~Remnant-II~
To say that the beast was dead is an understatement. Due to the [Absolute Armament], its body turned into dust. The body was gone only a few seconds later, and Jaune's stats skyrocketed.

Seeing his stats, Jaune was satisfied but not happy. With this fight, he knew he could do so much more. Some of his skills and abilities were not where he wanted them. It was below his expectations.
Jaune thought for a moment. 'I can do so much more than I've already done. For me and the girls. I need to head to another world to get the [Link] ability. With it, I can help the girls get on my level, and we can all, together, fight the Beast of the Rift.'
Jaune looked at his girls and smiled. He saw on their faces worry and the feeling of being useless. They wanted to help him, but they were too weak, and if they jumped in, they would, no doubt, cause him trouble rather than help.
Ruby watched Jaune the entire time. 'How can I help Jaune against the Beast of the Rift when I couldn't even see what was happening with…whatever that thing was! Am I even cut out to think of myself as someone who can stand by his side?'
Yang had a look of disappointment aimed at herself. 'Thrill, huh? That's what I was after when I wanted to become a Huntress. But Jaune's dream has always been to be a hero like his forefathers. He has always wanted to help people. Even when Cardin was bullying him, in that ass' time of need, Jaune still helped him. What am I doing with my life if I want to seek thrills rather than help people? That feeling has changed thanks to Jaune, but it is still a big part of why I wanted to get stronger.'
Weiss looked at Jaune with heart-shaped eyes. 'Hmmm…That was hot! I know I should be disappointed with myself for not being able to help him, but seeing him show all those moves… makes me excited! Still, I need to work harder to help him the best I can. The way I am now is not enough. When we head to the Dreamscape, I'll train the magic he taught us to the extreme, worthy of the magic circuits he gave us.'
Blake squinted her eyes at Jaune. 'I know Jaune was born human, but why do I feel he is always more comfortable and happier in his Kitsune form? It's almost like it is his natural form. It makes me wonder if there are others like Jaune who want to have Faunus features. Enough thinking about that! I need to focus and find a way to get stronger before thinking unnecessary things! Stay focus! Get stronger first and support Jaune against our adversary before thinking of something that might not be possible.'
Lei and Nora communicated telepathically, even though they did not have telepathy. 'Hey, Nora. Did you see what Jaune did there? …Yeah! He blocked the attack that was heading our way! …We need to work harder! We can't be a burden to him. …I know! Maybe if I can fully master the usage of Magnhild's true powers, then I'll be able to help him. …Good! As for me, I'm starting to grasp the [Cosmic Breathing], which would allow me to absorb energy from the world and boost my power. …Well done, Lei!'
Pyrrha watched Jaune as Ruby did. 'This is the Jaune I knew was possible. Even before the Dreamscape, I knew he could accomplish such a feat. But ever since getting the Dreamscape, I saw a potential that is far surpassing his previous potential. Jaune, you truly are amazing. I don't know how everyone could miss it, but I was glad I was the first to see your true potential. Last time, you worked your ass off to be able to reach me, but this time, it's my turn to show you how determined I am to reach you.'
Amber looked at Jaune with eyes that showed her love and admiration for him. 'The Dreamscape might have helped you become stronger, but no matter how amazing it is, it is useless when you can't push yourself beyond your limit, like how I was before. I was gifted the power of the Maiden, but I never pushed myself like you have.
As Jaune was making his way back to the others, he never noticed that there was something the beast left behind. This has only happened in the Dreamscape and never in reality. However, turning back to look at the beast's place allowed him to notice it.
Jaune was shocked. "It can't be. Drop items have only happened in the Dreamscape…" He thought about it for a while. Nothing came to mind on why it happened. However, channeling his inner Nora, he was able to think of something absurd, borderline insane!
Jaune voiced out his thoughts. "There is no way that the Dreamscape was created from the Beast of the Rift, right? It could explain why one of them is hellbent on destroying it and me. As insane as it may be, there is a possibility that it is real…Hmmm…But maybe, there is another explanation…There has to be. Come on, think! What if the beast is similar to the Dreamscape and bridges Dreams and Reality? That could be an explanation for it."
As he pondered how it was possible, he checked the items and skills the beast dropped. It was as plentiful as the Dreamscapes Demon Bosses.
[Infinite Watering Can: Watering Can which contains an infinite spring of water. The water inside is Holy Water, and even a dead or dying plant will quickly become healthy with this water. The water is always perfectly pure and drinkable, and upon drinking, will not only recover fatigue throughout the body but also increase magical power]
[Pill of Large and Small Changes: Fantasy Rabbit's rare drop item. When you consume this pill, you can change your size at will. The effect is permanent]
[Arthurian Lion King Armor: Armor clad in silver and blue, a fur cloak, and a helmet carved to resemble a lion's face with a mane. Ability: Knight of the Lion – a skill to summon lions of light]
[Chains of Heaven: It is a chain able to bind the gods so they cannot escape, making it one of the few Anti-Divine weapons that holds the concept of "reigning over the gods." The strength and durability of the chain grow stronger with the target having higher Divinity, but it is no more than a tough chain to a target without Divinity. When used against a regular human, they feel they cannot pry it off. In contrast, Divine targets are entirely held in place]
[Gate of Babylon: It is a Noble Phantasm that becomes more powerful with the user's wealth but would not be helpful without a wealth of valuables. It was also once referred to as an EX-ranked Noble Phantasm due to containing Ea. The items passing through the gate form gold-glowing energy ripples in the empty air as they appear instantly, which can also summon things directly into the user's hand, pull out weapons from directly behind him, or prepare numerous weapons midair, loaded like bullets, and fired as such. Click for more details]
[God Force: The ability to bring out the true destructive potential of Divine Energy by amplifying the wielder's physical and magical strength by circulating it throughout the body. Effect: x10,000 in all stats. Time Limitation: User]
[God-Force Armament: The ability to equip the Divinity of other Gods as your own, gaining all their abilities temporarily. Can be used through a contract with a God or absorbing their Divinity through the Soul Realm after their death]
Jaune examined everything he got, and he was amazed. "Whoa! This is a great harvest! Still, I wouldn't say it was worth it if getting this kind of amazing drops meant endangering the others. I would rather have them safe over these things. Especially this Gate of Babylon. It is similar to my item box, but it did say I can use it to fire the swords I've made and even release magic from the staves I've forged. I think I can do something amazing with it. Luckily, I was barely strong enough to beat this thing."
Looking at the [Infinite Watering Can], Jaune smiled. "This is useful. It can increase magical powers, meaning I can use it as an alchemy ingredient to create something for the girls while I help Midoriya with his hero training."
While Jaune was thinking about making something crazy for the girls, the [God Force Armament] worked in the background. For you see, the [Loop of Binding] has the residual energy of all the Gods from its universe origin. Jin Mori, the original owner of the crown, absorbed all the powers of the Gods to achieve a state where he was called God Maitreya. Jaune has absorbed those Divinity into his Soul Realm, shocking Nine-Tails as there were now countless shrines around it.
Ruby and the others ran toward Jaune, wanting to know what was taking him so long. Upon seeing him, they noticed he was holding a watering can and a pill.
Ruby, ever the curious one, asked. "What is that?"
Jaune showed her the watering can and the pill, as he explained. "The beast dropped it. It shocked me knowing that we are in reality right now and that this is a version of Remnant and not Orario."
Nora had widened her eyes. "Whoa! Could the Beast of the Rift be after you because of the Dreamscape being created through the Beast of the Rift? What you killed is like a baby Beast of the Rift, right? I can tell from its energy signature. It was the same as the one that shook Remnant with its roar."
Jaune smirked. "I guess channeling my inner Nora has landed me in the same conclusion as the real deal."
Nora was even more amazed. "Cool! Soon! You shall have the same horny tendencies as me! Mu-ha-ha-ha! I can't wait!"
Jaune rolled his eyes at her. He was not going to break down anytime soon. Although, he was thinking about going on those three dates soon. He then shook his head. 'Damn it! I think Nora is wearing me down! I'm looking forward to finishing the three dates as soon as possible because of such lewd tendencies! I need to calm down and make sure that I go on the date with the right intentions, and that is to increase our closeness.'
Nora smirked as she saw Jaune shaking his head, and she knew her plan was working!
Jaune sighed. "Nora, stop smirking. You aren't wearing me down in the slightest."
Nora jumped around Jaune before leaning into him. "Ooooooh! I didn't know Jaune-Jaune knew how to lie. But it is not good enough! I know I'm wearing you down. He-he! I'll soon get what I want!"
Jaune sighed. He was not a very good liar, which is why he barely lies, because he knew he would just get caught, like now.
Arc and the others approached Jaune, and he spoke. "Holy hell, dude! I knew you were strong on the Dreamscape, but I didn't think you would be strong to the point that all we could see was light moving. Then! You up it by kicking that thing to space and leaping there! We saw the moon shatter even further when you kicked that thing!"
Valkyrie approached Jaune the same way Nora did. "Are you sure you're human? You do have those cute ears and tail."
Belladonna remarked. "How is it you have those features?"
Jaune replied. "I have something called [Beast Takeover]. It allows me to take on the features and abilities of souls I have absorbed. But don't get me wrong, I did not absorb the soul of a Faunus. It was a soul I got from the Dreamscape."
Belladonna nodded as she did not believe Jaune to be that type of person. Still, it was a wonder to her how he got the Dreamscape. It had so much potential that it was scary. This was evidenced when she saw him fight with all he has got. A kick so powerful that it sent the opposition to the moon. She never thought she would see something so beyond amazing.
Oscar/Ozpin approached Jaune. "Mr Arc…sorry, Jaune is what we call you to separate you from our version. So, Jaune. Can I ask what happened to Salem? I saw you throwing your spear at that thing, but the Monstra was also affected. How about Salem?"
Jaune thought back for a moment before replying. "You told me she is this scary Grimm lady, right? Sorry, the Ozpin told me she is a scary Grimm lady…When I threw the beast through the Monstra, I saw something in the gaping hole created by the beast's impact. I killed her as I passed through."
Ozpin, Rose, and the others were shocked. 'Is it finally over? Is Remnant finally liberated from its long-time conflict with Grimm?'
As for Jaune, he thought. 'Hmm…The feeling I had about Salem, it wasn't this world's version, but our world's version. It's as if my instinct told me not to do the same thing I did in this world to our version. Is there something different about the one from our world? That's something to think about.'
Rose looked at Jaune. "Now that it's over, are you guys going to leave?"
Jaune nodded. "We are unless you need any more help."
Rose shook her head. "You guys helped us deal with the heavy lifting. Leave the clean-up to us! Thank you for everything you've done for us! You even brought my mother back."
Ren approached Jaune. "I, too, am grateful for bringing my parents back. This is a gift I never thought I would ever receive."
Jaune patted Ren on the shoulders. "Just never let the situation ever get to you. There is always hope if you look and work hard enough."
It was time for Jaune and his girlfriends to leave. Taking a door out of his item box, they entered and went the world back to their own.
