Valyrian Wars (AD stands for After Doom)
Century of Blood - The Aftermath (0AD-10AD):
· Right after the Doom occurs and those who were close by witnessed the destruction themselves, immediately travelled to Volantis to discuss what was happening.
· House Rhaentheon and House Caeniar were already there on business and were unaware of what had happened as they could not see from Volantis. Naemon Rhaentheon remembers the words spoken by Daenys Targaryen and brings it up with the others, all realising that she was correct. All head to Dragonstone and a betrothal is made between a son of House Rhaentheon and the younger daughter of Gaemon and Daenys. Aenar Targaryen accepts the apology.
· House Caeniar are a prideful House and decide they will use the magic they have to calm the raging inferno in the city, believing themselves to be the top family as word never got out on why House Tarennis were exiled. In the attempt, the Lord Freeholder flies his dragon directly into the fires and casts a spell which should stop the Doom, but it instead accelerates it. All barely making it out alive but with extensive burns and their dragons succumbing to their own wounds after being attacked by a beast they had never seen before.
· The war in Myr is put down by what remains of House Velraenos but due to being a low House do not have as much magic in their blood.
· House Rhaeleris after six years of carefully watching the escaped slaves, see an opening and decide to abolish slavery fully which leads to them being named 'The Bastards of Valyria'.
· By the end of the tenth year, House Celtigar, Velaryon, and Caeniar have lost their ability to bond with a dragon.
Century of Blood - The Bloody Skies (10AD-13AD):
· All families have settled and are rebuilding the Freehold, but House Caeniar want more. Despite half of his body being covered in burns from his expedition, Aermydon still wishes for his family to be in the position they believe they should be.
· House Rhaentheon were of a similar status and they decide to take this into consideration and meet with Lord Freeholder Maelor in Tyrosh. The latter refuses, stating they are pleased where they are and do not wish to be considered the top House in the Freehold- citing Haelor Skraenyx's actions from being one of the top three.
· Furious by this, he travels to Lys to speak to Taeron Tarennis and his sister-wife Alysanne as they are the only remaining House of the top three. There, the truth comes out on why they were exiled and they also have no wish to be one of the top.
· Alysanne alerts Gaemon and Daenys and Maelor alerts Kaerynor Mellarys too. Now with four Dragonlord families united against the plot, Aermydon has no choice but to seek the aid of House Dallaeron as they will not insult themselves with allying with House Rhaeleris.
· Gaeryn Dallaeron agrees and due to their location, House Vaelaleas also agrees. All know the odds are not in their favour but all have a hunger to rise themselves further. Counting on House Vaelaleas' dragons as they are known to be the largest surviving dragons alongside House Dallaeron's fleet.
· The war lasts for more than two years and by the end, much of southwest Essos is a smoking ruin and all but one of House Vaelaleas' dragons is killed. This dragon never laying a clutch of eggs and therefore lose their ability to bond with a dragon.
· Aermydon Caeniar is killed and his second son Lucaerys will wed Jaelerysa Rhaeleris as punishment.
· Gaeryn Dallaeron backs down and promises never to try and rise higher than his station.
· All House's take massive losses. Maeressa Targaryen, Taerelor Rhaentheon, Aermydon and Rhaella Caeniar, Daevor Dallaeron, Aenaera Velraenos, Daesa Rhaeleris, Aerea and Daeron Velaryon, Alysaera Mellarys, alongside a large portion of each House's armies.
Century of Blood - The War of the Free (20AD-21AD):
· With the loss of many Valyrian families, in the twenty years after the Doom, the cities which would come to be known as the disputed lands were taken over by the Valyrian's again.
· Lorath is under House Rhaeleris, Norvos is under House Rhaentheon, Pentos is under House Targaryen, and Qohor is under House Dallaeron. This is due to them still having a strong bond with their dragons and thus are able to travel between all. After what would be known as the Bloody Skies of Essos, the hold on said cities drastically falls, leaving the representatives of the cities to grow in power. Believing they can create an empire that rivals the Freehold themselves.
· Qohor develop a metal that is almost as strong as Valyrian steel but does not have the same magical abilities of the material, and use this to begin trading further east in Vaes Dothrak and in Essaria.
· Lorath rebel against House Rhaeleris publicly by enslaving people once more which is one of their rules. A bounty being placed on the leaders heads for this but no one comes to their aid as at this point the other Valyrian House's still have slaves and do not agree with having them free.
· A House is formed in Qohor claiming to be Dragonseeds which is backed up with most members having silver hair, styling themselves House Qarinarys.
· Due to a blood pact between the Sarnori Kingdom and Valyria made decades prior to the Doom, they cannot attack or rebel against one another, Essaria stop trading Qoherian Steel as they begin calling it.
· Insulted by the lack of income, they recruit the help of Norvos and Pentos too.
· For eight months the fighting continued until the final member of House Qarinarys was killed from being crushed in a dragons claw and dropped in the middle of the battlefield alongside all the leaders, Qohor step out and bend to the original ruling of them being overseen by House Dallaeron.
· Pentos is sacked by Gaemon Targaryen alongside Rhaena Velaryon and Raemon Velraenos with their massive fleet causing them to back down.
· Norvos and Lorath are now backed into a corner but the war comes to an end when the slaves revolt in both cities and leak the whereabouts of the leaders, House Rhaeleris and Rhaentheon dealing with them respectively and name someone from their city to command and oversee a new leadership.

Century of Blood - The Fall of Sarnor (45AD-70AD):
· Due to a decree made hundreds of years prior, the Sarnori are in an alliance with the Valyrian's.
· An agreement was made where they would be left to their own but if help was needed on either side, the other must send aid. There is also a lot of trade between the Freehold and the Kingdom further north.
· The Dothraki had always wanted the many grasslands in Sarnor added to the Dothraki sea, and they seized the opportunity when things had stabilised in the new Freehold after the Doom- something which the High King brushed off as false as he doubted their Kingdom would come to harm.
· Khal Mengo successfully sacks Sathar and moves further to Gornath and Sallosh, intending to add these too but is repelled back.
· The Khal does not like this and intends to try and make friends with them, beginning to trade with Sarnor and build a relationship. Eventually, the High King invites him to Saath where he rules, ignoring the warnings from Satharm, Gornath, and Sallosh's King's.
· The worries turn out to be true when Khal Mengo kills the High King under a sacred oath and commands his Khalasar to begin sacking the city. Word is sent to the Freehold asking for aid. Khal Mengo falls and his son Khal Moro takes over who was with the remainder of the Khalasar that had come together as one under his father.
· Khal Moro sacks Sathar again which has rebuilt mostly from his father doing the same a few years prior but ends it by putting everyone to the sword- including children. Women were taken as slaves to the Dothraki and sent to Meereen where the Ghiscari have been trying to go back to their original ways before the fifth Ghiscari war.
· The Valyrian's answer the call due to the agreement made hundreds of years prior, and House Dallaeron and Vaelaleas hear of the Ghiscari uprising, thus opting to put that down as they are closest.
· The other House's answer and travel to Saath to put an end to the Dothraki sacking the city still to find the damage has already been done. The survivors are carried on dragon back to Braavos where House Rhaeleris promise to aid them in getting their city back.
· Sallosh and Kasath fall to the Dothraki and they claim the area as part of the Dothraki Sea.
· Gornath aid when the King agrees to wed one of Khal Moro's daughters to solidify the Dothraki's hold on the area.
· Khal Horro slays Khal Moro and takes control of the Khalasar and immediately moved to Gornath and slays the King and takes Khal Moro's daughter to the Dosh Khaleen as a widow and slays their babes.
· The Khalasar breaks apart which incenses Khal Horro but the Valyrian's take note of such a thing and split accordingly to put an end to the invasion for good.
· Khal Koro moves back to the Dothraki Sea, wanting nothing more to do with the invasion- the Valyrian's agreeing he won't be an issue anymore so work on the other three Khal's that are now vying for control.
· The remaining Sarnori cities name Mazor Alexi as their High King and they begin planning with the Valyrian's to end the invasion.
· House Dallaeron and House Vaelaleas finally defeat the Ghiscari uprising and join in the fight, driving out the training Dothraki in Sathar, Sallosh, Gornath, and Kasath.. This traps the remaining Dothraki on three sides and they refuse to move north to what they consider poisoned water.
· Khal Loso sacks Sarnath and puts the city to the torch leaving no survivors and Khal Zeggo attempts to take Sarys but is ended by the Saath army with aid from two Valyrian families (Rhaentheon and Rhaeleris).
· Khal Zeggo is burned, Khal Loso is thrown from his horse and tramples by the fleeing Dothraki when the Valyrian's bring their dragons, Khal Horro is taken captive by Saath and tortured for weeks on end until he finally succumbs.
· By the end, five cities of Sarnor lie in smoking ruins, Sarys is deeply devastated with much of the city destroyed, only Saath and Essaria are left mostly unharmed.
· The Sarnori Kingdom falls as a result.
Century of Blood - The Reforming (98AD-102AD):
· For ninety-eight years, the remaining Valyrian families have been pleased with the layout, but Lord Freeholder Aegon Targaryen is not.
· Himself and his sister-wife Visenya Targaryen agree that House Targaryen is done being one of the lower families as during the century of blood they have had only two casualties- all other members have perished in childbed or natural causes.
· House Celtigar and House Velaryon agree with this and form an alliance by creating numerous marriage alliances.
· House Rhaeleris also agrees to this with the condition House Targaryen abolish slavery on Dragonstone- something which is granted as does House Velaryon. House Celtigar having stopped the practise when they were exiled from Valyria and had no choice but to look west for marriages for their members.
· The other House's do not like this other than House Tarennis who despite almost one hundred years passing, are still grateful to them and offer to lend some of their fleet and their army.
· A split is created between the Freehold: House's Targaryen, Velaryon, Celtigar, Rhaeleris, and Tarennis against House's Rhaentheon, Mellarys, Velraenos, Caeniar, Vaelaleas, and Dallaeron.
· By this point, only six families still have their dragons and they are split evenly, leaving little advantage.
· A council is called where all Lord and Lady Freeholder's meet up where Aegon states he wishes to return to having those in lower positions and those in higher positions like they did prior to the Doom, votes are split between House Targaryen and House Caeniar to be the top family of the Freehold.
· Visenya states that a House that lost all of its dragons due to a stupid move should not be in the position which heavily insults Lord Freeholder Visevor Caeniar and his wives Lady Freeholder Haela and Lady Freeholder Nesara massively.
· Due to their proximity, House's Vaelaleas, Dallaeron, and Caeniar have often married one another in the case there wasn't an equal number of boys and girls, meaning there is a slight possibility that a member or two will be able to bond with a dragon.
· Nesara succeeds in claiming House Dallaeron's largest that is not bonded which she names Vḗzos due to the pale yellow scales of the beast. Thus giving them an advantage as the she dragon is almost of a size with Balerion.
· House Caeniar has the might of the Volantene army and successfully recruits all of them resulting in an army of 50,000 to take the top position again.
· The main advantage House Targaryen have is Visenya being well versed in ancient sorcery and with Rhaenys being able to use glass candles. Many families forgetting both of these as their families in the original Freehold were not versed and as a result, did not pass the secret down.
· After a dozen battles, House Vaelaleas step down and acknowledges House Targaryen as the top House in the Freehold as do House Mellarys with numerous trades agreed with Dragonstone and the Stepstones.
· House Rhaentheon do not like this as their current Lord Freeholder is Lord Freeholder Mellarys' nephew and attack numerous isles in the Stepstones in retaliation.
· This is put down by House Velaryon's massive fleet which easily dwarves House Caeniar's fleet.
· The fighting continues for years but eventually House Caeniar agree to step down with the condition they remain in the top five which Aegon spits on, naming them into the lower three alongside House Celtigar and House Vaelaleas (who ask to remain low as they do not like having a top position)
· Order of House's go: Targaryen, Rhaentheon, Velaryon, Velraenos, Tarennis, Mellarys, Dallaeron, Rhaeleris, Caeniar, Vaelaleas, and Celtigar.
The First Faith Rebellion (141AD):
· For 100 years, the Faith have spit on Valyrian families and their tradition of wedding brother to sister. Neither tried anything though as all Lord Freeholder's and their wives were deadly. Only once Lord Freeholder Aenys (son of Lord Freeholder Aegon and one of his sister wives Rhaenys) do they take the opportunity to strike as he is considerably weaker than all others.
· First they try to convince Aenys to wed his children to children of Westerosi House's- preferably those lower than the North but north to Dorne but this is thwarted when his half-brother Maegor (son of Lord Freeholder Aegon and his second sister wife Visenya) convinces Aenys not to agree to the matches and weds his eldest two Rhaena and Aegon to one another- thus continuing the tradition of wedding brother to sister.
· This infuriates the Faith as they name the children abominations and begin to make a move with the support of the Kingdom's who follow Andal ideologies. Before the announcement was made, the High Septon had told King's their children would wed a Valyrian without the Valyrian's being aware of such an arrangement.
· Aenys attempts to make amends by offering his second son Viserys but his aunt Visenya stops and states they are Valyrian's, the blood must be pure or they risk losing their dragons like some Valyrian families. Viserys must wed another Valyrian but agree not to wed him to his other sister and instead to Maerella Dallaeron.
· Years pass and plans are made. Aenys falsely believing the hostility is resolved, agreed to send Rhaena and Aegon's twin daughters Aerea and Rhaella to the Citadel to learn, but the High Septon and the Faith Militant strike by taking the girls captive. Thus, House Targaryen proclaims war on the Faith.
· Aenys dies suddenly and it is believed to be poison but this was never proven.
· Aegon is killed outside Harrenhal by Harlon Hoare and to preserve Rhaena's honour, Maegor takes her as his second wife which only angers the Faith even more as the thought of a man having more than one wife is sinful according to the Seven-Pointed-Star.
· Maegor finds out the Faith Militant's base and he moves with Rhaena and Gaela Velaryon (his first wife who is able to bond with a dragon unlike many members of her family due to the magic in her blood being of a higher quantity). Gaela on Meraxes moves for the base alongside Visenya on Vhagar intending to offer peace terms. Whilst Rhaena and Maegor move for Harrenhal to get revenge for Aegon.
· Peace terms are offered but those high up in the Militant bring out both Rhaella and Aerea who have clearly been tortured and with blades held to their necks. In a panic, Gaela offers to talk to Maegor to see if he will dissolve his marriage to Rhaena and bring up her wedding a Westerosi which placates them.
· When they meet up again, Harrenhal is nought but a smoking ruin. Maegor refuses to go ahead with the plot and sends his most loyal men from many Dragonlord families to retrieve his wife's children. Viserys refuses not to be a part of it, wroth over the taking of his nieces and the insult to his older sister- also wanting revenge for his brother. Maegor agrees so long as he bonds with a dragon and he claims Quicksilver.
· Whilst this is going on, Jaehaerys and Alysanne claim Vermithor and Silverwing for themselves and having an easy time doing so as the bond was forming when they were in their eggs thanks to Rhaena's idea to place them in her siblings cribs when they were babes.
· They succeed in retrieving the girls but Viserys goes deeper in as he wants to kill the High Septon himself.
· Quicksilver is shot down from a bolt to the eye and Viserys is taken and tortured mercilessly for more than a week before his body gives out. When the High Septon sends his head to Dragonstone, Maegor and Visenya attack the Sept of Remembrance in retaliation.
· Rhaena kills the High Septon herself brutally and Gaela kills who was torturing Rhaella, Aerea, and Viserys.
· The Militant fails but is not disbanded. Agreements are made with King's and Queen's that they will allow some marriages but only with those who cannot bond to dragons anymore and it must be a first born. The terms are tentatively agreed on.
· Maegor dies a few years later and Visenya stands as regent until her grandniece and grandnephew come of age. To keep the blood pure and as one last insult, the siblings wed one another.
The Dance of the Dragons (229AD-231AD):
· The civil war of House Targaryen where the House was reduced to a handful of members and three dragons (two of which are wild and untameable).
· Lord Freeholder Viserys was well loved as was his wife Aemma Arryn despite being of Andal descent.
· Viserys and Aemma were wed at the end of the First Faith Rebellion to appease those in Westeros at the time.
· They have five children together. Rhaenyra who is heir to her fathers title as per Valyrian ruling, Aegon who loathes his sister, Aemond who is believed to be the result of infidelity but was never confirmed, Helaena who is always trying to breach the peace between the siblings, and Daeron who is constantly trailing behind Aegon and Aemond (Aemma dies birthing Daeron).
· Lord Admiral Daemon is not close with his brother and has been exiled to other cities a handful of times. Most notably to the Stepstones where he offered aid alongside Corlys Velaryon to Lord Freeholder Mellarys to expand to the unconquered islands.
· When it comes to betrothals, it is brought up Aegon and Rhaenyra wed to end the animosity alongside Aemond and Helaena, all of which refuse which angers Viserys massively.
· Instead, Aegon takes Helaena to wife, Aemond wishes for a Rhaentheon bride but neither member agrees to wed him due to the rumours about him not being Viserys' son.
· The rumours start with Aemond when he got older and people noticed he looked nothing like his father and instead full Andal with bright blue eyes and sandy blonde hair as opposed to golden or silver hair like most Valyrian's.
· The last time Daemon was exiled was due to him japing about Aemma's apparent infidelity.
· Daemon weds Laena Velaryon and Viserys attempts to wed Rhaenyra and Laenor Velaryon together but he refuses- stating he loves Alyssa Targaryen (daughter of Aeron Targaryen and Aerielle Vaelaleas, granddaughter of Rhaella Targaryen and Aegon Targaryen (cousins through Rhaena and Aegon, alongside Jaehaerys and Alysanne).
· Whilst negotiations are going on, Rhaenyra weds Daemon and becomes his second wife before her father can say anything about it, this leading to him allowing Daemon back which angers the three brothers heavily- especially Aemond.
· When Viserys dies, Daemon should become Lord Freeholder but Aegon doesn't stand for it, deciding to agree with his brothers plan for a coup.
· They decide not to alert Rhaenyra or Daemon of the death of their father and when she finds out, Aegon has already claimed the Lord Freeholder position.
· The tension had slowly been building between the siblings but this fractures them beyond repair.
· Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon side with Rhaenyra as do House Vaelaleas, all of House Velaryon, House Rhaentheon, House Mellarys, and House Tarennis. House Dallaeron and Caeniar opt to remain neutral. House Celtigar, Velraenos, and Rhaeleris stand with Aegon as they don't believe the infidelity rumours.
· Aemond travels to Storm's End to recruit his Baratheon cousins, and takes Cassandra Baratheon to bride, Lucerys Velaryon (Laenor and Alyssa's second son) travels intending to take a Baratheon bride too only to find his cousin already there. Aemond attacks Lucerys across the bay on Vhagar which ends in Lucerys and Arrax falling to their deaths and him missing an eye from the younger gauging it out.
· When Helaena finds out, she is horrified and once again tries to bring peace between the siblings but is ultimately overruled by her husband.
· Wroth with rage, Daemon and Corlys hire two assassins named Blood and Cheese from Westeros, where Aegon and Helaena's eldest child is slain 'a son for a son'. Helaena was given the option to choose a son to die, choosing their youngest Maelor as he is much younger, but Jaehaerys is killed instead. When Aegon finds out he locks Helaena away where she eventually goes mad and throws herself to the spikes outside Dragonstone.
· Aegon wishes to keep it to the Freehold only for the most part, but Daemon takes Harrenhal. Signs a deal with House Tully to rally the bannermen who wish to aid in the fight whilst Rhaenyra heads for the Reach for similar reasons as they have the largest army in Westeros.
· Aegon reaches out to Dorne but is refused, and he is also refused by the Crownland Lord's, much of the Stormland's refuse to partake in a Valyrian civil war.
· Jacaerys Velaryon flies to the Vale but is turned down due to familial reasons which is understandable, and he also flies to the North and quickly wins over King Cregan Stark to the cause, offering him a marriage between his bastard sister and his younger brother Joffrey which he accepts.
· Daemon meets with numerous Riverland Lord's in Harrenhal and a plan is formed, but there is a spy. Said spy sends word to Aegon of the plot and he strikes.
· Rhaenys attacks Aemond near the shore of Duskendale and might've won as Meleys is younger and faster whereas Vhagar is old and slow. Aegon intercepts the fight which ends in Aemond and Vhagar escaping, Sunfyre seriously injured alongside Aegon, and Rhaenys and Meleys die in the scuffle.
· When Corlys finds out he is heartbroken as he dearly loved his wife and his faith in Rhaenyra wavers slightly.
· Joffrey is sent to the Vale for safekeeping alongside a few eggs and his own dragon Tyraxes. Jacaerys mentions finding Dragonseed's to claim the wild and riderless dragons on Dragonstone. This is at first met with anger after Dragonseed's attacked during the Century of Blood, but calms the waters by stating Dragonseed's of current lines.
· Vermithor is claimed by Hugh Hammer, Silverwinf by Ulf the White, Seasmoke by Addam, Sheepstealer by Nettles, Grey Ghost by Alyn, and the cannibal remains riderless, no one daring to go near the dragon in question.
· Corlys confessed Addam and Alyn are his sons from before he was wed to Rhaenys and asks for them to be named Velaryon's which Rhaenyra agrees.
· House Mellarys switch allegiance to Aegon after Rhaenyra agrees to the request as they do not believe a bastard Valyrian should be in line for a Lord Freeholder position. They find Aegon barely holding on to life with Sunfyre nowhere to be found and smuggle him to Dragonstone where he remains in the castle unknowingly.
· Jacaerys flies with a few members of House Tarennis and Viserys Targaryen (Rhaenyra and Daemon's youngest) to demand why House Mellarys switched but are attacked by Myrish sellswords that were exiled. Vermax crashes into the sea and rocky shores of the Stepstones and Jacaerys dies. Viserys is presumed dead.
· As Joffrey is very young, Corlys decides to name Addam his heir but Driftmark is attacked by the sellswords and all his wealth and treasures burned.
· Daeron joins in the fighting and after a successful battle is named Daeron the Daring.
· Aemond finds it strange Daemon has been remaining ominously quiet at Harrenhal and travels there only to find the castle has been abandoned. He takes the castle and believes himself victorious.
· Wroth with the death of Jacaerys, Rhaenyra and Daemon attack the Stepstones and Myr, successfully taking both which weakens Aegon who has not been seen in months at this point.
· Aegon sends Maelor and Jaehaera into hiding upon hearing of this and demands Aemond and Daeron return to Dragonstone to put an end to their sister and mad uncle. Daeron agrees but Aemond refuses.
· They find out via glass candle what Rhaenyra and Daemon plan to do next. Sending an army to Tumbleton to engage with the small army Rhaenyra had there, Hugh Hammer and Ulf the White betray her and side with Aegon. Sacking the town.
· When Rhaenyra hears of the betrayal, she does not want to take chances. She orders Nettles return to her to face justice in the eyes of the Fourteen alongside Addam and Alyn. When Corlys finds out, he refuses to hand his sons over and is imprisoned by Rhaenyra. Addam and Alyn escape on their dragons.
· Daeron leads an army against his sisters supporters and wins only for House Tarennis to swoop in and attack back. Daeron dies in the fight.
· Grey Ghost is seen being attacked but everyone believes it is the Cannibal (instead it is Sunfyre having healed enough to fly again). Alyn manages to leap from his dragon and land with only a broken arm and dislocated shoulder.
· Aegon comes forward and takes Dragonstone but does not reveal himself to his sister yet whom believes he perished in the battle with Aemond and Rhaenys.
· Rhaenyra finds out Nettles has been sharing a bed with Daemon and is carrying his babe. Due to them not being wed, the babe will be a Dragonseed and she orders Nettles head be brought to her. Nettles manages to escape on Sheepstealer.
· Daemon takes that moment to strike Aemond. Offering a one on one battle at Harrenhal. A bloody fight occurs over the Gods Eye which ends in neither rider or dragon surviving. Daemon drowns, Caraxes is gutted but managed to clamber out of the lake before doing so, Aemond with Dark Sister in his other eye and out the back of his throat, and Vhagar unable to clamber to shore with her injuries.
· House Velaryon abandons Rhaenyra with her decision to imprison Lord Freeholder Corlys.
· With the loss, Rhaenyra writes to King Cregan offering for the marriage to happen then and she writes again to the Eyrie hoping for help from her mothers family.
· House Mellarys take back the Stepstones which drives Rhaenyra to head back to Dragonstone, but the occupants of the city on the island have had enough and storm House Targaryen's Dragonpit.
· Shrykos, Tyraxes, Dreamfyre, and Morghul are killed. Syrax is mounted by Joffrey Velaryon as he attempts to flee as he is being held captive but is attacked one last time by Sunfyre before the gold dragon lands in the courtyard of Dragonstone, Joffrey is thrown from the dragon and is torn by the angry mob on the ground.
· Baela (Daemon and Laena's daughter) escapes her imprisonment by Aegon when he took Dragonstone and attacks Sunfyre on Moondancer.
· She succeeds in seriously wounding the dragon and lands a hit on the chains holding Aegon in place, leading to him falling and breaking his legs to the point he can no longer stand. Moondancer perishes from her own wounds and Baela is taken captive again alongside her twin.
· Rhaenyra lands on Dragonstone with her older son as she believes her youngest is dead to find out what had happened.
· Aegon orders her captured and she is fed alive to Sunfyre with her son watching.
· This signals the end of the war but succession is in trouble. Only Jaehaera survives out of Aegon and Helaena's children.
· Corlys is released and he openly calls Aegon Lord Freeholder, denouncing Rhaenyra's line. But to put an end to it all suggests wedding Jaehaera and Aegon 'the younger' together to tie both sides of the family together again which he eventually agrees to do.
· News reaches Tumbleton of the end of the war but Rhaenyra's last army decides to die being loyal to the woman they swore for even if she is dead. A bloody battle ensues and Addam Velaryon makes an appearance again, attacking the Dragonseed's who betrayed Rhaenyra.
· All dragons and their riders die, and Addam is given a Valyrian right of passage for proving he was loyal until the very end.
· Aegon is officially named Lord Freeholder and the betrothal of Jaehaera and Aegon 'the younger' is announced. But it is to be a short stint when he is poisoned less than a year into the role.
· After her fathers death, Jaehaera follows in her mothers footsteps and throws herself onto the same spikes.
· Cregan Stark arrives eventually and Aegon makes him an offer of a Valyrian bride for his bastard sister, she can choose to her liking at their monthly councils and if said person is not betrothed he will secure the marriage.
· Aegon takes Daenaera Velaryon (Corlys' grandniece) to wife but the marriage is not consummated for many more years.
· Viserys reappears and is welcomed, stating he was rescued by House Tarennis and kept in Lys by the Rogare's. To further tie the two sides together, he weds Daenaera's sister Jaenera Velaryon.
· Rhaena's egg hatches and is the only dragon House Targaryen have left as the Cannibal is never seen again.
· The next two decades are perilous for House Targaryen but things begin to look up when Morning lays a large clutch of eggs after mating with a dragon of House Dallaeron. Most of the eggs hatch after being claimed by the next generation of the family. Slowly they rebuild back to the power they had prior to the war.
The Dornish Uprising (265AD-267AD):
· For years, the Dornish have seethed in anger that many Valyrian families survived as if it weren't for them, their ancestors would never have had to flee.
· Princess Meria is seen as a hero by the Dornish due to her resilience when House Mellarys found out who their ancestors had been and had decided to put an end to the Rhoynish wars, meaning there is a lot of bad blood between House Nymeros Martell and House Mellarys.
· Numerous petty squabbles have broken out after the Doom but in 264 AD, Prince Lewyn Martell seeks to put an end and make an example that his people are now stronger than the Valyrian's.
· An invite is sent to Lord Freeholder Haemon Mellarys and to his cousin-wife Aella Mellarys to discuss talks. Aella is heavy with their fifth babe at the time, and neither of the pair take their dragons seeking to hand over an olive branch, calling peace on a centuries long war between the Freehold and the Rhoynish.
· Instead, Prince Lewyn has Lord Freeholder Haemon taken captive and Aella is beaten until she loses her child.
· Upon hearing this, the remaining members of House Mellarys are rightfully furious and descend on Sunspear with all of their dragons.
· Some Dornish House's disagree with the decision to revolt against the Valyrian's but others are for it as they are fiercely loyal to House Nymeros Martell.
· It ends in a civil war in Dorne alongside a full scale invasion by the Freehold.
· Many castles are sacked, many towns are put to flame, but Prince Lewyn will not stand down as his hatred runs so deep.
· Princess Lera is taken hostage which only angers Prince Lewyn even more as she is his wife. If he steps out of line, she will be killed.
· The rebels as it becomes known break into the Water Gardens to find Lord Freeholder Haemon has been tortured into insanity but they find Lady Freeholder Aella chained up in fury over her husbands fate.
· Aella is freed but many of the rebel Lord's are killed for betraying their ruler by going against his wishes, angering the remaining rebels more.
· Once at full strength, Aella asks for a parlay but Prince Lewyn once again refuses, completely oblivious to the fact he is being cornered from all sides.
· This is the final insult and Aella threatens to rain fire down on Sunspear.
· Prince Maron and Princess Myriah have enough of his fathers quest for vengeance and publicly sides with the rebels which fully corners Prince Lewyn as now he has no heir supporting him.
· A bloody battle commences on the sand surrounding the castle where Prince Lewyn is slain by a rebel Lord, putting an end to the uprising.
Due to Prince Maron and Princess Myriah's defiance, both are rewarded with a Valyrian spouse, thus signalling the end of a centuries long war. Prince Maron weds Jaelesa Rhaentheon and Princess Myriah weds Daeron Targaryen. Maekar Targaryen weds Dyanna Dayne to keep favour with Dorne.
The Second Faith Rebellion (296 AD):
· Despite more than 150 years passing, the Faith still do not accept the incestuous tradition Valyrian families have. They want to expand their influence and with the Militant being larger than it ever has, agree it is time to make a move.
· Slowly, they move further south, north, and west.
· Septon's and Septa's send ravens to the Valyrian families closest to Westeros stating they would like to learn more of their ways and culture. Many refuse to even consider it an option but Lord Freeholder Baelor agrees to invite some to Dragonstone which other Valyrian families do not appreciate.
· Baelor is converted to the Seven and due to his new beliefs, dissolved his marriage to his sister wife Daena and proceeds to lock her and his sisters Rhaena and Elaena away, swearing never to bare a child by his sister.
· Furious at his cousins actions, Aegon takes Daena to wife which angers Baelor massively as now he has two wives which goes against the Seven.
· Years pass and despite constant arguing, Aegon refuses to dissolve his marriage to Daena to protect her honour.
· Baelor dies after a fool's errand into Dorne to try and convince the Rhoynish to convert too.
· As Baelor and Daena had no children, Aegon becomes Lord Freeholder of Dragonstone and names his brother Aemon as Lord Admiral.
· Rumours begin to spread that Aegon's and Naerys' children are in fact Aemon's children, the Faith bank on this and spread it further and it reaches many Valyrian families causing a scandal that is unprecedented.
· With these words, Aegon dissolves his marriage to Naerys and due to their custom, weds Aemon to protect her honour which adds more fuel to the already burning flames. In anger, Aemon kills all Septon's and Septa's on Dragonstone whilst convincing his brother that he has never lain with Naerys and therefore the children are his.
· Aegon does not listen and scorns his children, naming his son to Rhaena his heir instead, finalising this by presenting him Blackfyre.
· The decision is accepted by the Faith as cousin to cousin matches are not considered incestuous and therefore not a sin to the Seven.
· When Aegon dies, Daemon takes the position. Aemon does not accept this and publicly backs his nephew Daeron for the Lord Freeholder position.
· Daemon has support from the Sunset Kingdom's due to his ascension being recognised but it is agreed Daeron takes the position.
· Valyria comes out on top and the Faith lose.
The War of Succession (297 AD-320AD):
· Whispers are spread in the Freehold that the result of the Second Faith Rebellion is now no longer accepted.
· By Valyrian law, the eldest child takes the Lord or Lady Freeholder position and if they are not wed, are to wed before being sworn to the position as per the Fourteen.
· Thus, with Daena being the eldest child of Aegon Targaryen and Daenaera Velaryon, her son Daemon should have been Lord Freeholder and not Daeron as this follows Andalosi ideals. Valyrian's are not Andalosi.
· As Daemon has already fallen, it does not take long to get the support of House Tarennis as his wife Tyanna was Lord Freeholder Rhaenar's third daughter. Rhaenar wants Aegon to take over instead of Daeron and seeks to have him wed to a powerful Valyrian House.
· Aegon is wed to Nesaelyra Caeniar and Aemon is wed to Daenyra Tarennis to bind them together.
· Aemon 'The Dragonknight' is wroth when he hears this but Naerys calms him down.
· Due to Daeron being wed to Myriah Martell and having four sons himself, he understandably does not want his children to be overthrown, urges his sons to claim a fully grown dragon and not a hatchling. All but Maekar do so as he is already bonded to Heryx.
· Aemon finally agrees that by their succession laws, Daemon should've been Lord Freeholder meaning Aegon should be the next Lord Freeholder.
· House Martell proclaim for Daeron for this due to sharing kin.
· House Tarennis, Mellarys, Martell, Caeniar, and Rhaeleris proclaim for Aegon, House Velaryon and Celtigar opt to remain neutral due to numerous familial links, House Dallaeron, Rhaentheon, Velraenos, and Vaelaleas proclaim for Daeron.
· Aegon is slain by Aemon 'The Dragonknight' which is seen as a sin by the Fourteen to kill ones kin, Naerys is horrified by what her husband has done and tries to talk him out of it but this falls on deaf ears. Stating Daeron is her son and that she should be on his side, leading to an explosive fight between the married siblings. A fight which was never resolved despite both remaining wed until their deaths.
· With Aegon's death, Aemon pushes for the title that by their laws, should be his. To further bind the rebelling side together, Nesaelyra is wed to Daemon Tarennis (Daenyra's brother).
· With House Targaryen split down the middle, this fractures them and they are no longer seen as one of the top three of the House's which survives.
· Disgusted by the slaying, House's Velaryon and Celtigar side in favour with Aemon which angers the older Aemon, Daeron, and Maron massively.
· Aemon names his younger brother Daemon his heir who has been wed to Rhaeannys Velaryon for five years but they do not have children together as Rhaeannys is said to prefer to company of women to men.
· Haegon weds their sister Calla keeping the blood pure but Aenys refuses to wed yet.
· Aeron Targaryen is killed by Maron during one of the battles which is seen to further curse House Targaryen as despite Maron not being blood, he is kin through marriage.
· Naerys tries to talk sense into Daeron and Maron but neither will listen. Daenerys goes against her brother and weds Daemon, turning the tides in the opposing sides favour.
· Daeron and Aemon denounce Daenerys as a result.
· Daemon falls as does Daeron's eldest son Aerys. Due to tradition, Aelinor is wed to Rhaegel as a second wife which causes House Celtigar to support Daeron's claim due to Rhaegel's first wife being Alyssa Celtigar. Aenys takes Daenerys to wife for similar reasons.
· Haegon and Calla have a child they name Daemon out of respect of their father which further adds fuel to the already burning fire.
· Word spreads on Rhaegel's worsening mental state and many refuse to back him splitting the supporters of Daeron and moving to Haegon as a result.
· Daemon doesn't survive infancy- many suspect this to have been poison but was never proved.
· Haegon is killed in battle and in despair over the loss of her husband and son, Calla ties rocks to her feet and throws herself into the sea. Thus, splitting Daenerys and Daeron in two. Only now does Aemon decide not to take part as he will not condone two siblings at war with one another. Myriah finally convinces Daeron to step down and he discusses at length with Aenys. Aenys agrees to step down from the position but when he and Daenerys have a babe, the babe will be wed to a grandchild of Daeron.
· Those supporting Daeron do not agree and Gaenor Caeniar slays Aenys leaving no room for more fighting.
Ninepenny Kings (358AD):
· In 350 AD, numerous people were expelled from the Stepstones by Lord Freeholder Gaemon Mellarys after being found beating slaves that were not their own.
· Under Mellarys rule, it is stated slaves were never to be harmed physically, and harming a slave that was not ones own was exiled if caught once, and executed if caught twice.
· All travel to Qohor which took on a life of its own considering there were not enough true Valyrian House's for one to take over much like Lorath, Pentos, and Norvos- said cities and area between being named the disputed lands.
· Whilst in exile, nine grow resentful and create their own mercenary company intending to get revenge on the family who exiled them.
· Firstly, they attacked unmarked lands in the south west of Essos to occupy House Tarennis, House Rhaentheon, and House Velraenos. Thus leaving the eastern border free.
· With the distraction, they successfully take many islands in the Stepstones without House Mellarys finding out.
· By the time they catch on to what is happening, a lot of damage has been done.
· Gaemon knows he cannot win on his own as the islands that were taken were the ones with most of their ships. To take them back, they need more. Hence, reaching out to House Targaryen and House Velaryon who are known for their expansive navy.
· Lord Freeholder Jaehaerys Targaryen agrees to fight and Lucerys Velaryon agrees to send his strongest ships.
· With the combined force they take back the islands but fail to capture three of the people who started everything.
· Assuming they either drowned or decided not to continue, all travelled back. A few months later, the mercenary company which was started by them showed their true size (15,000 recruits) alongside an army of Qohori and Lorathi who seek to show they can rule themselves and don't need to rely on the Freehold.
· This angers all of the Valyrian House's and a war breaks out from the Freehold against northern Essos intending to claim it as their own and create a new House- taking notes from Westerosi who do similar.
· Lorath surrender after three battles, the third battle being lost when two dozen dragons attacked alongside a Valyrian army. Qohor does not submit and as a result is razed to the ground and now all that is left is a smoking ruin.
· Two of the mercenaries that escaped were in Qohor and thus perished, the remaining one is handed over by Lorathi to House Rhaeleris in nearby Braavos.
The Third Faith Rebellion (381AD):
· For nearing four hundred years, Valyrian's have not taken an interest with Westeros. Focusing solely on the Freehold and taking down those who dare go against them. The Faith Militant rises once more and the High Septon orders the deaths of thousands for even the slightest of sins.
· Their view on incest has never changed and the idea of anything that could not be explained by what was written in the Seven-Pointed-Star is alien to them. Therefore, the increasing magic of the Valyrian's makes the Eleven loathed.
· Late 281 AD, a plot is formed with King's and Queen's to bring an end to Valyrian's barbaric practises. Coming together united for once as there is no other way they will be defeated (The Reach and the Riverland's remain neutral).
· Due to their proximity to the mainland, House's Targaryen, Velaryon, Celtigar, and Mellarys are the main targets.
· King Robert Baratheon (Lord Freeholder Aerys' cousin removed) of the Stormland's weds Princess Cersei Lannister of the Westerland's to combine two of the largest armies in Westeros together.
· King Jon Arryn also joins in as a devout follower himself and King Rickard Stark sees an opportunity to get revenge on the Faith attempting (and failing) for hundreds of years to turn his people into followers of the Seven.
· King Mace Tyrell does not join as House Tyrell are indebted to House Dallaeron for turning over King Garon Gardener during the Second Faith Rebellion. Similarly, King Hoster Tully refuses to partake as after the attack of Harrenhal in the First Faith Rebellion which eliminated House Hoare, they were elevated to Rulers of the Riverland's- formally an independent Kingdom from the Iron Islands.
· Queen Lyarra is told of her husband's plan to enact revenge and does not agree, nor do any of the Stark children.
· King Rickard agrees to wed his daughter to Prince Jaime Lannister which prompts Queen Lyarra to flee with Lyanna and her youngest son Benjen to Dragonstone to warn them of the plot.
· Lord Freeholder Aerys does not take kindly to the news and flies on Laeryxan to Storm's End to demand his cousin to stand down or face the wroth of Valyria.
· This fails spectacularly as due to the blood link; House Baratheon are aware of the weak spots of a dragon. Aerys is shot down, taken captive, tortured, and finally drowned in Shipbreaker's Bay.
· After his fathers death, Rhaegar becomes Lord Freeholder and knowing they will need help, sends his wife Elia to Dorne to recruit her brothers and their men to their side. Also taking Lyanna as a second wife with her mothers consent (which King Rickard refuses to acknowledge and convinces himself it was forced to save face with King Tywin).
· Prince Eddard argues with his father and out of anger, reinstates his eldest son as his heir which Brandon refuses to do, stating he will not put his wife or children in danger for his own ego.
· Word of Lord Freeholder Aerys' death reaches the other Valyrian families who immediately head west to join forces to put an end to the rebellion for good.
· Lord Freeholder Monford Velaryon's wife Salaera is taken when Driftmark is temporarily left undefended and is later killed by the Faith Militant by being cut into seven pieces intending to scatter her throughout the Kingdom's.
· King Rickard is killed during the battle of Gulltown as are King Jon's heirs. Prince Eddard becomes King and with his new power orders his men to march back to the North as they will not partake in southern wars. King Jon is offered the opportunity of being gifted a fertile Valyrian wife and that his eldest child to said wife will wed another Valyrian. He does not agree to this and attacks who made the offer but is crushed by a dragons claw for harming their rider.
· King Robert and King Tywin make it as far as the Blackwater, refusing to back down.
· King Mace decides to join in by sending his men to besiege Storm's End to curry favour with the Valyrian's in hopes of a marriage.
· Prince Doran and Prince Oberyn join the fight and combined with Lord Freeholder Rhaegar and his pregnant mother Rhaella's monstrous sized dragons, put an end to the war by burning the largest Sept in Westeros. All other Dragonlords follow suit by destroying every Sept in Westeros.
· Princess Lyanna discovers she is with babe and bonds with Princess Elia.
· The High Septon finally admits defeat with much of the Faith Militant being scorched but is not spared his life. The Valyrian's stating they will not force them to convert but their next High Septon must swear never to take up arms against them again.
· King Robert moves to Storm's End to free his brothers from the Tyrell siege and when he arrives finds out they have lost. In a rage, he ascends on Highgarden only to be stopped by Rhaegar himself who has been following in the clouds atop Shadow. Rhaegar demands Robert back down but Robert challenges him to a duel. Robert is defeated but Rhaegar spares his life as they are blood.
· King Tywin steps down when it becomes apparent he is the last one standing but refuses to dissolve the marriage of Robert and Cersei as Cersei has just found out she is with babe which the Stormland's accept so long as the child weds a child of one of their bannermen.
· Prince Benjen travels back to the North with his mother as it is agreed to prevent another uprising, Eddard must wed a female from a House who refused to partake.
· Princess Lyanna, Elia, Rhaegar, Rhaenys, and Viserys travel to the North to see her home Kingdom and to be present for the marriage of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully.
· Princess Catelyn is given a five year adjustment period to convert to the Old Gods.
· Lyanna gives birth to Aemon in her childhood bedroom in Winterfell.
· All travel back to Dragonstone and begin repairing the damage from the war.
· Lord Freeholder Aerys is given the burial and funeral deserved.
· Five months later, Rhaella goes into early labour with Daenerys and does not survive.
· Viserys is betrothed to Maela Velaryon, Rhaenys and Aegon are betrothed to one another, as are Aemon and Daenerys when all come of age.
