopping she invited me and I, of course, said I would go.

Angela talked to me during lunch about going as well.

I told her I would help with constructive criticism.

Lauren wasn't happy to hear I was going of course.

I knew Edward and his family wouldn't be here yet I still looked to their table.

"So no Cullens today. Your so-called friends seem never to be around." Lauren commented.

Everyone at the table froze to look at me I noticed some other tables became quiet too.

I shrugged. "It's a beautiful day for hiking and fishing. They should be back On Wednesday. If It bothers you Lauren I'll go sit with them. I didn't want to crowd them as I'm friends with Alice and Edward I haven't talked to the others."

I stood up and headed to biology.

it was a long day after that it seemed biology and Gym just dragged.

I got home and waited for Jessica's call.

She called happy about her date with Mike. I acted surprised and happy for her.

I told her that was great and that it was cause she looked so good on Saturday that he wanted to go out before the dance.

Jessica was excited and quickly got off the phone with me After I gave her the advice to wear tight jeans and a blue or pink top.

I knew that she had worn a skirt and a thin tank top the last time they went out and when night came she was cold and Mike didn't know to give her a jacket and even though she gushed he stared at her legs and chest all night It's not a good thing he needs to see her as more than just a body.

I got an old quilt and headed outside with my book.

I laid out soaking up the vitamin D.

I read for a bit then soon dozed off.

I had a dream of Edward and me running in the forest just having fun.

I did miss the speed.

I woke feeling like I was being watched.

I looked around looking at the trees.

"Bella!" My head shot up to the house.

"out here! Sorry, I fell asleep outside." I called as I gathered my things.

Walking inside Dad was hanging his belt up.

"Dinner will be a little late."

"That's fine I wanted to catch the score on the game."

After dinner, I took my book into the living room and sat on the couch pretending to read.

I knew Dad would change the channel from the game if I didn't seem into the book and I didn't want him to change it since we wouldn't like the same thing.

"Um right. what for again?"

"Dad. Remember Jessica, Angela and I are going to Port Angeles after school tomorrow."

"Um right. what for again?"

"Well, the girls wanted to look at dresses and shoes for the dance they wanted me to go for my opinion and of course, girl bonding it's what friends do." I shrugged

"Nope. Alice and I will be spending the day together."

"Okay, but it is a school night tomorrow."

"We will leave right after school and be back as early as we can, they have curfews as well," I said.

He nodded.

"I will leave cold cuts and everything you will need on the top shelf and leave bread out.

"Bells I took care of myself for 17 years before you got here." He laughed.

He went back to the game and I pretended to read for a little longer just enjoying being with Dad.

The next day I got ready for school I put on my jeans and the blue V-neck blouse.

"Oh no, I'm fine really. and don't say anything the last thing I need is for anyone without a date to ask me." I said knowing if I hinted that someone would ask Jess wouldn't say anything.

"SO Edward canceled then," Jess stated and eyed me in the rear mirror.

I rolled my eyes.

"No, we are still hanging out so I'll be fine, then Alice said we would hang out on Sunday."

"Alice? Alice Cullen?" Jessica asked "Yes. I told you we are friends." I said.

"Girl stuff, facials, nails she wants to play with my hair."

"Wait wait are you staying over there?"

"No, I wish my dad would never. well maybe if the boys went camping."

"What? I don't know." I laughed. "I ran into her at school and after saying sorry we talked, She's nice she's bubbly, and 's very hard not to like."

We got to the store and Jessica and Angela started looking.

I went to the dresses I could remember they had picked last time and some that weren't too bad.

I walked over to Jessica and showed her the ones I picked and told her to try them on and I showed Angela hers and said the same.

They loved the dresses I picked of course and I complimented them and then told them what I liked.

"Bella I'm glad we brought you," Jessica said as she looked her herself in the mirror in the blue dress.

"Yes, thanks Bella they were good choices."

"Girls you wear the dresses they don't wear you. You look good in them 'cause you look good." I smiled

Girls are so insecure and I used to be that way too.

I had a little girl and I wanted her to know she was beautiful that she was great and that she didn't need a man, or clothes, or anything to make her beautiful she just was.

I helped Angela pick out shoes and then asked the girls after if I could go to the bookstore.

I left the dress store making sure to say things that would have Angela and Jessica thinking that I left hopefully.

I walked out of the store and I did see the silver Volvo.

I walked into the bookstore since I hadn't gone in before.

"Please help me," I said not too loud I didn't want the guys to hear.

I scooted to the side of the building and walked.

"Hey, There!" one called out.

I knew not to answer this time I bit my lip keeping quiet.

I quickly walked away from them laughing.

I kept my ears open I knew two were following me, I faintly heard their quiet footsteps, I could hear them, staying as far back as they'd been before. A blue car turned onto the street from the south and drove quickly past me.

This was it there he was lounging against the building, where the other two men both watching with excited smiles as I froze dead on the sidewalk.

They spoke to the ones behind me I stood just waiting.

I clutched the spray like it was my lifeline.

The dark-haired man pushed away from the wall and walked close to me.

"You better stay away." I breathed and my voice shook so didn't come out very well.

"Don't be like that Sugar," he said.

"My friend won't like it if you touch me," I said more

"Your friend." He laughed.

"You alone sugar."

"Oh, you think so." I took the spray out smirked and sprayed him right in the eyes and I heard the screeching of the tires.

I looked up to see Edward.

"Oh thank god you did come," I said as I stumbled over to his car.

"Get in."

I got in his car put on my seatbelt and he sped out of there.

I laughed.

I was in shock yet was happy and relieved and I just laughed.

"I can't believe I got him I did it I got him" I was also proud of myself.

"Bella what the hell were you thinking." He said.

"Don't be mad I did what I had to that that monster is sick. It was meant to happen."

"It's fine Edward I'm okay."

"I have to get to Jessica and Angela."

"Sorry, I got completely lost I was walking around and just didn't know where I was then this guy." I pointed my thumb at Edward.

"Pulled up scared me and asked what I was doing." I smiled

We made it to my house in record time.

I frowned. "Next time go slower one so we can talk more and two if an accident did happen only you can walk away," I said.

"You'll be at school tomorrow?"

I walked into the house dad commented that I was early I explained that it was easy girls found dresses quickly we ate and then headed right home.

I went up to my room grabbed my clothes and was going to get in the shower when the phone rang oh.

"Jessica I asked if she would call when she got home so I know she made it."
