~Later in the evening~

Jaune was done making the Mechashift weapons for Tsubaki and Tiona. Plus, the armor for Tsubaki. Now, Jaune was making modifications for his [Blood Ogre Armor Set]. When wearing the armor, he stands out too much when he is with the girls since he is wearing full armor, which is no longer used in Remnant, sans Cardin. Hence, he needs to modify it, and with his [Creation (Max)], he would get new attributes.

Jaune said as he thought, "Let's see…Hmm…If I was a male Coco, what would I wear? Ah! I know! How about a blue jacket over a white T-shirt, black jeans, stylish shoes, and a belt? Ok, maybe Coco would go with something more original, but that's all I can come up with. So, that's what I'll make."

Of course, him being Jaune, he outdid himself when he created the items. It was more impressive than even the girls' combat suit. This one isn't a set but individual items. Thus, they each had their own new attributes.

Each one had SS+, and they are Magic Reflection, Enhance Durability, Enhance Strength, Enhanced Swiftness, Slash Protection, Pierce Protection, Impact Protection, Impact Absorption, Fire Protection, Ice Protection, Poison Protection, Curse Protection, Analysis Protection, Inexhaustible, Auto Cleaning, Auto Repair, and Temperature Regulator.

Jaune smiled and said, "This is what I'm talking about! Hell yeah! I should upgrade the girls' combat outfit when I have time. It is best if they have all the protection I can give them. Better be safe than sorry."

It was then Jaune heard the bell of the Mansion. He looked to check who it was and saw Hephaestus, Tsubaki, Tiona, and Riveria. They were here for their armor and weapons.

Jaune opened the door and let them in. Riveria jumped him and said, "I know I said to make me an armor similar to the one that day, but this is too much! For a measly 3M Valis, I feel I'm taking advantage of you! Please, accept this extra money."

He shook his head and said, "Nope! I said it was 3M Valis if you procured your own materials, which you did. Therefore, I will only charge the amount I said and nothing more. Besides, I'm not short of cash."

Riveria was hesitant but sighed and accepted it, saying, "This armor is more powerful than any I have seen. By the way, Tiona said you were making a weapon for her for free."

Jaune said, "Yup! I just finished it an hour before you girls got here."

He took the weapons from his [Item box] and gave them to Tsubaki and Tiona. He explained, "Now, I need to explain what they are. This type of weapon is called a Mechashift. A weapon with two or more forms. Tiona, this is [Urga-Shift]."

[Urga-Shift] was two long swords. But with a single switch, it turned into great swords. Then putting the pommel of the blades together turned it into a double-bladed sword. It looked no different from Tiona's current weapon. Of course, the weapon was far more impressive than it looked. Insert mana, and the sword turns ablaze.

Jaune smiled and said, "What do you think, Tiona?"

Tiona had sparkles in her eyes, saying, "Is this really for me? Are you sure you'll give it for free? I can pay for it! But I'll have to get a loan to pay for it."

Jaune shook his head, saying, "No need. Just help me with sparring with the girls. You have more experience than them, and they've learned a lot from you."

Tiona bowed and said, "Thank you for the weapon! I never thought I'll ever get a magic weapon."

Jaune said, "Right, I'll say it here. My magic weapons are not one-time-use weapons. You can transfer mana into the weapon to activate its power as often as you like. It would replenish any mana it has used over time."

Hephaestus interjected and said, "Right, I remember how you hate the magic weapons in circulation. I would never want to hear you ranting about how they are not real magic weapons ever again. But, I accept what you said that day."

Tsubaki was not following. She asked, "Hephaestus-sama, what do you mean about him hating magic weapons?"

Hephaestus explained, "He said the magic weapon made by others are not magic weapons, but a consumable item like a potion."

Jaune said, "Anyway, we lost track. Now! For you, Tsubaki, I made this. [KN-Shift]."

Jaune showed a katana, but as a Mechashift, it could change into a naginata by extending its handle and widening its blade. And by pouring mana into the weapon, lightning would crackle within its blade.

As for Tsubaki's armor, it was created a few hours after Jaune created Riveria's armor. Thus, it had the exact attributes. What is important is the attributes of the weapons, which are as follows:

[KN-Shift: Enhance Durability S+, Enhance Strength S+, Enhanced Slash S+, Enhanced Piercing S+, Lightning Edge, Mana Absorption, Auto Repair]

Looking at the attributes, Riveria said, "Is it too late to commission a staff?"

Jaune apologized and said, "Unfortunately, I will be busy soon. I wouldn't be able to work on any commissions."

That was not a lie per se, but it was not the truth either. Jaune heard from the voice that the D.E. absorption was being completed earlier than expected due to his immense increase in stats. Thus, he would be able to train in the Dreamscape again. He will return to Remnant soon after speaking to a few people.

Jaune said, "Right, Riveria. I wanted to ask. Is Loki available? I want to speak to her."

Riveria said, "She shouldn't be busy tomorrow morning. I could tell her you want to meet her when Tiona and I return."

Jaune nodded and said, "If it isn't too much of a bother. Could you tell her to meet me here?"

Riveria replied, "Not a bother. I'll speak to Loki-sama about it."

As their business was done, Riveria left with a Tiona that wanted to stay. However, she saw that Jaune had something to talk about with Hephaestus. Thus, she dragged kicking and screaming Tiona out of the Hearth Manor.

Similarly, Tsubaki left as she noticed Jaune wanting to speak to Hephaestus about something.

~In the Living Room~

Hestia and Jaune sat in front of Hephaestus with a table between them.

Hephaestus said, "I know you want to ask me something serious, but before that, I've been dying to know about the Mechashift weapons!"

Jaune chuckled and said, "We'll get to that. But first, there is something I have to tell you."

Hephaestus listened attentively to Jaune, who said, "I know you've noticed that the girls and I are different from the people you are used to here in Orario."

She nodded and said, "Yes, I have. I also know you have abilities that are not known in this world. I believe you once called it Aura."

Jaune explained, saying, "The reason for that is because we are not of this world. We came from another called Remnant. The girls and I came here to train temporarily as our usual training area was not accessible."

Hephaestus looked at Hestia, who said, "What he said is true. I knew about it from reading the description of his Skills and Titles. Jaune and the others are from another world."

There was sadness in Hephaestus' eyes, and she said, "I see…You are all planning to head back to your world now that access to your real training area has been opened up, right?"

Jaune nodded, making Hephaestus' mood decline. However, what she heard next made her happy, "I want you to come with us. You don't have to worry about your Familia since time would be slowed to a crawl. Meaning, you wouldn't miss anything."

Hestia held her chest high and said, "I was the first one Jaune asked to come with him. I can't wait to see the world he came from."

Hephaestus said, "Another world, huh? I never thought I would be able to enter another world. Count me in!"

She was so excited that she got to stay with Jaune. To hide it, she said, "M-Mechashift, I imagine that's from your world. I'm quite interested in it."

Jaune nodded, the ever-dense, not noticing Hephaestus was more interested in him than some weapons technology, saying, "If you want to learn more about it, Ruby is the best person to ask. She is more versed in the subject than I am. Although, that was before I started learning about it."

He added, "I have to warn you, however. My world is quite peaceful for the most part, but creatures of Darkness lurk in our world. We call them Grimm, but they are not as dangerous as the monsters in the deeper floor of the dungeon."

Hephaestus said, "It is similar to this world before the Gods created the dungeon. What are your Gods doing about it?"

Jaune said, "Right…about that. No Gods or Goddesses are walking amongst mortals. There was once a fairy tale about the Brother Gods."

Jaune told Hephaestus and Hestia about the story, which shocked them greatly—a world with abilities different from magic discovered by humanity without the help of Gods.
