Chapter 12
The next morning, Inuyasha arrives at the school's parking lot finding an empty spot to park his car. Good thing there were a few empty ones around. Must be his lucky day. He gets out and gets his bags for today's lessons. But then another car pulls up next to his own. Inuyasha turns to see it's Kagome car. "Kagome, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Moroha today?" Inuyasha asks her as calmly as he could through his disguise.
The door opens but it wasn't Kagome who came out. It was Rin. "Caught you off guard, eh Inuyasha?" Rin giggles to see how dumb that guy was to think his wife would bother coming in. Inuyasha groans at his own stupidity. "Did Kagome let you borrow her car?" He asks her. Rin smiles. "As a matter of fact, she let me use it. Her mother is letting her use hers because mine is in the shop for a tune up." Rin answers him as they enter the building.
Rin enters her classroom and get things ready before class begins. She looks around to see that the cameras are still in place, hidden in different angles. She opens her tablet and opens the app that connects the cameras. So far so good. She even asked Kagome what she was teaching before looking after Moroha. From what shocked her that the class is to focus on the human body.
After what Sesshomaru told her about Moroha's condition so far, she's grateful that her twins don't have to go through that. Soon enough the bell rings to alert her that it's time to begin her lessons. "Ok class, today we're going to be learning about the human body. There's a certain system that involves blood and the heart. Can any of you guys tell me which system I'm preferring to?"
A few students raised their hands. Rin looks for the girl that she met the day before. "Saki." She calls to her. "It's the circulatory System." Saki smiles. Rin smiles back. "Correct. You see blood is very important in living beings. If you guys don't about it yet. The human body contains four different blood types. Can anyone tell me one?" Rin writes down four blank lines on the board to show the students.
"You, Kohi." She points to one of the students. "There's B." He said confidently. Rin nods. "Correct. B is one of them. Does anyone else know what the remaining three are. Let's see. Yoshi." She points to a different student in the room.
"I believe there's A." She spoke in a hopeful voice. Rin nods. "That's right. A is another type." She writes down A on the board. "Hige. How about you? Can you think one more?" She asks one of the students in the back. "O is another blood type." He said calmly. Rin keeps her smile. "Excellent. O is another. Now this last type of blood is rare. Does anybody know what that rare blood type is?" She asks the class. Unfortunately, no one is raising their hands. "It's ok, class. I don't blame you. You should know that this rare type is hardly mentioned. It's called AB." She said as she writes the last one on the board.
"Excuse me." Saki raised her hand. Rin tuns around to see her. "How come AB is rare?" She asks the teacher. "Saki, that is a very good question. So far, I have told you about the four types of blood. A, B, and O. Like the other 3 A, B, and O are easy to learn because they each have their own antigen to deter to either accept or reject. However AB is not just rare but it's extremely complex to know about it."
She sends out the study sheets of the blood type charts for each of the students. "So far you know about the basics of the four blood types. "The sheets will help you understand what each blood does have and what it does not have."
The students read down the charts. So far, it's just basic knowledge. "For your homework assignment, you need to fill in the blanks to answer the questions." She begins her instructions to hear a knock on her classroom door. "Ms. Hoji." It was the principal. The students know when the principal is in their classroom, they are to remain silent and focus on their work. Rin nods and leaves the classroom and quietly closes the door behind her.
The principal is a man in his mid forties with a black business suit with a stern serious expression on his face. "Can I help you, Mr. Tsumaki?" Rin asks him first politely. "I've noticed that you're teaching blood to the class." He starts not really impressed with this. "So. It's science and they have to know what blood is know for." Rin said to him in a matter-of-fact tone.
"The point here is that they need to know the basics of science. This is high school, not college. And from the way you were teaching your class has gotten me concerned." Mr. Tsumaki crossed his arms. Rin can see that he's a bit scary, but being Sesshomaru's wife, she's seen worse. "That's true. However they need to be ready about the details about the blood itself instead of a red liquid that's flowing in our bodies. I'll only teach them this once, but afterwards will be a new topic entirely." Rin assures him seriously.
"See to it. If I find out that you go back on your word, I'll have you fired from here." The principal tells her before walking away. Rin frowns a little and gets back into the classroom to finish her lesson of the day.
Back in the van that was a block away, Sesshomaru heard everything from Rin's earrings that she was wearing for the day, as well as the camera from her glasses that she wore with her disguise. And hearing that man talk to his mate like that will not go unpunished. As such he has to observe the remaining hours of the school to know more about the students. So far not much about the Saki student is being discussed. The blood topic was his idea to see if he could find any on the students or the teachers who would be responsible for the terrorist attacks.
The bell rings and Rin is packing up her belongings. "Ms. Hoji." She turns to see Saki at the door. "Yes, Saki. Is something wrong?" Rin said to her gently. "Is there any way I could tell you something." Saki said shyly. Rin smiles. "Saki, Mrs. Aino is a personal friend of mine. She's my sister-in-law, so I'll make sure she knows the moment I see her." Saki didn't see that coming. "Oh ok…" She whispers into Rin's ear, not noticing that her earring is hearing the whisper loud and clear.
"I see. I'll let her know ok. You should get home soon." Rin advice the girl. Saki runs off thus leaving Rin on what to do next. But first she needs to give Kagome the information she just received from Saki. As soon as she gets into Kagome's car and drives back to her home to get dinner ready for the twins, Sesshomaru arrives at the school parking lot in his backup car. Just a typical sedan car. He parks and waits for the man who rudely spoke to Rin.
It doesn't take long for Sesshomaru to spot the principal to get to his own vehicle. "Excuse me. Mr. Tsumaki." He said to the man. Mr. Tsumaki turns to see Sesshomaru walking up to him. "Yes. Can I help you with something. "I'm Ms. Hoji's husband." Sesshomaru said to him. That made Mr. Tsumaki confused. People should know for any teacher's name should be Miss. Not married. Mrs. Currently married. And Ms. As in no longer married.
"As in I'm Sesshomaru Takahashi. Ms. Hoji is actually my wife Rin Takahashi. The reason she is using her maiden name is because she's part of my team." Sesshomaru shows the principal his agent badge. That made the principal uncomfortable. "Please if it has to do with what I said to her this afternoon, it wasn't my fault." He begs due to Sesshomaru's cold stoic expression.
"In fact that's exactly why I'm here. You of all people should know now that if you ever spoke to my wife like that will have to talk to me and believe I don't take this lightly. Not just that, you are fully aware of the terrorist attack." Sesshomaru said seriously.
"Yes, I'm doing everything I can with the board to make sure it doesn't happen again." The principal tries his best to remain calm throughout this conversation. "But from the looks of it, nothing has happened. You know that Rin isn't the only one in my family who is on this mission." Sesshomaru crossed his arms.
"Mrs. Aino and Mr. Tikishima. The other sub teachers. My brother and his wife. Those are just their cover names. We're here to find who the terrorist was here. So, if you collaborate with me, I'll make sure that I won't stand up to my wife's idea of teaching."
The principal can tell that Sesshomaru is dead serious about this. "What do you want to know?" He asks.
"The names of the original teachers who were killed." Sesshomaru demands the two names. That made sure that Mr. Tsumaki didn't have any other choice. "The science teacher was Mrs. Kohori. And the history teacher was Mr. Benimoto." The principal tells him immediately.
"Anything what the two victims have in common?" Came Sesshomaru's next question. Mr. Tsumaki shakes his head. "Not much I know. Maybe one of the teachers who knows them could tell you. However that teacher isn't here."
Sesshomaru can tell that he's hiding something, but this is just assumptions at the moment. "Very well. From now on, no more interfering with my wife's work. She is to resume her lessons in class. After all it's science class." Sesshomaru leaves the school grounds and heads home.
