Chapter 12: The Aftermath of Yorrichi Vs Ingrid.

"You fought WHO?!" Asagi questioned shocked of what have been reported by Rinko, Yukikaze and Yorrichi.
"I have fought the Hell Knight named Ingrid. She serves under Edwin Black." Yorrichi told her calmly with a blank expression.
Asagi had to process everything of what was told. So Edwin Black the Vampire Lord is interested in having Yorrichi to his side yet Yorrichi refused which was the right thing to do. But what amazed her was that Yorrichi straight up went head to head with Hell Knight Ingrid. Who is rumored to be the SECOND strongest Hell Knight in the dark world and also very formidable swordswoman on a higher level on par with her and Rinko combined and possibly a certain steel witch.
And Yorrichi was able to defeat her Unscathed?!.
"And you spared her why? Do you know that she is Edwin Black's second in command of Nomad! And the kind of crimes they do? Such as rape and torture!? How could you let someone like that get away from your grasp?!" Asagi questioned sternly looking at Yorrichi who's expression did not change the slightest.
As there was silence in the office. Rinko, Tatsuro, Sango and Yukikaze all glanced at Yorrichi wondering what was going through his mind since his expression remained blank.
"Yorrichi?" Asagi spoke
"I spared her because I sense good in her and that she is just a misguided soul." He answered as those in the room had to process what did he mean by that.
"I don't follow? What are you saying?" Asagi asked trying to understand what did he mean by that.
"While she is a servant for Edwin Black I think she will come to realize that he doesn't care about her and that she is just a Tool or pawn for his own gains.. I just have this feeling that there is GOOD in her. She will open her eyes.." He answered as there was silence.
Asagi narrowed her eyes looking at Yorrichi.
"I hope for your sake that you are right. Yorrichi-san. But I highly DOUBT it. But when the opportunity of you and her fighting again you are to capture her and bring her here to be tried for her crimes and transgressions on the human world. Am I clear?" Asagi would say with a sigh. Seeing him nod.
"You all are dismissed. Thanks for bringing this to me." Asagi told the group as they nodded and left leaving Asagi alone to her devices.
She folded her hands together in a calculating way.
She wondered how was Edwin Black reacting to the defeat of his right hand subordinate defeated by Yorrichi.
"Just what are you Yorrichi?" She asked herself. Not only did he slay the incubus King but defeated a Hell Knight? What more could he do and accomplish?
Everyday here in gosha Academy there is always talks about Yorrichi. New and current Taimanins until this day are inspired to become like him and admire him very much. The villagers and people feel safe with him here.
Children here would mimic and play as "Yorrichi" doing their best impressions of him and his sword-breathing styles.
As if he is a Beacon of Hope.
She would get requests from hundreds of clients wanting Yorrichi for various jobs and escorts. Given his reputation.
Asagi smiled. It even warmed her heart that even she is charmed by him...
She's going to have some workers commission a Mansion or Castle for Yorrichi which would be the Tsugikuni Clan Castle.
( Nomad HQ)
"Ingrid lost?" Edwin Black says facing Oboro with a stern expression mixed with concern.
"Yes. The Sun Taimanin defeated her right now she is in our infirmary Black-sama recovering from her injuries." Oboro told him as in the room Kirryu and Fulst were present.
"Hmph! Look at how the mighty have fallen!" Fulst commented.
"Well this is shocking. Who would have thought she would lose to him. Must be pretty embarrassing don't you think?" Kirryu would say looking smug and pushed his glasses up.
Edwin Black was silent. As he felt very concerned and he didn't know why. It surprised him that Ingrid. His right hand woman.. and most trusted subordinate defeated by the Sun Taimanin. She lost to him and failed her mission in which he knew was inevitable.
Ingrid was never one to fail him. She never has.
And hearing this greatly concerned him.
"What will you do about this Failure Black-sama? Will she be punished for her failure and defeat? Or demoted?" Oboro asked with a vindictive smile in hopes Ingrid gets one of those. She also hopes she gets to punish the hell Knight in her own twisted way.
Edwin was still silent thinking on this.
This suddenly got the attention from Oboro, Kirryu and Fulst.
"Lord Black?" Asked Fulst raising a brow at his Lord and master.
Looking to all three of his executives he frowned.
"She will get no punishment." He says catching the three off guard.
Wha-What? But Black-sama she lost to the sun taimanin and failed her miss-" Oboro tried to say but was cut off by her master.
"I will not punish her. Or even demote her. I believe her defeat to him is enough punishment." He told them as they all exchanged glances at one another then back at Edwin.
"So what now? What would happen if word got out that she's been defeated by this Sun Taimanin?" Fulst asked knowing that if word got into the dark world about Yorrichi defeating Ingrid who is supposed to be strongest hell Knight. More demons and possibly the demon nobles' fear will increase for the Sun Taimanin.
"We do nothing. It's out of our hands if it ever reached. I'm full certain that the Chancellor of the dark world is already somewhat aware of her defeat." Edwin would say with his hands folding as they knew that was inevitable.
"But the Question still stands Black-sama: What can we do to kill someone that has the literal power of the sun!? It will only be a matter of time if that Bitch Asagi sends him to us and you to destroy! Him killing the incubus King was one thing but he could possibly kill you too!" Oboro would say in great concern for her Lord.
"I agree with Oboro. What can be done about him? Every day he is becoming a threat and the denizens of the dark world.. Other demonic factions and tribes' fear for him will be immeasurable." Fulst would add in his two cents.
"A Suggestion if I may?" Kirryuu spoke making them turn to him.
"What is it?" Fulst asked
"While he is unbeatable and can't be turned to our side.. I was thinking we could get a sample of his blood." Kirryuu suggested as they now looked to him in attention suddenly catching on.
"Are you suggesting to clone him?" Oboro asked with disbelief
"Its worth a try. Think of it. By creating our own "Sun Taimanin" he could be a loyal weapon to us. Mixed with demonic blood. Not only will he be a extraordinary asset to us but we can use him to take over the dark world! You will be crowned as the new Demon King Black-sama. With the replica of Yorrichi at our side! And if successful we can use the Yorrichi Replica to kill the REAL one and have him topple the Taimanins defeating them one by one!" Kirryuu would explain with others seemed intrigued by the idea even Black seems to like this idea.
"Wait a minute. While I love the idea of cloning that bastard and make him extremely loyal to us. But how exactly can we get his blood? He's untouchable and very fast. Ingrid hasn't been able to touch him!" Oboro would point out since she witnessed it.
"I could send drones. Drones to monitor his missions and if he ever got injured in a fight I will immediately have the drone to take a sample of blood he would leave behind and once that is done I can immediately get to work on the clone and the drones can record all his fights with enough data I can download and implant it into the replica!" Kirryuu would explain once again.
"Interesting… I'm on board with this." Fulst would say
"So am I. Knowing that if we had the real one he would have been harder to control." Oboro would say
Edwin seemed to like this idea. If Kirryuu's replica becomes a success. He may have to replace Ingrid. She can still be useful for the time being.
"Can this be done Kirryuu? Can I trust your project to be a success?" Edwin asked the mad scientist who smirked
"Absolutely." Kirryuu answered
"Then it's settled. You may start sending your drones. For the time being we will focus our energy and time on this Replica of yours Kirryuu. Do not disappoint me." Edwin Black says with sterness glaring at the Scientist who nodded
"As you wish." Kirryuu would say with a dark smile.
(Nomad Hospital)
Ingrid would lay down on her stretcher. The moment she reached HQ she collapsed and went into shock. She was immediately sent to the Nomad Hospital for intensive care given her injuries from Yorrichi.
She looked up at the ceiling..
She wondered is Black-sama coming to check on her? What will be his reaction to her failure?. What will he do to her? Will he punish her? Demote her?
She was worried… as she thought about the gorgeous swordsman who defeated her. Replaying his words into her head along with his reasoning for sparing her.
"Beware of Black. For all I know that in spite of everything you done for him, eventually he'll betray you. You may not believe me. But my instincts tell me this could be true."
She felt conflicted.. Confused.. She didn't want to believe such a possibility could happen. She's been loyal to him.. She's done everything he's asked.. Even done things that she herself didn't like. While it is true she isn't downright twisted and vindictive as Oboro is…
She didn't like the torture method of Rape within nomad.. Upon any human being or taimanin she is against that.
Her gaze softened and clutched her bandaged chest having the the image of Yorrichi facing her..
His expression and everything about him is so gorgeous… and majestic… she could see compassion behind that blank expression of his..
He spared her… because she's just a misguided soul?
"Just who are you.. Yorrichi Tsugikuni..?" Was her thought wishing she knew more about her Gorgeous swordsman.
(Mizuki Clan Castle)
Mizuki Shiranui was just told by her daughter of what transpired. She had heard of Hell Knight Ingrid and heard of the woman's reputation.. along with her being a HellKnight and servant of the Vampire Lord Edwin Black.
Her surprise grew when Yukikaze told her that Yorrichi not only defeated Ingrid but he spared her?
When asked why he told her the same thing he told Asagi.
"I'm glad that the two of you. Came home safe. I already have Zenki preparing dinner." Shiranui would say looking at her daughter and Yorrichi.
"Thank you Shiranui-san." Yorrichi would say bowing as he would walk to his room.
"Man. Yorrichi-bro is amazing mother. Just how did you get so lucky in finding him?" Yukikaze asked her mother who blushed and giggled.
"He truly is amazing. He never fails to amaze me or anyone else that he is able to do the impossible.." Shiranui replied facing her daughter. Like Asagi she believes Yorrichi is a beacon of hope for them.
Hope to fight the demons of the dark world and kill the demon nobles who are far too corrupt and evil.
"I wonder who else will marry him? I know Rinko-chan is marrying him." Yukikaze pondered she only sees Yorrichi as a brother. He's like the big brother she never asked for. She is happy that her brother saved her mother from the incubus King and she greatly respects him.
"I wonder too…" She thought.. Hoping there is a place for her in his heart.
Maybe she can treat him to something like maybe go on a date. That would mean she would have to confess her feelings for him..
Maybe tomorrow she and him can go out ibtobtbe city and do something together… just the two of them.

I can see some of you aren't happy that Yorrichi didn't kill Ingrid. Just because she works for Edwin black and his organization that rapes women and other taimanins If you read her profile in the Taimanin Wiki its stated:
"she is reasonable and intelligent but remains loyal to Black's direct orders, despite her own views. Her moral standards are overall rather high, but she will put those feelings aside to do her duty without hesitation. Furthermore, she is against the rape and torture that Nomad is known for, even when it is against Taimanin that are her enemies. Regardless, she has also demonstrated to be relentless in her pursued if she is suspicious of foul play or betrayal, she had been willing to torture in such cases or extract memories by extreme means. However, Ingrid never does so with sadism or joy on her mind, thinking about it as necessity for Nomad's sake and stability."
It States she is against rape and such.
Also she's just as much as a victim like Asagi and everyone else. If you read what happens to her in Taimanin Asagi 3.
Yorrichi will likely see Ingrid again during the Hell Knight Ingrid Hentai plot where he has to save Murasaki along with revealing Edwin Black's true Colors.
We are moving to the Steel Witch Annerose Plot and Carla Cromwrell Arc.
