Authors Note :

Thank you all for reviews and overall positive reception, and to answer a few of your questions just like with chakra cursed energy can be infused into weapons but Naruto utilizing cursed energy in that way is something I haven't decided on yet. Naruto did not kill the matron as she only lost one arm so only the man in the alley died which is important later, but in terms of seeing death so early like sorcerers all shinobi are at least a bit crazy so by their standards he is ready for the harsh reality of the profession. I also found Gojo and Naruto both have similar personalities with both being goofy with the only difference being Gojo is arrogant and less sensitive to hurting others which Naruto will likely have as well do to him being stronger than most once he understands his abilities better. As I said before you are free to not like the direction I take things and if you have an issue with it you have every right to not read the story if certain tropes or trends aren't to your liking rather than nitpicking. I will likely not be putting authors' notes in the beginning of each chapter any more unless I notice a lot of questions are being asked from the prior chapter or I need to address something. Lastly never and I mean NEVER use my review section to promote some sicko pedo or SA shit you are not welcome here if that is your intention and I tried looking but if someone could inform me how to delete inappropriate reviews it would be much appreciated.

Chapter 3- Realizations

##Konoha 1 year later##

It was the middle of winter in Konoha and Naruto had just recently started attending the village's ninja academy, when news of this reached the village many were outraged that the demon was even allowed a chance to become a shinobi. Many had heard whispers of Naruto being capable of using some strange ability capable of crushing whoever he desired. However these were only rumors as anytime someone decided to spread them they would receive a nice visit from the torture and investigation department, but this was enough to keep villagers away from Naruto in fear either he or the anbu would come after them if they tried anything.

Naruto was becoming more ostracized from the village as those rumors made others not even give him the glares he was so familiar with as they treated him as if he was invisible anytime he was near. Parents with children currently in the academy made sure to tell their children to stay away from the evil child.

"Make sure you stay clear of that boy dear he is nothing but trouble" said a woman to her child.

"Yes mom, I'll stay away" the child retiarated in understanding.

This was said by almost all parents sending their children to the academy excluding those from shinobi clans. Children are very observant and as they all noticed how their parents showed disdain to the boy they soon followed their parents lead and either bullied or ignored the boy.

"Look it's Gog eyes" teased a student, noticing Naruto entering the room.

Naruto had recently started wearing green goggles that looked to have completely blacked out lenses. This was done to lessen the strain on his eyes and brain due to the goggles lowering his field of vision to just a few kilometers.

##flashback 9 months ago##

"This is where you will stay Naruto" said Hiruzen as they walked into a furnished 1 bedroom apartment. Naruto looked around and noticed a small kitchen with all necessary appliances connected to a living room with a dining table, couch, and a small tv that led to the bedroom with a connected bathroom.

" I know it isn't much but it's the best I could get for you without compromising your safety as you are a short walk away from both the academy and my office." Hiruzen explained.

"It's a perfect old man, and now I atleast don't have to worry about freezing anymore and my bedroom being a storage closet." He exclaimed excitedly.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all that Naruto, but that is now all in the past and I will provide you a monthly allowance to get yourself groceries and a little spending money if necessary". He informed. " I also wanted to give you these, maybe they will help with your eye strain," he said as he handed the boy a pair of goggles that were tinted so black that no regular person could see out of them.

"Thanks again jiji" Naruto said in appreciation.

"Anytime my boy, why don't I show you how to get groceries and after we can further discuss the extent of your unique abilities and how we should go about training you to bring out its full potential." Hiruzen offered as they left.

Naruto was used to the insults the other children threw at him as he often ignored them. Little did however they and the rest of Konoha know that Naruto was stockpiling all they did to him as they were awakening a beast within Naruto, and said beast would bring chaos to Konoha with the most diabolical of pranks as Naruto was still a child that desired attention and needed to blow off steam somehow.

Naruto's class was unique even if he excluded himself as they were the class with not only the most clan children in attendance in a while but the most clan heirs as well. This included prestigious clans such as the Nara, Yamanaka, and Inuzuka clans, as well as noble clans such as the Hyuga, Aburame, Akamichi, and Uchiha clan. The clan children were at least civil to Naruto as they were not taught to feel one or another about him with the children of the Hyuga, Inuzuka, Akimichi, and Nara clan actually being somewhat friendly with him which was a nice change of pace for him and this list also included his sensei Iruka who was cold at first but eventually warmed up to him. There was also another child that Naruto felt he connected with on some level due to him also having no family and possessing a unique ability no matter how matter how cold the boy could be; and his name was Sasuke Uchiha the the sole heir and surviving member of the Uchiha clan after his older brother slaughtered everyone of its members excluding him. This was an event almost as tragic as the nine tails attack to the village as they lost one of its noble clans, and all of Konoha attended the mass funeral and even Naruto attempted to join but soon realized that the villagers made it clear that they felt his presence wasn't welcome not letting their irrational hate go for even this.

Soon class was dismissed and the children made way to either their homes or to hang out with each other, and as usual Naruto could see the typical side eyes and glares from the parents picking up their children and while he was still young and it still hurt him and he even hated them for it he was still getting used to this reality and would have to prove to them he is no monster.

Naruto was making his way back home thinking of how he would be able to get groceries that weren't already half spoiled or overpriced to hell, and as he was walking he could overhear the sound of crying.

"Ahh look monster eyes is crying" said a boy as he and two other boys were bullying a young girl who stood at 4' 5" with short black hair, pure white irises and no pupils. Said girl belonged to the second most noble clan in Konoha the Hyuga and her name was Hinata the current heiress of the Hyuga clan.

"P-p-please I-I just want to go home" the girl stuttered a nervous mess.

"Ohhhhh, why don't you order us to leave you alone and tell us how beneath you we are like your stuck up cousin Neji" one of the bullies teased.

"I-I-I d-dont b-b-believe that, everyone is equal" she whispered.

"What's that speak up! Mannn you sure your Hyuga maybe all you got from them is those monster eyes with none of the skill to make them worth anything. The other bully mocked.

They continued to mock and berate the girl but soon they heard someone approaching and when said person arrived they said " seems pretty pathetic that it takes three clowns to deal with one girl don't you think" Naruto mocked.

"Hey who do you think you are!" one of them shouted.

"Wait, that's the bad kid our parents were telling us about right?" another questioned

"Yea that's him I overheard my mom calling him a demon one time" another followed up.

The bullies kept debating about what they should do when Naruto spoke up "listen I don't care what your problem with her is just scram chumps" he stated exhaustingly.

"Who are you calling chumps?!" they all shouted in unison.

"Mannnnn, your annonyingggg" he said after he plugged his ears in exaggeration and annoyance from their high pitched shout.

"He's just a troublemaker, he can't take all of us" one of the bullies said.

"N-n-no please it's okay just g-g-go" Hinata shouted not wanting the boy she remembered from class to get hurt.

"No can do, I'm tired of people picking on other people smaller than them" he said in a determined tone.

With the bullies rushed at naruto little did they know Naruto while no where near a shinobi's level in terms of skill and finesse he did know basic self defense with guidance from the hokage himself.

##flashback six months ago##

Naruto had gone through over a hundred books in the past month all courtesy of the hokage so he could better adapt to life which was necessary especially with him being forced to live on own so young. The books given to the boy were filled with learning material such as cook books, basic hygiene, and as of recent intro to chakra control and taijutsu for beginners. Digesting the material was as simple as breathing thanks to his unique eyes and heightened perception/intelligence, as he was going through katas for the basic academy fighting style so he could be prepared early he heard a knock at the door. Naruto was cautious opening the door as when the village found out where he lived it didn't take long for his apartment to start getting vandalized, however this time who he saw on the other side of the door thanks to his six eyes brought a smile to his face and he went to open the door.

"How's it going old man!" Naruto said with affection and excitement.

"Naruto, how are you doing my boy? Is the new material I provided you being digested well? Remember it's okay if you need help even some genin would find some of the content challenging." the hokage asked with just as much affection as the boy.

"Yeah it's pretty easy as usual old man. I read it once and it sticks" He said in confidence with a hint of cockiness. Naruto was starting to realize that he was simply better at things than most people and he started to develop a superiority complex due to this and It didn't help that the hokage made it very clear how unique he was . It also was an unhealthy coping mechanism as when he started to think of himself as better than others he started to care a little less about the hate he received, something the hokage noticed and was attempting to manage so that his superiority complex didn't turn into a god complex.

"Listen Naruto I am very impressed with your capabilities as I have no doubt that even without considering your status as a jinchuriki you will be a valuable asset to the village with your exceptional mind and abilities. But, you must not get full of yourself, remember that you are to protect and serve the village and its people if you truly wish to become a shinobi, not yourself." the Hokage explained.

"What has the village ever done for me" he mumbled under his breath.

The hokage sighed at his response but it was certainly understandable and soon he spoke "Naruto… I understand most in this village have no right to ask anything of you. But until you become an hokage and get older I am not asking you to protect the village because you care for everyone, but I am asking you to protect it for those you do care for I know its not many but think of me, the nice people at the ramen shop, and even your classmates that you say are nice to you. The villagers are lost right now Naruto and how they treat is inexcusable but this village is a family and even family can do bad things and you must show them why they are wrong and make them regret their actions everyday and to conquer hatred with love as that is the will of fire Naruto something I believe you possess even after all this. I don't expect you to understand all this now Naruto but I atleast hope you listen and consider it and at least for now protect those you care for". The hokage explained.

"Yeah, Yeah, yeah old man I heard from you before and I'll say again I may never forgive them but I'll try at some point and I will at least think of you and the others who are good to me," he said.

"Thank you Naruto, that's all I ask." he said gratefully. "Now Naruto I have something else to tell you and it's about your abilities."

"Yeah, what about it?" He asked.

"Yes well as we discussed your talents and abilities are truly one of a kind as with all my research I have never heard anything about them. You already know that the villagers fear you for the nine tails alone, imagine what would happen if they found you possessed abilities that don't even require chakra with just as much destructive capability." He explained.

"They probably try to put my head on a pike or something," Naruto said, tired of dealing with the people he viewed as blind idiots due to their actions and inability to see or sense the negative energy he could.

"Take this seriously Naruto, But yes and not only them if news of your abilities spread outside of this village along with your status of jinchuriki other villages would start to come after to you to either experiment on you or as disgusting as this sounds breed you because believe it or not even this village is not above that" he said.

"Oh nooo, who could imagine the village who beats little kids and sends people on missions with the purpose of killing others are capable of kidnapping people to do bad things to them." he said sarcastically.

"Smart ass" the hokage grumbled. "Naruto just understand that outside of me you must keep these abilities and any sensitive information about yourself under wraps as you now know what can happen at least until you are strong enough to defend yourself, and don't worry about news of that night getting around I am taking care of that personally." he finished

"I understand old man" he said in understanding.

"Good now two things, First I wanted to follow up on how maybe your mothers clan might have more information about your abilities as the Uzumaki have always been shrouded in mystery, as I can't guarantee anything but it's a start. I would also recommend you get into fuinjutsu as your mind is definitely suited for it here. I also have this for you" he said, handing the boy a book for fuinjutsu.

"Thanks old man, I definitely will do both of those things," he said in appreciation.

" Of course my boy, now I want to hear more of how you managed to manipulate… what do you call it "Cursed energy" into an attack" Hiruzen asked.

"Yeah old man let's go to the roof and I'll show you, but once again it's pretty easy and I kinda discover things as I mess around with the energy and I pretty much circulate the energy to where I need to make myself stronger or even affect gravity in a way. And If I really want to do damage as I punched an entire tree out the ground the other day I focus the energy to my fist for a critical strike" Naruto explained with the enthusiasm of any young boy his age.

"Interesting indeed I would indeed like you to show me" the hokage said scratching his chin as they made their way to the rough tops.

The bullies charged at Naruto but he easily evaded them with him dodging blows that should be in his blind spot almost as if he had eyes in the back of his head. He chucked internally as he noticed how sloppy they were and how they tried desperately to land a single blow.

"Come on hit him!" one of the bullies shouted in frustration as he was once again evaded.

"Naruto laughed aloud at their frustration and said "Wow no wonder you felt it would take three of you, you guys are pathetic and you say you wanna be shinobi." With that Naruto was done messing around and decided to give 3 quick jabs to the bullies which was all it took for them to run off crying to their mommies.

"Are you okay Hinata?", Naruto asked Hinata.

"y-y-yes, thank you" she said blushing out of nervousness and admiration for her now savior who held a confidence in him she could only dream of.

"Don't sweat it like I said seeing clowns like that tend to be idiots and cowards. I've noticed anyways they just like to feel tougher than they actually are" he said smoothly "Well it's getting late I can walk you home if that's alright with you." he said.

"I-I would like that thank you Naruto." and with that they made their way to the Hyuga compound with Hinata looking as red as a beet in nervousness. She had always respected Naruto as she came from a clan and did not hold the same prejudice against the boy most others had, but she still saw how others treated him and she respected his determination to keep a smile on his face and his never give up attitude. Naruto was also someone she noticed to not look down on her as her clan was severely harsh to her for her shy nature others still did look at her as pitiful for it especially with her being a Hyuga. All except Naruto.

They walked in basically silence, Naruto never really having real conversation with people his age and especially a girl, and Hinata was faring even worse than him not only being shy but also due to the fact she felt as if heart was going to beat out of her chest being around the boy.

They were about halfway to the Hyuga compound when a shout could be heard "Ladyyyyy Hinataaaa!" said a Hyuga man named Ko who had appeared to be looking for the child. "Lady Hinata, where have you been? I have been looking all over for you". Before she could respond he noticed Naruto and frowned. "And what have you done to lady Hinata while I know you aren't….. Nevermind, she still should not be seen with the likes as you she is the heiress to the esteemed Hyuga clan and has an image to uphold".

Naruto believe it or not was actually somewhat grateful for that interaction, he still found it annoying but atleast the man did not hate him it seemed. Before he could say anything Hinata spoke up.

"Ko n-n-no wait, N-N-Naruto didn't d-do anything he actually h-h-helped me with bullies and was bringing me h-h-home." Hinata emphasized in Naruto's defense.

"What she said dude I was just walking her home" he said with his arms up in defense of himself.

"Hmmm, well I thank you for that but I ask you to stay away from her as my point still stands". He said in a commanding tone.

"Now listen here douchebag I don't know who you…. GET DOWNNN" screamed Naruto as the man was slammed against the wall by some unknown force".

Both Hinata and Naruto turned and saw a figure standing before them and the form of the figure made their blood run cold as what stood before them was a floating mutilated figure with all four of its limbs appearing crushed beyond repair and its face not changing expressions from that of a man in constant agony and when it saw Naruto it howled in anger with a distorted voice and said "Youuuuu didddd thisssss".

##flashback one week ago##

The alley where Naruto was assaulted one year ago had become the subject of conspiracy even to those who were not aware of the events that happened that night as the alley gave an unsettling feeling to all who went near it. Little did they know something malevolent was being born in said alley, as when Naruto had crushed the man and unleashed a bit of his unrestrained cursed energy that energy lingered and on top of that Naruto even if he hated the man he still did not want him to die and those two factors together led to the creation of a revenant. And now the vengeful spirit of the man in that alley arose seeking to unleash its wrath upon the one who caused his death.

##Back to present##

Naruto was puzzled by what the abomination meant but as he studied it and sensing/seeing the cursed energy coming off of it he realized This was the man he killed or atleast some sick and twisted version of the man.

"I-I-Im sorry I didn't mean to you have to believe me he" Naruto begged in true remorse

"The vengeful spirit repeated what it said "Youuuu diddd thisss" seemingly lacking any of its intelligence it had while alive and going off its rage filled instincts sent spectral arms at the boy and Naruto sensing the attack used his cursed energy to increase his physical abilities in fear and moved the fastest he ever had to the point he was almost a blur.

"N-N-NARUTO W-WhAT Is THATTTTTT!" she screamed in horror.

"I Don't Know really!" he said just as scared as her.

Ko, stirring from the blow got up and said "What did you just do brat!" Both Naruto and Hinata turned shocked by what the man just said.

"MEEE! Do you not see this freak of nature in front of us!" he said in confusion with Hinata nodding in just as much confusion.

"Don't play me for a fool child, and how dare you have lady Hinata go along with your scheme" he said in anger.

"I'm not doing crap I-" and before Naruto could finish his sentence another spectral arm hit him square in the face with so much force it knocked out some teeth and his goggles went flying off. This shocked Ko and terrified Hinata and the man in confusion activated his byakugan to see what happened and what he saw shook him. While the man could not see cursed energy as Naruto and see the spirit as somehow both Naruto and Hinata he could see the irregularities in the area that took the shape of something inhuman.

As he realized something dangerous was among them he quickly rushed over in front of the children and said "Take lady Hinata and run I don't know what's going or what I'm even "seeing" but I will hold it off for you two to get away and to the compound". He ordered

"N-No Ko we are not leaving you with that t-t-thing" She said begging him to run with them.

"It is my duty to protect you my lady and I wi-" and before he could finish the spirit summoned a flurry of spectral arms that man had no chance of avoiding.

In horror with how easily the man was put out of commission and knocked out, Naruto picked up Hinata and ran as fast as he could. Soon they made it to a forest in one of the training grounds. The spirit absolutely horrified Naruto as the amount of energy he was getting from the spirit was nothing compared to his but it was still unsettling to see and feel something with that much cursed energy aside from himself. Soon he spoke "I think we lost it".

"K-Ko we have to go back for him!" She demanded.

"Okay, okay we will but I know that thing was chasing us and I don't think it will stop besi… it's here" he stopped mid sentence noticing the creature had caught up to them.

"YOUUUUUUU DIDDDDD THISSSSS" it screamed with all its fury releasing an ungodly amount of spectral arms and legs at the two. Hinata fell over frozen in shock believing this would be her final moments and Naruto was staring just as frozen trapped in an inner dialogue.

"This can't be happening, it can't be! I just started looking forward to the future I was going to learn so much, do so much it cant all end here" he said in disbelief as the attack got closer.

"No I also got Hinata and that Ko guy caught up in this" He said to himself in frustration.

"NO NO NO STOPPPPP!" Naruto shouted, and suddenly before the attack reached them the attack seemingly halted in place with all three being shocked by what had just happened. The vengeful spirit quickly recovering from the shock prepared another wave of attack and as before it halted before It could reach the two.

"W-W-Whats going on N-N-Naruto? '' Hinata said in confusion.

At first he did not immediately answer but he quickly realized he was the one doing this as he noticed everything near the immediate area of where he and Hinata reside was halted in place which included the leaves in the tree and even the bugs below them that tried to enter past the invisible wall. Soon a grin crawled a way onto his face and he spoke "let me tell you Hinata, I think I just broke the Code" He said in a cool and cocky tone. Then he utilized the cursed energy at his disposal flashed over to revenant fear radiating from its aura and naruto assaulted it with a barrage of cursed energy enhanced punches and kicks.

"YOUUU DIIIdDd THISSS YouoUOU Didddd THIsssssSS!" the revenant repeated in a pained and distorted mess of a sentence.

"Yeah I know you piece of crap! But for what it's worth I am sorry, let yourself be a lesson to all who decide to mess with me" Naruto said and while he was about to throw the final blow his six eyes gave him a revelation and he then shouted "BLACK FLASH!" and thus the revenant was exorcized with a crater being left in its place.

"Oh yeahhhhh, Now you really have my interest boy" The Kyuubi said to himself with a massive smirk on his face.

##Back to real world##

The black flash attack, while not known to this world, is an attack so powerful no sorcerer could summon at will Not even Naruto with the six eyes but his eyes did make the concentration required easier to control than any other sorcerer could. Naruto knew he was strong, stronger than most for a matter of fact but this was ridiculous he was only 8 for crying out loud but what he had just done could probably give most chunin a run for their money. Snapping from his thoughts he turned to Hinata to go check on her and what he saw startled him as he had seen many expression being directed to him such Hate, fear, disdain, and on the occasional case fondness in the case of the hokage, but this was new as what he saw on the girl was… admiration that almost looked to be reverence.

This was strange to him but he still made his way to the girl and said "Sorry I got you caught up in all this Hinata" he apologized

Hinata snapped out of her awe inspired trance and said " D-D-Dont w-w-worry about it, t-thank you for s-saving me" she thanked in a nervous wreck.

Before he could respond three figures dropped from the trees two of which being Hiashi Hyuga and Ko Hyuga and they rushed over to Hinata making sure she was okay with the third being Hiruzen. "Hinata, are you hurt? Ko informed me of what happened" Hiashi asked in a concerned tone.

"Y-y-yes father I'm okay thanks to Naruto" she said.

Hiashi turned to the boy "I'll be honest child when Ko informed me of the situation I almost struck him down for lying and would soon be on your tail to unleash my wrath upon you. However the Hokage who had been for some reason watching you as the events unfolded rushed over and informed me that something was wrong and when we were close enough I could see for myself with my byakugan that some presence was attacking you and my daughter that not even my dojustu could perceive fully. And yet somehow this creature who could defeat a season Chunin was destroyed by you." he said to the boy that even as a newborn intrigued him. "Know I have my eyes on you boy, but out of respect for the hokage and thanks for saving my daughter we will keep what happened today under wraps. With that Hiashi took Hinata with Ko behind and left.

As they were leaving Hinata said "T-t-thank y-y-you narutooo, i-i-ill see you sooooon."

Making Naruto and Hiruzen give a soft smile. Soon Naruto and Hiruzen were left by themselves and Naruto spoke "So you like spying on kid's old man" Hiruzen in embarrassment and frustration smacked Naruto across the head "OUCHH! Try that again you old goat" Hiruzen once again frustrated trying to discipline the boy attempted to hit the boy but was halted mid slap just before he could hit the boy.

This amazed the old man and as he responded to this by saying " fascinating is this another one of your abilities"

"Yeah old man guess those science books paid off because coupled with my cursed energy I learned to use the space around me and divide it infinitely making it so any attack after me never reaches its target or in mathematical terms zero." he explained.

"Truly amazing my boy you really are one of a kind" he said ruffling the boys hair as he looked at the crater. "And that?". He asked

"That I don't know I guess you can say I was in the zone" he theorized.

"Well my boy it's pretty late i'll take you to get ramen and we can discuss more about your abilities and also get you better used to chakra as well I don't want you to only rely on that cursed energy of yours and remember I emphasized this to Hiashi and Ko but keep what happened to yourself and maybe young Hinata as she is now caught up in all this." He explained.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Old man I know, now YOU SAID RAMEN!" He asked excitedly.

"What am I going to do with you?" the old man sighed with a chuckle.

Sorry for the long wait yall but that's the chapter Hope you all enjoyed as it was a long one , and as you can see Naruto is learning at a rapid pace what he is capable of with cursed energy. With that being said I do want to bring some focus back to chakra as I want Naruto to be versatile especially when it comes to seals so look forward to that in the next chapter.
