Survivor - Heroes vs Villains

Chapter 17 - Day 14 Part 2 & Day 15 Part 1

How ya doing again, folks?

So now that the tribes swapped, the competition could be getting even more intense. Sure, the pre-swap you could say from a gameplay perspective things were kinda slow until the Meta Knight blindside. Though perhaps we could call it... the downfall of the Heroes tribe or... something lol.

That being said let's see how things play out in this next phase. This chapter will finish after the immunity challenge.

La Vega

Day 14

Donkey Kong, Bowser, Yoshi, Wolf, Foxy, Golden, Springtrap

-/-

Alright. Right back to Las Ve- Oh, forget it...

Anyway, right back to La Vega. It was bright and sunny day on day fourteen of Survivor, and everyone appeared to be hanging out as time passed on. The lack of fishing gear on that beach lowkey played a factor regarding the group not having too much to do.

There was not that much camp maintenance to be done and even when people wanted to relax, the old Hero beach had no comfort except for the bed of bamboo. Long story short, all they really did was sitting down rotting away like rotten fruit.

...And yet, when the castaways were not just doing nothing, they were able to find some type of enjoyment.

Specifically, Wolf, Foxy, and Springtrap.

It was safe to say that those three found it to be a great opportunity to... show off.

Music: DK Rap (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)

Game: Donkey Kong 64

Starting with Wolf O'Donnell, who was motioning the camera to come his way, the producer behind it obeying his orders. He had a very flirtatious smirk on his face.

Perhaps this was a consequence of hanging around his best buddy, Panther Caroso too much.

Wolf was seen adjusting his vest (which he was not actually wearing a shirt by the way). And before anyone else knew it, the lupine began dancing smoothly in place, snapping along in the process. It was the way he was doing circular chest rolls as if he practiced for quite a while until he finally had his moment to shine on screen.

...Did he actually plan for it?

Whatever he had in mind at the time, he was occasionally pointing at the camera making sure all the attention was kept on him at all times, his dancing feet slowly spinning around not wanting to rush everything. It was all about taking it nice and slow and just groove, right?

Anyway, Foxy Michaels was up next.

No, not Fox McCloud, by the way... Was he worthy of a second chance, though? ...Ugh. That was a topic for another time.

He had much more a serious look on his face in contrast to Wolf. But hey, the dude probably meant business. Besides, of the three anthropomorphic animals, he was probably the least likely people expected him to be showing off like that.

His feet moved a bit quicker, yet still smooth at the same time, doing a full body spin at one point with a finger raised. Pretty soon he began bobbing his head grooving along, likely moving to some beat he was thinking of in his head.

...Why were they doing this? Perhaps it was something the ladies were fangirling over at home, yes. But,... what motivated them?

Mr. O'Donnell, care to explain?

"I mean, sometimes we're bored. Us dudes like to have fun a little. So as of this morning regarding myself, Springtrap, and Foxy, dancing has become our thing. My idea, of course. Only thing missing was the music, but we were still on point. By the way ladies, just so that you know,.. all three of us are single, including me. Hit me up. ...Bahahahaha!"

Poor Wolf did not know what he was getting himself into. Then again, he should have known better. He knew damn well how crazy fangirls were.

As for Springtrap, he was pacing around snapping a lot more aggressively than Wolf, his feet moving to the rhythm. At one point after doing a spin around of his own, he motioned the camera to zoom up close to him before he gave a simple wink...

...And then afterwards he lost his professionalism by laughing out loud about the whole thing. It was too amusing for him.

To top it all off, he had the audacity to make a kissing noise.

"According to Yoshi, Vector was still talking about the whole Reptile Runaways thing." Springtrap told the producer. "I'm surprised they are still going with it, even though it started as a simple secret alliance. But hey, watch out. Wolf, Foxy, and I can easily make a group of our own, so the Reptile Runaways should be threatened. The three of us make a great team, and I think we'll earn ourselves some more fans. ...What? Jealous? ...Okay, let's be for real. Cool Kids vs Reptile Runaways. Who would win? Pick a side."

From left to right, Wolf, Foxy, and Springtrap were walking in a badass fashion (in slow motion, by the way) as part of their grand finale, all three of them death staring at the camera. ...Were they really simply showing off to the viewers, or were they about to kill people? Oh no... Reptile Runaways probably needed to watch out. The Cool Kids were coming to threaten their popularity!

...Wait a minute... Cool Kids? Great! Another known alliance from the fourth season of Survivor! Though Val and Rodin were included with Springtrap in that season, most likely the only reason they were calling themselves the Cool Kids now because Springtrap was in it.

Foxy being the middle man was shown to have his arms resting on Wolf and Springtrap's shoulders.

"Wait a minute..." He shifted his head Kevin's way. "Cool Kids 2.0, then? ...Not gonna lie man, that sounds kind of um..."

"Like we can't even come up with a different name." Wolf answered for him snickering. "Perhaps the Cooler Kids, then."

"Fair enough." Springtrap confirmed. "Cooler Kids it is, but Cool Kids is gonna be our movement like a squad or something. Maybe Val can be the first lady. Those reptiles can do their own thing. Little do they know, we will be coming for all of their necks and ruin careers. We'll discuss this later when we get everyone in the Survivor community involved."

And then there was Strong Guys Alliance 2.0! Jesus Christ! All these different alliances coming up once again! Though to be fair, these three in particular at least did something to set themselves apart from everyone else.

"So I guess we're some sort of small boyband, now?" Foxy cocked his head to the side.

"Most boy bands are generic and boring, but the fans love of us enough that they know we would be an interesting trio with depth and maybe a rough edge." Springy figured. "It could pretty much work. We can all sing lead and have our solo moments, you can be the lead dancer, and me and Wolf can rap and sing at the same time."

"Best to keep it cool." Wolf snickered. "We aint gotta try too hard to come across that way, but we just need to remind each other we pretty much can't be anyone else but ourselves."

"Wolf and Springtrap are entertaining as hell." Foxy admitted laughing a little. "They clearly don't give a damn and I applaud them for it. And strategically it benefits me because it brings the three of us closer together. ...And to think I was waiting for the moment to kick Springtrap's ass out here! Ain't that funny! Speaking of being strategic, since we're in a comfortable majority alliance with Bowser, we need to have a target already on the chopping block since in the event that we lose, we would already know what to do."

"Let's do a little game talk while we're all here." Aww. They were all having such a good time and Foxy just had to go ahead and mess it up. "So there is the Villains alliance, and then there's the three of us."

"You think a hero should go next?" Wolf wondered. "...Even though almost half their tribe is gone?"

"Well Bowser is not really doing anything right now. You could argue that he's not part of this core alliance but as long as he trusts us for right now, we trust him. We strike now, we're breaking up the whole Villains team and I dunno if I wanna do that yet..."

"So for now it's a hero that's gonna be on the chopping block." Springtrap nodded in confirmation. "I'm fine as long as it's not me..."

"I'm gonna throw DK's name out there." Really!? First most of his allies were voted out of the game, now he had the possibility of leaving the game himself. That ape really never caught a break. "He's smart, and of the heroes we have here he is the strongest. I know he could win us challenges, but even if we lost both challenges until the merge, we're sittin' pretty, anyway."

"Cool." Wolf found no issue. "It's nice to have options. He's the most likely to blindside us with whatever tricks he has up his sleeve."

"Okay, he's a furry like us," said Springtrap. "but the only piece of clothing he owns is his necktie. What kind of sleeve does he have on him?"

He knew what his friend's point was.

As far as the Heroes' alliance was concerned, they had no idea where those three ran off too, and they knew Bowser lying on his back in the sun tanning... Did Koopas tan at all?

But the point was they decided to check in on each other again.

"I don't wanna go home, guys..." Yoshi could not have stop worrying since the moment they swapped tribes. "This is the exact same thing all over again for me because I was on the bottom of the swap in my season. But... I feel like I could really go home this time."

"You know what, I feel like it could be any of us going home to be honest." Golden assumed. "Any one of us probably has an equal shot. You're weaker than the both of us, DK's the strongest physical threat of the three of us, and I'm the safe option here in case they're worried about idols."

Umm...

"Well even if it's not me, I don't wanna lose either of you. A villain should go home next no matter what tribe goes to tribal so I'm... pretty much worried no matter who sees Master Hand next."

"I'm pretty sure we're all sick of seeing heroes going home." Kong summed up the thoughts of everyone. "Everything so far has been a personal repeat for everyone involved."

"And... look," Yoshi sighed shaking his head. "I know that things haven't been going well for you two, but we obviously need each other. None of us are gonna make to the end of the game like this!"

"I'm starting to like Donkey Kong and Golden more since I've spent more time with them. And even though we established ourselves in different alliances right before Master Hand shook things up, this could be something that can band us together if we just think this through. I'm getting flashbacks to what was happening around this time with me pretty much being in Val's shoes. But she's a much better speaker than me and that's how she was able to save herself when Joker got voted off. ...I... I'm scared..."

Valverde

Day 14

Zelda, Ridley, Shadow, Vector, Ryu, Shovel Knight, Specter Knight, Plague Knight

-/-

Unlike La Vega, Valverde actually had more things to do since the old Villains team won everything. But mainly, it was the fishing gear. Though it may not have been discussed about all the time in Survivor, the fishing gear was actually pretty useful and it really played a temporarily solution to the castaways' hunger problem.

That was right. If one needed to end world hunger, it was best to head straight to the ocean and just fish. Not hard at all.

...Well if only it was that simple to end a world problem...

But anyway, Shovel Knight was seen using a fishing pole with Vector adjusting a pair of goggles on his face before he made his way into the water. Hmm. Was he going to have any luck finding real life crocodiles? Bowser missed a golden opportunity when he was in the water the previous week.

...Wait, this was not Survivor - Mexico. Oh well. At least people actually witnessed real life crocodiles that time.

Shadow and Zelda were standing in the sand watching the two of them from afar, but the hedgehog in particular seemed to be more focused on Shovel Knight.

"...He can't go underwater?" He asked Zelda.

"I don't think he was against it." She shook in reply. "Shovel Knight is known to be always trying knew things. He probably just figured Vector was a much better swimmer and has a higher chance of catching something."

"You might be right on that." Shadow admitted. "...You know,... part of me wonders why Shovel is even here. ...Because people like him? That's it? ...Nothing else?"

That was when Zelda turned his way to give him a reminder. "Well, you did compliment him in your speech at the Final Tribal Council."

She was not wrong. If Shadow of all people liked Shovel Knight, it really painted a picture of how much positive feedback Shovel got from his fellow cast members.

"I mean," Zelda continued. "one of the reasons why Plague Knight is on here because he received much more of a negative reception from his peers. Not the number one reason, but it did play a factor of him coming out here again."

"At least Plague had game in him." Sonic's canon arch-rival brought up. "He had a bit of impact of how things played out in his season. We didn't even need to be physically with him to see it because everyone already knows what went down. We were literally with Shovel Knight because the three of us share the season, and even I can tell you that he didn't really do much gameplay wise. That's why I'm a bit puzzled to him coming back... Survivor ain't a popularity contest. It's a cut-throat game where everyone is trying to get to the top."

"Okay... But once you're in the final three, as much as gameplay matters, sometimes it is a popularity contest."

"..."

That was a good point coming from Zelda. "That's how Sonic won over Link. Link's gameplay you could argue was more consistent, but Sonic didn't make anyone mad. Mewtwo and Wii Fit were both mad at Link and Sonic burned less bridges."

"...Then how come Luigi didn't win our season? You and Marth both turned on me and then Marth flipped right back... after he voted me out from that alliance."

"Every jury is different." Link's friend blinked at that out of confusion. "That should be common knowledge. And by the way, you backstabbed our tribe alliance twice..."

"Hmph..." Shadow did nothing but roll his eyes. "I dunno. This game works in mysterious ways sometimes. Maybe it's my fault for not understanding how different people work in different circumstances out here..."

"People can be so damn complicated sometimes..." Shadow decided that it was time to make a small rant. "They just don't know what they want and at times they are just plain inconsistent. Okay. So Marth won our season, Emperors vs Knights. Luigi's butthurt fans for some reason thought that he should have won (even though he did absolutely nothing), and Zelda's fans figured that she should have gotten the money because she was the main underdog that season. But every last person on our jury voted for Marth and he won instead... And sometimes I get a little pissed off, because I feel like people are praising Marth for flipping when he did. But when I did it, I get backlash. ...It's stuff like that I don't understand. It is as if people have selective outrage towards someone, and don't know how to keep the same energy for everybody else..."

...Maybe Shadow was right. Not about his confessional, but perhaps he did not understand how different people worked in different circumstances.

"Every situation is different from the next, Shadow." Zelda told him. "Marth flipped because he was... basically trying to protect me in a weird way. Whether or not that was good for his game is more up to debate. And eventually I was able to rebuild some kind of trust with him. With all respect, people really didn't trust you from the start. Marth was more involved with his relationships with others while you didn't really bother to interact with people much... until you wanted something from them. Between Roy going home and you getting voted out, one of the few talks we had was when you wanted me to side with you to vote off one of Chatan Four. But other than that, you never really wanted much to do with me. On the other hand, after Marth blindsided me after he voted off Greninja, he checked in on me multiple times."

He was slowly growing annoyed. "So what do you want me to apologize for? For not having the personality of Princess Peach Toadstool? ...Again? Because I've brought that up before."

"It's not an attack on you personally, Shadow. That's not what this is about. It's just me telling you on what I think you need to hear. I just think that... you not putting enough emotional investment into your relationships played a factor in people not trusting you. When you only talk to people just because you want things from them, they're gonna see that as a red flag. And in all honesty,... one of the main things about you is that we... had a hard time getting to know you."

"I never thought I'd say this, but... I am growing rather concerned for Shadow. I don't know what happened at this camp before I swapped over with Shovel, Foxy is on the other side, and Sheik was just voted off. So I can't even go up to them and ask what's bothering him. I suppose he feels like he's misunderstood. By the time he got voted off in Emperors vs Knights, reception for him was rather polarizing. There were people who praised him, and there were people that disliked him from the beginning." Zelda shook again, not knowing what the actual root of the problem was. "I think what he needs to start doing is figure out a way to open up to others and try to form decent relationships. That could be a nice step for him. Hopefully that would help him not just for this game, but for him as a person. He clearly has some unresolved personal issues that needs some working on..."

Was it justifiable to somehow feel bad for Shadow? ...Even though he kinda deserved it? Perhaps the backlash he got after season two really got to him.

Moving onto Ridley and Vector. Ooh. Another reunion.

"I may not have known exactly what would have occurred for me if I was in the know of that, but I do think me not being involved with you and the rest of the runaways was a missed opportunity on my end. ...All because I was not interacting with people much?"

"Haha, yup!" Vector grinned nodding, the two them wandering along to no particular place. "That's what K. Rool said. Like, you would have perfectly fitted in. We really wanted to include you with us, Ridley, but you weren't being really sociable. We had no idea where your head was at the time so we kinda left you alone. Granted, you and I didn't really get along half the time, but... things definitely would have been different. I guess in your mind you were trying to figure out when to slit the throats of literally everyone."

"Scheming and plotting is a way to get ahead in the game. But obviously ignoring the social aspect of the game was my fatal flaw, something that I've realized around the time I was sent to Ponderosa. Meta Knight and I had a good talk, and... made me consider making some personal changes... But you and Meta know me than most of the other contestants, Vec. I can't change who I am, but... what I'm trying to do is to have myself being the one to approach others and have game talk whenever I can."

"Yeah, I get it." He completely understood. "Nobody can change you for who you are, but you have a strong mind for the game, so you're using that as your main strength. Thank you for taking the time to have a talk with me. I can already say that I'm getting somewhat of a different vibe than you versus last season."

"Ridley was another guy I bumped heads with. But if you were paying attention to my season, Ridley was kind of a problem regarding everyone he came across. The dude was kind of an ass to be around. Belittling people every chance he got, throwing temper tantrums after immunity challenges and taking it out on everyone that was breathing the same air as him, being a sore loser every time _ hit the fan? It's a wonder why he was shown a lot in the edit because he was a complete hothead!" And no, not the item from Smash. "So I guess now he's humbled himself a little bit and he's learning. I'd say that shows some kinda growth in him."

"So, what do... you think of the more stronger players that are out here on this season?" Ridley stopped where he was at and stared at Vector in the face. "Like me and you?"

"What do you mean...?"

"You, DK, and Golden are the strongest men of the heroes. You were one of the strongest players on our season. Do you feel like anyone has targeted you at all?"

"Not that I know of." He denied, now getting even more curious about what Ridley was trying to get at. "You think someone will put me on the chopping block for being a physical player? 'Cause I actually won't be surprised if that's the case. I've won challenges before."

"I didn't even have much of a chance to win any challenges since people were already willing to be rid of me..." But for the sake of Ridley's goal here, he had to push those thoughts to the side. "Do you think any of us strong folk have a shot at winning this?"

Vector folded his arms snickering. "Your guess is as good as mine. It's not as if anyone like us has won the game before."

"Which you are correct on that... Anyone in particular you are aligned with on your end? ...Or is it still just you and the rest of your old tribe?"

"Meh. It's the latter." No, Vector... That was not the whole truth. Vector had an alliance with Shovel Knight, Zelda, and Yoshi. Golden and Donkey Kong were both on the outs right before things got switched up. "I think it might stay that way until we get to the merge at least. Nobody had a chance to really do anything on my tribe yet since there were three easy targets to get rid of and Meta became a threat."

"That's not a bad assumption." Ridley glanced away. "...I suppose we'll talk later?"

"We will... Thanks again, man."

"I told Ryu and Bowser that we need to do our part and try to convince the three strongest players from the Heroes tribe to join our alliance. The strongest players remaining should consider on staying together for the sake of all of our games. Ryu and I swapped with Vector who I've played with before, and I was really trying to reach out to him. But I did not want to be too pushy, since I really don't know if this was even the right time to do that... At the same time after thinking over what he said,... something tells me that he might not be telling me the whole story. Your team has attended four Tribal Councils before the switch and Meta got randomly kicked off it seemed,... because he was a threat? He's consistent comparing to what he said when he first got here. But,... why was he a threat? What did he do? We know what they say about assuming, but I don't feel like Vector told me everything. It's fine. It really is, since if anything, this explains why I did not want to outright tell him about the Strong Guys Alliance on the spot. We started on different tribes and we just got back together yesterday. But in the chance that I need his vote in the future, he would be a good number for me to have. Perhaps there would be more strategy talk between us soon whenever the right time comes..."

Day 15

"Come on in!"

For the first time in a long while, both teams were coming together at the same time. Heroes being mixed in with the Villains meant the theme was officially broken. Post-swap vote outs always had the potential to be some of the most interesting boots of the season.

But the bottom line was that whoever made it to the next phase of the game each had a moment to really think about what was going to be on the table for them next.

"Alright. You guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?" Master Hand asked everyone. "First things first, I will take back individual immunity."

That being said, he made his way over to Springtrap and Donkey Kong, making them give up their right to be guaranteed safe at Tribal Council. ...How dared he? Master Hand had no right to do that! He was putting their lives on the line!

Wait, he was the host of the show. He had every right to do stuff like that to his castaways. It was part of his production after all.

"Individual immunity will come later. Tribal immunity is once again up for grabs." And he pulled out the tribe idol once more. "For today's challenge, one person from each tribe will be your caller, while the rest of the tribe will be blindfolded. The remaining members will be running in twos tied together as they climb through a difficult rope obstacle. Once they are done, they are going to go through a maze where there will be three stations that will have three sandbags for each tribe for each station. Once you all get out of the maze with all nine sandbags, you will all take off your blindfolds as the caller goes through the obstacles themselves and through the maze. From there, you will use slingshots to knock down five targets."

"First tribe that finishes win immunity, safe from the vote. Losers, Tribal Council where somebody is going to be the sixth person voted out of Survivor - Heroes vs Villains... In addition,... you're playing for a reward."

What else was on the line?

"The winning tribe will earn..." Wait for it... "Cookies, brownies, and... everything you need for tea and coffee."

Oh, for Galeem's sake-

"Woah!"

"Star Spirits..."

"Seriously!?"

"Oh, Goddesses!"

That was without a doubt the best reward of the season thus far.

"Iced or hot. However you like it."

Okay, so sugary sweets and fancy drinks. The castaways might as well have gone to a coffee shop or something. Yet since they were playing Survivor on a random island, they had to stay where they were until the season was finished. But on the bright side, everything was brought right over to them.

"There ain't no way we're gonna lose this..." Not in the name of Chaos according to Vector.

"This is perfect..." Springtrap mumbled under his breath.

"Taking a brief look at history, Donkey Kong, Bowser, and Wolf all did this challenge in their season after we went from two tribes to three tribes. They were all on completely different teams." Master Hand recalled. "There was even an extra twist where the first tribe and only the first tribe avoided Tribal Council. Donkey Kong was the caller, his team won. And all three of you who participated in this challenge are on the exact same team today. Let's see what happens."

Basically, if they were the losers, it was going to be really embarrassing.

"Valverde, before we get started, you have one extra member. Somebody must sit out. Who's it gonna be?"

Vector turned to the smallest member of the team. "Plague, you're going?"

He heaved a quick sigh and was already turning to make his walk over to the bench. "There's no puzzle in this, so you all don't need me today. I'm on my way over there..."

Was Plague talking as if the team was never meant to gain much by him participating in the challenge, or was he trying to sound as if he was more useful than everybody else on Valverde because he helped his team win a previous challenge that he participated in before?

"Plague Knight is going to sit out. Everybody else, I'll give you guys a minute to strategize, we'll get started."

Time to see who was going to be the caller. La Vega?

"Bowser, wanna do it?" King Kong asked King Koopa. "I don't mind if you do it because you were a caller as well."

"But you won. I don't mind if you go ahead and do it." He pointed with a grin. "I was forced to go to tribal a couple days ago since everybody had to see the master, but I'm not planning on going right back."

"My team never won immunity though, so I've no plans to head back there myself. If you feel you could do a better job, please step up."

"Ladies, ladies, please." Wolf placed hands on both of their shoulders. "You're both pretty. Rock, paper, scissors, and that's it."

"Who's leading?" Ridley asked his teammates on Valverde. "Any volunteers?"

...

"...You're a great leader in your regular life." Ryu slapped a hand on his back in support. "You do it."

"Alright, then."

-/-

"Alright, we have our two callers. It is going to be Donkey Kong for La Vega," Paper covered rocks. "Ridley for Valverde. For immunity and reward. Survivors ready?"

Ready to get to work.

"...GO!"

"STRAIGHT, BLUE! STRAIGHT! STRAIGHT!"

"FORWARD! FORWARD! FORWARD! FORWARD!"

"Two big guys with loud voices being the callers for their teams!"

"You're telling me." Plague Knight exhaled from the bench. "I'm actually glad I'm not the caller on this one..."

Oh, right. Plague was a caller before. Though the challenge was slightly different.

"FORWARD! FORWARD! STOP! CLIMB UP!"

"ALRIGHT. UP, UP, UP! CLIMB UP!"

"Both callers are making their teams climb up and over the rope rather than head straight through! Smart strategy out of the gate just like the last time we had this challenge!"

"OKAY, CLIMB ACROSS AND DON'T FALL OVER!" Donkey Kong ordered.

"HEAD ACROSS! JUST HEAD ACROSS!" Ridley barked, both callers cuffing their mouths with their hands. "DO NOT FALL OFF!"

That was right. It was important for no one to fall over and hurt themselves. Otherwise, somebody would have needed medical and the challenge would have been possibly cancelled. Oh no!

"OKAY, CLIMB DOWN SLOWLY! NO RUSH!"

"GET DOWN! CLIMB DOWN!"

"NICE AND EASY!"

"Both tribes are neck and neck out of the gate finishing up with this rope obstacle!"

"DOWN, DOWN! ...OKAY! WE'RE GOING TO THE MAZE, NOW!"

"NICE JOB! WE'RE GOING IN! STRAIGHT UP! KEEP IT MOVING!"

La Vega and Valverde all held onto each other as they made their way towards the big maze. That was really going to be the part where communication was going to be put to the test. Who was going to do the best job? Sure, Ridley was a real life leader on Zebes. But the fact that Donkey Kong was the caller when he first performed in the challenge in Kodai Island and his team winning balanced things out.

Once everybody made it to the maze, people began to separate. Man... What if this was the Great Maze like in the Subspace Emissary? If that was the case people would have never gotten out of there if they were blindfolded.

"OKAY, HERE WE GO. WOLF AND YOSHI, I WANT YOU TWO TO GO LEFT!"

"ALIRIGHT. EVERYBODY LISTEN TO ME CAREFULLY. SPECTER AND SHOVEL, HEAD STRAIGHT UP!"

"When you're a caller in this challenge, you got to find a way to directly communicate with your tribe while at the same time trying to figure out how this maze works."

"SHADOW AND RYU, HEAD TO YOUR RIGHT!"

"FOXY AND BOWSER JUST GO STRAIGHT! YOU TWO ARE GONNA HAVE THE LONGEST ROUTE TO GO!"

And Ryu was going to be the first casualty of the day, him bumping into the maze as if he received a punch in the gut.

"Oww!"

"WOLF AND YOSHI KEEP GOING! ALMOST THERE!"

"SPECTER, SHOVEL, STOP! STOP!" Ridley shouted as long as he could have. "GRAB THE BAGS. YOU'RE AT THE BARREL!"

"Okay, just grab it?" The shovel wielder asked the taller knight as they both began to feel around. "Right in front of us, right?"

"I got them. Here. Take one of them."

"Specter and Shovel have the first three bags for Valverde."

"Come on, come on..." Wolf mumbled under his breath, him at the first station as Yoshi. "Yoshi do you feel any- Okay, I got them."

"Wolf and Yoshi have the first three bags for La Vega."

"KEEP MOVING, GOLDEN AND SPRINGTRAP!"

"I guess we have the longest way to go." Zelda said to Vector, waving his arms around like he never used them before. "We're gonna be wandering around for a while..."

"WALK! WALK! WALK!"

"Ow!" Shovel bumped right into the maze with his chest.

"SHOVEL JUST KEEP WALKING!"

"...!?" Wow, Ridley. What a way to have concern for the rest of the teammates.

"Ow!" Foxy groaned in pain grabbing his leg. "That was my foot!"

Master Hand might have had to send medical for at least half the cast by the time the challenge was finished.

"Oh, a barrel..."

"NO! NO!"

"What...?" Springtrap spoke out of confusion.

"THAT'S THE WRONG ONE!" Oh, he got it wrong. Poor Springtrap... "IT'S THE OTHER ONE! KEEP WALKING A LITTLE BIT!"

Ridley was beginning to notice how close Shadow and Ryu were to the two FNAF characters. Their barrels were right next to each other.

"RYU, SHADOW, WALK FASTER! FASTER! RUN! RUN!"

The two of them had no idea why they needed to run, but they blindly followed his orders anyway out of trust. Yet upon doing so, they ended up slamming right into Golden and Springtrap. The ambush was so out of nowhere Ryu actually managed to knock Springtrap over. Shadow on the other hand was not nearly as tall as Fredbear, so because of him having more weight he remained standing despite stumbling a little.

"What the _!?" Obviously he was irritated by the sudden 'attack' from Ridley's team.

"What was that about!?" Golden asked.

"GOLDEN, HELP HIM UP!" Donkey Kong was pissed off at the other caller knowing it was a hundred percent intentional. "THE BARREL IS RIGHT THERE!"

Plague Knight on the other hand was laughing his head off with his body all over the sit out bench.

"Ridley being aggressive with his team but Shadow and Ryu now have their second set of bags!"

"He does realize that kinda hurt us as well, right?" Ryu asked his tribe member. "I didn't expect to run into a giant rabbit who is at least six feet tall..."

"It's Ridley we're dealing with. And you know what, I don't know if I would even blame him."

Maybe because Shadow figured that he would have done something similar if he was the caller?

"Springtrap and Golden have their second set of bags for La Vega! Both tribes have one more set to go!"

"I can't hear Ridley at all." Zelda shook her head out of annoyance. She felt like herself and Vector were simply wandering around aimlessly for no reason. "Can you hear him?"

"Barely... RIDLEY?"

"Ridley, we can't hear you!"

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP AND JUST KEEP GOING!"

Vector took in a deep breath and exhaled. "Yep. That's Ridley, alright..."

"KEEP WALKING, BOWSER AND FOXY!" Donkey Kong leaned forward a little, his voice beginning to sound tired out. "KEEP. WALKING. IT'S GONNA BE UP AHEAD."

"Guess we're just trying to get out of here, now..." Yoshi commented, Wolf nearly pulling him along.

"Well he's not really telling us where to go and now I'm worried I'm gonna bump into some- Ow!"

Right in the gut!

"La Vega and Valverde each have one pair that has yet to find a set of bags. And the pairs that do have bags are trying to find a way out of the maze. How good are Donkey Kong and Ridley at multi-tasking?"

"I got you." Golden was walking with Springtrap. "Let's try to not bump into anybody else from the other team..."

Then all of a sudden there was a barrel shown in front of the camera before it got slapped on both sides by Vector's hands.

"Ooh, it's this one. Here..." He gave one of the bags to Zelda. "Alright, you ready?"

"VALVERDE HAS ALL THREE SETS OF BAGS!"

"ALRIGHT, WE'RE MOVING OUT. VECTOR, ZELDA, FORWARD! EVERYBODY ELSE KEEP GOING!"

"BOWSER, FOXY, ALMOST THERE! KEEP MOVING! IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!" Donkey Kong knew he needed to get the last two members of his team going.

"We gotta hurry up. They're already done."

"He says we're almost there. We can catch 'em." Foxy told Bowser, not wanting to panic. He began to feel around until his hand hit a barrel. "Oh, right here. This is it!"

"FOXY AND BOWSER HAVE THEIR SET OF BAGS FOR LA VEGA!"

"I'M GOING TO GET YOU ALL OUT OF HERE! BOWSER, FOXY, TURN BACK AROUND! ONE EIGHTY!"

"SHOVEL, SPECTER, TURN RIGHT! RIGHT! ...SHADOW, RYU, STOP! STOP! YOU'RE AT A DEAD END!"

Plague Knight began to pout. "Hurry up! The other team is going to beat us!"

"STRAIGHT AHEAD, ZEL AND VEC! STRAIGHT UP! WALK! WALK! WALK! ...OKAY, YOU'RE OUT!" One pair down for Valverde, two more to go. "RYU, SHADOW, CLOCKWISE! TURN CLOCKWISE!"

Both voices of the callers were really starting to strain.

"ALMOST THERE. MOVE! MOVE!" And Foxy and Bowser were officially out. "YOU'RE DONE! SPRINGTRAP, GOLDEN, KEEP MOVING! WOLF AND YOSHI TRY TO SPEEDWALK! FORWARD! FORWARD!"

"OKAY, RYU AND SHADOW, YOU'RE DONE! SPECTER AND SHOVEL YOU'RE GETTING THERE!"

"Valverde has one pair to go. La Vega still has two pairs left."

"WOLF AND YOSHI KEEP GOING! WALK! WALK!"

"I have a feeling they're almost where we are..." Springtrap mumbled to Golden. "Think DK is doing that on purpose?"

"Donkey Kong seems to have an interesting strategy going." Master Hand commented. "He's trying to get the rest of his tribe together. My guess is that so it could be easier for him to guide his team. ...But he has to hurry!"

"ALMOST THERE! ALMOST THERE!" Ridley yelled Specter and Shovel's way.

"...PERFECT! YOU ALL HOLD ONTO EACH OTHER AND WE'RE GONNA FINISH THIS! EVERYBODY TURN LEFT! GO FORWARD AND MOVE FAST!"

"Specter Knight and Shovel Knight getting closer..." And soon enough they met up with the rest of the red team minus the caller himself. "You're through! Do not take off your blindfolds! Now Ridley himself has to get through the course!"

Immediately jumping down from his platform, he raced off into the maze. No, there was no way for him to fly above it. Technically, he could have. But obviously that would have been a problem for everything.

Golden, Springtrap, Wolf, and Yoshi in that order were holding to each other for deal life trying to right balance between focusing on Donkey Kong's demands and each other.

"Ridley whipping through this maze." In spite of him not being able to fly, he was running as if he finally had the chance to do so after a long time.

"Run, run, run! Hurry up! Go, go, go!" Plague Knight was doing a little coaching of his own. He just loved telling people what to do. It was his favorite hobby aside from all that science work back in Shivaland.

Yet the dragon accidentally approached a dead end, meaning he had to quickly turn right back around. "Damn it!"

"Golden we're almost there?" Springtrap asked his fellow FNAF member.

"I'm not feeling any bars anymore..."

"ALMOST THERE,... THAT'S IT! I'M COMING DOWN!"

"La Vega is through. Donkey Kong needs to hustle! Let's go, DK!" Master Hand cheered on, the ape wasting no energy at all as he was on all fours for this one. At least he was behaving like an actual gorilla. "DK and Ridley have the advantage of being able to see what they're doing. The only thing they would have to deal with are the dead ends in that maze. DK could possibly catch up Ridley without making any mistakes..."

"I hope he does..." Yoshi mumbled, still blindfolded with the rest of La Vega.

"Getting closer, Ridley! Come on! Hurry!" There was no use quieting Plague Knight down, was it?

Ridley was about to approach another dead end, yet he quickly realized what was up ahead and turned in another direction.

"Ridley's almost through, but Donkey Kong is still in this!"

And a moment after that statement came from Master Hand, the ape reached a dead end in the maze, quickly turning on his heel to try another way.

"Come on, come on..." Ridley mumbled to himself. But within a few more moments, he finally reunited with Valverde.

"You're through, Ridley. Valverde, take off your blindfolds!" commanded the master.

"DK, hurry up!" Bowser spoke out.

"I'm coming, guys!" And he was. He was nearly finished so La Vega still had a chance.

Once Valverde unloaded all of the sandbags, Ridley was ready to take action.

"Let's go, Ridley..." Ryu folded his arms. He was forced to attend tribal once and he had no plans on going right back there.

"Ridley's gonna fire... Gotta land five targets and that's it. Immunity is yours."

The dragon launched as the sandbag flew through the air... yet it was a little too short of landing on that first target.

"Just misses!"

"I'm here!"

"La Vega, take off your blindfolds! La Vega can start shooting!"

"You're going first?"

"I'm going." He answered Bowser, immediately getting right to work with his first sandbag while leaning in as far as he needed to.

"DK could take the lead right here..." A blue sandbag shot right across... only for it to miss by a couple inches. "DK is just short. This challenge is neck and neck right now."

"Just do it! Come on, Ridley!" Plague Knight, shut up!

"...There we go!" Zebestian managed to score.

"Valverde has one target down. Four more to go! DK shoots!"

Please score...

"And he connects! Donkey Kong scores the first point for La Vega!"

Both men were seen simultaneously pulling back. Ridley like the last time was able to launch first...

"...Yes!" Zelda clapped her hands cheering.

"Ridley connects again for Valverde. Three more to go!"

"Alright, three more! We can do this!" Foxy Michaels wanted to win so bad.

"La Vega has three targets left! This is getting intense!"

Wolf's eyes instantly shifted to his opponents with absolute fear.

"You can do this, DK..." Yoshi spoke softly. "We can still win."

"You know we need this immunity, Ridley." Vector told him. "I hate losing just as much as you do."

The space pirate launched yet again.

"Ridley... just misses!"

"Ridley, do you wanna switch?" The crocodile widened his eyes in concern. "I can do-"

"I got it, I got it! I need to go in deeper..." If he insisted...

"Donkey Kong is gonna launch. Can he put La Vega in the lead?" Come on, Donkey Kong. Land it. Land it! "...Yes he can! La Vega has now landed three targets! Two more to go!"

"Bowser, come on."

Koopa raced right to the slingshot to take Donkey Kong's place.

Specter Knight remained frozen in position with folded arms. "If you need to switch, one of us can go."

"I can land this..."

Did he really think he had enough energy in him to do it, or did he want his ego to show a little more?

"...Ridley connects target number three! We're tied again!"

The Metroid villain locked eyes with Vector. "Go ahead..."

Ooh. So he was able to humble himself when he needed to, after all. Win for the team, Vector!

"Vector's gonna give it a go!"

"Bowser going in deep... There it goes... Can it land?"

...Nope.

"Bowser misses! Vector..."

"...Yes!"

"We got it!"

"Good job!"

"-connects with the fourth target. Valverde has one target left and they win immunity!"

Golden curled his lips as he began to feel quite a pit in his stomach.

"Bowser, you can do it..." Springtrap had his hands on his sides. "Just keep your aim..."

"Bowser launches once again... And he connects! La Vega only has one target left! It's gonna come down to the wire! Who's going to hit their last target first?"

"You got this, Vector..." Ryu watched as the croc was ready to fire.

"Vector launches... can he do it?"

...

"VALVERDE WINS IMMUNITY AND REWARD!"

"Oh, Goddesses!" Zelda dashed right up to the man and hugged him as well as other members of the team, Ridley heaving a great sigh of relief.

"Finally!" Shovel Knight was elated, Vector sitting down right on his behind (not his tail).

"Oh, Chaos. We aren't going back to tribal!"

On the other side, La Vega obviously was not happy at all.

"Oh my God!" And it was unlike Golden to be super upset at anything with that sudden outburst, pacing around shaking his head in great disappointment. Poor guy... If he of all people lost his composure, there was a serious problem.

Yoshi heaved a great sigh hanging his head down. "You've got to be kidding me..."

"Hmph..." Wolf crossed his arms with a frown. "Wow. I think that beach might be cursed. No wonder you all lose a lot..."

"I wasn't as fast as him, guys." Bowser shook his head at the result. "Sorry..."

It appeared that Mr. ILostEveryImmunityChallengeInKodaiIsland was going right back to see Master Hand.

"Finally getting a break over here..." Vector was being helped to his feet. "Now we got a nice reward to go on top of it."

"Valverde, here you go." With a series of claps, the Master Hand gave the immunity idol to Master Hand, the Team Chaotix leader taking it proudly and even holding it high in the air.

"Took a long time but we've finally won it."

"You all can come grab you reward." He pointed to everything they needed in order to have a more decent camp life. "You have some sort of a coffee maker, a thermos for iced coffee, cookies, and brownies. Have fun with it."

As they all took a part of their reward and began their walk out of the challenge area, half of La Vega did not even want to eye their way. Four of them were mad they had to see the Master Hand once again after they just visited him for the first time. Yet three of them by the looks of their faces were pissed the hell off. They were downright tired of going to Tribal Council all the time.

The one thing going for them was because of the double elimination thing where everybody had to go to tribal any way at that point, Bowser's record was not going to be broken.

"La Vega, I got nothing for you but a date with me tonight at tribal. One of the seven of you will be going home. Head back to camp and I'll see you tonight."

"This is officially the most cursed beach in Survivor history..." Golden did not even know what to think. "I just don't understand. To think we would have had some kind of hope now that things are all switched up, and again, we came just short... How am I going to win Heroes vs Villains if I can't ever win anything? No matter what we do, we just can't ever close the deal. It's insane..."

Okay, I am generally concerned for Shadow here... He's really not having a good time, it seems. I'm getting worried...

Entertaining scene regarding the Cool(er) Kids. Not saying they would actually be real life groups in the music industry, but um... suppose they were?

I even pictured a couple songs for each of them if that was a reality. Perhaps for the Reptile Runaways (specifically K. Rool, Vector, and Charizard), "Let's Groove" by Earth Wind & Fire (classic song from the 80s), and maybe for the Cool Kids, Single (Remix) by New Kids on the Block & Ne-Yo. Just a thought. Hmm...

Anyway, La Vega loses. Again. At least three of the original Heroes are on the other team. But the other three members have to go right back. And DK and Golden have been underdogs from the very beginning. They might as well be two of the most unlucky players in the history of Survivor and we're only at the final fifteen! Things can't ever go their way this season!
