Evie is so anxious that she's already tidied up and messed up her entire hair collection waiting for Mal to come out of the bathroom.

"Mal could be pregnant?"

Carlos dares to break the silence.

"Maybe. We'll have to wait." Is it possible that Evie is more anxious than when she discovered hers? "Where's Jay?"

"Call Lonnie. You complain about me, but at least I don't fight with my girlfriend all the time."

Carlos explains.

"What happened this time?"

"Shang is angry because he thinks Jay should be there with Lonnie. Jay still thinks it's stupid for her to dispute the kingdom with her brother, if she has a life here and the rest is a couple thing."

Carlos gossips about his brother's life.

"Do you think it's possible for Jay to go there? I mean, move to Northern Wei?"

Evie supports him going, but it will be difficult not having him around.

"I think it's difficult."

"Impossible. He's just playing the bad boy, he misses Lonnie."

Carlos explained the gossip, which gave Mal time to come out of the bathroom

"Mal? Mal, what's up? Mal?"

Evie asks, expecting an answer, but all she gets is silence. She won't get any answers from there, so she goes to the bathroom to look at the tests.

Four positive and one negative.

"What are the chances of that being wrong?"

The little purple girl asks with great surprise and disbelief.

"I'd say one could be wrong, yes, but four? Honestly, I think this is the wrong one." She points to the negative test.

"Evie has to be wrong." Mal is already showing signs of breathlessness. "It can't." Mal speaks in a crisis. "Let's go to the doctor..."

"Mal, I think..."

Evie tries to be rational, but Mal isn't listening to anyone but herself at the moment.

"They're not accurate, I need a blood test, right? Blood. A blood test."

She says hurriedly, interrupting Evie, who is exchanging worried glances with Carlos.

"Mal..." Carlos tries some convincing techniques, but the queen's cell rings, and she has to answer it. "Is there a problem?"

"I'm late for a meeting." She snorted like she did when she was a teenager. "I have to go. Evie won't tell anyone, okay?"

"Okay."

Obviously, Evie is worried, but Mal is indomitable. He needs a break, at least for now.

Enchanted florest

Last night

"Tea?" Nanny offers her sister, who nods and sits down next to her. "These cups were Mom's, remember? She shows her the silver porcelain."

The two sisters are not close and don't see each other every day. Even today, with Nanny needing help all the time, it's rare to see the familiar scene.

"Did you have the same dream as me?"

The Fairy Godmother asks directly about the point that made her leave the house in the middle of the night.

"Yes." She sips her tea. "I know you think my conscience isn't so good, which is not entirely a lie, but these days I remember everything and I always know what's going on. Which is rare."

"I don't understand. I lost that ability years ago, you know that." Helena talks about having dreams. She lost this gift before with her wings. "It can't come back, right?"

"I don't think so, but it might be possible. I mean, it was the Queen who took it from you, right? But my old age has come too, and I haven't seen the future so clearly for months."

"You've seen the future? I was talking about the dream."

Nanny wasn't going to discuss this with her, so she thought it's best to change the subject.

"Well, I don't understand the baby's cry and I know you know what it is, and you won't tell me. Fine, but what about the book? Why him after all these years?"

The Book of Fairy Tales is a book that has been written for years. It's as much a mystery as seeing the future is to them. The book won't stop in one person's hands, no wonder they don't even know who it's with at the moment. All the tales are there, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and more. Even before the poisoned apple or the glass slipper, the book already existed. It clearly states when Maleficent put Aurora to sleep and White's stepmother became the Evil Queen, just as Nanny and Helena had already seen.

The book stopped being written with Rapunzel. Other kingdoms appeared later, but the book only went so far. It was a relief to know that it had finally stopped and now people could live their lives without demarcations. This object brought too much confusion at the time, when Grimhilde unwittingly read a tale to her stepdaughter and saw what would happen. Years later, Queen Snow White warned Nanny about the book.

"I don't think it's him." Nanny thought. "The book closed, remember? It stopped with Queen Arianna's daughter and that Gothel disaster. I think a new tale is being written."

"A new one? Impossible, if we don't even know who started it."

"Impossible? In this world, Helena? I don't think it's a Fairy Tale, because those are gone, there can't be another Aurora or Ariel. I think they're new stories, you know, new princesses have appeared. The Ice Queen or the one who lives in the sea, what's her name again? Moana."

Helena is surprised that her sister knows about the recent news.

"I honestly don't know what to think, it frightens me that something like this will come back. Agatha came back after years and look what happened."

"If what Jane told me is right, she only came back because of your mistakes. I always said it was silly, let the woman be happy with the king."

"How could you not be affected?"

"Enchanted Forest, remember? Helena thinks that something good comes, but something bad too. I wanted to see the whole vision, but I couldn't." Nanny remained silent for a few seconds, and her sister saw her eyes go blank again. "How's Mom? She went to talk to Clarion this morning." Again, the memory fails. Helena knows she'll be like this now. Her sister only came back to say this and again returned to her unconsciousness.

United States of Auradon

At the moment

Mal is in a boring business meeting about royal budgets, and obviously his mind isn't there. Think of earlier. Pregnant? How is she pregnant? Her as a mother? Mother? She reflects on how she doesn't think she's cut out to be a mother, a queen or a king's lady. Her life is already a constant mess. Mal walks on chaos, but now there's this addition.

"Mal, what's up?"

Ben asks, touching her cold hand.

"What? Yes, did I miss something?"

She asks her husband, not knowing exactly where she is. Ben has suddenly snapped her out of her thoughts, and now she's confused about reality.

"Mal is looking pale. Are you okay?"

"Do you mind if I leave?" He denies allowing her to leave. "I'll see you tonight." She kisses his cheek and leaves the building.

"Okay."

Mal remembered something. She's half fairy and hates doctors. She needs another way to prove this pregnancy.

Connection

"Rash."

She calls an old friend.

"Mal?"

He answers, unsure if it's her.

"Rash, are you still at home?"

"The land of the mad? I'm still here."

"Can you come to Auradon?"

"I'm already here." The man who inherited Cheshire's cat powers appears in front of her smiling and is surprisingly greeted by a strong hug. "A hug? Why?"

"I need it." She left the hug to speak to him. "I need something, and only you can do it for me."

"Seriously, Mal. Confusion?"

Over the last few years, he's become a great friend and as much as he doesn't like many people, he considers her part of his family.

"What?"

"For you to call me that is confusion."

"You're one of the most powerful magicians I know."

"Yes, I am, but so what?"

"I want you to see something for me."

"What?"

He asks suspiciously.

"The Evil Queen's mirror."

"It's in the museum. You're the Queen, just show up and take it."

"Yeah, but for the mirror to work, you have to be from the Queen's family."

"Isn't your friend her daughter?" He looks at Mal and sees the frightened look on her face. "Maybe I can work something out. You don't exactly have to be family."

"Really?"

"Yes, the mirror or whoever lives there is a prisoner. First the queen's father, then a threesome of witches, then the queen herself, and now I don't know who lives there." He screams inside at having to do this. "Let's go before I regret it."

The two of them teleport to the Auradon Museum in minutes. Third floor, room 4 "Magical artifacts." Evie's broken mirror is stored in a glass case that Rashid easily broke through with a simple spell without being discovered or blowing the Museum's alarm.

"You're the best magician in the world, you know that?"

Mal thanks him, totally happy.

"I know. And what do you want to ask this thing? Whatever it is, move fast, because the guard is already experienced in sleep spells."

Mal of course talked about his first experiences with magic at the age of 16.

"I want to see something, actually."

"See? That's fine, but come on."

Mal took the object, took a deep breath and trembled at the question she had to ask.

"In the midst of this night, what is hidden brings light. The truth be unsealed and all is revealed."

Maybe it's the worst of her spells, but that doesn't matter now. Rashid sees her pointing the small mirror at her belly and is amazed at what she's doing. Even though he's afraid to stare, Mal looks at what the mirror shows.

And there's the answer she's looking for: pregnancy tests are real.

The image reflects her larger belly, nothing like the flat belly she has now. The mirror shows a large belly that can hold a baby.

Mal passes her hand over the void, which in the mirror isn't a void but a big belly, and she can't believe it, even though it's much clearer now. She looks at herself, analyzing her body, and then looks in a mirror that shows the truth so clearly.

All Rashid hearts afterward is "it can't be" and then he watches her fall to the ground.

"Mal?"
