turkey, in his attempts to make friends with greece, has just had a long conversation on discord about cats, time and space and how cats and time and space were interconnected. (the conversation was more like greece monologuing and turkey reading said monologue.) now u know why greece is always sleepy, during nighttime, he monologues with people about philosophical and scientific stuff in order to de-stress and fall asleep.

once that was over (bc greece finally felt sleepy), turkey was like "let's find someone else to chat with cuz I still don't feel like sleeping, I hope they're not gonna monologue like greece, whatever, if they're not my friend, I can just leave at the start of the monologue"

then he decided to join some random server. he typed the first thought he had in his head (which was yogurt due to spending too much time around bulgaria recently). the random server he joined turned out to be the yogurt fanclub

tbh until 1905, I though that yogurt fermentation was god's work

but then a doctor named stamen grigorov discovered the lactobacillus bulgaricus bacteria

some time later they also discovered streptococcus thermophilus

and now I know how yogurt's really made!

although I really liked the idea of its divine descent :(

btw what are your favourite yogurt brands at your place? my favourite yogurt brands at my place are vereya and mladost, they have a really nice aroma and consistency

sayana and bozhentsi are also pretty pog

I tend to eat 2% yogurt during short work breaks in the late morning bc 3,6% is too dense and satiates me way too quickly (which results in some of it remaining uneaten)

but whenever I feel hungrier, I get myself 3,6% olympus yogurt

I wonder if its name makes it more greek and less bulgarian?

actually idk and idc it's tasty

other brands are cool too but there are some exceptions

oh and don't buy bor-chvor, they put starch in it

like if u drop iodine on it, it will turn purple

but if u feel like eating yogurt with starch, then thats ur yogurt!

as far as I know they put starch in yogurt so there's no whey

why do people hate whey, it's pretty pog idk

maybe the other brands also add starch but they modify the starch so it doesn't react with iodine?

also sba's yogurt is like ayran it sucks but it's 1/2 of the price of other yogurts

nothing beats homemade yogurt tho

it's simply the best

and ur sure that there's no starch added

it's important to experience ur culture

I remember like over 1300 years ago when I was still little & living with him and my bro when instead of sleeping at night, I'd stare into the starry sky through the opening of the yurt and wait for some divine ray of light to illuminate the covered bowls full with milk

but no divine rays came yet the milk fermented into yogurt

but u'know how u always put some yogurt mixed with fresh milk as a starter into the warm milk

so I thought

well if it's not gonna be some divine rays

then it might be the starter that we add

or that the rays are invisible

and they turn the entire milk into the starter

like they activate the starter and give it power to covert the remaining milk into yogurt

but u always need starter to create more yogurt... yet the starter is actually yogurt that has remained uneaten

which one was first? the starter or the yogurt?

that's why I used to think that the first yogurt came as a meteor from heaven

or that maybe every yogurt was made with heaven's intervention

I wasn't really sure until 1905 as I told u earlier

btw don't u think that yogurt is similar to culture and nationhood?

in the same way that you use starter to create yogurt that is used as a starter to create yogurt that is used as a starter for more and more yogurt, parents teach their children about their culture so they can pass it onto their children one day who will pass it onto their children one day and so on
