Akko, Diana and Hellene have already reached the point in the dungeon where they come face to face with the boss's room, and this is the moment when Atsuko will have to separate from the two as they cannot access the place because it is blocked by the passage to do this kind of thing, which means that Kagari will have to fend for herself just as she did in the previous dungeon to survive the monster to come, after having walked so far she will arrive at the big fight with the creature, all so that she can bring the next witch to the seal room.
The crimson-eyed girl opened the door to the headmaster's office and went down the stairs, into that room which was dark, but as she took each step the torches beside her lit up until she reached another door which opened as the girl approached, a huge double door, as she took further steps she looked ahead and so far there was nothing.
(That's strange, it doesn't really look like there's a monster, well at least it'll be quite easy to deal with if it is, so let's get on with it).
But when she looked up, she realised that there was actually something there, which then threw itself on the ground and fell towards her, who dodged it, which turned out to be a gelatinous monster with a transparent light blue colour, red eyes and a tree on its head, which was quite large.
Blob ancient monster Vajarois
A creature that would have seemed harmless if it hadn't been for its enormous size, a 6 metre tall monster, all soft, which the brownish woman soon made a point of testing with one of her first blows, delivering a cut from afar, which simply didn't do any good, it just passed through the creature's body and the impact was cushioned.
"You're a giant jelly, it won't be easy to find a weak spot" said the warrior from Luna Nova.
The creature was already starting to react, hitting the ground and heading towards Akko, who was trying to escape, but it wasn't working very well as the creature wasn't agile enough to hit anything, at least the blows were very strong and full of impact, which even caused a tremor on the ground for Atsuko, who was trying to find a way to attack.
(He's immune to slashes, he must be immune to arrows, I don't doubt bombs too, I have to think here, maybe I should use my staff that I picked up in this dungeon, it could be very useful, I'll try, I'll freeze this thing so it'll be easier to win against him).
Kagari takes a few more steps backwards, dodging the creature's punches and even its attempts to swallow her up. She then grabs the staff she had just picked up in her hands and begins to cast an ice elemental spell on the creature's huge, soft body, which gradually begins to stiffen, its movements even slowing down as it also jumps backwards and dodges Vajarois' attacks.
Until the whole creature stopped in a corner, simply stiff from being completely frozen, at which point the crimson-eyed one went up with the master sword, trying to attack in some way, but with one hit from the sword nothing ended up happening as it was too weak to cause any damage even with the power glove. The other plan was a little more strategic and involved filling the area around where the monster was with bombs, and that's what the girl decided to do, taking out as many bombs as possible, which was up to ten, with the explosions happening many times, she ended up cracking that body, giving the brownish girl a huge smile.
(Yes, marvellous, I didn't think it would be so easy to defeat a monster like this, well anyway, I have to show you how it's done here, I didn't think this monster would be so easy to defeat)
The warrior from Luna Nova picks up the master sword and uses the spell to set it on fire, then uses the hook to climb up to exactly where the top of the creature is, still in a frozen state. With the sword on fire, she drops everything with a single blow that is capable of cracking everything around her, so much so that she moves away and walks calmly while the monster cracks apart.
Vajarois ended up breaking the entire crust of ice that remained over the body and what was left was a remnant of the creature and a huge remnant, all that to defeat it didn't work, it only served to make it a little smaller.
"What? I won't have the magic for it and I don't even have enough bombs, but damn it, what an indestructible monster, now I have to think more with my head or else it's fucked" said the frustrated Akko.
The creature, freed, even became smaller and more agile, which Atsuko tried to think of a way to attack, since freezing didn't work as well as she had hoped, Kagari began to use the elemental staff once again, this time trying to use fire, which was practically useless, since it only served to be paid when it came into contact with the creature.
(Apparently the fire didn't do any good, I'll have to think of a way to defeat it with another element, I feel like this thing's magic isn't that strong).
Cleverly, the crimson-eyed girl knew that using the earth element by throwing stones would only help to feed Vajarois and would be quite useless. She used spells of lightning and bolts of lightning and that spread the creature, which simply accelerated to the point where she hit the girl with her hand and she appeared inside Vajarois's gelatinous arm, already feeling a tingling sensation in her body.
(Damn, if I take too long here I might get digested, I have to think fast).
The brownish woman looks at something inside what looks like the monster's throat, uses the hook to get up to that spot, where she was already preparing to strike with all her might, thrusts the master sword into the creature, hears a tremor and is then spat out, her body still smeared with the monster's goo and tingling.
(Wow, that thing digests really fast, I almost ended up becoming Vajarois food, well now at least I know where to attack it, come on Akko, just distract the creature).
The warrior from Luna Nova uses the hook to escape another attack from Vajarois and also to get rid of the rest of the goo that ended up leaving her with visible wounds, so she thought of a plan, taking her bow in hand and aiming at the side where she knew the creature's weak point was, shooting arrows with everything.
"Now you're going to prove why it's so much work" said Akko.
With her magic much improved and a little magic left, she launches arrows, which are so special that they explode when they hit their target, making the creature roar and at the same time making it shrink a little in size as it makes the monster vomit up part of its body, only with an acid that is even more corrosive than the one in Atsuko's body.
(So that's the idea, I'm going to make this thing smaller and smaller until I just step on it and there's nothing left, that's it)
More arrows were launched in the direction of the creature, which roared and struggled more and more. What Kagari didn't notice was that Vajarois was becoming much more agile in his attacks as he got smaller, being already four and a half metres tall, it was quite obvious that his speed was increasing and so the girl had to be more attentive, using the hook to move from one side of the arena to the other, even getting a little breathless.
(This thing is much faster than I thought, now it's much harder to hit like this, I need to think carefully, my magic is running out, I still have a lot of arrows left, can I use normal arrow attacks, it might work).
The crimson-eyed girl took a deep breath and used ordinary arrows against Vajarois, who was still letting herself be attacked by the girl's attacks, even trying to digest what was making her more furious, roaring and continuing to go at the brownish girl, who was trying to dodge as quickly as possible, but she missed many arrows.
(Damn this is too fast even for me, I have to think here about how to act quickly, or else I'm really screwed, come on Akko, I think it's time to take a chance, come on Vajarois).
With a smile on her face, the warrior from Luna Nova rushes towards Vajarois, who opens his mouth and devours the queen of Wedinburgh, who simply falls into the monster. Again, with tingling sensations all over her body, she quickly aims her hook at the creature's weak point and goes to where that area is, without hesitating she delivers a great blow, which is followed by a tremor, a roar and the monster's spit.
(It was worth the risk, that one really made the skin on my hand a bit red, I'd better heal up or I might die next time).
Akko heals herself with a potion she had in her hands, and is both invigorated by magic and healed from the wounds caused by the Vajarois, but something strange happens to the creature, it begins to take on a different shape, that gelatinous body of the creature becomes an amalgamation of something that flows around it into something smaller and smaller, to the point where it becomes an egg, then emits a huge glow
and from there simply appears a girl who was holding her hands together in a praying position until she opens her eyes and everything becomes very strange.
"What is it? I killed Vajarois? Is that right?" Said the confusedAtsuko.
Those deep red eyes, with long pink hair, wearing a white dress and a gold crown, she raises her hand and a sword appears in her hand, which Kagari is already putting on her guard, even more so when she just gives a push towards the crimson-eyed woman who ends up managing to hold off the impact of the blade that meets hers.
(What? So this monster still had a second form, and the one of a woman is the worst of them, precisely the one that is a person, she is more threatening than the monster).
And it really proved to be very Vajarois with her quick movements, she was making slashes that narrowly missed the brownish creature that was trying to dodge and defend itself, no matter how much she had trained, she still had difficulties with a fast creature like that and with very strong movements, to the point of causing sparks to fly when their swords touched.
(Vajarois is very strong, it reminded me of AnsolewAiro, they're really showing the best in these dungeons, if she wasn't a monster we'd have a great ally by our side, look how quickly she attacks, but I can't falter, she may be agile, but so am I).
In the process of exchanging sword contacts, the warrior from Luna Nova decides to go one step further and does so in a way that causes a small explosion right in the face of the woman who is stunned, which could be the opening for a thrust, but at the moment it is delivered, the Hyllian ends up passing straight through and simply seeing the creature break up into several blocks and disappear, only to reappear from behind and slash the back of the Queen of Wedinburgh, who is in a lot of pain from the impact of the blow.
"Ahhhhhhhh, damn it, that bastard's fast, there's no way I'll be able to win like this" said Akko in pain from the cut on his back.
She turned to attack Vajarois but the blades ended up hitting each other, which again Atsuko tried to use explosive fireballs to stun the woman who ended up doing the same kind of disappearing act and this time reappeared with a fireball that was right on target for Kagari who was taken by surprise by the blow and took a few steps backwards, a little dazed, Her vision became a little blurred, but she still managed to avoid a good blow from the monster by being saved by the shield, but not from receiving a kick that was strong enough to cause her to be dragged backwards, hitting a pillar and sitting on the ground.
(I didn't realise the damned thing was so strong, I'll have to be clever, she might be good on the ground, but what if? What if I go higher and use my staff, I have to try).
The crimson-eyed one uses the hook to go towards the ceiling, safer and a little injured, the creature simply stops in a corner and sits on the floor with her legs crossed, making a position with her hands as if she were praying, What the brownish girl sees next are those pinkish hairs coming towards her as if they were some kind of long-distance tentacle, she even tries to dodge a few and use her shield, but one catches her on the shoulder and ends up giving her a shock-like effect all over her body, which ends up falling to the ground.
(Apparently long-distance won't do any good, she's fast at that, those hairs are just as lethal, I never thought I'd feel something like lightning striking me, now I have to think here, none of this hurts her).
Even though the warrior from Luna Nova was very upset, she took a deep breath and saw Vajarois getting up, showing off that sadistic smile. The woman knew that Akko was already on the verge of becoming very weak, so she went up with her sword to strike with all her might, but in a moment of agility and reflex Atsuko dodged and ended up causing a lot of trouble by getting up, In a moment of intelligence, she ends up using magic to create ice, which she ends up trapping in the creature's feet, giving the girl the gap she needed to heal herself, but when she tried to strike next, as always, the pink-haired girl ended up dodging easily, making that teleportation of blocks, which the clever Kagari turns round with her sword and ends up causing a clash of blades, knowing that she could be caught from behind.
"I know how to move monster, I don't fall for the same blow twice" said the crimson-eyed girl staring at the monster.
Vajarois even jumps backwards with an impulse, but she is surprised by the slash of the master sword that ends up catching on her blade and spreading around her, not only sparking, but also opening up some wounds on the woman's arm that was feeling some cuts and that was the moment when the brownish one
continued to throw more and more projectile cuts which deeply irritated the monster that ended up teleporting, which appeared behind Kagari who had a fireball ready that this time stunned the creature.
(Now I'm learning her moves, all I have to do is hit her with some fatal blow, she's really very powerful, what the hell? Well, at least I've finally managed to make this thing bleed, I've got to avoid losing my best attack, time to make things more elemental).
Elemental spells begin to be cast by the crimson-eyed woman, who uses ice, fire and lightning all to strike the monster, who then only has a huge flash that ends up with her pink hair going towards the brownish woman, who immediately uses her master sword to avoid being hit by Vajarois, who goes up with several slashes, this time being very fast, which the warrior from Luna Nova was already beginning to have the first difficulties in hitting anything.
(She's really desperate, this is as difficult as the mandragora was in the Luna Nova dungeon, here in Triskellion this girl really is a monster with a sword, I think after this I'll even be able to defeat anything with a speed like that).
When she tried to make several cuts, Vajarois simply disappeared with the teleportation, which didn't even give Akko time to try to defend herself with the sword, but she was lucky that the shield appeared right in front of her, which saved her from a fatal cut that raised a lot of sparks in the process, which Atsuko quickly thought of.
She uses the hook to throw herself backwards and get away from the monster girl who uses her hair, then she uses the master sword which she ends up storing in her hair and wraps the whole sword around it, electrocuting herself all the way until she catches Kagari who slams the sword into the ground and from her bag she takes the bow, starting to launch arrows towards Vajarois who simply dodges them all, either with enormous calm or using the sword to avoid the attacks which didn't work out so well as a plan.
(Not bad, the arrows would be useless with a monster of this agility, I know what to do, she can lead this thing by the hair and if I use fire and burn everything...)
The crimson-eyed girl burns her sword and with it she grabs her hair, which is starting to be cut to the point where Vajarois picks up those strands of hair and stops attacking from a distance, giving an impulse that comes with all speed towards the brownish girl who is taken by surprise, not even the shield had time to catch her and protect her, she is simply hit by a blow to the stomach and taken to one of the pillars by the monster girl, who then pulls the sword out of the girl's body, who is bleeding profusely.
(So that's what a blow feels like? It's really horrible, I think I overdid it, she really gets mad when she's like this, I have to find a way to hit her somehow, well I don't think I'm going to die at least... I noticed that she has something in that crown, it might be just what I need to know).
The fairies helped her and the warrior from Luna Nova didn't die, she was healed by the fairies and returned to active life, even though her tunic was stained with blood she had a smile on her face, which Vajarois didn't notice, But Akko stood up and used the hook to pull out her crown, which she noticed as she felt nothing on her head and then realised that Atsuko had the crown in her hands and gave her a cut with one blow, which the monster girl reached out and in fury sent all the strands of hair towards her.;
"Do you want that?" Kagari said, noticing that just hitting that blow had caused a few cracks in Vajarois' body, which then became furious.
The hair enveloped the entire body of the crimson-eyed girl, who was being electrocuted by the raging Vajarois, but she soon found a way, using her fire magic to escape the pink and then throwing the crown away, so the creature decided to distract itself and go after the object, giving it a boost.
But when it came to catching the girl, still a little bruised from the shock, she used her hook and caught the crown, which was thrown into the air, and with that the monster girl turned round to catch the crown, until she used her hair to catch the
"Not on my shift, now it's time to play a bit" said the brownish girl with a smile on her face.
She throws the master sword towards those pink locks of hair and launches an arrow that catches the crown and gets stuck in it, which the furious Vajarois goes to hit the warrior of Luna Nova who protects herself with a shield and then goes to catch the master sword thrown with the hook which gives the monster time to put the crown back on her head already staring at the girl with a sadistic look.
Furious, Vajarois goes up with a single thrust and ends up making the swords meet, which causes her to
disappear in cubes until she tries to catch the girl using the hook to go backwards and escape the cut that would catch her, the pink hair soon heading towards the future queen of Wedinburgh but she only smiles.
"Let's see if these little hairs will do anything" Akko smiles and snaps her fingers.
An explosion takes place in the middle of everything, which ends up causing the monster to have several cracks as soon as the explosion is over and it is already getting much weaker with all that, which Atsuko with a smile on her face already uses the hook again, with the crown still whole and goes to take that thing in hand but Vajarois' hair gets in the way and hooks with the hook, which made it a little more difficult for the girl to decide to leave it on the ground and go on her own with the master sword in hand towards where the object is.
"Now it's all or nothing" said Kagari.
Vajarois also runs towards the crown that was left in the middle, just like the one with the crimson eyes, which meet in the middle of the road with the swords meeting in a cut, being the fight for the crown, the cuts are hitting each other, they go at each other with cuts, the monster girl clearly has an advantage in the agility of her movements.
(She's even more agile and has that hair, I have to learn the tricks from Queen McLaren, she always told me to be clever and not a clean fighter, heh, that's what I'm going to do, let's see if I can find a loophole for it).
The brownish woman simply smiles and uses a fireball on the ground, which distracts Vajarois and gives her a chance to end up stunned, which again makes the warrior from Luna Nova, using her cunning, pretend to strike the monster so that it disappears and she tries to grab the future queen of Wedinburgh from behind, but Akko simply throws herself on the ground and uses her staff to create another explosion of fireballs, which distracts the monster again and she disappears to try to strike it, At this point Atsuko decides to collect the hook that she transforms back into her staff.
(Well, I'm close enough to the crown that all I have to do is hit the right spot, I'll hit my last explosive arrow, it's all or nothing).
Kagari ends up turning the glowing sceptre into a bow, which she aims at the crown while Vajarois slowly moves the sword towards her, her hands tied, but just in time to hit the arrow, her hair holding her back and sadistically the monster girl stares into the crimson eyes of the brownish girl, who is still confident.
"Damn, now you've really got me, haven't you" said the warrior from Luna Nova sarcastically.
Akko's hands and feet were bound by the monster's attack, and Vajarois prepared to make a final thrust, only to hear the snap of her fingers as she lowered the blade and then saw only the crown explode into pieces, while the sword was very close to the throat of the future queen of Wedinburgh.
"Have you forgotten that one?" Atsuko said, laughing.
As if they were shards of glass, Vajarois began to dismantle herself into several cracked lines all over her body as a glow came out of her, which ended up shattering her in one piece, as happens with anything made of glass, and then she was defeated, as she vanished into dust, rising into the sky, and Kagari was relieved.
"What a wretched little creature, that Vajarois turned out to be a real pain in the arse" said the crimson-eyed one lying on the floor.
With that, the heart appeared like an emerald where Gwendolyn Benson was standing with her arms open and her eyes closed, a woman with wavy brown hair and fair skin who ended up opening her green eyes to the warrior from Luna Nova.
"You managed to defeat the mighty Vajarois Akko, congratulations the second witch of the nine witches who is me has finally been freed, now we can do everything to save Hyrule from the hands of Andrew Hanbridge who is with the spirit of Ganondorf and thus prevent the total destruction and occupation of the tyrannical and evil forces of Ganon, you are our hope Akko, continue your search for the seven words and the challenges that come in the following dungeons, it will always be a challenge that you will have to face ahead, I'm going, but you already know where to find me" Said Gwendolyn who disappeared into several butterflies that circled the emerald and climbed to the ceiling.
Akko even stood up and, breathing a sigh of relief, was soon greeted with a hug from her wife, who came over and kissed her. Despite the pain she was feeling all over her body, they stayed together and soon the courageous Kagari grabbed her heart, which helped to soothe her wounds.
"You did it Akko, it seemed like a pretty easy battle, you didn't look that hurt" said Diana.
"That's where you're wrong, I almost died, I had to be revived by the fairies, a sword entered my stomach and then I was like this, well at least I'm here, you have no idea, I thought the mandragora was complicated, but she was too, it just wasn't worse than the Mandragora, I thought this was the coolest battle so far, I'll tell you when we get back, come on" Said the one with the crimson eyes.
Together they all went to the portal and with that they were transported to the entrance of the dungeon, where they were soon greeted by everyone with a huge smile on their face for everything, it was a relief to know that they were alive and well.
"Woah, that was pretty quick, they did very well, it looks like they're unharmed, it was easy," said Croix.
"No, it's a dungeon thing, we get out of it unscathed" said Cavendish.
"I know I was just fooling you, but you were still very quick, let's go home and I want to know everything in detail" said Meridies.
And off they all go happily in the direction of the house, meeting up and listening to the three of them talk about what happened in the Triskellion dungeon, being very impressed by the fact that the trio are very well-matched with each other, much due to their history of having been in dungeons before.
But nothing ended up impressing them more than the battle between Akko and Vajarois, with all the skill the girl had to bring to bear on a woman who is scarier in human form than when she was a huge blob monster.
"Wow, this is very reminiscent of Ansolew Airo, but with fewer arms, you really had to show everything you'd learnt in practice" said Chariot.
"It's worse than Ansolew Airo, at least that statue could be hit, I couldn't land a single blow on Vajarois, that woman is simply a monster, literally a monster, her disappearing into little blocks, I just didn't know her weak point beforehand, otherwise it would have been an extremely easy battle" Akko said remembering about the fights she had before.
"I really wanted to be there, it would certainly help to distract her, especially as I want to see if it applies to my rapier technique" said Diana.
"Love, your rapier technique is too complicated for me, let alone Vajarois. Anyway, our next stop will be Hyllia Island" said Atsuko.
"Oh, Hyllia Island, after that we're going to Eire Island, we have to go to the Banshee tower, from what I've heard of it, it's a very ghostly place, full of spirits and things like that, even during the day the place is always cloudy and raining, it seems like it rains forever, it's never had a sunny day, well I wish you good luck, you've already proved that you'll be able to take care of yourself and stay safe from the dangers of Hyrule, I think we've left you in good hands" said Du Nord.
"It's okay Chariot, we'll take care of ourselves and there's still that thing on Diana's wrist so we'll always be able to talk to each other," said Kagari.
At the end of the day, the girls were already celebrating in the dungeon and also preparing for their journey the next day, to Hyllia Island and also for the great journey. This time, they will only return to Triskellion Island when they have finished the journey of the nine witches, so that they can have the power to defeat Andrew Handbrige.
The Triskellion dungeon has been conquered, and this time the girls have managed to conquer the dungeon, as well as overcoming the difficulties that lie ahead in the situation, a very complicated battle that put Atsuko Kagari's skills to the limit, showing that she still had a lot to go and improve, which Akko is willing to overcome, even with a tough battle, she has shown that she is no small feat, the journey that has begun is still very intense, the challenges will be even greater ahead.
