Ever since the Halloween party and finding out that Arackniss had a family, Angel barely left the hotel. He wouldn't even come out of his room for food; Niffty would just leave it outside the door. Angel stopped coming to Kara's club for work and he wouldn't even show up at the porn studio for Valentino. Kara tried everything to get Angel to come out of his room. She brought his meals to his room, slipped notes under the door, and left little gifts for Angel, but nothing worked. Kara was worried about Angel when he never came out of his room. Kara even called up Molly and Arackniss for any advice but she couldn't get a hold of them.
When phone calls didn't work, she decided to go see them in person along with Angel's father. She didn't tell Charlie or anyone else in the hotel where she was going. Her first stop was Sir Pentious's manor to talk to Arackniss. When she arrived at the manor, she knocked on the door, expecting Arackniss to answer it. But to her surprise, Pentious was the one who opened the door with Jackie hiding behind him in a shy way. He was surprised to see Kara at the door. Jackie peeked out from behind his father and gave her a small wave. She waved back at Jackie.
"Kara, what brings you to my home?" Pentious asked.
"Is Arackniss here? I want to talk to him about what happened on Halloween." Kara stated.
"Um, well, he is here. So is Henroin and I don't think…"
"Oh perfect. I need to him as well so, may I come in?" Kara asked.
Pentious reluctantly let Kara come in then he and Jackie went upstairs. Kara wasn't sure what that was all about but something told her that she was about to get her answer. She could hear Arackniss and Henroin screaming at each other from the other room. Kara ran towards the room and found the two spiders arguing. "I don't know how you found out about me and Penn. But I want you to stay away from us! Especially Jackie!" Arackniss shouted.
"I told you I have eyes everywhere! And I know what's going on with my kids! And when they are lying to me!" Henroin shouted back.
"Oh, here we go again! You haven't acted like a father in years. You shut out me and Molls, you abused Anthony to the point of death! And now here you are, acting like you've changed! You never cared about us!"
"Well, I'm trying! I'm still your father!"
"Don't think I forgot!"
Kara let out a loud whistle that got both spiders' attention. "Ok, that's enough!" she screamed. "This is getting out of hand! You two come with me, now!"
Both spiders tried to argue but Kara gave them a death glare and that shut them up. They followed her back to the hotel then she told them to head inside her office and wait for her. Arackniss was the only one who went into her office. Henroin insisted that he wanted to see Angel and talked to him. Kara led Henroin to Angel's room which was down the hall. However, instead of knocking on the door, she kicked the door open. But what she saw left her speechless; Angel's room looked like a hurricane had hit it from the inside. The bed had piles of clothing on it, some were even in Fat Nuggets' little bed.
There were even dirty plates on the floor and food under his bed. "And now I know why Niffty never comes into Angels' room," she muttered.
Even Henroin looked like he was about to have a stroke seeing the huge mess. "This can't be Anthony's room. I know for a fact that he always kept his room clean." Henroin stated.
Kara was about to speak when they both heard the sounds of someone throwing up in the bathroom. Kara and Henroin ran over to the bathroom door. Kara knocked on the door, hoping that Angel would open up. "Angel, I know you're in there! Open up!" Kara shouted.
There was no answer; Kara was about to kick the door down but Henroin stopped her. "Let me talk to him." Henroin said, "Stay with Arackniss."
Kara left the room and headed to her office. Angel was puking in the bathroom but he did stop when he heard Kara's voice. His legs were numb so he couldn't get up to open the door, He then heard the last voice he ever wanted to hear, his father. The door opened then Angel felt his father's arms wrap around his waist. "Anthony…"
"Don't. Just don't." Angel said, "I know you only came just because Kara said so. And don't call me Anthony. I haven't been Anthony in over seventy years."
"I came because I wanted to talk to you."
"Well, you can save your breath. I'm not interested in what you have to say."
"Anthony…"
"It's Angel Dust now!" Angel pulled out of his father's arms. "Don't you get it?! You disowned me! I'm not your son!"
"Yes, you are."
"Oh really?! Because last time I checked, you told me that you didn't want a son who was a fa****! You never cared about me!"
"That is not true!"
"Keep telling yourself that! I bet all the slaps and belt whips you did to me were just entertaining!"
Bitter tears formed in his eyes, "I regret all of it."
"Then why?! Why put me through all the abuse?!"
"Because… Because…"
"What?! Because what?!"
"Because I wanted you to hate me for getting your mother killed!"
That answer shook Angel to his core. Henroin went on to explain that when his wife got shot by a rival gang, he blamed himself for her death. He knew that Angel was so close to her. Her death hit everyone hard but Henroin was the one that took it harder. His don personality was shown more and he drank more to the point where he would lash out. He would beat Angel to a pulp drunk and it made Angel fear him. This drove Angel into getting hooked on drugs and being raped by men for pleasure. But when Angel came out as gay, Henroin went ballistic and slapped Angel. Angel wanted the pain to end so he overdosed on the drugs and ended up dead in his room.
Henroin told Angel that it broke his heart to learn that his youngest son had died from an overdose. Even Molly and Arackniss refused to talk to him after the funeral. When he finally ended up in Hell and started up a new mafia, he tracked down Molly and Arackniss and made things right. He learned that Angel had signed his soul over to Valentino and he wanted to reach out to him but he was afraid that Angel wouldn't listen to him. Angel thought that Henroin was just using a fake sob story to get his sympathy. It wasn't until Henroin reached into his pocket and then he pulled out something and handed it to Angel.
When Angel saw what it was, an old photo from when all of them were alive. Tears formed in Angel's eyes but he quickly wiped away the tears, trying to act more like a man in front of his father. But his father didn't care; he helped Angel to his feet and then helped him out of the bathroom. Angel felt so embarrassed with the state of his room in front of his father. But he didn't seem to care. "Anthony, what's going on? Why were you just throwing up?" Henroin asked.
"It's fine. Just a stomach ache." Angel lied, trying to look away from his father.
"You're lying," Henroin stated.
"Ok, ok. Val's always on my case about me being fat so I was starving myself to stay skinny but I got so hungry that I started stuffing my face." Angel broke into tears, "I snapped out of my hunger when I was how much I ate that I forced myself to throw up everything."
Before Angel could say more, Henroin pulled Angel in close and wrapped his arms around his youngest child. Arackniss walked into Angel's room, ignoring the mess. He talked to Kara about making things right with Angel. Angel looked up to face his older brother. "Nissy? Why are you here?" Angel asked.
"I wanted to apologize about what happened on Halloween. I know I should have told you about Penn and Jackie but I was scared of how you would react." Arackniss stated, "Anthony, you're my brother and I care about you."
"Arackniss, my name is…"
"Tony, please. I don't want to call you, Angel Dust. That's the horrible shit that took your life!" Arackniss said, cutting off Angel.
"It's just a name,"
"Not to me. To me, it's just a reminder. A reminder of how you were taken from us."
Angel told Arackniss that he could still call him Anthony, the same as his father. But only when they are alone, Angel still had a reputation as the best pornstar in Hell. And he did tell Arackniss that if Pentious ever broke his heart, then he and Cherri would be his ass right into the next Extermination Day. The three spiders hugged one another, finally feeling like a family again. Kara came in to check up on them and to use her powers to make Angel's room squeaky clean. She was happy that Angel finally reconnected with his family. Angel even asked Arackniss and Henroin if they would stay for dinner.
Everyone in the hotel altered cooking duties each night; though Husk and Andy had their kitchen privileges revoked after their dinner mishaps. Tonight was Angel's turn to cook dinner which he loved doing. It gave him a chance to make his favorite Italian dishes. Arackniss and Henroin didn't mind staying for dinner. Angel ran off to the kitchen then he started prepping everything he needed to make dinner. As he started cooking, he was so lost in the moment that he didn't see someone else entering the kitchen. Someone tapped Angel on the shoulder which was a mistake when messing with a mafia kid.
Angel was startled then his mafia instincts kicked in. He clutched the knife he was holding then grabbed the demon's hand with his other lower arm and turned to pin down his "attacker." He stopped mid-way when he saw who it was. "Al?! What the fuck?!" Angel shouted, releasing Alastor.
"Apologies for the intrusion my dear. But I couldn't resist the wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen." Alastor stated.
"Just an old family recipe. I already made the side dish, Italian Meatball Buns. Now I'm working on the main dish and something special for dessert." Angel stated.
Alastor offered to help Angel with the cooking; Angel didn't mind the extra help. Together, Alastor and Angel worked on the meal. Alastor hummed a little song while cooking with Angel, enjoying it. They finished up making dinner and the dessert for later. Alastor helped Angel bring everything over to the dining room. Angel made Lasana with three different types of cheese, the Meatball Buns for the side dish and for dessert, cannolis. Kara had to hold back Niffty from snatching all the cannolis for herself. That little demon has one hell of a sweet tooth. Everyone else loved Angel's cooking; Charlie even considered putting Angel on cooking more often.
