Sirius screamed at Kreacher, hitting Kreacher. Harriette shouted out trying to pull Sirius off of Kreacher.
"Get off!" Sirius shouted, Harriette flew. Something crashed. The two men stopped turning to look at the child. Blood, broken glass.
"Harry," Sirius said.
"Stay away from her," Kreacher grabbed him. Harriette put a hand to the cut on her forehead, then turned to look at them, a bruise blooming on the left side of her face, rage in her bright green eyes. Sirius froze. Harriette grabbed Kreacher's hand and pulled him away. Kreacher's hand still clutched Sirius's gloved hand, pulling the cloth and himself free.
Harriette ran, breath coming in hard little puffs. She wished she could just teleport home. She ran even harder, blood and tears mixing as she tried to run faster. She hated it there. She hated it. She wasn't going back if it killed her. She pulled Kreacher along with her. Trying to teleport home, the bracelet tightened, it hurt so bad that she stumbled falling. Scraping herself up in the process. She still scrambled to her feet. She ran to the alley she saw and ducked into its shadows, tears rolling down her face as she collapsed. Tears and pain and anger and blood mixing together in a hot painful mess. She sobbed. Looking over her scraped hands, the skin was red, and Harriette's insides peaked out from behind the scraps of ragged skin. She sobbed, clutching them to her body.
"Harriette," Kreacher said. "We need to-" Harriette swallowed, shooting to her feet and rubbing the wet from her eyes. The blood was mostly clumping her hair together.
"Come here," Harriette said, firmly. "Please." she added. Kreacher stood. "Here," She said, pulling her jacket off. "You need to wear something to hide. Nobody really looks down enough to see your feet. Keep the hood up." Harriette said, trying to put the coat on. Kreacher hesitated a moment before letting Harriette slide it over his arms. "We'll have to take the bus. I know where we can get money, so we can get out of here." She tugged him along by the hand. "I won't let anything bad happen to you. Promise." She gripped his hand a little tighter.
Harriette was pretty good at finding money places. So it didn't take long for them to climb aboard a bus. Kreacher tried to avoid touching them, but he kept his hand in Harriettes.
Several buses took them far away from Grimmauld place. The only home Kreacher ever knew. Still Kreacher didn't abandon Harriette.
Eventually, after it started raining, they snuck into the empty shed of some house. Harriette shivered against the cold wet stone walls. Kreacher scooched closer to her.
"I'm sorry," Harriette sobbed. "I got you into trouble probably. I'm so sorry. I didn't want to let him hurt you… But I didn't even ask what you wanted." Kreacher hugged her.
"It's okay," Kreacher said. Hugging her closer. "Kreacher has never been protected before." He told her. "Kreacher is sorry he wasn't able to protect you." Harriette shook her head.
"I want to go home," Harriette's soft voice was barely a whimper. "I want my daddies." She sobbed, just repeating herself.
"Tell me about home," Kreacher said.
"Hmm," Harriette said.
"Tell Kreacher about Harriette's home." Kreacher said. Harriette tilted her head, in confusion but smiled.
"Harriette lives at a place called Fazbear pizza plex," Harriette said. "Her daddies are the daycare attendants. Harriette lives in the room above it. She shares that place with her daddies and Ms. Spider. She has a shelf with her books and some of her toys on it. She has a box full of toys, and a hanging, rolly rack for her clothes."
"Kreacher can get Harriette back home," Kreacher said. "Just tell Kreacher to take Harriette home." Harriette looked up at him. Tears formed in her eyes.
"Please, Please take Harriette home," Harriette begged. Kreacher nodded into her head. Then there was a whooshing feeling around them and they were on something much softer.
"Harriette," Harriette heard her Daddies' voice. She turned to look.
"Daddies!" Harriette shouted. She was in a hug.
"Harriette, oh Harriette!" Sun said. "What happened to your face?"
"A bad meany hit Harriette," Harriette said. "I mean me." She corrected. Then she reached and tugged Kreacher into a hug. "This is Kr-Kreacher. He's my friend and he helped me get back." She explained, then they were wrapped up in her daddies' hug.
Sirius came free of the spell, eyes wandered for the girl and house elf. Guilt turning his gut, tears burning his eyes. The sky was darkening, not the mid-morning gray, but a late evening gray. The spell had taken hours to wear off. They could be anywhere.
"Kreacher," Nothing. "Kreache! Harry." Sirius curled in on himself. 'I need help', was his only thought, besides what he had just done to his godchild.
Okay, since my friend will be back to writing with me on Friday. The publishing schedule will become more spaced when that happens.
Now since I ran out of content for the time being I'm going to give some information of the bracelet I created for this specific story.
Fact 1: I created the bracelet. I don't know if JK had anything like this and IDC.
Fact 2: The bracelets were made in ancient wizard time. Like so long ago nobody remembers and quite a few wizards don't even know they exist. And no one who does remembers how they were made or for what purpose.
Fact 3: The reason is some ancient wizards had a problem. Their kids kept appariting in their sleep and kept getting hurt and almost dying. (Maybe one or two did, not entirely important). So they decided to make something to stop that from happening.
Fact 4: Because the number of magical people at that time was pretty small and they didn't have stable building or at least common stable buildings, IDK, they decided that an item to be worn would be easier.
Fact 5: Now-a-days, only the older, or wealthier families have these things lying around.
Fact 6: Like anything that was original made for someone safety or aid, some jack ass had to ruin it. Children will apparate instinctually when threatened, or in pain. So people decided they didn't like their kids having an escape route and started using the bracelets for that.
Fact 7: They are usually take off after a while, and only put on during and a little while after the beatings are finished. Once the idea of escape is no longer running through the child's mind.
Fact 8: They are never used for adults since they can be removed by adult wizards and they can't be tracked as they don't need to be.
Fact 9: They usage isn't common as it's easier to charm a place against aparation than a person.
You might have asked; Why was Kreacher so nice to Harriette when she arrived?
Kreacher saw the bracelet and recognized it and it's purpose and realized she was being held against her will. That combined with her young age, Kreacher thought she was younger at first, and her generally being nice to him as well as him craving affection and company after so long resulted in him being rather quick to become attached.
