Mr. Moon woke Harriette up early enough so that she could head out. She put on her cardigan and skirt and tights. The paint was still drying so it wasn't safe for her to be in their room. She'd already expected that so she'd collected some of the lights she planned on handing out to her friends.

Moon helped her sneak to her first vent there she slipped through to meet up with the first friend. She met up with Cammer, one of the TinyMusic-men that made the pizzaplex's vents home and was excited to receive the green clover shaped lights Harriette picked out for them. Mr. TinyMusic-man got yellow stars. Mesh liked pink and flowers, so Harriette knew she'd like the ones she picked out. Daisy and Chicken were given a set of yellow and blue flowers. Most were plant or star shaped actually. Harriette kept some of the blue and yellow stars for her room she'd been debating at first but Mr. Sun said she could have both. She also offered Tinsel, Flr. Rubber Band and their security bot friend a set each. Though they were kept at their hideout where Tinsel's nest was. Harriette helped set up the lights, then headed over to El Chips to Let Marnie and the other restaurant staff know that she was okay, and wouldn't be coming by as often. Marnie still asked if she needed a lunch, since she had another dropped order. They ate together and Harriette shared the lie. She made sure to leave before any security people came by. She trusted very few of them.

Harriette headed back into the vents. She met up with more of her TinyMusic-men friends, helped out with some of the other staff bots. The day seemed to stretch on for a very long time. She was excited to see what their room looked like with the freshly painted and dried walls. Harriette was excited to start helping decorate, they'd talked about how they could make flowers for her shelves, how they could make frames for her pictures. There were so many cool things that they could do. She was so excited for it. Harriette sighed waiting for the message that would let her know it was safe to come home.

The message finally came and she rushed back home through the vents, greeting her various friends and arriving home to greet her D-Mr. Sun and Mr. Moon.

"Hallow, Pumpkin," Mr. Sun said. Harriette waved coming over to him, he scooped her up instantly and she couldn't stop herself from giggling as she hugged him. "Ready to see how the room looks?" Mr. Sun asked. She nodded, eagerly. "Okay." He hooked them to the hook and took them up to their balcony, then Mr. Sun carried her inside. They looked around. The blue had ended up a purply. That made since the blue had been watery. Still it looked nice.

"It looks great!" Harriette said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Yeah," Mr. Sun said. "It's beautiful." He sounded really happy. He looked to Harriette and they shared a silent joy with each other. Sun nuzzled Harriette with his faceplate and Harriette nuzzled back, both giggling in joy.

The next step was to getting the lights back up. It was a lot easier and they ended up putting more up around other areas to brighten up the space. Mr. Sun sorted out more boxes for them to look through. Harriette had picked out the clothes she could wear, and Mr. Sun had packed the rest away for later. Since Harriette was going to grow into some of them.

"I'll get you one of those clothes racks from the costume room," Mr. Sun said, while they were working on making picture frames for Harriette's art work and the one photograph of all the daycare kids. Since the blue paint all the chips Harriette and Mr. Sun hung all the pictures on the same wall in something like a colleague.

When Mr. Moon tucked her into bed, they were almost done with the colleague, and they'd made several of the pipe cleaner flowers that she'd decorate her shelves with.

"Night, Harriette, Love you," He booped her nose and she grinned.

"Night, Mr. Moon, Love you and Mr. Sun too." She closed her eyes and fell into a contended dream.

Once Moon had finished up his first Patrol and cleaned up some in the daycare. Only half heartedly. It took everything he had not to go up to their room and get to work on his and Sun's surprise for their little charge.

I know, but we gotta do our job, Sun's tone was barely held together, restraining his own desire to just encourage Moon to drop these pointless busy work tasks.

We're doing good, Moon said. We have time. Moon checked the clock. The time showing just that. It was barely past closing. It was fine. They both sighed, wiping down the tables. Okay! That's good enough! Sun's excitement was nearly palpable, and too loud. Moon chuckled.

"Alright, Alright, Sunshine," Moon said, heading up to the balcony. They entered quietly. Looking at the little girl who was curled in around her plushies and sleeping with a small smile on her face. Moon had to take a picture. Once again wishing they had a real camera. They were really going to have to ask for one from Monty. Moon had never understood why parents took so many pictures of their kids, but now he got it. When kids were cute they were too cute, you wanted to try and remember those moments.

Yes, our kid is cute now we gotta make sure she has cute clothes! Sun said, bursting with excitement. Moon had to force down a chuckle. His partner was being cute too.

Alright, alright, Moon thought back. What colors do you think she'll want?

I don't know, she seems to like pink, and yellow and blue, Sun said thoughtfully.

Those are a good place to start, Moon said thoughtfully, looking to the small fairy lights Harriette had chosen, the way she'd chosen to decorate the picture frames they made together. Harriette likes sky themed things; clouds, stars, the sun and moon. She liked spiders, and spiders would do. She liked plants too, but Moon didn't have a good reference for what real plants looked like. Sure he was allowed a lot of craft and random fact pages on his and Sun's network, but that could only get them so far. Honestly it was the same with the stars and clouds and everything. It wasn't wise to just make arachnid themed items either, since a lot of people had arachnophobia.

Still, Moon got to work. The first thing he did was take in the waist on the pair of Harriette's shorts, they were boys shorts, and clearly hand-me-downs from a much larger child, once he'd made them closer to Harriette's size he added flowers, and some clouds the for good measure a version of the sun. He held the shorts out. They were still clearly meant to be boys shorts, but the scene definitely made them more girly. Stitched the cardigan up to be more Harriette's size, and added some dark blue stars in the spots he couldn't get rid of the stains.

Satisfied with the start, he'd ended up missing some patrols, but Sun logged them as done anyway. Manipulated some of the photoage too. A message over the main company channel, not quite a report but it got dangerously close.

'I didn't see Moon on his patrols?' Mike complained.

'Huh, neither did I,' Carter said.

'What's the point of patrols if we all patrol the same place anyway,' Sun had commented. 'Honestly we could have just done a camera patrol and gone over to deal with any messes there.

'Yeah, what's the big deal?' Monty grumbled. 'Moon is fast enough to patrol the whole thing on his own. What are you even here for?' Monty sent over the private bot forum they'd created under the system.

'What gives? You usually try to fuck with the guards.' Monty asked.

'Are you two okay?' Bonnie asked.

'Do you guys need space, or are you just salty about the companies refusal to give you your own body?' Roxy asked.

'Do you need comfort food?' Chica asked. 'Or is that just me?' She sent a meme of her eating garbage. Which Moon almost laughed out loud at.

'Don't make me laugh, I've got- things I'm dealing with,' Moon said.

'Ominous," Foxy sent forward.

'Please tell me you are not planning something too… what would the word even be…' Freddy said.

'Stupid,' Monty said. 'The word your looking for is stupid.'

'I was trying to find a nicer word to use but I suppose that is the most accurate," Freddy said.

'We're fine,' Sun said. 'And stupid is my middle name!'

'No it's not it's evil mastermind' everyone else said. Various forms of capitalization and syntax and punctuation.

'Now what are you planning?' Monty said. 'I want in.'

'I doubt it, but we'll keep your volunteering in mind,' Sun said. 'Hey, by any chance do you think you could get us a camera?'

'Are you planning to frame Mike for something, 'cause I already tried,' Monty said.

'Well your not an evil mastermind,' Sun said.

'Fair,' Monty said. 'When you need it?'

'When can you get it?' Moon asked.

'Eh, I mean, like any time tomorrow work for you?'

'YES!' Sun sent.

'Okay, but what are you going to do with the camera?' Chica asked.

'Lots of things,' Sun said.

'Ominous,' Foxy said. Moon hung up Harriette's clothes and started adding stitching to one of Harriette's old torn shirts. He half wanted to throw it away but he worried that might upset the little girl. He added a little spider to the spots that were once wholes. It wasn't much but Moon thought it was cute.

It's adorable. Sun stated flatly.

Shouldn't we finish fixing up that staff bot, Moon teased. They were waiting for a specific part.

Aurgh, don't remind me, Sun complained. It's not fair how they treat those little guys.

You'd think it'd be more expensive to keep replacing them.

Right! Sun grumbled. Ridiculous.
