TRANSHUMANIST IN HELL
Chapter 2 – Back to Earth 2 Electric Boogaloo Part 1
John, Lucifer, Belial, Leviathan, Satan, Mammon, Asmodeus, Beelzebub and an unwilling Belphegor are walking towards the roof of Pandemonium so that Lucifer and Belial can have their fight, but at the same time it has been decided that John must show that he is worth for returning back to Earth, so he will have to fight Satan. The rule for his fight specifically will be that he has to survive 5 minutes against Satan and hit her at least one time during the 5 minutes. These 5 minutes derives by the fact that Satan wants to understand if the parry that John has made to her in their first encounter was simply luck or skill, all the while John is currently talking with Mammon for new deals when he will go back to Earth.
[Meanwhile on Earth]
Maria, Selina and Helly are together eating in a bar in front of the church. Maria has a sad expression on her face blaming herself for the fall of John. If nothing else she was relieved when he started to talk from the strange device that he had throw to Selina just moments before falling in the pit. During the conversation John asked Maria to remain calm, never leave Selina or Helly side and believing that he would go back alive and well. Even if it has been less than 24 hours from the incident Maria has prayed very hard the night before so that John could return to her. Meanwhile Selina and Helly followed the other instructions left from John; that are making excuses that he could go to the meetings of today because he had genius flash for a new invention to demonstrate to the investors and that they will surely appreciate it.
While the three women were busy eating and or talking about the news from John, which is that he has found a way out of Hell, but that he could not add anything else for the moment, a woman started to go towards them moving her right hand has to claim their attention and when she was nearby enough Maria recognised her. The two girls then run towards one another and hugged with all their strength the other.
"Mina! I didn't know you were in the area. What are you doing here?".
"EHEH! Surprise, surprise. I have just recently returned from my journey in America, and I thought there was just a recent girl that has been promoted woman that I had to meet".
"*sigh* even after all these years your horniness has not reduced itself".
"*pout* don't be so mean. I mean how could someone resist to your charm when you have such sinfully wide hips and big soft ass".
Without any restrain and with a smile that leave nothing to the imagination Mina starts to grope all over Maria moaning her envy for Maria's big hips. On her part Maria simply pouting at her friend's antics, all to the pleasure and laugh of Selina and Helly. Then Mina notices the two girls on the table and ask Maria to present them to her.
"Of course! Selina-san, Helly-san. She is Mina-chan a friend of mine from the local high school. After we graduated from High school she went to a College in America, while I remained in Japan and now she is with me at the Church, even if up until yesterday she was back in America to meet some College friends. Mina, they are Selina-san and Helly-san the two secretaries of that friend who I talked to you sometimes John-san".
Mina is a girl as tall as Maria with brown chest-length shaggy hair and blue eyes. She wears the same grey nun suit as Maria that show her thin physique and her D-cup size breastes.
"Now John is doing some other stuffs for a… a… a commission, yes! So unfortunately, you cannot meet him right now".
Mina felt a little sad to not be able to meet the famous John-san. Mina knows that Maria has a crush on him, but she is too shy to say it. So, she decides to make a little fun of the shy little girl.
"Eh. So, the famous John-san that you always talk about is in the city and judging from the fact that these two bombshells are his secretaries he must be incredibly rich." Then she goes to Helly and says to her ear. "Do you know Helly-san, one time Maria said just how much of a stud he is and how much she wanted to be railed in bed by him".
Maria completely shocked and embarrassed by this screamed.
"MINA!".
"EHEHEH. Sorry, sorry *giggles*".
All the women at the table then started laughing about this and talked a lot more about John and the fact that he is a multi-billionaire.
After a while, when it is already dusk, Mina looked at her watch and says that she must go or will lose the train to go visit her parents in the countryside. With one last hug between Mina and Maria the two women saluted each other and just a few minutes after Selina received a message from John saying that he and some guests would show up back to the church at the site of the crash and they must go there asap.
"Come on it is time to go".
Without losing a single second the three women started to run towards the site of the crush of the cross from the Heaven.
[Meanwhile back in Hell]
The entire group has finally reached the roof, the frosty winds of Cocytus blow harsh on the outside, even if they form a sort of circle with Pandemonium at its centre, like the Pandemonium itself is the eye of this ice typhoon. The two groups then divide themselves; with their backs towards the planes of Cocytus there are Lucifer and John, with Leviathan on the side to give them space to fight, even if she is only cheering for Lucifer. To the other side there are Belial and Satan ready to fight, while the other Mortal Sins have formed a pseudo semi-circle at their backs, with some of them like Asmodeus and Mammon looking carefully how this fight will go.
"You Fool. If you think that beat me and become the next head of the Seven Mortal Sins will be easy you are gravely mistaking". Belial says in a boasting tone trying to show her position and intimidating Lucifer, but these tactics are completely useless with her.
"*yawning* That's enough talk, let's get down to business". Lucifer again uses her tactics to make Belial fall into her anger and not making her have a cool mind.
Meanwhile Satan and John alternate between looking at the other two women and Satan giving a mix of a curious and sceptic look at John. Trying to break the ice John is the one to make the first move.
"Sorry, but there is something on my face? You are looking at me in a very intense way".
"Don't make a fuss of such a minor thing. This fight will show to me if you were able to redirect my axe by simple luck or not. Nevertheless, you have quite the strange armour on you, more so to being able to make you immune to the cold temperatures of Cocytus".
"Oh?! Thanks to have noticed it. This is my Atlas armour Mk. 2 it was made thanks to the incredible amount of information of test subjects the Mammon-san has given me in these years. So, you must not worry yourselves, something like the cold of this place will not interfere in our fight. Even so, I would like this to be a fight between warriors of honour if this is okay with you".
"Obviously, there is no point in winning against an enemy using cheap tricks and foul moves. Only in a fair fight we can truly tests our skill. I am relieved that a human like you understand this concept".
"Remember Satan that you shall not kill him. He is simply a poor victim of this sly angel. Only use the amount of force that you need to take out of your little heads your doubts".
"You don't need to tell me how to fight Belial. I will use the amount of force that I will retain necessary to prove his worth".
"Mph, do as you like. While for you Lucifer I have quite the weapon ready for you. This the demonic sword passed down in the Byrnedale family, Dàinsleif. This sword will not return into its scabbard until its enemy is dead".
"Mph. simply a uselessly big sword for a boasting big woman".
Lucifer continue to mock her adversary while reading her demonic spear. At the same time even Satan take herself into position for an heavy attack with her pole-axe.
"Draw your weapon human!".
John obliges and position himself in a Kung Fu stand. His weapons will be his "bare" fists, while his helmet close itself around his face so that he can protect himself from attack to the face. But Satan thinks that he is looking down on her and she thinks that he is underestimating her power because he has redirected one of her attacks.
"Hoi human. Are you looking down on me? Do you think you can fight me with only your bare hands?".
Even the other demon women more or less agree with Satan. For how much strong a human can be, he or she is completely helpless against a devil, even more so for a Demon Lord, as they are the one who stands at the top of Hell hierarchy. But, even because his face is covered by the helmet, John is completely unfazed and in a calm and serious tone says.
"Isn't this what you want? To see with your eyes if our first encounter was luck or skill. Do not worry I am not underestimating you by any stretch of the imagination. Nevertheless, with my bare fist and my Atlas armour I will beat you and make you understand to not look down on humans and our potential".
All the Demon Lords were taken back by such a display of courage, or some would say folly. But all of them could tell by glance he is not joking he seriously believes that he can beat a Demon Lord with only his hands. The first one to react to his statement is his adversary, with Satan starting a belly laugh which was completely out of character for the ones who knows her.
"EHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! VERY WELL! I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE! I will use my full power from the start. Hope you are not going to regret it!".
And with this final statement the battle started. The first to attack is Belial with her sword using the technique "Thousand Apocalypses" which consist of swinging the sword at high velocity to give the impression to the enemy that he is attacked by different directions. Lucifer takes the attack by defending herself, and even if she is taken back of some steps she defends successfully, to the shock of Belial. At the same time Satan attacks John with a big swing of her pole-axe horizontally from right to left while charging at him, but John is completely unfazed by it and without problems he counter charges at Satan and before her axe connects with his body he rolls on his left side just in the nick of time to evade the axe, then he immediately goes back on his feet and without losing momentum connect a left hook that hit Satan in her ribcage. The punch does not do a lot of damage, but nevertheless she felt it and now she going to be even more serious in beating him. Lucifer meanwhile continue her struggles with Belial. The head of the Seven Mortal Sins is nonetheless the second strongest member when we talk about physical strength after Satan, so she is not someone to be underestimated. Lucifer spear and Belial sword continue clashing between one another, the advantage that Lucifer should have thanks to the length of the spear is nullified because Belial is using a great sword which is just a few centimetres shorter than her. Nevertheless, Lucifer starts to have a picture of Belial fighting capabilities and is ready herself for a critic attack. On the other battlefield, after John successful if not decisive punch, Satan is using her superior power and strength to rotate her poleaxe with incredible speed. By swinging it all over her body in circles that cover it in its entirety she is not only blockading John from attacking again using is agility and battle sense o penetrate her defence, but it is also accumulating kinetic energy which are then used to amplify the power of her attacks. John on his part can only maintain his position, analysing his enemy's patterns and use his great reflexes and agility to evade Satan attacks. The proof of the great technique of the Demon Lord is shown by the numerous slashes on the ground all over him. Nevertheless, John is not simply defending, but by carefully observing how Satan attacks works he will be capable to find that window of opportunity for a landing a hit. Unfortunately, it seems that such a window exists only in that few tens of second between Satan stopping her swinging and her attacking, not much, but something, nonetheless. So, he decides to take the bull by the horns, almost literally if we take into consideration that he is fighting a demon woman with horns and go on the offensive. But contrary to his first try, where he used the axe itself as a way to ease his rolling, this time he will show to Satan just how powerful martial arts are.
The charge is perfectly timed. Satan was already on her final swing before doing another attack, so she has no choice but to proceed with the attack even if she knows that in the case, she misses he will have the perfect chance to hit, but it is that or nothing. So, she decides to slightly increase the speed of her attack in hope to put John into disarray, but he had foreseen it and continue to proceed with his plan. Satan is ready for the attack, a diagonal swing with all her strength from right to left aimed at John's left shoulder. The attack is so fast that to a normal human eye it would only appear as a blur, but John is not your average human and he decided to demonstrate just how great human technological prowess has become in this last centuries. All of a sudden from John perspective time seems to slow down, the attacks from Satan that seemed so fast and certain to hit now is akin to a slow-motion film, but nevertheless it is an attack that can kill him. John then put himself into position. The secret of John martial arts is that it is based on pure logic and mental fortitude; logic because each one of his movements is made to use as little as possible of his own stamina while making his enemy worn out by herself, mental fortitude because having a cool mind that will not let emotions take a hold of yourself during such an intense battle will not let you be intimidated by the unknown capabilities of your enemy. The cornerstone of this martial art is for these two-reason redirection of the enemy attacks, the entire objective is outlasting your enemy by giving them a death by a thousand cuts. This means in poor words that John for someone like Satan, who is heavily relying on her superior strength and power as a Demon Lord to beat him, he is the worst possible match.
John demonstrates this by again using his left hand in a wheel motion making her attack miss, hitting the ground just a few centimetres out of his left foot, and then positioning his right hand for the famous Bruce Lee move of the one-inch punch, which in that moment and with a speed that makes time himself in slow motion it is simply devastating.
Satan didn't even now what was happening. One moment she was almost hitting the human left shoulder with her axe, then it all changed in less than a second. Her axe suddenly hit the ground going in a direction which should not be possible giving how she was attacking, but she wasn't given time to understand what was going on. Because she started to feel a metallic touch on her upper abs. while she wasn't understanding what was going on her brain did, and in panic she started to use her full power on her reflex to see what this human was doing. But it was already to late, while now she could see the human he was already in the final part of his attack and from her position she could not retaliate, but she was fast enough to make sure that she would not take the full force of the attack, not that it was going to change the outcome of the fight. Suddenly she felt an immense pain on her stomach, she was shocked that a human could hit a Demon Lord with so much power, that even after using her abilities to minimize the damage she felt pain nonetheless, other then that she was looking in slow motion has she started to go away from John further and further, his attack so strong as to completely making Satan fly away and hit the ground a dozen or so meters behind the other Demon Lords.
To say that all of them from Belial to Beelzebub, even Belphegor went out of her typical don't care mindset, were completely flabbergasted would be an underestimation of what has happening. Let us take a little time to analyse how Hell, and by extension Devil, society works. At the lowest level there are the human souls that here live in eternal torment for their sins, who more who less. Then there are the unintelligent animals of hell, like hellhounds. But then we have the demons, and it is important to not confuse demons with Devils, because they are two separate things. In short, demons are creatures that have originated from Hell itself when God created it some are more intelligent than others, but on average they have human-level mental capabilities, but they are a lot stronger. One example of demons is the Hell Knight (think of that from DOOM). But the Devils, they were the angels that betrayed God and tried to overthrow him a few centuries after Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Obviously, their rebellion failed, but by the orders of God himself the few survivors, the ones who would starts the 72 pillars in the Small Key of Solomon, were exiled to Hell to rule over it and make sure that the human souls in there would be punished. Some would except that such a punishment would decree the end for them and for a time it was like that; there were a lot of infights between the surviving fallen angels while they were accusing each other of their demise. Until some unknown Devils find out in the deepest part of Hell something that they fought impossible to exist or that should have been eliminated when God was born.
Primordial Chaos. What existed before God himself. And the reason in the first place as to why God banished Adam and Eve from Eden, because they were contaminated with the Primordial Chaos. The seven Devils thought long and hard on what to do with this finding until moved by hatred and desperation they let Chaos inside their bodies. Thus, the first generation of the Seven Mortal Sins was born. They quickly started to spread the Chaos to all other fallen angels, not that it was difficult given the situation; from that point on the Devils became the absolute and undisputed rulers of Hell and at the same time God, fearing what the Devils would do now that they were out of his control, started an all out war with the Devils, with legion upon legion of both mythical creatures and humans on both sides. But in the end, it would prove completely useless, and the war ended in a stalemate with the First generation of both the Seven Mortal Sins and the Seven Heavenly Virtue being changed because all their members died in the war (this was the time in which Lucifer became the leader of the Heavenly Virtues). After that the war became a low-intensity conflict, more a war in the shadow, but that proved nonetheless heavy to bear for the Devils, even more so because of the slow rate of their capabilities to give birth to new Devils. Now, all the angels, and by succession, Devils are female. But because Angels are artificially created by God with his power the fallen angels would have been unable to increase their own numbers, that said; their passage from Fallen Angels to Devils made them now capable to reproduce like humans do, and so they started their endless research for the most powerful or adapt humans in the world, corrupt them and then having a new Devil children. This is one of the main reasons God started the war as soon as possible, because if he gave Devils too much time, they could potentially outnumber the angels. But, unfortunately for Devils the research for such a tiny percentage of the male human population that could give them powerful children made so that they were never able to reach quite the numbers they wanted. The war simply put the final nail on the coffin of this project.
So, here you have an entire race of supernatural women who themselves are the most powerful out of all of them and who thought of human male only as good sperm donors, because even if they searched for powerful men never, they thought that they could win against them and centuries of doing so proved their theories right.
Up until this point.
Out of all of them Satan was the first to recover and, while returning back to her position to continue fighting, asked to John, in a not so much calm way.
"HOW THE HELL WHERE YOU CAPABLE OF DOING IT?!".
The red blushes on her cheeks showed as much shame for being completely taken out as love/lust interest. And who more who less all the other Demon Lords felt something strange in their bodies, some instincts that make them particularly heating themselves when they were looking at John.
As said before the Devils and the Demon Lords have always searched for powerful males. Centuries of breeding in this way made them instantly reactive and sexually attracted to any human that they recognized as strong, and if a human is capable of making a Demon Lord flying with only his bare hand for a dozen meters, he is strong without a shadow of a doubt about it.
John then answers to Satan's question with the same calm as if he is walking in a park.
"Well, first and foremost this armour his made of a special alloy which I have chemically created thanks to the materials that Mammon was so happy to sell to me. Then there are my muscles, because I modified my muscles by infusing them with a specially made extremely flexible adamantium alloy, which gives me increased strength and durability while not sacrificing in terms of stamina. Then there is my spine".
"Your spine?". Asked Satan intrigued.
"Yes, I have changed my spine and my entire nervous system with one that makes me able to increase my speed reflex to the point that I can see the time going at slower time than normal. Obviously, I have enhanced or changed other parts of my body like my eyes, legs, some internal organs and so on. But relatively to your question these are the main instruments that made me able to punch you with such force".
"Eh? Interesting. Are you not worried that God would disapprove all these modifications to your body?".
The last part was said by Satan to be more like a joke, but the atmosphere suddenly changed with a heavier one, with John as the centre of this uneasy feeling.
"God? God has no rule over my life, if he likes what I am doing to my body or not it is of concern to him. I will modify my body as much as I want, whoever I want, and God will have no said on the matters. My mind is a computer so I will program it; my body is a machine so I will modify it; Death is a disease so I will cure it. This is what I believe, and God will not be able to change my mind in any way shape or form (Shout out to TV Tropes for their summary of Eclipse Phase and the amazing Punch line written on it, I found it very inspiring).
The Demon Lords and Lucifer were completely taken back from such a change in personality, to think that someone who would try to resolve things pacifically could hide such a powerful will was astonishing, and the heat inside the bodies of the Demon Lords only grew in intensity, and even Lucifer started to feel it (this is because there are fighting in Pandemonium where the influence of the Primordial Chaos is stronger, and considering that Lucifer has already betrayed God, the influence of Chaos is only becoming stronger and stronger inside of her).
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Magnificent, truly magnificent! I am sorry if I underestimated you huma_ no John-san. From now on I will show you what a Demon Lord is truly capable of doing".
"EHEHEH. No problem and thanks Satan-san. Then I will show you the strength that Humanity has gained in our endless Odyssey!".
And with these last words the two fighters restarted their combat, now at a speed that none, except the Demon Lords, could follow, the fight is so intense that, trying to not destroy Pandemonium, they take out in the sky to continue their fight, with Satan taking out her bat wings, while John using anti-gravitational thrusters to fly and fight against Satan. Meanwhile even Lucifer and Belial restarted their fight, but this time with the latter on the offensive. Lucifer then use her newfound advantage to take out Belial great sword, who she is using now as a kind of shield. Because of how much she was pinched and obliged to use her sword to defend she was not able to prepare for Lucifer next attack. Lucifer use a special technique which consist of thrusting her spear into the sword with all her strength and then using her powers to create special vibrations to break the molecular bonds of the sword.
Needlessly to say the damage to the sword is absolutely devastating, with the sword itself completely breaking itself of in tens of pieces and with Belial remaining with only the handler, the handguard and a few centimetres of the blade itself, now completely useless.
"No! My family heirloom! Reduced to tiny pieces!".
"Must have been pretty cheap".
"You damn angel!"
While Belial is absolutely livid for the destruction of her family sword, but she has not the time to cry over it, because Lucifer immediately pressure on her to end the fight as quickly as possible. But Belial is not someone that is easily to beat, and she is able to defend herself with only her hands. But the advantage of being able to use the spear of Lucifer makes quick work of the resistance of Belial. With a powerful left hook, she is capable of making Belial literally flying and crashing on her back. The attack is so strong that the elegant blue dress of Belial is completely destroyed leaving her completely naked in front of Lucifer.
"I guess you are not very receptive. I am no more an angel of God, I was banished here from him, so I have no loyalty towards him. I am here so that I can demonstrate my power to all of you and claim the position as new Demon Lord and leader of the Seven Mortal Sins. Nevertheless".
Lucifer starts to pick pieces of the ravaged dress of Belial.
"These were supposed to be my spoils of war, but they are just cheap rags".
"How dare you?! You are insulting the Byrnedale family. I will not forgive you".
The rage and the humiliation that Belial is feeling inside her body at the words and actions of Lucifer are becoming unbearable for her and what the other Mortal Sins are saying is not making her any better.
"Eh? That angel is strong". Comments Asmodeus.
"She took out Belial-san with ease, even if she is only second to Satan in terms of strength". Adds Mammon.
"Belial is always second". Says Belphegor without caring if she is heard or not.
"Jack of all trades". Beelzebub says in her typical emotionless tone.
"Eh? It seems that Lucifer is not so bad. What do you think?". Satan comments on the situation, even if she is currently occupied with John. But he replies to her question.
"For how much it is quite incredible the fight is far from lost for Belial-san. I have understood a long time ago that one must not let their guard down, especially when their enemy is the underdog of the situation".
"Oh? So, you are saying that Belial, the head of the Seven Mortal Sins, is the one that started from a disadvantage?".
"Is she not? Considering your total lack of action when she asked to all of you to attack Lucifer and how indifferent your reactions were to her defeat, I can fairly say that Belial-san is the underdog of the situation. Nevertheless, I want to see what her next move will be. I have the feeling we will assist to something interesting".
And with this rapid exchange of words the two restart to fight each other. Meanwhile, back to Belial; she is still sitting down on the cold floor in only her birth suit trying to ponder what to do next, but the humiliation that Lucifer is making her go through is really not helping her. But then a voice comes from her back.
"Ojou-sama. Belial-ojousama".
"It is you Gnosis".
Gnosis is a spiritual demon canine. An evolved version of the normal hellhounds. Demons like Gnosis were used as companions by Devils and as guardians of their houses. Its body is made of flames with his face covered in a canine bone mask with two big horns and the rest of his head covered in a blue helmet. Seemingly so his shoulders are covered by disk-like armoured plates.
"Yes, it is me. It is pitiful to see you in such conditions, please use my body. I will protect you with all I have".
"Very well. Then become my sword and my shield Gnosis be the last line between me and my enemies and give me you power so that I can make them understand to not make light of the Byrnedale family!".
"YES!"
And with that the spirit of Gnosis transformed itself in a new armour for Belial. Now most of her body is completely exposed, especially her belly, but her shoulders are covered in comically massive, armoured plates, with the one on the right having the bone mask of Gnosis, even if she seems not to be blockaded by them. Her new weapon now is a massive, armoured claw with three fingers on her right hand. Belial then start to fly and takes a higher position over Lucifer.
"Oh?" Lucifer looks at Belial impressed waiting for her next move.
"Fallen Angel, take my special attack!".
All of a sudden, a series of vices appears on from the blank point of Lucifer and starts to cover her entire body. Lucifer can immediately feel that most of her powers have been sealed by this curse that Belial has inflicted upon her. With no other choice considering the now disproportion in strength between the two of them Lucifer can do nothing but take out her angel wings and fly away. All to the pleasure of Belial. The latter on the other end doesn't waste time.
"In the name of Belial leader Of the Seven Mortal Sins I command all of you to capture the fallen angel Lucifer! I don't care how much you hurt her".
Unable to disobey the orders of their leader, even if unwillingly all the other sins start to chase Lucifer. Even Satan is obliged to follow the orders, even if she wanted to continue the fight with John.
"Tch. What a shame I wanted to see how this fight was going to end. I am sorry John-san. It seems we will have to postpone the end of our fight".
"No problem, Satan-san. We will end this later. Nevertheless, I will go with you. As I said before this battle is going to be interesting to say the least".
"Perfect. Then let us not waste time. I have an angel to chase after all".
While she and john were flying towards the other sins who have already started to attack Lucifer, John could not resist himself from asking in his head.
'Belial was capable of completely changing the situation because she was the underdog at that moment, but you are the one now Lucifer-san. Let us see how you will change the outcome of this fight'.

Hi everyone, I am very happy to public the second chapter of this story just a few days after the first one. This story has taken a liking of me way beyond what I had originally envisioned. Anyway, I plan to release the second chapter of Voyage for Humanity before starting to write the third chapter of Transhumanist in Hell. Nevertheless, I wait anxiously your comments on how the story is going so far and we will see each other to the next chapter.
