When Lincoln entered the school he immediately saw zach
"wow!" Zach said "Lincoln is that you?"
"yea it's me." Lincoln said
"I didn't expect you to have brown hair." Zach said
"yea neither did I to be honest." Lincoln said "but let's get to our classes."
"right." Zach said "see you at lunch!"
"Lincoln!" He heard Clyde say his name "Where have you been I haven't heard from you this past month!"
"hey I'm alright ok?" Lincoln said "I'll explain during lunch."
"ok then." Clyde said
Lincoln went about his classes but all of his friends definitely noticed something was off about him.
he was more focused and the way he talked was different and he kept talking to himself in this weird language
(what happened to you Lincoln?) Clyde thought to himself

soon all of Lincoln's friends met up with him at lunch
"so what happened?" Rusty asked
"what do you mean?" Lincoln asked
"to you!" Clyde said "you come back after vanishing of the face of the earth for a month all different!"
(not technically wrong.) Lincoln thought to himself
"and zach why aren't you asking about anything? this is something that's right up you're alley." Clyde said
"because Lincoln told me." Zach said
"you told him before me your best friend?!" Clyde said
"for good reason because if I just dropped this on him here he'd lose it." Lincoln said
"so what's so big that you had to tell him first?" Girl Jordan asked
"what's the simplest way I can put this?" Lincoln said to himself
"come on we can take it!" Rusty said
"I know you guys can take it it's just that will you believe me?" Lincoln said
"oh come on you live in one of the craziest households In the world! Of course we will believe you!" Rusty said
zach and Lincoln winced at this
"you don't live there anymore do you?" Girl Jordan said catching on immediately
"oh very funny girl Jordan." Clyde said not believing it
"actually she's right." Lincoln said
"but your sisters still live there! I went to see if you were there and you weren't." Clyde said
"they're not my sisters not anymore." Lincoln said
" Lincoln did something happen?" Stella asked
"you could say that." Lincoln said
"what happened Lincoln?" Liam asked
Lincoln took a deep breath "about a month ago Lynn wanted me to go to her baseball game but I didn't want to because I had been going to the rest of my sisters activities but then she threatened me with a baseball bat so I went then her team lost I went to tell here that she did a good job and then she called me bad luck and then I got the stupidest idea of my life to use the bad luck as a way to get out of my sisters events but it worked too well everyone believed I was bad luck to the point they kicked me out of the house." When Lincoln said that girl Jordan Stella, Rusty and Liam gasped Clyde remained silent Lincoln continued talking
"then during a storm I heard them saying that now they sold all of my things they could go to the beach I didn't even think I just kept running."
"no there's no way Lori would do something like that!" Clyde said "she wouldn't allow to be kicked out
"grow up Clyde." Lincoln said shocking Clyde "I didn't believe Lisa or Luna or Lucy would go along with it yet here we are."
"well..." Clyde said before noticing Lola and Lana "let's ask Lola and Lana!"
"is that really a reliable source?" Girl Jordan asked as Lincoln noticed something
(wait that looks like-) Lincoln thought to himself
" excuse me I have something to take care of." Lincoln said getting up
"huh?" The group said
"by void's will." Lincoln said as suddenly a symbol began to glow under Lola
(shit.) dark matter thought to themselves as they ripped out of Lola's body
"Lola?!?" Lana said as Lola's unconscious body fell
"so you're knowledgeable about me." Dark matter said to Lincoln
"what is that?!?" Clyde yelled
"dark matter." Lincoln said
"your knowledge won't help after I use your body to get souls for my master: zero." Dark matter said "STARTING WITH THESE TWO!"
suddenly dark matter began to charge a laser at Lola and Lana but Lincoln moved quickly and put a rock wall in front of them with his friends questioning how he could do that
"Lincoln?" Lana asked as Lola slowly regained consciousness
"Lincoln?" Lola questioned
" hey you two." Lincoln said
"despite everything they've done to you, you still care for them?" Dark matter asked
"see that's the thing about being a hero you gotta save everyone you can." Lincoln said
"then I will give you a hero's end." Dark matter said as it transformed into its dark matter swordsman form
suddenly principal Huggins came on the the speakers to tell everyone to evacuate due to a monster in the cafeteria
"heh now I don't have to hold back!" Lincoln said after everyone had left
"it won't be enough-" dark matter began to say before Lincoln slammed a rock fist against them knocking them out a window
"enough monologue let's fight!" Lincoln yelled as he jumped out the window while pulling out his scythe
the battle began with both dark matter and Lincoln clashing however Lincoln overpowered them and began his attacks
Lincoln due to being a quick thinker and planner excelled at using his powers creatively for example putting sand in his shoes so he could fly with incredible speed
(he's too fast!) dark matter thought to themselves as Lincoln pummelled them
dark matter then tried to possess Lincoln but blocked by an invisible wall
"what?!?" Dark matter yelled
"neat little trinket ain't it?" Lincoln said pulling out a necklace from under his shirt "it's made from a crystal known as "void's tears" but long story short you can't control me or possess me."
"THEN ILL PILOT YOUR CORPSE!" Dark matter yelled
"you'll die trying." Lincoln said
dark matter kept trying to slash at Lincoln but he Just kept dodging
"you know if you had trained instead of possessing people you might actually land a hit in." Lincoln said before slamming dark matter into the ground
"this is all wrong! You can't be this strong! Nothing about this makes sense!" Dark matter yelled as a news crew drove in and began to record
"if that's making you rub your eye trying drinking this in." Lincoln said "I have a mentor who's way stronger than me but then again unlike you he's the most powerful being in the universe."
dark matter knew who Lincoln was referring to "what?!?"
"of course the one just under him is the being the killed zero." Lincoln said
"damn it! I was supposed to control you!" Dark matter yelled as Lincoln suddenly dropped a boulder on them
then when they got back up again Lincoln slammed them into the ground by the back
"damn it!" Dark matter said muffled by the ground
"excellent I've broken both your body and your spirit. Time to die." Lincoln said
(Die? Lincoln wouldn't kill somebody right?) Lola thought to herself as everyone watched from a distance
"wait I could offer you everything!" Dark matter said trying to bargain with Lincoln
Lincoln though about this for a moment before saying "okay."
"really?" Dark matter asked
"no." Lincoln said as he impaled them with a stone spike several times over
"zero... will... return..." dark matter said weakly
"sure keep telling yourself that." Lincoln said before he stomped on them and then pulled out a star cannon "it will make the trip to hell easier."
then he blasted them to nothing
Clyde had even more questions than before because he just saw his best friend kill an demon of some kind
"dang! Lincoln clearly learned a lot from you!" A female voice that Lincoln knew well
"of course he did I'm the most powerful warrior In the universe." A male voice said
Clyde looked to where the voices came from so did everyone else and saw a masked wearing orb with tiny legs and a red haired woman in a mask with only a pair of floating hands as limbs
"hey aunt flamburge hey Galacta knight!" Lincoln said
(Aunt?) Lola thought to herself
"so you took down your first enemy how do you feel?" Flameburge asked
"i feel great!" Lincoln said "though we should probably leave before someone tries to capture us."
"yea we should probably go." Flamburge said as galacta knight teleported them away
"Lincoln what happened to you?" Clyde asked
so Lincoln absolutely crushed dark matter considering he was trained by Galacta knight that's no surprise
void's tears are something original that I came up with they protect your very soul Francisca gave it to Lincoln after finding out that Morpho knight tried to go for his soul
they also function as the jambastion's fountain of dreams giving the people who live there good dreams
