"Do you think it will work?"

Fairy Godmother asks Rashid before performing the spell he asked her to do.

"I hope so." He confesses, wondering if he really wants to know the answer to his question. "Ready?" He looks to the fairy for the courage that he himself lacks at the moment.

"Bibidi-Bobidi-Bu."

Fairy Godmother casts the spell over the ultrasound machine so that they can see beyond what the object shows, that is, see the magic inside the baby.

"And off we go. Excuse me, Your Grace."

He jokes with Mal, who ignores his friend's good humor and quietly lifts the hem of his blouse. Basically, it's a normal ultrasound, but with the big difference that it's possible to see if there's magic inside the eight-week-old baby.

"Wow!" Ben says this in the silence of the room. Everyone looks at the king, not understanding where that word came from. "Sorry, it's the first time I've seen him, you know? The baby." The Fairy Godmother and Evie find the scene touching, but Mal and Rashid exchange glances that show how strange this is. " You can continue, Rashid."

"Okay." The wizard isn't very good at showing emotions and doesn't really understand them. "I've never done this, so it doesn't kill me if I don't get it right or..." He warns, already showing all the eagerness and anxiety he inherited from living with his family of Wonders.

"Rashid over there!"

The Fairy Godmother points to the screen, and all eyes go to the small illuminated spot. Inside the little baby is a tiny glowing light, which they don't know the color or size of, but it's there for sure.

"It's very small. Can that thing zoom in?" The Creature of Wonders pushes a series of buttons to see if it can see better. "Wow!" For a moment, he forgets that there are people around him and feels that he is once again surrounded by his magical books and diaries.

"What? What is it, Rashid?"

Mal asks nervously, wanting to know what only he and Fairy Godmother can see clearly.

"The good news is that your baby is perfectly healthy." Rashid knows that Mal can read his eyes, so he lowers his head to speak. "He's two months old, so anything we say now is reversible and..."

"Say it Rashid!"

Mal asks impatiently, and without realizing it, she squeezes her husband's hand harder than she should.

"Look, there's magic, and I'd say it's a lot for someone who hasn't even been born yet." Ben sighs and pulls away at that moment. "But we can't know, he's two months old. I think the best thing to do is to watch every step of the pregnancy closely until we can know exactly what magic is growing. If you want, I'll observe until I can see the source of his magic, which could be entirely from the scepter or from Mal."

"What about Mal?" Evie asks, taking her attention away from the baby. "She was very sick, the symptoms, what are we going to do? I don't think these signs are very normal, it must be the baby's magic, isn't it?"

"I think so, the best thing we can do is wait until we know where this magic comes from. I didn't have the best nine months when I was pregnant with Jane, either."

The Fairy Godmother says this, reassuring them as best she can.

" Yeah, the magic must have started to develop in him now. I think I know of some potions that should minimize some symptoms."

Rashid gladly offers them to Mal, who agrees.

"Then we'll do that. Rashid, you stay in the castle, I don't think an obstetrician is for Mal." Ben takes control of the situation and starts giving orders. "Take the room you want, the ultrasound machine is in the bedroom, and tell me what you need to make the potions, okay?"

"All right, I'll read more about fairies and babies." Rashid says this sympathetically and assures her that he'll be staying in Auradon. "Evie, Grimhilde was fantastic with potions, did you inherit the talent?"

The Evil Queen's daughter laughs, remembering her adolescence and the books she read secretly from her mother.

"Well, I never poisoned an apple, but I was very good at lessons in chemistry."

Rashid and she share a laugh, and together they begin to think about how to proceed with this part of the plan.

While they're all talking about what they're going to do, the one who's most interested in the subject gets up to wipe her belly.

"Mal, lie down, honey, you don't have to..."

Ben sees her getting up and tries to help.

" Leave me alone, Ben." Mal says firmly, and he sees her green eyes light up. "I'm not a child, and I can look after myself. Don't talk about me as if I can't speak for myself!" She shouts at everyone in the room, and for some strange reason, Rashid looks at the heart rate monitor that is still attached to on the girl's finger.

"Okay, you're right, Mal. Sorry."

Rashid says, watching her heartbeat accelerate.

"Okay." Ben plants a kiss on her forehead. "I love you, I'm sorry if I'm annoying you. We'll let you rest."

They all leave the room, leaving her alone to get some rest.

"I need to talk to you."

The Fairy Godmother waits for Rashid to say goodbye to Evie and then pulls him by the arm and takes him to a secluded part of the castle.

"What's wrong? Has something happened?"

He's known Helena long enough to know when something is wrong.

"I think there's someone who knows more about Mal's baby." She speaks quietly so that no one can hear. Lately, she's been afraid of evens her own thoughts. "You have to promise me secrecy."

He agrees, unaware of what she's saying.

Enchanted florest

"Where are we?"

Rashid asks when he sees that she is taking them to a hidden part of the forest far from the center. He hates having to use cars since he can teleport wherever he wants, but she made him do it.

"You swear you don't know where we are? You're spending too much time in the underworld, Rashid."

She laughs, looking for the house key in her bag.

"I know we're in the Enchanted Forest, I just don't know what we're doing here."

"My sister."

She says when they finally arrive at a hut in the middle of nowhere.

"Wait, The One of Legends? She's still alive? What do you mean? How come no one told me about this?"

He gets super excited when he hears this, almost like his "uncles" do at tea time in Wonderland.

"It's not just you who has your secrets, Rashid." She opens the house, still laughing at his excitement. "She doesn't like people knowing about her."

"All these years she's been here, who knew?"

Nanny disappeared so many years ago that he can't even remember when. What does it matter? Since Maleficent, she's never been the same. But in her heyday, the fairy was well known and admired.

"Look, first, I need to tell you that she's not the same, okay?" Faced with so much joy, the fairy godmother remembers to warn her. "She's very different from what you remember."

For a brief moment, Helena imagined she would find her sister lying in bed, delirious, but she saw something completely different. The good lady is sitting in her armchair with a book on her lap and quietly singing an old song.

"Is she singing Once Upon a Dream?"

Rashid asks curiously.

"It's a beautiful song, don't you think?" She says she's singing. "Aurora and Philip, such a real story, don't you think? It all started in a dream."

"What?" Fairy Godmother remembered her dream. "Did you dream it too?"

" Yeah, but you didn't come here for that." She interrupted before Fairy Godmother could continue talking. "Hello, Rashid, how are you all doing in Wonderland? I love that place, you know? It's more normal than this kingdom here." She hugs him as if they were old acquaintances. "Before Helena says it, my mind is wandering a bit, but not too much sometimes." She laughs mockingly.

"Don't worry, anyone who understands the Hare and the Hatter can understand anyone."

Like the gentleman he is, he kisses her hands, which makes her laugh, and Helena watches without understanding.

"You're right." She laughs at him and his attitude. "And those hands? A good spell would do the trick, don't you think?" She says this, referring to the iron hands he now has on the cat man.

"Can you still see the future?" He asks, astonished by such magic. "And believe it or not, I've gotten used to these iron things."

"How old do you think I am? I can't stand seeing tomorrow anymore, but I have a beautiful niece who tells me everything."

The two of them had a long laugh like old friends, which startled the sister, but the director of Auradon Prep was pleased to see her smiling.

"We've come to talk about something else." Helena said it matter-of-factly, and Nanny nodded so that she could continue speaking. "The king and queen are going to have a baby and..." She takes care with her words, fearing for the fairy lady's health.

"Oh, Helena, don't act like a child, Ben and Mal are going to have a baby. Go on."

She catches her eye as if they were still teenagers.

"And you know that Mal has magic."

"A lot of magic, by the way, Rashid. Congratulations on your work with the Apprentice's magic." Fairy Godmother just rolls her eyes in anger at being constantly interrupted. "Oh, I'm sorry."

"Do you believe there's any way this magic won't affect this baby? Nanny, do you think we can at any chance prevent something terrible from happening to all of us?"
