"Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island, The final ten entered the second half of the game with massive flare as Bridgette won individual immunity earning herself safety to the final nine. As the groups met up to decide who to vote off, Alejandro and Todd decided it best that Laine and Roman be the targets for their groups. Alejandro's move was met with some criticism from Harold, and conflict from Geoff. The girls worked to flip Alexis and Todd worked to flip Cody but ultimately those plans failed. However Laine's last minute decision to talk to Geoff allowed for the votes to tie and force a tie breaker between Laine and Roman, where Roman ended up on top. However, despite Laine's alliance losing a member, it seems that they may have broken through to a few of Roman's own alliance members! Find out what happens next on this episode of Total Drama Pahkitew Island!"

Before Challenge

"Hey Bridgette, how's it going?" Cody asked as he sat down next to the surfer girl on the side of the river.

"It's going," Bridgette replied, skipping a stone across the water.

"You seem to be preoccupied, is something bothering you?"

"Yeah… I guess. I'm just confused, that's all."

"Is it over someone?"

"What!? I- how did you know?"

"Alexis and I have been… sort of similar," Cody honestly replied. "It's been getting better, but we're still pretty awkward." He blew out a breath that seemed to make Bridgette chuckle.

"That's good to hear. But yeah it is over someone, I'm just confused about Geoff."

"How so?"

"Well we both really like each other and all, but he lied at the Eva vote, and then he turned around and tried to help us this last vote, and I don't know what to think."

"Geoff has a good heart, he's not the brightest bulb, but he's always going to at least try and do the right thing. Which is more than what a lot of people do. It's also a game for a million, can't really blame him for being scared," Cody mused. "That much." He added once Bridgette stared at him. "Just have a conversation with him."

"You're probably right. I just needed someone to say it, you know."

"I get it. I know it's just a game but we all have real feelings at the end of the day."

Confessional, Cody

I hope Bridgette and Geoff work things out. It's not nice seeing heartbreak… unless they're pretty desperate… but Geoff isn't that.

As Cody walked away, his presence was replaced by Geoff's who had been taking a morning stroll. "Oh hey Bridge," Geoff said, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck, a nervous smile crossing his face as he sat down next to the girl.

"Hey Geoff," Bridgette greeted, looking away from the party boy.

"I know… you don't trust me… but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I did… or more so what I didn't do. I lied about my true intentions, and I'm sorry."

Bridgette let out a sigh before speaking, "I know you mean well Geoff, and going out of your way last ceremony at least showed that you're trying and I can appreciate the effort, but there's just a lack of trust there you know?"

"I get it," Geoff replied, hanging his head in defeat.

"Look I still like you, but as far as this game goes you have a lot of work to do to earn my trust back. Maybe there is something outside of this, and I know we both have our own friendships we've made that we have to work around, and I won't give you some ultimatum and force you to pick between me and someone else. But I just need to know that I can trust you again." Bridgette seemed to have varying levels of exasperation in her voice as she turned to look at Geoff, almost pleading with him.

"You can, I swear," Geoff nodded as his hat remained steady on his head.

"Let's just take it one day at a time alright?" Bridgette offered.

Confessional, Bridgette

Geoff broke a lot of trust with me, both on a game and personal level. He completely lied, I know he feels guilty and I know he means well, but it's going to take time before I fully ever trust him again. But I'm not going to completely close the door on him.

Confessional, Geoff

I can't blow this again, I absolutely cannot.

"This drawing looks really cool Drew," Alexis said, holding up a colored drawing, clearly made with art markers, of the Pahkitew Island cast standing in front of the massive cannon, with Chris and Chef on top riding it. Alexis handed the image back to Drew who was sitting in front of a desk in the tree house, whereas Alexis was in a beanbag.

"Thank you Alexis," Drew said with a mild blush. "I wanted to make something to commemorate this season, you know, something special."

"Yeah totally. I wish we met sooner, I'd have asked for a self portrait to take home," Alexis and Drew chuckled.

"Well I still can… just can't vote me out until it's done." Alexis smiled in response.

"I don't intend to. I like you, and there's some other… fodder if you will, that I'd much rather see gone."

"Roman obviously, but anyone else?"

"I mean if I'm honest, I wouldn;t mind dropping Harold and Todd soon too," Drew sighed as she put capped one of her art markers.

"I mean you know I'm good with Todd, but I do notice that he tends to close himself off sometimes. He's also gotten really into this idea of Alejandro needing to go, he hounded for it both times we've gone to tribal so far."

"Yeah you're not the only one who has noticed. I do think the lines more or less are starting to blur now that we've all spent some time together, so hopefully that parlays into us working together."

"Agreed."

Confessional, Drew

I wish I started with Alexis, I feel like her and I could be great friends and even better allies. We're both a little crazy in a fun way

Confessional, Alexis

I hate this game sometimes, some of these people are way too likable… well except Roman.

"What are you thinking? Mi amigo. We have the majority, but we should at least talk about the future," Alejandro said to Harold as the pair walked through the forest.

"I do think we should cut bait on maybe Roman soon, he's incredibly unreliable," Harold adjusted his glasses. "And I know you want Todd gone, I don't think it would be hard to get Geoff to vote for him, if we decide to go Roman first."

"Agreed, Geoff may be close with Bridgette…No se exactamente su relationship with Drew. But I have never felt that he and Todd were ever that close.," Alejandro pointed out.

"Agreed. It's something to watch out for. But I think if we want to make it far as a group, we gotta cut the loose cannons soon, before they start pulling idols or big moves."

"Let's see how this immunity plays out before we decide on a move."

Confessional, Alejandro

For all of Harold's… quirks… he actually has a solid strategic brain on him… which means he will have to go sooner rather than later. I am sure he is looking to turn on me also sooner rather than later.

Confessional, Harold

Todd has been campaigning for Alejandro to go, and I've seen first hand why, with his lie about Sam, and being able to force Laine out by using Roman. He's a great player, but sometimes great players don't make the end.

Roman and Todd had found themselves left alone in the cave, to strike up a conversation. Roman wrapped his arm around Todd's shoulder who looked like he wanted to vomit.

"So… any cute girls you've noticed here?"

"I've told you I'm dating someone right?" Todd stammered out.

"Yeah… but come on you can still talk about good looking girls, you hang out with Bridgette all the time, if a guy like me finds her attractive even though she's not barking up my tree then you can see it right?"

"We're just good friends, I think Geoff and Alejandro might know more about this than I would," Todd tried to deflect.

"Because they're off doing whatever right now, and I'm bored, come on man there's gotta be someone here you find cute."

"I'm good," Todd said, standing up and leaving the cave mildly shaking from the encounter.

Confessional, Todd

No

Confessional, Roman

What a prune. I was just trying to make small talk.

Once the morning sun had gotten to a higher point in the sky, the campers gathered around Chris in a new clearing on the island of Pahkitew.

"Hello Campers! Welcome to the…" Chris suddenly trailed off.

"Notable?" Harold chimed in.

"Nuanced?" Cody contributed.

"I like Noble," Todd agreed.

"Well you three are Nerdy," Roman mentioned.

"Novel sounds good," Drew mentioned.

"Noteworthy," Alejandro spoke simply. The other contestants seemed to agree with him.

"Well, I like that, but I like Nouveau better because I came up with it," Chris smugly grinned. "Today's challenge regards the neonatal and neural and nursing personality traits. Because of legal reasons… and the fact that Mister Milton doesn't want any more controversy, you will have to be dealing with robotic babies today!"

"What?" Harold stood confused as Dakota and Chef wheeled in two tables of robotic babies.

Each was different only in the color of the blankets that seemed to only expose a face. Most babies appeared to have a similar skin tone to the camper they were assigned to. "Looks like Todd's been busier than any of us thought. Twink had it in him," Roman chortled. Dakota let out a poorly hidden snort as even Harold cracked a smile.

"Well considering how some of you campers have been with each other I'm surprised that we don't have any Total Babies yet," Chris laughed with Chef. "This challenge is going to take you across three locales across the island. First we have the lions lunch, where rattlesnakes and lions lie. After that we have the pasta blaster where you have to keep quiet otherwise our very own sharpshooting chef will fire at you .Any other screams could wake up the local Pasta Bear. Our final zone is the Avalanche zone, where the slightest sound could trigger the unfortunate avalanche. Sammy, look away when the screen gets to you."

"Why do we have to be quiet?" Alexis asked.

"Because… our baby bots will activate with the slightest aberration in sound," Chris explained.

"LIKE THIS!" Chef suddenly turned the dial on a remote. The camera showed that of the twelve sections the dial was turned to number five. The robot babies started crying as the campers made a move to cover their ears. "If you drop the babies roughly then they'll be permanently locked to twelve. Don't drop them too hard."

"GOT IT!" Drew shouted, shocking a nearby Todd.

"IS THAT ALL?" Roman asked.

"WHERE'S THE START LINE?" asked Bridgette.

Chris pointed to an area between two tall trees. The campers lined up in alphabetical order. That was to say Chris and Dakota were the closest to Alejandro on the left and the line continued with Alexis, Bridgette, Cody, Drew, Geoff, Harold, Roman, and Todd in that order.

Confessional, Cody

(He's holding up his baby) The weird thing is, I think it has my eyes. I can't really tell whose nose that is. There's a beauty mark exactly where Alexis' would be. Are beauty marks hereditary?

Confessional, Bridgette

(She has her baby in her arms) I have to say that they nailed the blond. But why does it have Roman's nose?

Confessional, Drew

(She holds up her baby) Let's be real, it's almost perfect, but the skin tone is really pale. I suppose it works if I could marry a white guy.

"Where'd Chef go?" Harold inquired once they were all lined up.

"He's manning one of the stations," Dakota explained.

"Oh no, not Chef," Roman chortled, playfully elbowing Todd, who had to force a smile.

Chris pulled out his walkie talkie. "Chef, forty eight degree incline, Southwest south, at an appropriate mark."

The campers aired for a moment as they heard a whistle through the sky. A giant glob of spaghetti exploded just in front of Harold, covering him in most of the gunk. "GOSH!" He exclaimed.

Chris doubled over in laughter before, to his fear, the babies all started crying. The campers covered their ears as Dakota hastily turned a button on a similar remote. "Who can we blame for this?" Chris glared at Dakota.

"You're the one not using the safety!"

"Can we go?" Roman irately asked.

"One second…" Dakota turned a knob again.

The campers waited awkwardly again. The babies seemed to reset to a neutral position. "Go!" Dakota shouted in a way not to trigger the babies.

A camera shot overhead showed that Roman and Alejandro were pulling ahead. Geoff and Bridgette were close behind. Behind them was Drew, and behind her were Cody, Alexis, and Harold. Todd took a moment to adjust his baby in his arms before he started to run.

Confessional, Harold

(Holding his baby) I don't think it's optimal to run with this baby. I don't want to hurt this cute little redhead… I mean, look at it. Besides, I'm as susceptible to human packbonding phenomena as anyone else is

"You're keeping up fast," Roman turned to Alejandro.

"It's a conditioning tool. Had to keep up with my brothers somehow. But I admit, no tengo experiencia con el bebe."

"It's just like football. The good old American football."

The camera shifted further behind to show Geoff and Bridgette running at a similar pace next to each other. "You voted for…" Bridgette started to ask.

"Yeah," Geoff confirmed. "Like, I had to make it up somehow."

"So I see," Bridgette mused. She suddenly tripped over a root, sending her robot baby flying. The baby started screaming in a very shrill voice. "Oh…"

Drew quickly rushed up to the fallen blond and extended a hand, taking care not to trigger her own baby. Geoff started to walk back with Bridgette's baby. "Here you go," Geoff said, wincing at the shrill screams.

"Th-ACK!" Bridgette squealed as Drew dragged her away.

Confessional, Drew

Blonds… can't keep their hands off of each other. Just like those little dolls. Can't live with them, can't live without them.

The contestants ran into the first section without many shakeups in the order. Alejandro was the first one to cross a shakily and gaudily drawn line. He immediately screeched to something of a halt and checked in on his baby. The tanned baby seemed to rotate in its blanket before going back to sleep. Alejandro wiped his brow as Roman bristled past.

Roman took a cursory look at his baby to see it stirring. "Oh no…" Roman grumbled. He slowed his pace to a more manageable walk as he held the baby much like it would be burped. While the baby still fussed, Roman had to come to a screeching halt. "Is this it?"

The others had begun to fan out as they changed their approach to something rushed but ultimately quiet. Harold flashed a glance at Drew as they seemed to move, locked in step for an awkwardly brief moment that seemed to last for too long. Harold faked a right turn, Drew faked a right turn. Drew cocked her head up, Harold cocked his head up. Drew grabbed her chest with one hand, Harold grabbed his chest with one hand, confused.

"What?" Harold mouthed.

"Why are you following me?" Drew mouthed.

"I like honeydew," Harold tried to argue. The two stared at each other before suddenly breaking into a sprint.

Harold collapsed into a pile of leaves that made a loud rustling sound. "Gosh!" Harold exclaimed, much quieter than he normally would.

Bridgette whipped her head around, hearing Harold grumble indignantly, and a rattlesnake suddenly jumped over her head. The snake landed on the rim of Geoff's hat. In the process of flailing around the robo-baby fell out of his grip. "Uh oh…" Geoff winced. Cody looked at the action unfolding and started to cover his ears, making sure his baby was secure in his arms.

The baby's scream alerted a nearby lioness. It let out a big roar that caused a nearby lion cub to yowl in annoyance. One of the smaller lions made a lunge towards Alejandro as Alexis and Drew screamed in horror, their babies similarly screaming. Alejandro moved in a swift, fluid motion to strip off his shirt and wave it around. Alejandro's baby held close to his chest and his shirt waving in the air, Alejandro deftly maneuvered his way around the approaching lion, and broke away from the pack.

Suitably impressed, Todd, Geoff, and Bridgette started to follow Alejandro out of the cave. "Well done dude," Geoff cheered.

"I'm glad I was able to help you as well," Alejandro said as he and Geoff started to pull away from Bridgette and Todd.

Confessional, Alejandro

El gran tarde Burromuerto! I guess I can cross being a lion tamer off of my list.

Further behind, Alexis winced as she heard what sounded like electricity come from a nearby rattlesnake. "Si tienen electricidad…" Alexis mumbled. "Better keep these babies away from them." She started to dart away, right into the maw of a particularly prideful lion. She made a frantic one-eighty but the lion kept pursuing, the baby crying all the while.

Roman, nearby, was taking things surprisingly slow, as Cody and he wound up interrupting a nest of rattlesnakes. Flashing an annoyed stare at Cody, Roman quickly jumped to the end of the tangle of snakes, winding up on the other side as Cody ducked under a leaping snake. "Shut up," Cody looked at his baby.

Harold was keeping low to the ground as he made it to the edge of the first zone, escaping with his baby essentially on his back. Shortly following him was Cody, and Drew was quick to maneuver around a rather small tree in order to join the two geeks.

Alexis, still pursued by a lion, was running straight into a tree. Roman, nearby and trying to run away, suddenly changed course and tackled Alexis away from the lion. The two tumbled in the dirt as the lion cartoonishly bumped into the very tree Alexis was unwillingly running towards. The two groaned as they recovered.

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it, see you when I win immunity," Roman suddenly sprinted.

"Ay…"

Confessional, Roman

What? Competitions aren't fun if someone dies.

The camera shifted again to an aerial view. Alexis was fairly behind Roman and the two of them in turn were behind Harold, Drew, and Cody respectively. This meant that next was Todd, Bridgette, Geoff, and Alejandro. The latter two seemed to be pulling ahead of the previous two. After Alejandro once again crossed a graphic of a line, the camera changed to show the zone.

"Looks like the first of our campers have made it into zone two, where a blindfolded Chef will fire at will if prompted1" Chris announced over the loudspeakers.

"He's blindfolded?" Todd asked Bridgette when the two of them skidded next to Alejandro.

"I'm nervous about how that's going to work." Bridgette turned to her blond baby before covering it with a blanket.

Todd's baby started to whimper as he hesitated to shush it. It fussed loudly as Chef fired a warning shot high into the air. It landed just in front of Todd with a big splat as Todd started to stagger. Bridgette rushed forward only to stop in her tracks as she saw another glob of spaghetti barely miss her face.

Geoff witnessed what was happening and started to rush back. Alejandro, decently into the thick of it, started to run back. "Amigo no!" he whispered. "Por Favor, solo piensa en ti no te distraigas."

"What?" Geoff turned back. He looked briefly to the right to see a familiar, furry brown bear wake up with a roar. Geoff paled as he started running towards Bridgette, only to be knocked in the back by a glob of hot spaghetti. With his loud scream the babies started crying just as Cody, Harold, and Drew showed up to the scene.

Confessional, Alejandro

Le adverti, but now this is going to be a real big mess.

Confessional, Cody

I love a good spaghetti, but usually I don't eat it fired out of a cannon… or a gun for that matter.

Roman crossed the invisible boundary of the second zone as he moved a hand on top of his baby's mouth. The baby let out a muffled cry as Roman looked on frustratedly. "Yo pienso que no seas un padre," Alexis strode up, gently rocking her baby.

"Eh I'd rather my wife not snipe at me," Roman glared. He moved his hand from the baby's mouth as he and Alexis were suddenly sprayed with a stream of marinara sauce. Both strained to remain silent as the pasta bear started to turn around.

The camera followed the pasta bear just as Drew and Cody hesitantly started to skirt around the trees. Harold tried to jump around several shots of spaghetti while his baby seemed to keep wailing. "Slow down Harold!" Cody called out, causing his own baby to cry.

"Why do you want someone to slow Harold down?" Drew asked Cody just as she was pelted in the face with a lot of marinara sauce.

"No, Harold just needs to slow down," Cody mentioned. "Come on, that bear is getting too close…"

The two managed to rush forward, routing Pasta bear into some bushes just as the others started dodging more and more spaghetti shots. Bridgette grabbed ahold of Todd's hoodie, preventing him from slipping over some fresher spaghetti and damaging his baby. "Come on!" Alejandro called, trying to usher his fellow campers forward.

Confessional, Drew

(she's covered in sauce) Never was a fan of spaghetti, I prefer more of a fettuccine myself, and definitely not marinara. Alfredo sauce, being white, doesn't necessarily drown out an artist's color palette. Pesto is alright but the smell isn't that good.

Roman slipped on some spaghetti just as the pasta bear let out a fierce roar. Roman got to his feet and started sprinting away from the roaring pasta bear as he encroached on Harold and Alexis. He started sprinting and ran into Geoff, accidentally trading babies when both babies soared rather high in the air. "Wow, you're pretty tough with that tackle," Roman said as he stood to his feet.

"Football with my broski," Geoff adjusted his hat.

"Down to throw the pigskin after the game is over?"

""Cha brah, better get going, think it's just us and the bear here now," Geoff said as he and Roman turned around.

"Yep, see ya!" Roman suddenly split.

Witnessing Geoff and Roman split, Alexis, Harold, Drew, and Cody peered around the tree. "Wow, his perception mustn't be that good," Harold noted.

"Roman or Geoff?" Cody asked.

"Both. football jocks do that. What's Brigette running back here for?" Harold suddenly pointed in the direction of the blond surfer. The larger group met Bridgette in the middle and they started to run in a better sprint. A spray of marinara sauce suddenly covered the remaining campers. Alexis and Cody spared a glance at each other as they started to run out of the spaghetti section, trying to ignore a marinara covered Pasta bear.

Enraged, the bear suddenly started to sniff the air, chasing Harold, Bridgette, and Drew. Harold and Bridgette ran behind one tree and Drew hid behind another. "Why are you back?" Harold asked.

"Todd got worried and I told him to run," Bridgette mentioned. "I also had a nagging feeling."

"Yeesh," Harold said. "Where's Drew?"

Drew slowed her breathing down as she glanced around a tree. The smell of spaghetti permeated the air while she licked her finger. In order to find out the best way to go, she took a step in a random direction. Hoping against hope, she took a step and fell into a small hole. With a scream she was suddenly nailed in the face with hot spaghetti.

She screamed again and a meatball fell in her mouth. She doubled over, coughing. "So, don't rely on Drew for babysitting?" A nearby Harold commented to Bridgette.

"I mean totally justified with her screaming."

Bridgette tucked her baby in her hoodie's pocket and grabbed the other two by their hands.

Confessional, Harold

Looking at the clothes that we all have, I think Bridgette and Todd have the best ones. Maybe Roman and Alejandro too. I mean, Alejandro's pants are really tight around him but he's still so flexible around them. Gosh what I wouldn't give for that kind of form fitting work to flatter me.

Another camera shot showed that most of the campers were bunched up rather tightly as they ran into the third zone. Geoff started to shiver as he crossed the supposedly invisible boundary into the more snow covered location. Alejandro, again in the lead, took a step into the snow, only to suddenly drop about five inches in height. This caused Roman nearby to hesitate before he backed away..

Harold arrived just as Alejandro pried his foot out from the rather fluffy snow. The Spaniard dusted his pants free of snow onto Harold's shoes. "Sorry my friend," Alejandro mentioned. "I must admit I have minimal time in Burgos. Though I suppose a Canuck such as yourself would be rather used to it."

"Yeah, Windsor gets it every so often," Harold agreed. His baby started to fuss. "Best we can do is go for something with a wide surface area."

"Yo veo, Buena suerte," Alejandro replied as Harold tied some pieces of wood to his feet.

Bridgette and Alexis, winding up in the back of the pack, caught their breath as they finally looked at the snow in front of them. "Uphill first, then downhill?" Bridgette looked at the expanse of white in front.

Alexis' breathing slowed to a more manageable pace just as she felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned around, confused, seeing Pasta Bear, covered in sauce, glaring at her. Alexis let out a scream as Alejandro, nearby, calmed his baby down. Thinking quickly, Alexis dove into some of the snow as the bear started to encroach.

Pasta bear let out a big roar while Bridgette ran into the snow and Alexis again started to scream. Alejandro stripped off his shirt and held it high above his head, making another shout to ward off the bear. The bear, somewhat confused and intrigued, started to walk up to Alejandro. Alejandro stopped for a moment, picked up his baby, and winked at the bear. Pasta bear suddenly roared and Alejandro and Alexis dove further and further into the snow.

"Ay… tienes frio?" Alexis' eyes suddenly shot to Alejandro's shirtless and well defined torso.

"Es nada, mi sangría española regula mi calor," Alejandro said as he started to put his shirt back on.

"Well we have to make a big move somehow, in the game and this challenge," Alexis mentioned. "How about we just focus on calming these babies and then move."

"Por que no los dos?" Alejandro said as he and Alexis started to slowly emerge above the snow.

Confessional, Alexis

Ay Alejandro… what a guy, so nice of him to look out for me, but I can tell he's looking out for others, so it's not that exclusive. Still, un chica puede soñar.

Todd and Drew had managed to slip through the trees and were making decent headway. The two stared at each other in rather determined silence as they held their babies above the snow. "You know I feel like one of the first French settlers," Todd mentioned offhandedly to Drew.

"Hmm?"

"They had to walk far distances, and sometimes they didn't have wagons," Todd explained. "Or even Sacagawea."

"Who?"

"Never mind," Todd sighed as he continued trudging. Drew quickened her pace as Todd was walking through a rather tough portion of the snow.

Confessional, Drew

(The confessional just has Drew shaking her head free of snow. She puts her finger in her ear and some snow falls out) What?

Cody had managed to somehow fall uphill as he continued up in a zigzag pattern. "So close…yet so far…" he bemoaned.

He took another step, accidentally kicking a fallen Geoff. The party goer muffled a little something that caused Cody to pause. Besides himself, Cody bent down and extended a hand. "What was that Geoff?" Cody asked.

"Can't go up without going down. I once played a game of truth or dare that destroyed my neighbor's pool but then they replaced it with an extra sweet hot tub that she let us streak into."

"Wow, I guess I can see who is going to be the fun parent. Or the bad influence parent," Cody mentioned offhandedly. Geoff laughed at his comment as the two started to trudge up again.

Bridgette started to stomp through the snow in an effort to displace as much loose powder as possible. She tried to maintain a positive pace and a smile on her face even as the cold started to get to her. Her baby let out an adorable coo and she looked down on it. "Well you're an adorable robot," Bridgette seemed to tickle its chin. She looked behind to see that some of the other campers were making their way up the hill.

The first to break over the hill was Cody. He looked to his left to see Alejandro and Alexis both helping each other up. Roman seemed to be going at a breakneck speed up that did not necessarily seem attainable. Without much to do, Cody got low and started his way down the long and steep path.

Very close to him, Harold took a particularly nasty fall until he turned up next to Cody. "You okay dude?" Cody winced.

Harold let out a pained moan as his baby started crying. A bit of the snow around them started to tumble from a high tree. "Uh oh…"

"I agree, so calm it down!" Cody hesitated. "The end is almost here!"

The other campers slowly crested the hill. Todd was the last to crest as the others seemed to make it over with relative grace. They started to make their way downhill. A brief camera shot overhead again showed that the campers were all relatively close to each other. Noticing Roman quickly approaching, Cody sliding down the mountain with Harold, and Bridgette still stuck in a particularly rough piece of snow, Todd looked at his baby, looked at the mountain, and looked at Roman. "Come on… I can't believe I'm.."

The camera cut to Roman, Alejandro, Alexis, and Geoff as they heard Todd yodeling at the top of his lungs. "The twink can yodel?" Roman asked.

Geoff looked at him with a raised eyebrow just as Todd started hollering down the mountain. He held the baby tight against his chest as the large wave of snow eventually swooped up Roman, who was the closest. Alexis was the next to disappear under the wave of white as she called out for Alejandro. Alejandro made a quick leap onto a large tree that had fallen over. He snapped off a piece of the trunk that was approximately snowboard sized and remained steady with his baby just as the avalanche started to carry him.

Confessional, Todd

Never tried that before… and I never want to do that again…

With the greenery all around suddenly collapsing seemingly in response to the avalanche, Cody quickly hopped onto a flat rock and kicked it down much like one would on a skateboard. Harold, several meters to his left, couldn't grab onto anything in time and made a jump across a giant stump. Similarly, Drew had scampered up a giant tree but was stuck as it jostled back and forth. Bridgette, just under the tree, clung to her bundle and started to run, only to bump into Harold. The nerd lost his glasses and his baby as Bridgette looked on guiltily. Beside herself, Bridgette made a move to Harold's glasses, and ran back to Harold as the avalanche seemed to slow down.

A brief graphic from above showed that as the avalanche petered out into an arrowhead, Cody was at the tip, several dozen feet in the lead. Harold and Bridgette were to his right outrunning the avalanche. Because of the fall path Roman and Alexis were in the very back. Geoff's progress seemed to have stalled with Alejandro where the two wound up on the same rocky outcropping and Drew was still stuck in the tree.

The avalanche finally came to a stop. Cody's baby started crying as he sprinted to the finish line now in sight. In his mad dash he nearly tripped and lost his shoe, but he recovered, and jumped across the line.

"Cody wins immunity!" Chris announced through a megaphone.

"I won?! I WON!" Cody shouted in triumph. He dropped to his knees with the robotic baby still in his hands as he screamed to the sky. The robot baby started crying but the triumphant nerd threw it away without regard.

"He really did need that, didn't he?" Harold said as he and Bridgette similarly crossed the line. Their babies started crying as they crossed.

Chef rounded up the remaining contestants and they all gathered at the finish line. "Cody, you've-"

"I WON! I WON! I WON! I WON!" Cody cheered.

"Yes, yes you did Cody, you get the next part of the meal, appropriately baby back ribs with garlic butter aged under olive branches and non-alcoholic cider Now, you have another choice."

"Another?" Cody's mood suddenly deflated.

"This is the second to last opportunity for multiple people to win immunity, barring escaped psycho killers with chainsaws and hooks, so here's the deal. You get to give immunity to someone else today."

"What?" Cody's face fell. "I can't… wait…" He looked across the hopeful eyes of his fellow campers as he gulped nervously.

"Does he have to?" Alejandro spoke up after several seconds of awkward silence.

"Not necessarily, but he can use it to save an ally or an enemy or whoever he wants," Chris explained.

"Ah," Alejandro thought with his finger twirling his goatee. "Cody, I humbly request that you do not give immunity to me. I'd rather you choose someone else."

Cody stood, dumbfounded, as Alexis shook her head. "Not for me either. We'll be… fine."

He passed a glance to Bridgette and Harold, who both shook their heads.

"Yeah, I'm fine without it too," Todd spoke up.

"Same here," Drew and Roman suddenly stated.

"You earned it brah," Geoff agreed.

"So just to be clear, I can take the sole immunity, and not give ribs to anyone?" Cody turned to the others. "Then… I won't give anyone immunity."

"Suit yourself," Chris shrugged. "Good luck everyone. You can't vote for Cody but the rest are up for grabs."

Confessional, Cody

I'm still trying to wrap my head around it…

(The camera suddenly cut to the outside of the confessional.)

Harold walked up to the door before he suddenly recoiled as Cody shouted. "IMMUNITY IS MINE!"

Harold stared at a nearby camera before he dashed off.

After Challenge

Roman had left for a short jog to blow off steam, and Cody had returned from his reward, everyone but Roman was inside the cave, speaking in hushed voices.

"Can we please eliminate him now," Todd made a desperate plea.

"I'd love to, he is so annoying," Alexis added.

"He doesn't have an idol right?" Drew asked, earning a side glance from Harold.

"No shot he does, dude would've bragged about it by now," Cody mused, earning a couple chuckles from the group.

"Alright then it's settled, let's all vote Roman and be done with his nonsense," Alejandro exclaimed, and the group scattered away, making sure Roman had no idea what was going on.

Confessional, Drew

About time he went home.

Confessional, Geoff

I've protected Roman for far too long, I'm sorry to those I hurt by keeping him here.

As the group dispersed Geoff pulled Alejandro and Alexis aside behind the cave, "Hey guys I just wanted to run something by y'all," Geoff said.

"What's up amigo?" Alejandro asked.

"I was thinking that after this vote, that maybe us, plus maybe Bridgette could come together to form a sort of foursome," Geoff explained.

"I would be down for that, and then we'd just need to get down to seven to have a majority," Alexis mused.

"The next question would be, who would we vote for in the next round?" Alejandro wondered. "I know we would prefer Todd, but I doubt Bridgette would be eager."

"Why not just cut Harold?" Alexis suggested. "Get us to seven and then we can work something out from there."

"Not a bad idea, what do you think Geoff?"

"I'm down for whatever, I just want to get my homies as far as possible you know."

"A noble idea, let's get Roman out of here and then figure it out from there," Alejandro said.

Confessional, Alejandro

I've been looking for an excuse to break up the Harold and Cody duo… but do I really want to exchange one duo for another… hmmmm.

Confessional, Alexis

In an ideal world, I substitute Roman and Harold in our alliance for like Drew and Bridgette. Harold's insistence on voting Drew out these last few rounds has left me a little suspicious of him.

"After this, what do you think our best move is?" Drew asked the short mapmaker.

"I think we gotta just keep after the jocks in my opinion," Todd replied, kicking his feet up inside the treehouse, as Drew stood in the corner, arms crossed.

"Alejandro and Geoff?" Drew asked.

"Yeah, I know they're both pretty protected by some of the others, but they both need to go for our sakes."

"Agreed. I don't trust Geoff, and neither does Bridgette as far as I know. But at least he seems willing to work with us. Maybe we should try to go after Alejandro next?"

"Cody has expressed wanting Alejandro gone soon, and if he is expressing it, then Harold likely is too."

"Us, plus the two boys and Bridgette should be enough to get it done."

"Hopefully he doesn't win tomorrow."

Confessional, Todd

I know it's Roman today, but if I can start to gather numbers against those boys that would be huge. I know Bridgette won't want to go for Geoff, and Alejandro is losing Roman now which is good so he isn't as threatening as before, but he still has Geoff and Alexis with him I think, so I still gotta be careful.

Confessional, Drew

With Laine now gone, I gotta find some new allies, and Todd is someone I've grown quite fond of recently, so why not work with him. Buuuuuuuuuut, I'm not just going to go along with his plan just because. I need to be cautious and thoughtful about what I do.

"We're going for Todd by the way," Cody said to Roman as the pair were meeting alongside the river.

"Cool, the group already decided on that?" Roman asked, perplexed.

"Yeah. We figured you'd be cool with it since you two don't really like each other."

"Yeah that's the truth. Pipsqueak is just too much of a nerd for me, and he's got a bit of an attitude for such a small kid."

"Right…." Cody said, his eye visibility twitching.

"Anyways, I'm good with going Todd. Sooner he's gone the better for my sanity," Roman chuckled.

Confessional, Roman

About time we got rid of that pipsqueak. Sorry, twink.

Confessional, Cody

Idiot.

"You know I've been thinking Bridgette," Harold started as the pair were making their way to the voting booth as the sun was setting.

"What're you thinking Harold?" Bridgette asked the nerd.

"I think that with you and Geoff getting closer again, maybe us, him, and Cody could come together for a group of four moving forward."

"Hmmm…" Bridgette paused, bringing her hand to her chin. "Roman goes here, but what happens next?"

"Well I know Todd and Drew have both expressed wanting Alejandro gone, so we can vote him out, and then boom we'd have a majority."

"It's a good plan assuming he doesn't have an idol."

"I think Alejandro would be going for Todd anyways, since he knows for certain Todd is after him."

"That is true. It's not a bad plan. But I mean you know I still have my trust issues with Geoff."

"Yeah I know, but I think he'd stick to us three."

Confessional, Bridgette

In another time I'm sure Harold and I would be on another team, probably struggling to defeat some Total Drama demi god. But for right now I gotta keep my eye on him, I think everyone is starting to see he's got a mind for strategy. Geoff did approach me already with another four with Alexis and Alejandro. I have to think which foursome is better for us to go with, and which one allows me to keep more allies.

Confessional, Harold

I know at some point people will start to become threatened by me, if I can build some inroads with the other 'side' so to speak, I may be able to save myself when that time comes.

Elimination Ceremony

"Welcome in campers to yet another bonfire ceremony, where soon nine will become eight. You guys have fought your way past the mid way point and now you are going to enter the end game. This is where games have been made and lost. Tonight you have cast your votes into this lovely ballot box, and FINALLY thanks to our lovely interns the voting confessional doesn't smell like marshmallows covered in bear crap!" Chris exclaimed, earning some snickers from the cast.

"All of you were eligible to earn votes except for Cody," Chris said as the campers cast a glance at the geek. He happily scarfed down more ribs with a giddy smile on his face. "I don't think I've seen anyone that happy to eat in a long time."

"If anyone has an immunity idol and would like to play it, now is the time to do so."

"SIXTH VOTE… and the twelfth person voted out of Total Drama Pahkitew Island and the third member of our jury… Roman. It's time for you to go!"

"Wow… well can't say I am surprised. Mid merge is always where the threats go out," Roman chuckled, earning some eye rolls from the cast and the hosts.

"I'm sure Eva and Laine will be very happy to see me, Alejandro, Geoff as the last jocks left you guys better take this, peace out you guys. I'll see some of you very soon!" Roman waved as he jogged off to the cannon and hopped inside.

"Chef, let's light this candle!" Roman exclaimed as he was shot right into the air a loud yell of excitement was heard as he fist pumped through the air.

"We're down the final eight, and with public enemy number one now finally gone, it seems like this game will start to heat up again as the two big alliances are beginning to intermingle with each other in hopes of coming out on top. Find out what happens next time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island!"

Final Confessional, Roman

Well they finally got me, I know you all expected me to blow up on all of them, but I can't say that I'm mad. They blindsided me completely, probably because I was a threat. And I can go down knowing that I went all out all the time and I managed to beat out the likes of Sadie, Leonard, Eva, and Laine before finally being taken out. Sucks I went out unanimous though, but it goes to show that I really was the only true lone wolf out here!

Scenes from the Next Episode

Alejandro picked up a piece of pizza dough and threw it down onto a table. "OH YOU DID NOT JUST RUB THAT DOUGH!" Drew shouted, pointing a finger in his face.

"Y QUE SI FROTO ESA MASA?" Alejandro snapped back.

Todd slammed the door open, holding one of the baby robots. "Drew! This is your baby that you had with Geoff!"

"Uh-uh!" Drew snapped back, snapping her fingers like lightning.

"Alright well good luck with your talent," Geoff smiled. He stepped on his skateboard in an effort to skate away rather slyly. Unfortunately for him one of Harold's components was on the ground and Geoff spiraled away.

"See you later," Bridgette sighed. "boy…"

"Here, hold this," Drew gave a pipe to Todd.

"I mean you know why we're talking right? I just need to-"

A loud and hollow sound echoed in Todd's face as he was sprayed with puke colored paint. "That sounds a little too low."

Todd spit out some paint. "I hope you can find someone else to work with."

"Is that true?" Alejandro said as he leaned on The wall where Harold was currently calibrating one of his mics.

"Yes," Harold said. Before he could say anything else the mic began reverberating against one of the speakers. Alejandro and Harold dropped the mics they were holding and dove out of the room.

Dakota ran into the room, spraying a fire extinguisher. "NO CORN!" she shouted.

Under the mist of foam, water, and lights, Todd barely poked his head out. "It's not that kind! It's popcorn!"

"What kind of flavor?" Alejandro asked.

"The flavor of Deez nuts!" Harold shouted. He and Todd did a victory dance as Alejandro seemed to melt into the fire extinguisher.

Reviews

Nobody245 (Trygve): Geoff was the only one to really go for it because of his strong connection with Laine. Alexis and Cody, for how much they dislike Roman, don't really want to save Laine, Cody did have some incentive with the premerge deal but not enough for him to betray his other allies. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter!

(Rj) To be blunt with the Drew thing, it was a bit of bisexual panic. Every one she listed is arguably hot so that's why she mentioned that. She's practiced a lot of drawing on nude models like every artist should so this really shouldn't be any different. I don't think this chapter was as much of an explosion as you expected but hope you enjoyed it.

SuperSonicHeroes (Trygve): Yeah if we had eliminated another canon character (Bridgette or Harold based on positioning were the most likely maybe) then the OCs would outnumber however it was not meant to be as Laine's time was up. Laine and Geoff were great together and great to develop, we like Laine but felt his story had a solid ending here and had a nice little bow on his story. Geoff did make a big move but it won't have as many repercussions as his last one did which is good for him, and I'm glad you enjoyed Alexis's backstory a bit, she's been a bit of a slow burn but we're really starting to dive into her character more now that she's becoming more of a central figure. Glad you enjoyed the chapter!

(Rj) Glad you enjoyed Laine while he lasted. Geoff definitely is going to be making some bigger moves especially with his character at play. Yeah, with a water challenge I bet it was written on the wall who was going home.

LordGemini: (Trygve): I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter! I know you're not the biggest fan of unanimous votes, but this one had to happen at some point. So I hope you enjoyed the comedy and the possible set up for more of the merge. And I'm glad we haven't been too predictable with our boot order and we've made some of the boots surprising for you, especially after a semi predictable premerge.

(Rj) Glad you're enjoying the merge so far. Hopefully we can still keep you on your toes even if it might get a little predictable in the end.
