The council is assembled in a large room as ibiki gives his report on the assassination mission. The clan heads are on one side of the room and are seated in ornate chairs marked with their clan symbols. A long wooden table with the leaf village symbol carved in the middle is in front of the clan heads. The hokage sits in a throne looking chair with the symbol of the village inscribed in gold at the top of the chair. He has a desk in front of him made of expensive mahogany and there are various designs in the wood to show his status as the head of the sarutobi clan, the hokage, the summoner of the monkeys, the master of all five elements, the master of the bo staff, and his status as a god of shinobi. On the other side of the room is the civilian council. Each member is the head of a part of the village, head of banking, head of merchants, the construction company head, and the head of mailing. Various others are in the room but we shall talk about them later.

Ibiki finishes his report and steps back as the council debates on the information. They are deciding if they should keep the money gained from gato's properties or if they should send it back to wave after taking a fee from it.

"What about a split? Gato had ten million dollars and wave needs one million to get back to normal and have a little left over for expansion. We keep eight million and give them two. That way we still gain a good amount from this and wave gets more than they need. We will be seen as benevolent and will likely get a trade agreement for discounts on shipments of fish or pearls." suggests the head of banking, an overweight man with fancy clothes wrapping his mass of flesh.

There are multiple nods and someone soon notices a tall red haired man standing in the corner of the room.

"Who is that? Why is he here during a council meeting?" asks the head of merchants, a woman with pink hair and a large forehead. Mebuki haruno, mother of Sakura haruno.

"Names yujiro hanma. William turned my slave seal to him. I was told to look for a guy named shibi and was pointed here." Yujiro replies as he leans on the wall.

"William has a slave? He has talked about getting a helper for collecting honey from his hives. What are your qualifications? Why are you a slave? Are you allergic to bees?" shibi drones.

"I'm a master martial artist and there aint a man alive that I can't beat with just my fists. I'm a slave since some pussies in the government back home decided it was too dangerous to let a man as dangerous as myself stay free. I'm not allergic to bees but I am allergic to seafood." is the reply.

There are more nods and the clan heads decide to speak up. A feral looking woman stands, her cheeks are marked with the red triangles of the inuzuka clan and an old hound with an eyepatch sits at her feet. She is tsume inuzuka, matriarch of the inuzuka clan.

"Can the genin Jake hyuuga relinquish the medical supplies he found in gato's home? My clan could use them for our dogs." she requests.

"No. I need them. I'm the medical expert of our team and the amount of supplies I use on my team is damn near bankrupting me. Medical chakra only goes so far and i would rather not be just a medic that's always exhausted from healing every little injury my team gets.'' Jake snaps.

"You're a medic? Why wasn't I notified of this?" a man with long hair and a regal kimono asks. His pupiless eyes show his hyuuga blood. Hiashi hyuuga, head of the hyuuga clan.

"I've always had a bit of a fascination with medicine and biology. Ibiki saw this and pushed me towards medical techniques. They work amazingly well with my fighting style and I can train more now that I'm able to heal my opponents easier. Granted I refuse to work on eyes. The thought of sticking a needle in someones eye is much too disturbing for me.'' Jake explains.

Hiashi nods at this and the council debates some more before mebuki speaks up.

"William aburame. Would you be willing to expand your honey business into wave? It would be a good foothold to getting more of our stores in another nation and increasing our revenue. We can provide land for your bees and workers to collect the honey. The village would only take a thirty percent cut from your business, the rest would go to you." mebuki questions.

"I would be willing however there are three requirements. I must teach the workers how to collect the honey and i need to introduce them to the bees. My final requirement is that forty percent of the profits go to my clan. Otherwise i would be willing. Give me the requirements for honey needed and then a week should be enough to breed more queens. Followed by a month before they reach the necessary size to produce a jar a day." william replies calmly. He hands a piece of paper to mebuki and she writes a few things on it before talking to the head of construction and adding a few more notes. The paper is returned to the heavily covered boy.

More talking is done by the council before a man stands. He is heavily scarred and has a missing left arm. He is the head of anbu, not the captain, he keeps the money flowing and scouts out recruits for the organization.

"William aburame. Would you be willing to sell the venom from your bees? The report says a lethal dose is pretty small and the effects take ten minutes. That would be amazing for anbu missions." the commander asks.

"That question is not for me. My honey is made from my unique breed of bees and thus falls under my control. The venom is a weapon however and you must ask the head of my clan. We already have a hive that is specifically for harvesting the venom. Mainly to produce antivenom for our clan members in the event that they get a lethal dose from my bees. Purely a precaution mind you because the accidental stings are rare but better safe than sorry.'' William replies.

Shibi nods and gives his consent for the venom to be sold to anbu. They debate prices for a moment and the agreement is reached. One vial contains enough venom to kill thirty people. Thus each vial is thirty dollars. An accord is reached and the council is dismissed. William walks away talking with mebuki and a few other council members as they continue to discuss his business expanding. Sam jogs off to go see a movie and get a bite to eat. That meeting was boring! Ibiki and yugao return to their homes for rest after the mission and Jake does the same.

Jake enters a small house that is separate from the other hyuuga clan members. He was given the house after multiple people complained about the stench of blood coming from his room. His training tends to be messy. At least. That's what they think. If only they knew. Jake enters his home and removes his kimono before pulling a lab coat over his simple white shirt and cargo pants. He descends the stairs and enters the basement before flicking on a light. A lab is revealed from the illuminated bulbs and Jake walks to a row of cages in the back of the room. A pig emerges from the shadows of the cage and old blood leaks from its maw as it oinks at jake. The cage opens at Jake's hand and the pig walks out before snuffling at jake.

"Hello peppa! Did you miss daddy?" Jake asks as he walks to the second cage followed by his pig.

A soft whine comes from the cage and a dog walks out. The dog whines and limps into the light as its body is revealed.

Its legs have been replaced with the legs of a bear and its tail is that of a crocodile. One of the bear legs is pale and hanging limply from its joint. Jake notices this and sighs before grabbing a clipboard that he writes on. The dog is released from the cage and led to a table that it is hoisted onto. Jake injects the dog with a fluid that sends it to sleep before his hand glows with chakra as he severs the pale leg. The blood is stopped by a bandage being wrapped around the stump. Jake grabs a tape recorder and clicks it on.

"Subject two is showing signs of rejection. The blood type was a match but the left front leg rejected the graft and has begun rotting as a result. I shall examine the leg and figure out the cause." Jake says to the handheld device before clicking it off.

A glowing hand slides down the severed limb and Jake examines the insides of the leg. Everything looks good. Wait. there's a blood clot. The leg did not reject the graft. A blood clot caused it to use up the nutrients in the limb and killed the limb. Jake reports this to the recorder and walks to a freezer after tossing the leg on the floor where peppa quickly begins consuming it. The crunching of bone and the squelch of torn flesh echo in the basement as Jake opens the freezer. He digs through the freezer before pulling out a bear leg. The tag has the right blood type. Jake nods and heads back to the table.

The bandage is removed and the leg is lined up to the stump. Jake sews the leg onto the stump before his hand glows and he uses medical chakra to fuse the muscles, veins, blood vessels, bones, and skin in the leg. Jake chuckles to himself before he fuses the nerves.

"Almost forgot the nerves again. Really need a note to remind myself." Jake says between chuckles.

The dog is lifted and placed back in the cage after its water and food dishes are refilled. Jake walks through his lab and checks on the other animals. A bunny with a snake tail and alligator legs. A rat with wings from a falcon. A centipede that has a bear head grafted to its neck. Jake passes by all of these sights with a calculating gaze and his faithful pig at his heels after finishing its treat.

Jake returns to the front of his lab and jots down a few more notes before heading back upstairs. Peppa follows and oinks happily at Jake after the lab coat is removed. The long haired boy smiles at his pet.

"Yes buddy. Now we can go for a walk. Come here." Jake says with a smile.

The pig approaches her master as the aforementioned man kneels and produces a rag. The blood is wiped off of peppa's maw and the pig oinks unhappily at the rag moving over her sensitive nose. Jake laughs and tosses the rag in a hamper before opening the door. The park sounds good for peppa. The children love her. Jake smiles as the large pig oinks excitedly and trots ahead of him. Both man and pet head to the park where children squeal and surround the pig to pet it. Peppa oinks happily as she basks in the attention of the children.

Jake chuckles and resumes reading his notes as he debates the merits of making a bat hybrid. His chimeras have been getting better but he doesn't have many flying ones. It's mainly an issue of finding wings strong enough to lift the animal. Most wings are built for hollow boned light creatures. He wants to make a mount that can fly but the only animal that's light enough and strong enough to carry him is a deer. There aren't any wings yet that he can find that would work though. He has heard rumors of large animals that can fly despite their size living on an island far out in the ocean. He would love to go there but he doesn't have a ship or the clearance to leave the village alone.

Jake debates how to get to that island as he watches his pig play with the children.
