About four days ago...

We change the scene to a large city which consisted of tall buildings, busy and not-busy streets, and in the middle there's a very big digital and analog clock tower in the middle of it. It's so big, you can see it from almost anywhere in the city, no matter where you are.

This city also had five-pointed stars pretty much all around.

There were stars on the buildings, benches, street lights, even the clock tower had a giat star on top of it.

You might be thinking, 'How obvious are they gonna make it that this is the universe the Superstars came from?'

Well, you'd be right.

This town's called Starlight Town; named after the original Superstar, and I don't mean Aaron or Greta.

See, in this universe there's a couple of things I gotta go through first.

In the universe Aaron and Greta were transported into, the way things are the way you saw it went like this:

Kids were pretty much the soul inhabitants of Earth and were free to do whatever they wanted; it was their paradise. Later, they got bored and created adults to do stuff for them and force them to take care of them.

One adult by the name of Mr. Wigglestien had had enough and delivered the first spanking to one of the children, which led to the adults being banished and exiled away from 'Kidland'.

To get back at the kids, they created things like toys, fast food, and a zillion other things kids couldn't resist. If kids wanted these things, they had to do labor for adults to earn allowances to buy them.

The kids got back at the adults by going for their energy source, coffee, and tried to get rid of it, but it didn't work like they planned.

Deciding that the age of kids was over, the adults banded together to give each and every kid a big timeout.

War between adulthood and childhood broke out, but the adults armory was overpowering the kids', giving the kids no choice but to flee to the Moon in a large rocket.

Things went peaceful...for a while.

You see, adults missed having kids do stuff for them, and the kids weren't able to get in touch with life on the Moon and they weren't able to do what they could do on Earth on it.

To fix this issue, some adults and kids got together in small groups called families on Earth.

...Only for it to be a trick...on the most part.

Adults later created things like schools to drain kids' memories of the history of all of this, and even more tempting things that kids wanted.

Which is how the Kids Next Door started; to stand up against adultery, and to help kids everywhere and to protect their childhoods.

Now that that's been told, you must be wondering, 'Okay, but what's so different about this reality and the one Aaron and Greta came from?'

Well, remember how I mentioned that kids and adults joined together to create families? That happened differently.

A long time ago in the universe Aaron and Greta came from, the adults and kids did miss one another -the adults needing kids to work for them, and the kids not being able to live on the Moon like they could on Earth-, but both sides were too proud to admit it.

Of someone asked an adult or kid 'Don't you think we took things a little far?', they'd say no and pretended like they were fine, while on the inside, they didn't like living like this.

One adult male however was confused by all this chaos.

He kept wondering if all this madness was really worth it. Kid or adult, they were all still human at the end of the day, but everyone was acting so inhumane.

One night, he wished, 'I wish that I had a way to make everyone see the peace we could bring' on a shooting star.

He did get his wish however...when the shooting star came soaring to Earth and crashed into him, sending him into the ground. Don't worry, he survived.

When he got the star off him, that gold glow it had before crashing had disappeared, but the man ended up feeling different. How different? Well he felt faster and a lot stronger, and very energized.

The power from the star had been absorbed into the man. When he finally got a hold of the power after a couple of days, he realized he now had the power to solve his problem.

He vowed, 'I'll make this right or my last name isn't Palmer.'

Yep, if you haven't guessed it already, this man was a member of Aaron's family. That's how he got his powers.

Anyway, he got all the adults in one place, and he demanded that they created a one way shuttle for him to go to the Moon, and try to talk with the kids.

The jerk who was a part of this mess, Mr. Wigglestien, wanted to know just what he was thinking, thought the kids were brats, and said they were better off without them.

When he said that to his face, Mr. Palmer had had. Enough. Of him.

With all the star power in him, he gave him a punch so hard, it sent him flying. Over the horizon!

There're rumors about what happened to him, but no one saw him again after that. No one. Period. And/or exclamation point.

After they saw what Mr. Palmer did to Mr. Wigglestien, they quickly got to work on a rocket, not wanting to meet the same fate he did.

Palmer wanted it to be one way, because he knew that if he could just talk to the kids on the Moon, he could figure something out, and they could all come back to Earth peacefully without any problems on the ship all the kids came to the Moon in.

When Mr. Palmer made it to the Moon -Not needing any space suit or helmet because his star power helped him breathe in space and survive the cold harsh environment just fine- , the kids immediately got on the defensive and had weapons aimed at him.

After surprising the kids by throwing a throwing star, which traveled around and broke all the weapons they were holding, Mr. Palmer made sure that he came in peace, and was not going to harm anyone in any way, shape, or form.

A bit intimidated by Mr. Palmer's star power, they felt as if they had no choice but to hear him out.

They calmed down when he spoke to all of them in a calm relaxed manor that he knew that they missed life on Earth and he could help them. He suggested that they all go with him to Earth, and he help them negotiate something with the adults.

They thought it was a bit sketchy that an adult was willing to make peace with kids, so they were reluctant at first and the kids denied, but Mr. Palmer said that he'd protect them if any adults gave them trouble.

He pinkie promised, and everyone knows you can't go back on those.

The kids thought that they might as well give it a shot.

They all went back to Earth, and Mr. Palmer got every adult and kid he could find altogether so they could work something out.

In the end, Mr. Palmer came up with the concept of families, so kids and adults could live together under peace and love.

Both sides rejected that idea in a heartbeat, thinking it'll never work, saying they could never trust each other enough to love each other.

'How can you not trust someone if you haven't gotten to know them yet?' was his response.

That got both sides talking amongst themselves.

In the end, they agreed to it, but they had a feeling they wouldn't like it.

Shows what they know, because after given time, the people within families started to be comfortable with each other. And trust one another. And love each other.

Families became a big thing, and there weren't any issues. Even when schools were invented.

Trust me, like I said before, they don't drain memories, they teach true history, and help teach kids real knowledge and education for the jobs you want.

Oh yeah, you can get a job very easily in this universe.

Kids could be architects, firefighters, lawyers, news people, writers, and a lot of other occupations I can't list right now.

Age ain't an issue, it's the education you need for the job that matters.

Do you know what the youngest age of a kid who ran to be mayor of Starlight Town was? Eight, and they had to understand certain things that the adults taught so they could run to be a good enough person to take care of the city.

They won the election, too!

If you pass two certain tests in school based off a subject you took, you can get any job relating to that subject *finger snap* like that.

Sure, you'd still have to go to school until you turned eighteen, but the system would work out a schedule that helped you manage your school and work days so it all evens out.

After that, they made work of other products that kids could like as a way of appreciation like better toys, collectibles, and other things I can't think of at the moment.

Later, all ages worked together to improve technology like making new age phones, cars, computers, and even modes of transportation.

Then, over time, some other things went down in that universe's planet Earth that were...strange yet easy to get used to.

You ever heard of scrap pirates? Or candy westerns?

I didn't think so, but more stuff like that in later chapters. I promise we'll come back to it. Eventually.

All you need to gather from this is that Mr. Palmer helped the war between all ages end, and helped protect anyone and everything he could as the world's first Superstar.

No adult tyranny or need for the Kids Next Door to be started here, just peace, love, and trust.

Okay, we've officially talked about this for way too long; let's head back to the story, shall we?

In Starlight Town, there's an area way west of the clock tower: a place made of three buildings, surrounded by grass, some fencing outside the perimeter, a flagpole with the American flag flying in the wind some distance away from the gates on the fence.

It's a school for all ages called All Star Academy.

And yep, you guessed it, this is the school Aaron and Greta go to.

Suddenly, we hear the school bells go *RIIIIIIIIIIIING!* across the campus, and the gates to the fences open automatically.

Right when we see lots of children of all ages walking out of them while conversating with each other.

Amongst them, we see Aaron and Greta look at each other before nodding.

In a flash, Aaron was in his Starwear, and Greta's sweater changed into her Starsuit.

They sped though the other students in gold and blue blurs and ran straight for the clock tower in the center of town.

They both ran up the side of the clock tower before coming to rest on it's roof. They always go there for patrol.

Right now, Aaron materialized a pair of star-shaped, goldish-yellow binoculars in his hands and was on the lookout for anything bad. Greta on the other hand was sitting behind him, pencil in her hand, homework in the other.

"Hey, Aaron," Greta asked Aaron, getting his attention, "I have this project in social class, and they said I need to tell about myself."

"*scoffs* More like sell yourself. I hate projects like that." Aaron said.

"Well, I was hoping you could give me some pointers and tips? I've never done a project like this before."

"Eh, sure thing. Hmm...Take me for example."

Aaron made the binoculars dissipate, before taking a seat next to Greta.

"'Hi. My name is Aaron Palmer. I'm fourteen years old, an honor student and role model at All Star Academy, and in a...complicated relationship with a girl I've known for some time.'"

"You think you and Clover'll start talking again?"

"I'unno, I'm still a little upset with some things."

Clover is Aaron's ex-girlfriend. That's a story for another time, though.

"Anyway, 'I try as hard as I possibly can to be the best me I can be from examples of one of the biggest inspirations in my life: my dad and mom.'"

"Humble brag, Aaron."

"'Then, a while back I was given powers that were passed down from the world's biggest inspiration: The original Superstar.'"

"Wh-Aaron! You know the teachers said that you and I can't involve anything relating hero stuff into any of our schoolwork!"

"Hey, I said it's an example, didn't I? *clears throat* 'With the starlight power I was given, I've saved countless lives and try to be as great or as greater than the O.G. Superstar. Everyday's never dull because it's almost like an endless battle between good and bad. It might not be easy, and it can get chaotic, but hey, it's a heroes job to take care of it.

This power's mine, and I'm gonna use it to save anyone I can. Even if I save one person a day, it's worth it.'"

"That was...amazing, Aaron." Greta complimented, "But, I can never be like you. I'm no Aaron Palmer."

"No duh, girl. You're Greta Kane. 'You're seven years old and one of the smartest kids in town with an I.Q. of over three hundred.' What else?"

"Uh, well...'I'm a straight-A student at All Star Academy,'" Aaron gestured for her to go on. "'and I'm good friends with one of the science teachers there: Dr. Maya, who's a master in all sciences, and I work part time as her assistant outside of school. I also-"

Aaron raised an eyebrow when Greta stopped.

"*sigh*...I also help my superpowered brother whenever people need help by being a hero myself. One of my inventions, the Starsuit, helps me keep up with him. My first model was built with the help of Dr. Maya, who regularly helps Aaron and I whenever we need it. She's like a third member of our group.'"

"Now who's doing humble brags?" Aaron said smugly.

"'I might've learned to be a Superstar from Aaron, but I could never be a Superstar just like him.

I knew if I had to be a great Superstar, I had to be myself, and be my own Superstar and use my own talents.

But that didn't mean I couldn't always rely on him. We're a team, and Superstars stick together.'"

Aaron smiled once he heard Greta say their team motto, but Greta let out an annoyed groan when she finished.

"Aaron, I don't know. I can't talk about me without talking about being a Superstar."

"Yeah, but don't worry. These are examples, remember? You'll find a way."

Aaron's Astro-sense went off before he looked over to his right.

"Trouble?" Greta asked, putting her stuff away in her backpack.

"Trouble." Aaron said with a nod.

Both Greta and Aaron stretched before running to then jumping off the edge of the clock tower. They fell for a bit before running down the side of it in gold and blue blurs.

They reached the bottom before running through the city towards where the emergency was.

When they made it, they were shocked with how the area looked.

"Oh my stars." Aaron said.

The entire place was covered in black streaks, as if someone set off a black paint bomb and it exploded causing a big mess.

Black streaks covered parts of the buildings, cars, and street. People who were nearby were trying to pull themselves free from dark tendrils coming from the streaks all over the place.

Both Superstars went to work with trying to free people from those tendrils.

It wasn't easy, because those things had a strong grip.

After Aaron got the last one in the area out of here, he turned to Greta, "Is it who I think it is?"

"I have a hunch. Throw a flash star at some of it."

Aaron made a flash star at some of the blackness and when it went off, the light had made some of it react to the light; some of it got vaporized, and some of it peeled back as if it was alive and the light hurt it.

Aaron: "*sigh* Great. Shade's back."

Time for another villain explanation, I guess.

Shade's...man, where do I start with this guy?

He's like the top villain of Starlight Town, and Aaron's number one enemy. No one knows who he really is or where he came from, just his name and powers.

If his name wasn't a clue to you, the darkness relates to his abilities. All those black streaks? That's pure concentrated darkness that came from Shade himself. He's one with, and controls the shadows. And if they're used correctly, he can use them to control people. You'll see it in action soon enough.

The main weakness of this darkness is a strong enough light source, like Aaron's flash stars. Shade's darkness doesn't seem to have an effect on Aaron's star power. Both sets of power are just as powerful as each other like water is with fire.

Which make Aaron and Shade complete opposites, and the worst rivals you'll ever meet.

"Shade..." Greta said, "No one's seen him for weeks. Why's he showing up now?"

"No idea, but I can tell the reason can't be good. C'mon, we gotta find him before- *feels Astro-sense go off* Look out!"

Aaron tackled Greta away when a large stream of darkness traveled across the street and continued down it, scaring off any people nearby.

After they got up, Aaron said, "Follow that darkness!"

They sped down the street, following where the shadows came from.

The followed it where to where it looks to had been a part where it had been a part of a three-way split.

Where the three streams connected, they followed that path and found a part of town that was just covered in darkness.

"How on Earth is there this much?" Aaron said, starting to get rid of the darkness with some flash stars as he walked around.

Greta went to some of of it, and scanned it with her goggles.

"Um, Aaron?" Greta called out, "You should take a look at this."

"Take a look at what?" Aaron asked, coming over.

"This is Shade's darkness, but there's something different about this stuff."

"Different how?"

"It's more...darker. And it's a bit more dense. Maybe even stronger. What was Shade up to?"

Aaron's Astro-sense went off again, and he looked to see some people coming this way.

What was peculiar about them was the spiky domino masks on their faces and white eyes.

That's what it looked like when Shade's darkness took over people.

It grabs a hold of their negativity and it overcomes their will, allowing Shade to tell them to do whatever he tells them to.

And a whole horde of them were coming this way to attack the Superstars.

After Greta also spotted them, Aaron said, "Greta, lets smack the dark outta these folks."

"I'm with you."

The two sped towards the crowd and started to literally knock the darkness out of them. When they landed the right amount of hits to get them back to normal.

Well, there were still people in there, so they tried not to hurt them too bad. It didn't take too long because these two had speed, strength and strategy on their sides, making this fight against the army pretty easy.

Greta just finished uppercutting the last person back to their senses.

"That was easy." Aaron said, smiling while dusting off his hands.

They both then realized.

Aaron and Greta: "A little too easy."

Greta didn't need Aaron's Astro-sense to feel a dark presence in the air.

She turned to the source, and walked next to Aaron before tugging his jacket.

"Aaron...look."

Aaron turned to look at what Greta saw, and he squinted his eyes at who she caught eye of.

It was male teen who was Aaron's age, fourteen, and his body looked as if it was a black silhouette with a greyish outline, and the only way you'll make out any expression on his face is his dark green eyes. The hair was medium length and was wily, and the only thing that wasn't a part of that silhouette were the dark lack and dark gray striped scarf covering the lower half of his face, and the black jacket he has on.

Dear readers, meet Shade.

As he walked towards the Superstars, Aaron said, "Hey, Shade. Long time no see."

He didn't reply and glared at Aaron.

Greta spoke up next. "Shade, what did you do? There's something off about your darkness. Does it have something to do with why you've been gone for so long?"

"...Hold still and I'll show you."

He held out his palm towards the heroes and shadowy tendrils shot out from it.

The two split up, and the people that were in the area went to run for cover.

Those tendrils landed in the street, and they spread to the left over darkness that Aaron didn't clear away yet.

Tendrils shot out of that darkness and grabbed onto the people who were hiding. It traveled along their bodies to their faces, which caused them to be controlled again.

"That's new." Aaron said, seeing that happen. Usually, Shade had to physically touch someone to gain control of them, and his tendrils could not do anything like that.

Greta's right, something about him's changed.

Greta shot some glue from her suit at Shade, which blinded and binded him long enough for Aaron to get rid of the darkness around them with some flash stars.

When Shade got the glue off him, Aaron said to Greta, "I've got Shade, help the people."

"Got it."

They split up; Greta went to set everyone free, and Aaron went to fight Shade.

Darkness can be just as fast as light, so both Shade and Aaron can fight at the same speed.

They almost match. Then again, almost.

Shade's now seen being kicked in the abdomen, and sent flying into a wall.

Enraged, Shade's darkness spread from all throughout his body and covered the building he was on, and long arms started to form from it.

They tried to grab Aaron, but he ducked and dodged them easily while cutting them with one of his stars.

As for Greta, she just finished saving another person, before glancing back at the brawl between the living opposites,

"Shade's never done that before." Greta thought when she saw the arms.

Then, her goggles picked up something.

There was something suspect in Shade's jacket.

She gasped, then shouted while fending off some more control people, "Aaron! Shade's jacket! Go for the jacket!"

Aaron heard her as Shade himself pried himself from the wall.

Aaron a couple of throwing stars at Shade, but evaded all of them as if it wasn't a problem.

"Please tell me you didn't think-"

*BANG!*

Three flash stars then went off in his face, making him yell and hiss in immense pain from the light.

Remember? Aaron's star power has an effect on Shade's darkness.

While he was distracted, Aaron sped towards him, and yanked him from his jacket, flipping Shade over him.

When he hit the ground, something went flying out of his jacket; a second later, the shadowy arms went limp, shriveled up, and poofed away.

There was a glow coming from the thing in question, and it got Aaron's attention, making him look at it.

His jaw dropped when he saw it. So did Greta when she looked over.

Aaron and Greta: "Is that the-?!"

The thing that fell out of Shade's jacket was a large but not that large, glowing, uncut gemstone that had eight sections of colors: red, pink, orange, gold, white, light blue, dark blue, and bright purple.

The name of what it was is gonna sound lazy, but this is the Rock of Ultimacy.

That thing is this universe's most powerful artifact, but everyone in Earth thought it was a myth. It could do positive things like restore ruins or clear intense weather, or do very bad things like level a mountain range or turn an entire village to ash and dust.

It could even amplify power...which might explain Shade's new abilities!

That explains why he's been gone for so long! He was looking for the Rock! If he used that thing just to make his power stronger, I'm scared to think of what else he might do with it.

It needs to get out of here.

Aaron made a star hook, threw it, and it wrapped around the Rock of Ultimacy before Aaron pulled it towards him.

Until...

"NO!"

Shade made more tendrils from his hands latch onto the Rock of Ultimacy, and now both Aaron and Shade were pulling to try to get it.

"Let go, Shade!"

"Back at you!"

It was a tug of war between the two for the Rock of Ultimacy.

They kept pulling with more and more strength with each pull.

But unknown to them, when they were pulling for it with almost all their power, Shade's powerful darkness and Aaron's star power were causing the Rock to crack open, and white light was starting to come out of the cracks as they formed.

Greta noticed them though, and her goggles were showing danger signs.

"Aaron! Shade! Stop!"

They didn't hear her. They were too busy pulling as hard as they could on the Rock trying to take it away from the other, only causing more cracks.

Greta then shouted, "Everyone! You need to clear the area! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"

All the citizens started to scream and panic and run to anywhere but here, and Greta made sure that everyone had gone away

Greta looked back, and saw that the Rock was a few more tugs from breaking apart.

She ran to Aaron, to try to get him out of there, but it was too late.

Right before she could touch his arm-

*CSSSSSHHHHH!*

The Rock of Ultimacy had broke apart into eight pieces, each piece was one of the colors on the Rock.

But that's not the baddest part.

When the Rock broke, white light burst from it and spread all throughout the area.

Well, the area was the beginning.

The light spread from here, to all throughout Starlight Town, to all throughout the state, to the country, to all of North America, before almost covering up the planet!

Yeah, the Rock is that powerful!

The light didn't last too long, though. It went away after a couple of seconds.

Everyone in Starlight Town looked around when the light was gone.

They were relieved when they saw that they were all okay, but when they went to check on the Superstars,...they couldn't.

The reason being was that Aaron and Greta had vanished! Along with Shade, his darkness, and the pieces of the Rock of Ulitimacy!

Everyone was shocked, confused, and were trying their best not to assume the worst.

What happened to the Superstars?!

Back to the present...

Well, I guess you're caught up now.

That's the tale of what happened to Aaron and Greta and how they, Marble, and Banshee ended up here.

Right now, Aaron and Greta were looking at the gemstone in a glass casing next to the computer system in the base.

This gemstone was one of the eight pieces of the Rock of Ultimacy that Aaron and Shade shattered.

It might've been a fraction of it, but it still had a large sum of power.

That's what P.H.I.N. found out when he scanned it.

"THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY A SEGMENT OF THE ROCK OF ULTIMACY. IT SEEMS THAT WHEN AARON AND SHADE CAUSED IT TO BREAK APART, IT RELEASED A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF ENERGY WHICH WAS ENOUGH TO SEND US TO THIS ALTERNATE REALITY. ALTHOUGH THE ENERGY MUST HAVE ALSO SENT A UNCERTAIN AMOUNT OF OTHER THINGS ALONG WITH US, WHICH MIGHT EXPLAIN THE APPEARANCE OF MARBLE AND BANSHEE."

"Whoa." Greta said, "This is...This is a lot."

She turned to Aaron, wanting to know what his opinion about all this was, but he saw that he was upset about this.

"This is-"

"Aaron, don't you dare say this is all your fault." Greta interrupted. She hated it when Aaron blamed himself for when something extremely bad happened.

"Well, what do you want me to say, Greta? It's my fault the Rock broke apart. It's my fault our enemies are in this reality. It's my fault we're in this reality. Because of me, were stuck on a separate side of the multiverse, and now this universe is in more trouble, and our universe has no one to protect it!"

"Aaron!" Greta stopped him, "You didn't know this would happen! No one did! And I told you you need to stop blaming yourself for stuff; Shade's the one who used that dumb gemstone in the first place. He's always trying to ruin anything. It's not your fault, Aaron."

"Bu-"

"Not. Yours."

"APOLOGIES FOR INTERRUPTING," P.H.I.N. said, getting their attention, "BUT I MAY HAVE DISCOVERED A WAY TO REPAIR THIS SITUATION.

IF ONE OF THE PIECES OF THE ROCK OF ULTIMACY MADE IT INTO THIS REALITY, THEN THEORETICALLY, THE OTHER SEVEN PIECES MUST ALSO HAVE MADE IT INTO THIS REALITY.

IF WE'RE ABLE TO LOCATE THE REMAINING PIECES, RECONSTRUCT THE ROCK OF ULTIMACY WITH THE PIECE THAT GRETA LOCATED, WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE THE COMPLETE ARTIFACT'S POWER TO SEND EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING THAT'S BEEN SENT HERE BACK TO OUR REALITY."

"P.H.I.N., are you serious?" Aaron asked, trying to believe it.

"GRETA HAD NOT YET PROGRAMMED ME TO UNDERSTAND HUMOR." he answered, saying that he was indeed serious, "THE TIME IT WILL TAKE TO LOCATE THE PIECES WILL REMAIN UNIDENTIFIED. FOR THE TIME BEING, I WILL SET MY SYSTEMS TO DO A FULL SEARCH OF THIS CITY FOR THE SAME ENERGY SIGNATURE AS THE PIECE WE'VE ALREADY FOUND. IF NONE ARE LOCATED HERE, I SHALL WIDEN THE SEARCH. I WILL KEEP YOU BOTH UPDATED THE MINUTE I'VE FOUND SOMETHING."

"Aaron, this is great! There's a chance we can actually make it home!"

"This is great." Aaron said, finally showing a smile, "We can actually fix this mess. Well, theoretically, but it's a chance I'm willing to take none the less."

Greta smiled seeing Aaron smile.

She got up from her seat and said to Aaron.

"Aaron, can I just tell you something?"

"Shoot."

"I'm not saying it was, but even if it was your fault, I'm not going to think of you any less. I know you're the one who's willing to set things right, and I'm gonna stay by your side until we do.

Superstars stick together."

Aaron crouched down.

"Yeah, Superstars stick together."

They hugged.

"Thanks, Greta. I needed that."

After they finished, Aaron got up and started to plan, "Okay, new universe, same enemies. After what happened with Banshee, we need a way to transport them here so they can be locked up."

Greta nodded her head. "Yeah, but we need to be ready for anything like where they are. I have a gadget that could possibly hold them, but we might not have two hours. And people could be injured or need to be rescued."

Aaron pondered before looking at Greta and smirking, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"*looks back with same look* I think I am."

Aaron and Greta: "Rescue vehicle!"

"We can make a vehicle that can help with rescues, transport, and first aid. Something fast, that can be used for land, water, and fly through the sky quickly. Just need something original about it- Hey!"

Aaron stopped when a dragonfly started flying around his head.

"How'd you get in here?!" he said, trying to grab it.

Though after looking at the dragonfly, Greta got an idea.

"Aaron, I know what to do."

She went to the computer, taking Aaron's attention away from the insect, and did some work.

She was drafting plans for the rescue vehicle on the screens.

After she finished, Aaron looked at them and grinned.

He made a goldish-yellow screwdriver with a star-shaped handle appear in his hands and said, "Let's get to work."

Meanwhile...

While they're building that rescue vehicle, let's answer a question with two answers:

Who else had gotten sent here into this universe?

Well, the first answer's in a diner, where we see someone reading a newspaper as her order just came: A slice of lemon meringue pie.

"Thank you very much." she said when she got her pie.

She put the paper down to eat some of her pie, revealing her appearance.

She's a woman in her mid-thirties, a brunette with short hair and freckles, and is wearing a pink shirt with a pair of glasses hanging from the collar, some black pants, and grey flats. The most noticeable thing about her is her white lab coat.

While eating her pie, she looked at a particular job offer on the paper.

"'Science teacher'. Won't be any different from my old job back at the academy, but I need a way to keep myself busy until I find a way home. Or at least Aaron and Greta find me."

She ate another bite of her pie before some fell onto the name tag on her lab coat.

She sighed before wiping it off, revealing the name on it.

Maya Brights

Also meanwhile...

As for the second answer, we head out to the ocean.

In a barge hauling away garbage across the sea, we see rumbling amongst the trash.

This got the attention of a crewman onboard the boat.

He raised an eyebrow at the moving garbage before some of it was flung away, revealing a certain someone who was the cause of this mess.

Yep. It was Shade.

"Hey, what're you doing here?" the man said, which got the attention of two more crewmen who were now in their way over.

Shade said nothing as he waded through the trash before getting out next to the man.

"Hey, I'm talkin' to yo-!"

Shade grabbed his head, and shadowy blackness spread from his head and to his face. Like to the people back home, the darkness made the shape of a spiky domino mask on the man's face, and making his eyes white.

The negativity took over the man, and he was now at Shade's beck and call.

The crewmen who were approaching stopped in their tracks, and were about to scream, run off, and get help, but some of Shade's shadowy tendrils came out from his sides and held the men still.

Darkness took over them too, and they were also now under Shade's control.

Since this barge wasn't too big, there were only seven men total onboard. Shade took over them all before he ordered them to head for shore.

We watch the barge turn and head back to shore.

And the one thing he was sure of was that he was not letting Aaron get in the way of it this time.
