Beginning Of The End
Chapter 3
After spending a few hours comforting Tiānshî, Shang Xiang led her to the armoury.
" Pick out any armour you like. All that is required is that you wear red to show that you are one of us. Once you are dressed, Pick a weapon or two. We will start training immediately. By the time the army is ready to move out, You will be counted among the warriors. " Shang Xiang smiled before leaving the armoury and standing in front of the door so no one disturbed Tiānshî while she chose her armour and weapons.
As Tiānshî looked around, She took in the different armour that adorned the shelves and display racks. Ranging from simple cloth, Different suits of Leather, Padded fur armour, Chain mail, Scale Mail, Plate armour and several sets of what appeared to be variations of Splint armour. After looking around, Tiānshî saw a glint of metal that appeared to be purposefully placed toward the back of the armoury. After pushing aside other sets of armour with loud crashes and sounds of metal bouncing around the room, Tiānshî managed to get close enough to examine it.
On what appeared to be an old armour rack, Covered by a cloth, Was a set of sparkling silver Plate Armour with dark red trim in pristine condition with an accompanying suit of Scale Mail to be worn underneath. The Helmet was layered metal resembling scales with a mouth plate connected to it at the sides of the jaw that resembled the mouth of a dragon, The chest plate was layered to look like scales, The gauntlets had what appeared to be a dragon inlaid in the form of the metal, The pauldrons were layered to match the chest and had small spines that resembled dragon wings on the shoulder tops, The tassets sat neatly at the waist and had a small tail shaped metal accompaniment on the backside with a small tabard on the front that sat between the tassets and had a black dragon emblazoned over a background of dark red with a light silver trim, The thigh armour matched the chest plate and hinged at the knee to connect to the armoured boots that also matched the chest plate but had inlaid form at the tips of the toe and heel that resembled dragon talons and were also hinged to allow easier movement.
After taking in the magnificent sight of the armour she had found, Tiānshî took the armour off the rack a piece at a time and set it on the table in the middle of the room. After laying the armour out in order, Tiānshî looked around for something to wear beneath it. After a few minutes of searching, Tiānshî found a soft, Black shirt that was a slightly tighter fit than she would have liked but was not uncomfortable and a set of black pants that were also slightly tighter than she felt was necessary. After putting on the clothes, Tiānshî pulled the Scale Mail on before beginning the long process of putting on her new armour.
Forty Five Minutes Later
After quite a bit of struggling, Tiānshî had managed to get her armour on in the correct order after several incorrect choices. Once her armour was on, Tiānshî examined the weapons adorning various racks and shelves. After looking over various swords, Glaives, Axes, Hammers, Daggers and variations of ranged weapons, Tiānshî spotted a pair of Broadswords with sheathes on the top shelf. After climbing the shelves carefully to retrieve them, Tiānshî unsheathed one of the blades and examined it properly. The hilt had a tightly wrapped, Black cord around it. The blade was straight until it curved slightly at the tip and had a keen edge with a serrated back edge and the sheathes were carefully made and decorated with silver floral lines.
After tying the blades to her waist, Tiānshî opened the door of the armoury and stepped into the sunlight. As Shang Xiang turned to look at Tiānshî she spoke with a tone of shock.
" Where did you find that armour... " Shang Xiang examined the armour with a look of awe as Tiānshî spoke.
" It was buried at the back of the armoury. I barely noticed it. Why? " Tiānshî looked confused as Shang Xiang shook her head before speaking.
" It just looked a bit familiar. I probably imagined it. Shall we start training? " Shang Xiang smiled as Tiānshî nodded before Shang Xiang spoke again.
" Now then, We will start with the basics. For that, You will have to train with the soldiers. Follow me to the barracks and you will be assigned to a squad for training. " Shang Xiang smiled as Tiānshî smiled and nodded before turning away as Shang Xiang's smile faltered and was replaced by a look of sadness before she walked quickly to catch up to Tiānshî.
After walking toward the barracks for a few minutes, Shang Xiang stopped and spoke. " You know, We are all kind of cautious with new people. Especially ones from the Wei dungeons. But not me. I'm not concerned because I'm suspicious of you, I am concerned because I fear the rage and hatred that your treatment in Wei has filled your heart with. I know it isn't my place to say but, Don't let all the hatred and anger poison you. Fulfilling your need for revenge won't take that pain away. It won't take the memories away. "
" Thanks for the advice, But honestly, I don't know if it's vengeance I need.
I want my home back. My family back. But I can't have those things. Until I figure out what it is that I need, Everyone treating me like a spy really isn't helping. " Tiānshî sighed softly before continuing toward the barracks as Shang Xiang sighed softly and turned back toward the palace.
" I know. But you have to understand how cautious we are. Cao Cao will stop at nothing to take control of China. He will kill even the Emperor to see his plans to fruition and his power increase. Someone from his dungeons with a story of torture and scars could very well be a spy if you think about it. " Shang Xiang spoke delicately but bluntly before Tiānshî sighed softly.
" I realise that Shang but it still stings a little. Do you not think that if I wanted any of you dead I would have waited? " Tiānshî stopped walking and looked toward Shang Xiang as she turned to face Tiānshî.
" I know. Which is why I am so calm around you. I don't get any negative feelings or instinctual warnings about you. I feel like you have told us the truth. Just be careful. Especially with Quan. He doesn't seem to like you much for some reason. For now, The barracks are that way. Head over there and the instructors will assign you to a squad for training. " Shang Xiang smiled sweetly as Tiānshî thanked her before walking away. As Tiānshî walked away, Shang Xiang sighed exhaustively before turning and walking back to the palace.
As Tiānshî walked toward the barracks, She heard the sounds of marching and clashing swords. As she rounded the corner and approached the Barracks, Tiānshî was approached by the Instructor.
" Lady Xiang's handmaiden tells me you are joining us for the battle. If you want to be ready for that, We better begin your training immediately. Fall in with the recruits for basic training. "
As the Instructor turned and walked away, Tiānshî quickly ran over and joined the lines of recruits awaiting instructions.
" Alright then. Today we will be going through basic training. We are going to start with simple combat stances. Draw your blades. "
As the Instructor finished speaking, The recruits all drew the swords hanging from their belts as Tiānshî drew her twin Broadswords before the Instructor continued speaking.
" Alright then, We will start with basic stances and strikes. Feet at shoulder width apart, Keep your guard up... " The Instructor tapped the hand of a soldier with his guard down before continuing. " Good. Shift your right foot back so that your shoulder width extends diagonally. " The Instructor paused again as the recruits all did as they were told. " A fair start. Now then, The first strike is a downward strike from above your head. Maintain your balance as you raise your weapon and follow through at an angle from shoulder to hip. "
As each soldier motioned to strike, The instructor noticed Tiānshî holding twin swords. " You there! Who gave you two blades? "
" Lady Xiang did. If you have an issue with it, Take it up with her. " Tiānshî spoke bluntly before practising the downward strike the Instructor had described as he stormed over to her and spoke forcefully.
" Mind your tongue little girl. " The Instructor paused as the recruits and other Instructors immediately stood at attention before a gruff voice filled his ears.
" Or what? You will make her do push ups? Make her run around the barracks while hitting her with a stick? She is already more warrior than you will ever be. "
" And who are you to sa... " The instructor froze as he turned to see Sun Ce glaring at him menacingly. " Lord Sun Ce! My deepest apologies my lord! "
" Save your apologies for someone with the patience. You, Girl, Come with me. " Sun Ce turned to walk away as Tiānshî spoke.
" Firstly, Call me girl again and I'll hang you from the palace rafters by your testicles. If you have any. I have a name. Even your royal ass should try using it. And secondly, Shang told me to train here with the other recruits so why would I follow you anywhere? " Tiānshî had an impatient look on her face as the recruits and Instructors looked at her with horrified looks on their faces.
" You have a serious amount of brass for a brat that Lu Xun dragged out of the Wei dungeons. I like ferocity in a woman. If you get tired of little boys like Lu Xun, Feel free to come and see me. For now however, To answer your question, You should come with me because despite my sisters suggestion, My father has commanded that you train with us. He feels that training with the generals will teach you much faster than learning with the footmen. If you have a problem with that, Take it up with him. Otherwise get your ass in gear. " Sun Ce smirked as Tiānshî blushed brightly as a mixture of embarrassment, Discomfort and enjoyment crept over her face before she regained her composure, Sheathed her blades and followed Sun Ce quickly before the Instructors or recruits could say anything.
As they walked toward the palace, Tiānshî spoke calmly. " What did you mean when you said little boys like Lu Xun? "
" It may surprise you to know that Lu Xun is not only younger than you but has never been in love before. " Sun Ce sighed softly before he stopped walking and spoke seriously. " Don't misunderstand me, Xun is like my little brother. But when it comes to women, He has never shown much interest. Until you. I have never seen him so ready to protect someone the way he protects you. Those of us who know him personally find it rather unsettling. My father in particular. "
" Why? Inexperience with women doesn't seem like a point of concern. " Tiānshî spoke coolly as Sun Ce chuckled.
" It's not the inexperience that unsettles us. We can't for the life of us figure out why he is so protective of you. That is what unsettles us. " Sun Ce sighed again as Tiānshî spoke.
" I cannot offer you an explanation but I can say that he told me that he can't help it. He doesn't understand his feelings and that until he does, He doesn't want to do anything about them. " Tiānshî spoke calmly before continuing to follow Sun Ce.
" That does nothing to remove the unsettling feeling and won't do for my siblings or father either. Until we can get a definitive answer, You should expect us all to be quite cautious of you. Don't take it personally though. " Sun Ce smirked as Tiānshî giggled softly.
" That's fair. For now I will let you all think about it on your own. I have other priorities. " Tiānshî spoke calmly but had an air of impatience about her as the continued to walk toward the palace. After several minutes, Sun Ce and Tiānshî walked through the palace to the rear courtyard where a small training arena was set up. As they approached the arena, Sun Jian looked toward Tiānshî with a saddened expression.
" That armour... " Sun Jian walked over before speaking softly as Tiānshî looked toward him. " Where did you find that armour? "
" In the armoury. It was beneath a large cloth right at the back. " Tiānshî spoke with curiosity as Sun Jian sighed softly.
" That was once the armour my wife wore in her younger years. " Sun Jian had a sad yet joyful look in his eyes as Shang Xiang walked over quickly.
" I thought it looked familiar. That armour belonged to mo... " Shang Xiang paused as Sun Quan's voiced erupted across the small arena.
" TAKE THAT ARMOUR OFF! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO WEAR IT! " Sun Quan stormed over quickly with an outraged look on his face as Tiānshî spoke softly.
" I apologise. I did not know the armour belonged t... " Tiānshî stopped as Sun Quan shoved her roughly.
" I SAID TAKE IT OFF! " Sun Quan stepped forward slightly as he drew his sword and pointed it toward Tiānshî. " I WILL NOT TELL YOU AGAIN! "
" That is quite enough Quan. " Sun Jian spoke calmly as Sun Quan growled but as he motioned to speak again, Sun Jian rounded on him with a cold glare and spoke sternly. " I SAID ENOUGH! You will not speak again. "
Sun Quan looked taken aback before storming into the palace in silence. After a moment, Sun Jian turned back to face Tiānshî as he spoke slowly. " It does my heart the world of good to see that armour again but at the same time it tears at my very soul with grief and despair. "
" I can put it back... " Tiānshî spoke softly before Sun Jian smiled.
" No. It suits you little one. You are much the same size as she was when she wore that armour. Take good care of it. " Sun Jian smiled again before walking into the palace as Shang Xiang spoke.
" He is right. It does suit you. Wear it until you have outgrown it. That however is a concern for another day. Ce and I will be training with you since father and Quan have wandered off. Step into the arena. " Shang Xiang watched as Tiānshî stepped into the arena and drew her blades. After a moment, Shang Xiang nodded to Sun Ce. As he stepped into the arena, He pulled two large Tonfa from holsters on his back and entered a combat stance.
" Many instructors will tell you that you can only be taught so much before you require a situation where you can practically learn. We generals feel differently but rarely have a chance to train recruits ourselves. So to meet my fathers requests, We are skipping basic training. While I think basics would have benefited you before throwing you in the fire, My father thinks otherwise. So, You will spar with Ce. I will offer instruction as you fight. Begin. " Shang Xiang raised her hand as Sun Ce smirked and rushed forward as he struck with his Tonfa. As Tiānshî blocked, Sun Ce spoke.
" Don't hold back. Show me all the rage and hatred inside you. Show me you are worthy of my mothers armour. " Sun Ce spun and kicked Tiānshî in the side of her stomach, Forcing her to tumble across the arena. As she stood, Rage burned in Tiānshî's eyes but she had a focused look on her face as Shang Xiang spoke.
" Watch your opponent carefully. Learning to read someone is like learning to read a book. Each movement is a page in the story of your survival. How the story ends is up to you alone. " Shang Xiang watched closely as Tiānshî's eyes darted across Sun Ce's body quickly as she spoke. " Each muscle flex, Each flinch, Each twitch is a portrayal of further intent. It is on you to determine that intent and anticipate it with your own. "
Shang Xiang walked the edge of the arena slowly as Sun Ce charged. As he lunged forward and swung his Tonfa, Tiānshî blocked and spun, Slamming her elbow into the side of his head, Forcing him to step back slightly as she darted forward and stepped up on to his knee before flipping backward and slamming a hard kick into his bottom jaw, Knocking him off his feet. As she landed, Tiānshî raised her guard and watched Sun Ce carefully as he stood and smirked before Shang Xiang spoke.
" Good. Anticipate what your opponent intends and plan ahead for your actions. Perspective is everything. Both in and out of combat. Learn to see multiple situations at once and act accordingly to the most favourable outcome. Then learn to adapt on the fly and change your plans based on the course of actions that happen. Every situation has an outcome but also has variables that will change it. You cannot predict what will happen nor can you know what you will do when it does but having a keen perception and perspective will give you an edge. " Shang Xiang spoke calmly before Sun Ce once again charged, This time moving to sweep Tiānshî's leg as he held his Tonfa in a stance that readied an upward strike.
As Sun Ce slid along the ground, Tiānshî again darted forward, This time stepping on to Sun Ce's leg and rolling over him as he struck, Blocking his strike with her swords crossed, Before landing, Spinning and lunging forward in a roll. As she rolled, Tiānshî caught Sun Ce's shoulder with her leg and flipped him before pinning him with the tip of her blade under his chin.
Sun Ce smirked as Tiānshî stepped back and let him up before he spoke with a tone of impression. " Not bad. You're a fast learner. "
" I have to be. While I would have trained with the soldiers willingly, I really don't have time to learn the normal way. I can't spend weeks or months figuring this out. It has to be now. " Tiānshî sighed softly as the look of rage in her eyes faded and was replaced with a look of pain and heartache.
" I was right. You are a warrior. " Sun Ce spoke softly as Tiānshî looked toward him slowly. " War changes you. It takes all that you are and shreds it down to every last fibre of who you are. While you haven't been to war, You have suffered just as much, If not more through torture. You understand pain in ways many others never will. But it is like a poison. It is slowly killing you from the inside. You need to open up and let it out. " Sun Ce stood before he placed a hand on Tiānshî's shoulder but looked taken aback as she quickly recoiled from his touch.
" I... I can't... " Tiānshî looked away as tears built up in her eyes. " I can't let it go... It's all I have... "
" No. That pain is not all you have. You have strength, Conviction and determination in there as well but you let the pain drown them out. You need to let go. " Sun Ce once again placed a hand on Tiānshî's shoulder as she spoke softly.
" But how do I do that... The pain is all I can feel... All I can hear... The memories won't go away Ce. They won't ever stop. The pain won't ever stop... " Tiānshî cried softly as Sun Ce turned her around and hugged her gently.
" I know. But that doesn't mean you will never heal. Pain was all you knew and felt for so long that it became normal. But we can all teach you that there is so much more that you can feel and experience. Love and kindness as a start. " Sun Ce held Tiānshî gently as she cried before Shang Xiang walked over and wrapped her arms around the both of them as she spoke.
" You might be new here but you will see. You belong with us where you can flourish and grow. Just give it time. " Shang Xiang smiled as Tiānshî sobbed softly.
Three Days Later
The coalition forces overlooked the field of battle at the endless tide of yellow. After a few moments, Tiānshî noticed Sun Jian glaring toward Cao Cao. As Tiānshî approached, Sun Jian spoke sternly.
" As much as I would see him suffer, We cannot confront Wei in this battle. " Sun Jian smirked as he turned to look at Tiānshî. " So instead, Let him watch you bathe the field in blood and fill him with fear. Show him your wrath and fury. "
Tiānshî silently fumed as she turned her attention toward the Yellow Turbans and drew her blades before pacing back and forth. As she paced, Sun Jian turned to Yuan Shao.
" Are you willing to humour me? " Sun Jian spoke with a grin as Yuan Shao examined Tiānshî for a moment.
" Colour me intrigued. I agree to your terms. " Yuan Shao signalled the rest of the army to stand down as Sun Jian leant forward and whispered softly into Tiānshî's ear as she stopped pacing to listen.
" Show us who you are. " Sun Jian grinned as Tiānshî exploded forward without hesitation, Running toward the Yellow Turbans as fast as her legs would carry her. As she ran forward, Laughter filled the air from the Yellow Turban army before the front lines charged toward her. As they collided, Tiānshî screamed in rage as her blades cut a swathe through the Yellow Turbans. Each direction presented her a new enemy, Every kill served to slate her thirst for blood.
Each turn, Each swing a new thrill that electrified her senses and intensified her need for vengeance. Driven by rage and hate, Tiānshî carved carnage and death as the Yellow Turbans endlessly charged toward her. Even as arrows flew past her and a few managed to find gaps in her armour, Tiānshî found herself lost in the endless rage and bloodlust that drove her.
As Tiānshî continued cutting down the Yellow Turban soldiers that approached her, She heard a voice as a more important looking soldier approached her.
" You are skilled, I give you that. But you will die here little girl. Surrender and I will give you a merciful death. " The Yellow Turban general spoke gruffly but had an air of arrogance to him before Tiānshî spoke.
" You know... When I first arrived and saw your army, I feared there were too many of you. But now... Now that my rage and hatred drive me, I fear there may be too few. " Tiānshî smirked as she darted forward and slashed downward in a cross with her blades. As he motioned to block, Tiānshî shifted her stance and swung upwards, Slashing across his chest before moving on as more and more soldiers charged toward her as the General pulled his ruined splint armour off before charging toward her from behind.
As Tiānshî dodged, The general spun and landed a kick into her stomach, Forcing her to fall backwards. As she stood, Tiānshî growled loudly as a malicious aura emanated out of her.
" You... You are no normal soldier... " The general stepped back slightly but gasped as Tiānshî whipped her arm around and launched her sword toward him, Piercing the right side of his chest. As she walked forward and gripped the hilt, She spoke softly as a searing rage filled her eyes.
" You have no idea. You are all just dead men walking. " Tiānshî yanked her sword free of the generals chest before continuing onward.
As Tiānshî carved her way through the stream of Yellow Turbans, Yuan Shao spoke with horror in his voice. " This girl... She is a monster... A Daemon... "
" Perhaps. But she is also much more. Look at how her rage rises and falls like the tides. Look how even though she shows no fear, Even though she kills without hesitation or pity, She doesn't go out of her way to utterly annihilate every living thing she sees. " Sun Jian smiled as he watched the smoke that had clouded Tiānshî's spirit slowly fade away as she continued to fight.
" You speak to a much more deep and meaningful spirit and personality clouded by all that rage. What do you intend for her? " Yuan Shao spoke curiously before Sun Jian laughed heartily.
" She is not someone who can be controlled. I will offer her a place in my house. She is more than worthy of a family that can handle her. For now, Let's not miss out on the fun. " Sun Jian smirked before raising his blade and charging as the Wu army followed him toward the front lines.
As Tiānshî turned to see the army charging, She was hit across the face by a staff and knocked to the ground. " You filthy heathen! Your presence defiles this most sacred ground! You shall not interrupt our most holy sacrament! "
" That hurt holy man. I'll repay you in kind. " Tiānshî picked up her swords before rushing forward as the man spoke again and swung his staff.
" Pitiful little child. Who are you to challenge me?! I am Zhang Jiao, The chosen of heaven! Under my guidance, The Yellow Turbans will restore the land and bring the people together! Witness the miracle and behold the power of the Way of Peace! " Zhang Jiao hit Tiānshî across the face again as she motioned to block, Knocking her to the ground again. As she stood, Tiānshî spoke sternly.
" Men like you are all the same. All you want is power and control. But you will fail. " Tiānshî rushed forward but as Zhang Jiao swung his staff again, Tiānshî ducked under it and slashed upwards, Slicing through Zhang Jiao's stomach and chest as she spun and stood upright. As Zhang Jiao fell to the ground, Tiānshî ran toward another group of soldiers. As she got closer, A streak of red surged past her as she realised that Shang Xiang and Sun Ce had arrived to fight with her.
After dispatching a few soldiers, Sun Ce turned and looked toward Tiānshî. " You didn't think we would let you have all the fun did you? "
" The leader is dead. At least I think he was the leader. He spoke like he was. Just need to clean up the rest now. " Tiānshî grinned as Shang Xiang giggled softly.
" Don't let us stop you sweety. You still have rage to burn. Go burn it all. " Shang Xiang smiled as Tiānshî ran past her and engaged another group of soldiers before Sun Ce spoke.
" Don't forget sister, Whoever kills the fewest pays for drinks tonight! " Sun Ce laughed as he crushed a soldier with his Tonfa as Shang Xiang scoffed loudly.
" You just don't want to have to finally pay your tab at the tavern. But you will pay it, I am already ahead of you brother! " Shang Xiang smiled as she swung her chakram and sliced across a soldiers chest.
Several Hours Later
Tiānshî breathed heavily as the last of the Yellow Turbans were defeated before pulling the arrows that had found gaps in her armour out as she walked back to the main camp with Shang Xiang and Sun Ce. As they approached, Shang Xiang noticed Cao Cao walking toward them hurriedly. As Cao Cao approached, Sun Jian stepped into his path and spoke.
" I assume you have business with me or my children if you are in such a hurry. " Sun Jian spoke sternly before Cao Cao huffed.
" That bitch is my property. You will return her to me immediately. " Cao Cao spoke maliciously as he gestured toward Tiānshî.
" I see no proof that she belongs to you. Nor do I have any reason to give her to you. She is a guest in my house and will remain so until I find reason to allow her leave or give her reason to stay. " Sun Jian stood firm as Cao Cao fumed.
" You have no right to her! She belongs to me! You WILL return her to me! I command it! " Cao Cao drew his sword as Sun Jian growled gruffly.
" Watch yourself boy. Your army took quite the losses in the battle. Mine did not. Do you really want to wage a war over one prisoner? Surely you have enough concubines to keep you busy without the need of one girl too young for you anyway. Go home Cao Cao. " Sun Jian turned and walked away as Cao Cao growled and shouted.
" FINE! KEEP THE FILTHY BITCH THEN! I WOULD ONLY HAVE HER KILLED ANYWAY! " Cao Cao stormed off as Sun Jian shook his head.
" Impertinent fool. " Sun Jian spoke before walking over to Tiānshî and smiling as she bowed deeply.
" Thank you my lord... I do not think I would have been able to deal with him right now. " Tiānshî smiled before taking off her helmet as Sun Jian stepped forward.
" I now see you little one. You have all the ferocity and spirit of a great dragon and all the rage of a daemon. You are new to this life and yet you jumped into it with no hesitation or fear. You are a true and very rare treasure. " Sun Jian petted Tiānshî's head gently as she smiled. Before she could speak, Sun Jian continued. " I would be honoured to count you among my children. If you would choose so, I would welcome you as my daughter. "
Tiānshî gasped as she looked at Sun Jian. " I... " Tiānshî paused for a moment as tears built up in her eyes and she dropped her helmet before she simply rushed forward and hugged Sun Jian tightly. After a few moments, Tiānshî stepped back and wiped her tears away. " To have a family again... I didn't dare dream of having such happiness again. Thank you so much. "
" Then welcome to your new family my daughter. Bring us all honour and make us proud. " Sun Jian smiled before hugging Tiānshî lovingly. As Sun Jian stepped back, Shang Xiang tackled Tiānshî and hugged her tightly.
" I am so excited! I have always dreamt of having a sister! This is going to be so great! " Shang Xiang giggled and nuzzled Tiānshî's cheek for a few minutes before helping her up as Sun Ce and Sun Quan walked over to them.
" Welcome to the family sis. " Sun Ce grinned before hugging Tiānshî tenderly. As he stepped away, Sun Quan stepped forward but held up a hand as Tiānshî motioned to speak.
" Allow me to apologise. My behaviour toward you was dishonourable and unnecessary. You are more than worthy of our mothers armour and it is an honour to call you my sister. " Sun Quan smiled warmly but looked shocked as Tiānshî surged forward and hugged him tightly.
" That means so much to me Quan. Thank you. " Tiānshî smiled brightly as Sun Quan stepped back and tousled her hair gently before Tiānshî spoke.
" I am overwhelmed by all this... I think I need some alone time to process it all. Can I borrow your tent Shang? " Tiānshî looked toward Shang Xiang who smiled happily and nodded before taking hold of Tiānshî's arm and dragging her toward her tent.
