Atsuko goes with Ruto to Lake Zoras to swim back to the city, noticing that the route was practically set up in this free time, seeing that there were some rings circling the city, and arriving at the royal castle there was the boy who was already well warmed up for the race.
When they noticed Kagari's presence, they even laughed when they saw that she was wearing the same clothes as before, especially as Zoras himself was completely naked and had a completely hydrodynamic body.
"Is that how you intend to win the race against me? You're not even naked, Hyllian, so it's going to be hard to win in those heavy clothes" said Ruto's brother.
"My brother Tato is right Akko, you won't win this way, he's the best swimmer in the whole Zoras city, you'd better get undressed Akko" said the Zoras girl.
"I don't need to undress, I'll go like this, it's better for me, I guarantee I can swim better like this, I need these clothes just like you need to stay like this to be able to swim better, let's see who does better" said the confident girl with the crimson eyes.
"All right, Hyllian, I assure you that I won't take it lightly, if you wish, we Zoras are the pinnacle of nothingness, no creature can reach higher speeds than us" said Tato.
"Are you organised yet? Very well, I'll start the event, come with me to where the start of the race is, you'll compete to see who is the fastest on the seas" said King Zoras and they both nodded.
Tato and the brown-haired girl swim to the city's central square, where a spell is placed around the ring where they are standing, creating something that looks like a kind of invisible wall that prevents both of them from passing through and escaping somehow.
The whole town was eager to watch the event, gathering to watch the race, the vast majority of whom were cheering for the prince, while even booing the warrior from Luna Nova a little.
"All right, here we are for a great race, the first to cross the finish line after swimming the 20 rings around the city will be the fastest in all of Lake Zoras, on one side we have Prince Tato, the fastest swimmer in all of Zoras, and on the other the newcomer Atsuko Kagari, a Hyllian who wants to prove herself as the legendary warrior who will save us from extinction, but she can only be seen as such if she wins this race, who will win?" Said the king, announcing the race.
"Oh, girl, it's nothing, but I'm sorry, I'm going all out to beat my record, thanks" said the prince to Hyllian.
The two of them get ready for the race until the start, Akko falls asleep for a while and doesn't realise that she had already started the race at the back because she had briefly disconnected, so Tato goes off in the lead, but she starts swimming as fast as she can and using magic and her special boots she gains momentum, realising how agile she can be.
(What? This is like being on a broomstick, but without it, it's like I'm flying, it's easy to control, how interesting, how marvellous, I'm going to try what I can to win this race, I've already started behind, I had no idea I could swim so fast).
Tato led with ease, managing to swim with agility, while at the back Atsuko was practically hitting the invisible walls, since she was still learning how to control her swimming in that fast way, but she gradually began to get closer, arriving at the first ring, she was left behind, but she saw that the bubbles on Tato's side were visible.
"What a clumsy way that girl swims, how does she want to compete with our best swimmer by going like that?" said one of the Zoras.
"Akko has been learning everything from the start, I'm sure she'll get the hang of it and win" said Ruto.
(This is more complicated to control, but I can see that I can swim quite quickly, at least that, well come on, this cold water has even become warmer this way, which is good, I'll be able to get ahead if I learn to control it better instead of hitting the walls).
The second ring was Tato's lead, with Kagari still getting very clumsy, banging from side to side on the walls where the path of the rings is, but little by little compensating in straights and getting very close to the leader, each time managing to get closer, because he was still concentrating without looking back.
Arriving at the third, it was the same, only the strokes were much shorter, with improved swimming control as he approached, passing through the obstacles of the city, it was the moment when the girl had the most trouble getting close because there were many bends and she had to reduce her speed a lot, even though she hit little, she still hit a few times to lose a little time, falling further
(Come on Akko, work hard, concentrate, you can beat this guy, you're fast enough).
In the fourth ring, Tato was still the leader, managing to keep up his pace and stay ahead, while the crimson-eyed girl tried to concentrate, even managing to keep up her speed a little in the bends. She had a few impacts on the invisible walls, but it was clear that she was trying to swim faster, which King Zoras already saw the potential in her.
In the fifth ring, the lead remained the boy's, he didn't care what was coming up behind him, who was gradually gaining on him, he just wanted to win and break records, but it was clear that the brown-haired girl was making an effort to go faster.

By the time they reached the seventh, Tato's lead was clear, everyone already knew he was going to win, which frustrated Ruto a little as he cheered on his new friend, but soon everything was starting to change as Hyllian herself began to get the hang of going all out.

In the eighth ring, the prince's lead was falling, even though he was way out in front. It seemed that on the course with the most straights, it was clear that Akko was the fastest, so much so that she came very close, but in the ninth ring, the bends came back and where everyone thought that this time the Zoras boy would come out on top, no one expected to see the girl simply giving it her all, scraping her shoulders on the invisible walls to go to the limit and even throwing herself into some of them to be able to make the tightest bends.
That whole show was making the people in the audience start to cheer for Atsuko too, as they realised that she also had skill and showed that she was making an effort to be faster, which at the halfway point of the track in the tenth ring where Tato's lead was already getting smaller and smaller, Kagari took the most complicated route to try something, she came across an extremely winding track and lost a lot of time there as she had many impacts and everything trying to push herself to the limit of what her body could handle.

In the eleventh ring, the lead was once again comfortable for the boy, who was able to use the city's winding curves to secure his lead, but the reaction of the crimson-eyed girl was starting to get angrier and more motivated, starting to use magic on her own body, she was even cushioning the hits on the wall to keep swimming faster, As if the walls were soft, this gave her more control, which was enough to drop her lead further into the twelfth ring and everyone was watching apprehensively, the brown-haired girl giving her blood to win a race, against the faster Zoras who wasn't even paying attention to what was behind him, just looking ahead.
As they reached the thirteenth ring, the lead narrowed, the course stopped having winding bends and gave way to straights and semi straights again, and that's where Akko was gaining the most, getting as close as she could to Prince Zoras, which could give her hope that the race might be won by the girl.
The fourteenth ring was back in the same shape as the previous one and this was something that raised Ruto's hopes, as he fervently cheered on his friend, who was using up a lot of magic to give her a boost and a lot of momentum throughout the course, which some of the Zoras down below, measuring the time, noticed was a huge difference in speed between Hyllian and Zoras.

With five rings to go, Luna Nova's warrior came very close, even though it was a course with a lot of bends, she managed to stay close, although in some of these she was left behind as she hit the walls to cushion her fall, which she realised didn't do much good, since on the straights she was gaining again and was already thinking of a way to win.
Sixteenth ring, the winding bends were back, she was almost at Tato's feet who was leading the race with enormous ease without any competition, or so he thought, without noticing what was coming up behind.
"Akko will do it! She'll win!" Ruto said.
"Not if she keeps going round corners like this, she'll still lose out to our boy who knows how to get round, and then comes the most technical part of the track, where Atsuko will really be tested" said King Zoras.
With three rings to go, she reached the most technical part of the race, the winding bends became even tighter and there were also blind spots, which was very hard on the crimson-eyed girl who was crashing a lot, almost running out of magic to spend so that the impacts wouldn't hurt her, and with that she was even losing the lead, since she no longer felt the bubbles from Tato's swimming near her, which made everyone apprehensive, could the girl beat a Zoras, even though she was only a Hyllian.
Two rings into the race, the eighteenth ring was where Tato took the lead, and that was enough for the Zoras to see that Akko was proof that she was very motivated to save the Zoras, everyone was even clapping for the performance of the girl who had started swimming fast just then.

Nineteenth ring, the winding curves continued, everyone could already see that there was no chance for Atsuko to win, the victory would be Tato's, but suddenly Kagari threw herself into the wall before the curve, you could see a glow emanating from her shoulder, which began to spark as she scraped her shoulder on that hairpin, She went round it at high speed, as she had never done before, and she did it on the next one too, and it made her gain more speed, everyone's mouths dropped open, she was already close enough to feel the bubbles, and as they passed the ring they were practically side by side.
"Go Akko! Go Akko! Go Akko!" Said the Zoras, cheering on the girl who was just concentrating on what she saw in front of her without hesitation.
"She really is the legendary warrior, and she's clever too" said the king with a smile on his face.
The last ring was coming up, there was just one last turn, and soon the crimson-eyed girl passed Tato, who was surprised to see the girl, and also her just going for it, even thinking that she was a bit stupid for going for it at that speed, until she noticed the glow on her shoulders, and the girl threw herself against the wall to make the turn.
She went through at full speed, which made all the Zoras jump with excitement, but at this point the brown-haired girl's magic began to weaken and she hurt her shoulder quite a bit, even getting a little blood on the way, but even so she continued to go quickly down the final stretch, even though she didn't have the speed she had at the beginning.

And indeed, Prince Zoras briefly passed the warrior from Luna Nova, but she soon began to open her eyes again and gained a little more momentum, while a trail of blood came out of her wounded shoulder, and everyone looked apprehensively at that unexpected outcome in a race that had been so hotly contested for years.
When they reached the twentieth ring, Hyllian simply stretched out her hand as she stood side by side with Tato, both of them looking only at the finish line. Akko even took her arm out of the way to gain speed, closed her eyes and gradually managed to get faster, She opens her eyes to see the finish line passing underneath and turns round to try and brake, but hits her back on a rock, while the boy manages to brake in time and is shocked.
"And she's the winner! Atsuko Kagari a Hyllian has won the race!" Said the king.
The badly injured Kagari opens her eyes, her nose bleeding from the effort and her shoulder equally bleeding. She looks at the Zoras, who are impressed by her, and tries to move, but she stands there in pain, until Ruto comes over to give her a little support.
"You did it Akko, you won!" Said the excited Princess Zoras.
"I did it... Heh, now take me to the surface, I'm going to drink a potion and I have one more test to do" said the smiling girl with the crimson eyes.
"Are you sure you want to do this? Look, you've already proved that you're fast" said the king.
"I'll come back healed, I want to do the second trial too, after all I'm a great warrior" said the brown-haired woman.
"I'll take you to the surface, I'll help you with that, but think about it Akko" said Ruto.
The Zoras girl takes her friend to the surface, where she simply drinks a potion and already feels refreshed again, in an instant which shocks the princess when she doesn't realise how effective it is, then she gets up and goes to the shore of the lake, already excited to set off on the second trial.
"But are you going? No rest or anything?" Ruto asks.
"Ah, my blood is boiling and I'm warmed up, I just want to see what this Zoras is capable of, let's just go" said the warrior from Luna Nova.
She went to the Zoras kingdom anyway and everyone was amazed when she passed through the city unscathed, as if she hadn't been all wrecked after the race that put her body over the edge. She walked to the throne room and there the king was also shocked to see Hyllian in one piece.
"So it's fight time, come on, I'm even more excited for a fight" said Akko with a smile on her face.
The king couldn't deny it, it was his own promise and it would be a bad thing if he didn't keep it, so he took the girl to where the Zoras ring was and there was a grandstand already full with the whole town who had already marvelled at Atsuko's feats in the race, but had no idea of her feats in a fight, when the brute arrived everyone was even terrified, seeing the size of Zoras.
"He'll break her in half" said one of the Zoras.
"I saw you in the race, little girl, you're a good sprinter, but you're a bit stupid to try to beat me" said the thug.
"Well, you can think what you like, I only came here for my ordeal, I'm a better fighter than a sprinter" said Kagari with a shrug.
"Are you a fighter? With that size? Hahahaha, know that I won't let up like Tato did, I, the great brute Zoras, will tear you to pieces, girl" said the huge Zoras while the crimson-eyed girl paid little attention.
The signal for the battle to begin is given, the disconnected brown-haired girl didn't pay attention and the first blow comes in the form of a punch which she manages to hold in her hand as if it were nothing, the whole
audience even turns their faces away so as not to see, but when they turn back, they see that there is simply a scene of the warrior from Luna Nova holding the big brute's hand in hers as if it were nothing.
"How did a brat like you do it? How did a brat like you do it?" Said the astonished brute.
"Come on, I know you took it easy with that punch, it was just to test me" said Hyllian teasingly.
The huge Zoras clenched his fists in anger and threw another punch, which Akko simply dodged with enormous tranquillity, even putting her hands behind her back, and the whole thing became the attraction of the city, which was amazed at how simply a 1.61 metre tall Hyllian could handle a Zoras that was practically three times her size, managing to deal with the battle with great coolness and tranquillity.
The monster even tried to speed up his blows, but some of them only landed on Atsuko's boots, and she was able to defend punches with her feet and dodge attacks with her rear flippers with enormous ease, throwing herself backwards and even starting to take her hands off her back, which caught the brute's punch and gave Zoras a single push that threw him backwards a little.
"Wow, you're really strong, mate, you gave me quite an interesting battle, but let's see what you can do against this" said the crimson-eyed one, smiling.
Kagari goes after the brute, punching him hard in the stomach and then throwing a sequence of punches and kicks, in various places, ending with a kick that causes the monster to crash into the wall of the battle arena with the impact, which causes the brown-haired woman to see the monster coming out of the wall in shock at the impact and speed of the blows.
"Your... Your... How can you be that strong? It's impossible for a Hyllian your size to beat me, look at your physique" said Zoras.
"I actually have a bit of strength here" said the warrior from Luna Nova, pulling up the sleeves of her robes to show off her muscles.
"Now get ready, I'm going to show you my most powerful move, feel the power of the Zoras" said the furious brute as he prepared to swim at full speed.
He lunges at Hyllian, but she too decides to move and in the blink of an eye disappears and then reappears, just as the monster is about to throw a punch, his stomach is hit by a powerful punch to the stomach that is capable of making him spit blood from the impact, and he swims backwards a little, then the girl simply holds Zoras' snout by his fingertips and stares at him.
"I think it's time to finalise all this, don't you?" Akko said.
The furious brute tries to attack with his tail, but only ends up dodging the attack. He then receives a kick from behind that knocks him to the ground, and Atsuko quickly moves underneath him, smiling and giving him another kick to give him the impetus to go higher, where the girl finishes by swimming up and giving him a blow with her elbow that knocks him into the arena, practically defeated.
Kagari stands over him and a count of 10 begins with her on top of the brute.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten! The brute couldn't get up, the winner is Atsuko Kagari the Hyllian!" Said the king of the Zoras.
The whole town was amazed, and then the crimson-eyed woman got off the great Zoras and gave him some fairies from the pot, which healed his wounds after the fight. When he got up, he felt strange and looked at the king, raising the crimson-eyed woman's hand and starting to clap, while the other Zoras were still amazed, but when the brute started clapping, everyone else did the same.
"That's it, that was very good girl, you did it, you showed that you're the strongest, I'm impressed that a Hyllian of your size can defeat a monster of my size" said the huge Zoras.
"I'm amazed at myself, how could I have achieved all this? I'm already almost equal to what the old rainahs were in strength and power, I'm going to be stronger than them... I might have a chance of defeating Andrew and bringing peace to Hyrule, I know I might be able to do it... I can... I can change the world... I Akko" said the emotional warrior from Luna Nova, who was even impressed by her own abilities and the powers she had acquired throughout this journey.
At that moment she couldn't think of anything but all the memories of that day six years ago of the queens' fight against Andrew, how she was becoming the equal of both of them in terms of strength and power,
having fought a Zoras of that size as if it were an enormous tranquillity, the memories that had always traumatised her throughout this journey began to turn into something more positive, as she began to remember that she could also reach that level and even surpass it, the reality of being able to defeat Andrew was no longer an imagination, it could be something tangible.
"Akko?Akko!" Ruto said.
"Ruto! I can, I can! I can do it! I can defeat Andrew! I can save Hyrule! I'm not weak anymore! I can do it!" Said Akko, who was even crying with emotion.
"You are without doubt the most powerful Hyllian I've seen since Louise Du Nord, I'm sure you will, now I'm sure you're the chosen one more than ever, you've shown that you can go far" said King Zoras.
"I just want to do everything I can to bring peace to Hyrule, I don't care if I'm strong or not, that's a consequence of the journey, in fact it even matters because I have to face that damn Andrew, but otherwise I don't care, now let's go to the temple of Louise Du Nord, I'm going to enter this dungeon and get to the end of it, it's the last three that will be the way for peace to return to this land" said the smiling Atsuko.
"We will go to the entrance of the temple, we trust you Atsuko, I know you can bring peace to our land of Zoras, you are truly our legendary warrior that we have waited for for many generations, now finally coming here for us, I even feel honoured to have such greatness with us" said King Zoras.
They all went together to the entrance of the temple, where the king had the key that would open the entrance to the place so that nothing would happen, since the open temple would allow monsters to come out and start invading the waters of the Zoras, which could cause a lot of death and destruction to the place that is considered sacred to all who live there.
"Well, here is the temple of Louise Du Nord, I hope we can help you now that you have access to our temple" said the monarch.
"That's all I need, I'm going to defeat the monster around here, free Louise from her seal and bring peace to this place once and for all, thank you for everything Zoras, you're better than I thought, you're marvellous people" said Kagari as she looked at the Zoras until Princess Ruto hugged her friend.
"Thank you for everything too Akko, promise me that you'll come back with more Hyllian friends here, I want to meet all your friends, maybe one of them I can bring here to Zoras to build a life, just like Louise tried, but this time between us Zoras, I would love it, it would be a dream, it's really a shame that you're married, because I would definitely ask for the hand of a warrior as incredible as you" said Ruto.
"Ruto, you've only known me a day, these things take time, it took me six years for the marriage between Diana and I to materialise, but it was also because of the event that happened in Hyrule that was out of our control, but if it hadn't been for that event it would still have taken me a few months to marry her... Anyway, what happened, ended up happening, there was no avoiding it, but I'll do my best not to let the same thing happen in the future, I'll guarantee the future for my girl that I'm waiting for, anyway... Let's go to the dungeon!" Said the crimson-eyed girl.

With a very frantic and fierce race, she had to give her all to the race, which showed that she was right to be concerned about just that, since it was her first time swimming at high speed and putting her body in a situation like that, which turned out to be much more complicated than the fight in which she was even frightened by the enormous potential her own body was capable of at that moment, reaching the point where she was equalling Queens Laura and Bernadette in their last fight six years ago, that was hope returning to Akko, that same hope she had six years ago of believing in everything had come true.
